    GT7 has really good gameplay. It feels great with a steering wheel. Kaz and PD got the hard part correct. Graphics are also good. But:
    1) For a game that cost 75 euro where I live you are always being asked to top up your credits with real world money. It reminds me of a free to play mobile game like candy crush. This is not what I expect from a first party Sony title. It's disgraceful.    GT7 has really good gameplay. It feels great with a steering wheel. Kaz and PD got the hard part correct.     3) I cant even refund the game because of Sonys refund policy.
    4) The music is terrible
    5) always online is so stupid. I was off work on the 17th and 18th and could barely play a game I spent 75 euro on. Ridiculous.

    Forced micro transactions for a game o already paid 90 dollars for, on top of not being able to sell cars i earned and/or purchased is insanity. Not to mention an update that made the races worth even less credits. The fact i grinded for hours to buy a 3 million credit car. Got to the dealership and the car was no longer 3 million. It was 3.3 million now. Back to grinding because we artificially jacked up the price. So here's your options grind another 2 hrs or pay is 5.99 and get your car now.     What a shame they've ruined this already. Gameplay is really fun and I was initially excited to improve and play online. Microtransaction are an absolute disgrace in a game I spent £70 on. Charging £160 for an in game car after a full price release is as scummy as it gets. Similar to the extortion with ships in star citizen.     Le jeux en soit est bon, le ressentie de conduite reste un peut arcade l'amélioration et le nombre de voitures est ok.
    J'aime les jeux de cours, et la pour moi partir dernier a 1km du 1er est inacceptable. J'ai juste l'impression de dépassé des retardataires !

    Good driving sim held back by stupid always online elements. The servers have been down all day and you can’t do anything except a pointless arcade race. You can’t even view your cars! The rewards system is terrible too, pretty much everyone is 5k credit. The car roster is very poor compared to the completion. It looked good for the critics, after which the basic economy of the game was completely overhauled into bringing ACTUAL MONEY into the game. The critics reviewed one game, and everyone else got the other one. It is incredibly saddening that not even video games are safe from investor/speculator greed, and that Mr. Yamauchi thinks James or Cameron Glickenhaus is the average Gran Turismo player. I can hardly believe that the working class could be priced out of A VIDEO GAME, yet here we are... Unless Sony/Polyphony Digital/Kaz actually starts listening to its players, this surely a sign as any that Gran Turismo will end here, when hubris allows its creators to defend such blighted tactics. KazYam fiddles while his Rome burns, I guess? Looks like my 25 years of playing games in the franchise have given me the same brutal end as a nasty divorce.     Ce n'est pas normal de faire une telle mise à jour qui handicap autant les joueurs et c'est également grave qu'on ne puisse pas jouer lorsque les serveurs sont down.

    C'est une honte cette mise à jour. Je ne comprends pas que payer un jeu au prix fort nous oblige encore à payer plus pour des contenus que l'on devait avoir dès le début. Où sont passés la nostalgie des jeux vidéo ou l'on avait tout dès le début. Le jeu est quand même à 80 € ce n'est pas un free to play

    我只是想从其中感受到驾驶的乐趣，但游戏给我的却是漫长且挫折感极大的游戏体验。 游戏中的车比起GT Sports毫无新增，游戏体验异常糟糕，拟真也比不过神力科莎。 感谢这个游戏，让我能更好地去享受Forza Horizon 5，那才是最棒的赛车游戏。    RUBBISH！！！

    I brought the original Gran Turismo for the PS1 when I was a kid, and loved that game. It was the first game I brought for the PS1 and I played it so much. I was hoping to bring back fond memories, but instead I'm left annoyed. The bad news is it feels like the game is out to grab as much money from the player as possible. The game itself    The graphics and driving are brilliant.

    I brought the original Gran Turismo for the PS1 when I was a kid, and loved that game. It was the first game I brought for the PS1 and I played it so much. I was hoping to bring back fond memories, but instead I'm left annoyed.

    The bad news is it feels like the game is out to grab as much money from the player as possible. The game itself wasn't cheap. You can't sell cars to make money, so I'm instead left with a garage full of cars I don't want.

    The one car I wanted to get was the McLaren F1. I've just seen its 20 million credits. I don't think I'll ever win that many credits, and if I was to buy the credits through the playstation store that would be £159.90. £159.90 for a single car! This is insane. I will never buy ANY credits for this game. It wasn't a free game, it was expensive.

    I'll be selling the game soon unless they sort their act out.    … Expand

    The prices of cars don't make sense, as the limited time to purchase some of them. It's impossible to enjoy a race, you start them 40s behind the leader and you have to pursue slower cars. That's not racing. Fix the starts, we want the grid and the option to classify first back.

    I love buying physical games for collection, but this game doesn't have any value physically because it needs to be connected to the internet to use it. This inconvenience could be fixed in a future update, but the physical version 1.0 is condemned.

