    Expensive cars, when you spin the gift card you already know which price you will get (the lowest one), hard to complete gold level races so the fun is also gone. Graphics are good and that's why I still give it a 2. If someone is interested in this game you can buy mine cause I don't like it

    As with all GT titles the gameplay, AI and graphics continue to improve with each iteration. As we have seen with many other games, greed has taken over every other aspect of the game.     Nobody ever wanted a real car price simulator, the game cost 70 USD! It should came with a complete rooster of Cars! It is not aceptable to have all the vehicles locked by a paywall of an insane amount of credits. It is crazy that you have to play for 300 hours only to get one exclusive car, by that moment rveryone would be bored of plsying the same track over snd over.     I love this game.
    Un juego que prometía, con coches, calidad, gráficos, circuitos y lo que estaba por venir, justo cuando los medios de comunicación publicaron los análisis, decieron en PlayStation mostrar su verdadera cara. El juego está roto, desde el último update han bajado el valor de las recompensas de una forma brutal para que haya que pasar por caja si o si.

    The gameplay itself is amazing, car handling is excellent. The feature that completely destroyed this game for me, is the greedy micro transactions and the deceitful practices. They deliberately disabled micro transactions on review copies thus boosting review scores, then weeks after launch almost halved all the racing    Pre-ordered this game, trusted Sony to deliver a great game.

    The gameplay itself is amazing, car handling is excellent. The feature that completely destroyed this game for me, is the greedy micro transactions and the deceitful practices. They deliberately disabled micro transactions on review copies thus boosting review scores, then weeks after launch almost halved all the racing rewards and almost doubled the vehicle price tags. Now it's a complete grind to progress through the game, and I am done with it. $125CAD down the drain..

    Yet once again, as with BF2042, got played with the pre-order. Never again will pre-order anything, not even from Sony it looks like.    … Expand

    Dissapointed is an understatement. Online only, Gamecore feels very true to the Series in general, but rewardmechanics and overall grind make this Iteration literally no fun at all. Not to mention downtime with no access to the Game during Maintenanceperiods. Shift and focus towards solely predatory MTX's enhance the overall lackluster and moot career experience (jeez, remember GT4?). GameDissapointed is an understatement.     Bring back the career mode, bring back single player experience (always online is garbage!) or give me my money back. I feel I've been completely misled on what this game actually is.

    This game was one of the reasons I wanted a Ps5. Now that I have it, I wish i had never purchased either.

    Between the game being down, the microtransactions, and not being able to progress past a certain point, this game makes me wish i could return it.

    I’ve clocked in an in game time of 160+ hours since launch according to my profile stats.

    To be honest, the game was just barely acceptable for the first two weeks before update 1.07. I didn’t felt it was that bad at that time. The grind to get new car was already long enough at that time but I was convincing myself that it was perfectly normal since most GT games are like that. After    I’ve clocked in an in game time of 160+ hours since launch according to my profile stats.

    After update 1.07/1.08, I felt the pain and longer grind time that I didn’t feel like continuing the game even though I’m already at 97% trophy and one more last trophy to platinum the game. The game has gone from acceptable to a **** hell hole thanks to SONY and PD for being greedy. If they continue on with this after update 1.09. They’ll continue to lose the numbers of players and the game will die off pretty soon.    … Expand

    Few days ago game servers went offline and extended "maintenance" period has been going for over 24 hours locking out all of the gamers from accessing Single Player component of this game.     I bought the game on release, it had many problems but since this was the same in gt sport 5 years ago i could forgive them for that. What i cant forgive them for is their incredible and unbelievable greed.
    They added microtransactions, made everything incredbly expensive and they reduced credits that players could earn without spending money.     18 million credits for a single ride? Guess I'll never drive that car along with 85% of the other cars in the game as I'm not spending anything more than the $70 already spent. Got to the point in the game that i have to spend $120K+ to upgrade my ride to be competitive, only to win 15% of those credits back. Oh, and thanks for the low roulette winnings -- usually 5K in credits or some18 million credits for a single ride?     DO NOT BUY, cash grab made so clear with the last update. Sony had a bs statment after the 30hr blackout update, which halfed payouts making grinding for currency painful.
    I hope to god people just stop playing and not be fools paying over 180$ worth of micro transactions for a single car. Godspeed gamers

    Really enjoyed at first, then they tried to suck my bank account dry, they've made all the cars too expensive and the credit rewards couldn't be lower. All they care about is micro-transactions and they have actually ruined the game themselves. Shame because it has potential to be the best racing game out there.

    Apart from that, there are many xbox fake accounts downvoting this for obvious reasons. Don't believe the overall scores. Just try this    This game is amazing. Best GT ever. GT7 basicly is a pretty solid game: Great graphics, realistic car handling, great sound etc. but personaly I'm overhelmed by the downsides tbh: Always on with no chance to play the game without inet connection, is SOOO frustrating - for an actuall singleplayer game! When you loose the wifi for couple of seconds you're gonna kicked out of most of the parts of the gameThey (Sony) ruined it.     Gran Turismo 7 gets a 1, and not a 0, because if we are honest the actual driving in the game is amazing.

    However, let's all agree to call a spade a spade. The microtransaction structure of GT7 is nothing less than predatory. About as anti-consumer as this industry has ever seen, and I know EA exists, so I am not saying that lightly. Sony is all about being "for the players" and one of their tent-pole, marquee IPs charges MORE THAN THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE OF THEIR AAA GAME for a single in-game item (any of the Legends cars)? With some in-game items costing hundreds of real world dollars in microtransactions to acquire??? The EXACT SAME in-game items that, in the previous iteration of this series, cost no more than (I think) $5????? A stunningly, jaw-droppingly short sighted cash grab with their eyes only on short term profits, not the long term health of the franchise and it's very dedicated player base. PD talks about users needing to take a long-term view of this game, but where the hell is the same behavior from PD? How could anyone there honestly expect consumers to swallow this level of raw, naked greed and not openly revolt, review bombing this game into the shadow realm? All I can do is shake my head in amazement.