    Este juego tiene microtransacciones exageradas y no se siente como un dlc de granturismosport en ves de un gran turismo nuevo, no aprovecha el gran potencial de ps5 y está muy por detrás de otros referentes gráficos como fh5 además de tener coneccion permanente sin sentido ya que la mayoría de modo is ofline

    The economy is not fun, the roulette hits on 5k MUCH more than the odds suggest, AI is surprisingly dumb, offline mode too limited, and the push up spend real money is far too strong and cheapens any sense of accomplishment.

    Sony just pushed a new update which made this game worse. They are pushing gamers to buy microtransaction. you cant get the refund because its not cyberpunk its Sony game and they will not do it to themselves. DONT BUY IT NOT WORTH IT AFTER THE UPDATE.

Underneath the despicable introduction of micro transactions which makes some cars cost over £200 of REAL MONEY and the always online system bringing load times to a snails pace along with the other rubbish that it bring it has the potential to be an amazing racing game. But considering the micro transactions were introduced just after the reviews came out just so they could get a good score and get their money and also the updates which have cut the race winnings to further push consumers to pay more money on top of the £70 they had already forked out, not only that with the servers always down for maintenance you can’t even play the game most of the time, even the single player because of it being always online. As it stands, I can’t recommend this shady game.… Expand

    This is hands down the best GT ever, and the best driving sim that I have played. The main point of this game is racing, both off line and on line. Driving Nordschleife with Gr 3 cars or formulas to beat your own best lap time, or competing against other enthusiasts. It seems that a lot people a giving a critique about microtransactions, but you do not need them to progress and enjoy the game.

    Gran Turismo 7 tiene todo lo mejor que tuvo Gran Turismo Sport con respecto al Online y su modo competitivo, con todo lo mejor que ofrecieron los primeros GT en cuanto a campaña, no solo es el mejor simulador de autos en el mercado sino también de los mejores juegos de carros y en general uno de los mejores juegos que han aparecido en el mercado, vale completamente la pena.

They even made a gambling mini game designed to entice you to drop your own money for the prizes while offering highly expensive cars with time limits to purchase. It's grubby and under-handed.     I bought PS5 for this game and now I regret.

    Recent economics changes and explaination from Polyphony director are making this game a total scam. This is totally unacceptable!

    could I get a refund ? how can the latest update changed the price of cars ? is it ethical to do so ? Sony asked you to buy the game, set out the rules, and all of sudden, they changed the rules afterwards, and you have no way to get a refund ! Shame on you SONY !

    It honestly pains me to rate such a beloved game such a low score, but this is what we have to do to invoke change from greedy corporations like Sony. It's a shame 7 doesn't hold a candle to previous entries. I truly hope things change and Gran Turismo can return to it's former glory. But until that happens, it's 0 stars.

Finally came up and its a huge microtransaction grab... pay for this, pay for that... wtf this isnt a free game, why should I HAVE to pay to play after spending 70 bucks? This is so bad it borders on fraud, first time I every hated a GT game and wish to god I would have read these reviews first.

Cars that you easily get in other racing games can be charged 100 actual USD in GT7, no way to play almost all of its single player components offine, patching out races that gives more reward than they intended. It's a good game when the servers are online, but it's not worth the time and money required.

Withholding micro transaction plans from reviewers before their reviews went out: reducing all race costs by over 50%, so you have more incentive to buy credits with real money; boring campaign mode in the cafè; no events as fun ways to make credits; ridiculous pricing on cars; barely gettingI never write reviews, but needed to state my opinion to warn people. You are also gonna have to spend LOADS of money on tuning and maintenance if you want to be competitive online, or make your cars fun, which is ridiculous. I've spent more money tuning than I have actually buying cars...

    The roulete system is definitely rigged as well. I've completed all 39 cafè's and have done many daily workouts, and have not gotten anything other than $10,000 or $5,000 credits. 95% of the time I get that, and the other 5% I've gotten a new engine or new muffler... I've never won any of the big prizes

    If you wanna continue talking about bad fan service, their servers were down for 24 hours, and they never gave anyone a free gift, as a "sorry you couldn't play this $80 game you just bought." They could've at least given us a free roulette (even though I'd probably win only 5,000 credits). That's time I could've spent making credits to saving up for their absurd pricing for tuning, maintenance and cars.

    Some positives is that it is a very fun game. The racing feel is awesome, the cars and tracks look incredible, the sounds of the vehicles is great, and the menu layout is very nice; however, the major annoyances ruin this game to the point where I don't even wanna play it anymore; we play video games like Gran Turismo because we cannot afford these cars in the real world; now, thanks to poly/sony, I can't even afford cars in a video game... creating realworld prices in a video game, and making it so difficult, grindy and boring to make credits, is NOT the way to go, and is not fair for people who can't just fork money over to pay for a competitive car to use that week, or to use a car they've always dreamed of owning, or to just collect and try all the great cars the game has to offer. There are cars in GT sport that you could buy for $3, that you now have to buy for $40 in GT7??? How does that even make any sense???

    There is also some BAD track exploits and penalty systems online. Can't even count how many times I've been rammed, and I'm the one who gets the penalty because I couldn't stop myself from hitting the barrier... Then I just see the other player go off, sometimes free from penalties, or with only a 2 second penalty. Meanwhile, I'm completely out of the race, now...

    Don't even get me started on GT music rally; it's stupid, boring and no one wanted it.

    I couldn't put this game down at all for a week straight. After 1.07/1.08 I don't even want to boot it up anymore. Always online was a TERRIBLE choice. Microtransactions was a TERRIBLE choice. GT was always a grind but my god... it was pretty bad before the update. After the update... by far the most grindy GT ever. Or you could pay $200 real money for a single car. Sounds awesome. Thanks.

    It’s a nice game over all, astonishing graphics and a nice “campaign” in the first hours, but most of the cars are pretty expensive, and nicer cars are a lot more expensive, and it’s ridiculous the amount of credits you get in each event, it’s literally unfair how the game pushes you to buy credits, that only thing makes the game not enjoyable.

    They also added an invitation system to get certain cars from certain brands which isnt that bad and on paper actually sounds pretty good. How these invites work is that you get one each 2 weeks but they also expire after those 2 weeks so you are forced to grind for those cars or else you'll need to wait god knows how long until you get another invitation for that brand of cars but with how micro transactions are forced down your throat this just feels like another way to make you buy more credits which just gets me mad.
    Apart from that, i loved this game and had a load of fun but im just really pissed at how they went about doing micro transactions    … Expand

    Basically forced microtransactions if you want anything higher end if you can't set aside hours, if not days, of your life to dedicate to them. Always online garbage that renders the game useless if the servers go down (which they have) with a borderline offensive "sorry" message trying to justify said microtransactions.

    I get the whole collection thing, but half the fun of these games was building a collection YOU personally like. Forced to do menu races to get cars ill use 3 times max, never use or modify and they just sitt collecting dust. Just put a checkmark in my book that I had it and let me sell it. Could have bought multiple cars I actually WANTED by this point.

    If we could just have an option to sell our cars rather than "remove" them. I feel everyone would be alot happier.

    Many missing makes and models compared to six. I was excited to see my Stagea again... guess I should've looked at the car list before purchasing, oh well. That however, leads me to beleive there will be a bunch of expansion content. Which is cool, but 90% of it is probably going to cause you to remortgage your home to afford the cars...

    Some cars that were in sport, now cost 10x what they did in that game. Get ready to spend 200$ if you don't have the time to dedicate to it. Because you won't have any fun online. All the lower PP lobbies that "race for fun" have 2 people driving against the line up ruining the races and any higher one are just Hyper cars that demolish anything that isnt near their level.

    Not to mention slort had 125 or so cars, GT7 has a little over 400. Gt6 had over 1000... and I know some of them were just varying trim levels. Still a massive margin for this onsole generation.

    Seems myself and everyone else I've talked to feels the roulette cars are a joke or rigged. Before you even fully regist what you could win you automatically seem to ALWAYS get less than 10k credits from them. Absolute dissapointment. Just press the button get up, walk away, get a drink or snack because by the time your back you'll have a "WOW congratulations! Here's 5000 credits!" Majorly disappointed with this. I know alot of people are review bombing it, just cause. But, in my opinion, I would say either wait untill its fleshed out and we have the option to sell unwanted cars and the always online is gone (which I know won't happen), or get this at a massive discount.     The insane micro transactions and always online just to play the game in single player is complete BS. Honourable mentions also include the rigged roulette system for engine swaps which was a feature everyone was looking forward to.

    Can't play single player unless you're online. Latest updates nerfed so many of the most profitable races. Lackluster cafe (career) mode. Can't sell cars. Ridiculous grinding needed even more now to buy the top cars and upgrades. Roulette for random prizes seems to 99% of the time grant the lowest valued item/credit amount.     It's a shame these days that game companies are just so dam greety and don't give a **** about their community.

    High quality visuals, low quality sales tactics. Its scummy to nerf race payouts after the game has released, and been highly praised by critics. This isn't the same game they reviewed.

    Gran Turismo 7 has a lot of good and plenty of great. The use of DualSense and the particularly well-tuned loading is exemplary, and there's a huge amount of work behind the game, with a lot of detail that's almost hard to believe at times. [Issue#318]

    Gran Turismo 7 brings to the tracks every single thing fans always wanted: the GT Mode everyone loves, plenty of customization options, car loads, classic scenarios and one of the best DualSense and 3D Audio experiences the PS5 has to offer. This is the best Gran Turismo experience we have ever seen in a long time.

    Gran Turismo 7 is a love letter to motorsport history and an impeccable technical showcase. The franchise's traditional formula gets good improvements, but it's still extremely true to its roots. One of the best racing series ever shines spectacularly on the PS5.