    Then PD comes along after getting their initial glowing reviews and nerfs payouts of a vast majority of races, which can ONLY be ascribed to a desire to push users even more towards microtransactions. There is absolutely no other logical reason that can be given for this change - credit acquisition was already waaayyy too slow relative to the "realistic" car and parts pricing in this game, prior to 1.07.

    All the microtransaction shenanigan's aside, there are (for me) two other glaring errors here:
    1) always online for a mostly single player game (no.....just, no.....didn't Sony famously rip Xbox for always online?), and 2) I assume "forgetting" to include, you know, an actual single player campaign/career mode like in all previous main-line entries in the franchise. You know, with increasingly difficult series and championships you work your way through as you build out and upgrade your car collection. The core of the franchise, if you will.

    No lie - I thought the "cafe" mode was just the introduction portion of the game, and once I got through it I would find the actual career mode I remembered so fondly from past entries.

    I mean, what in the actual f&*%? How did this get screwed up so badly, so quickly? How did no one at PD or Sony stop and say "You know, maybe we shouldn't charge $200 worth of microtransactions for the exact same car that we charge $5 in GT Sport" or "You know, maybe there should be something structured for the single player folks to do AFTER completing the rather limited and linear cafe menus", or even "You know, we roasted the crap out of Micro$oft for making Xbox always online, so maybe it is a little too hypocritical for us to make this single player game always online, too".

    It supposedly fun game, and since the upgrade all the difficulties are not making any sense. How it possible that AI cars from rank 3 to 14 are pretty slow and not to mention that they've been programmed to blocking our way, but for the 1st and 2nd are fast as hell and impossible to overtake? Unbelievable.

    Players have had enough of paying full price for a game that is clearly designed to force you to pay for micro transactions.
    Either release it free and be up front about pay to win or just release a full game (with optional packs you dont need to buy to win).
    Look at the failure or more recent EA titles and the success of Games like Elden Ring.

    Grew up playing Gran Turismo, starting with GT3 on my dad's PS2. The series has always held a special place with me. Such a shame that they've so blatantly fallen to the trappings of corporate greed.
    The biggest shame is its so easy to fix;
    1. Increase race payouts 2. Make single player available offline 3.     UPD. Thanks for the refund :) After the patch with income nerf I'm really happy with my money returned back. Grind    So many years of waiting and all for nothing.     The quality graphic , Particulary the environnement are neighbour PS4. Parallax effect, texture low quality while the PS5 taking hit.

    I cant even play the game most of the time due to severs being down for maintenance and it being always online and the microtranscations £30+ for one car!

    It's a shame, the golden days are over. No more grinding for credits and selling cars to buy parts and new cars. It's all about micro transactions. Oh and you can play a single player racing game unless the servers are up. Bummer.

    Le service de micro transaction est une honte pour un jeu qui coûte déjà cher a l'achat. Les voitures sont hors de prix et les récompenses en courses dérisoires.
    Je proteste contre ce genre de pratique et c'est dommage car le jeu en lui même a énormément de qualité, j'espère que le tir sera rectifier

    unfortunately GT7 fall foul in a few areas, namely the absence of being able play single player offline, the microtransactions in a premium-priced games is concerning and a trend that needs to end

    Les graphisme n'ont pas évolué depuis gt sport, la difficulté monte de manière exponentielle de manière à te forcer à acheter un volant pour dosé tes freinages et accélération, de plus l'économie du jeu est devenue éclater pour forcer à acheter leurs packs d'argent. Très déçu de ce dernier !

    Uma pena o caminho que os games estão seguindo, EA, Rockstar etc que além de cobrar preço cheio nos jogos, quase 400 reais no PS5 e ainda cheio de microtransações para adquirir conteúdo.

    I just drove a 20 minutes race, but because my internet is crack the game lost connection after the race and nothing has saved. In combination with the low credits you get for the races the whole game sucks and doesn't make fun. Thank you for nothing Polyphony digital/Sony!

    $40 for a dlc of one car?!?!! Unacceptable. Even though the driving mechanics are great, the micro transactions are effing stupid. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME.

    Being generous because I loved the quality of the gameplay / graphics / sound. Microtransactions were already bad enough before they nerfed the prize money. My friend bought the game during maintenance and still hasn't played it get due to that downtime too. He deleted it after reading about it.

Biggest disappointment is the inability to Sell Your Cars so you have the money to upgrade your garage or buy the cars that you want. Graphics are NOT as they were advertised, and the music is Horrible. Then the microtransactions that come with this game are a Joke! I guess we didn't pay enough forPure Disappointment! That is disgusting and absurd. It's a FULL PRICE game and there shouldn't be ANY microtransactions at all. Sony's greed is disgusting. Im glad the gamers are uniting against this absurdity.     The game has limited events with a short campaign , now with the latest patch existing races pay less and MTX is now the only real way to obtain cars it goes against everything GT was all about ! Greedy corporations ruin everything.

    Gran Turismo 7 has a lot of good and plenty of great. The use of DualSense and the particularly well-tuned loading is exemplary, and there's a huge amount of work behind the game, with a lot of detail that's almost hard to believe at times. [Issue#318]

    Gran Turismo 7 brings to the tracks every single thing fans always wanted: the GT Mode everyone loves, plenty of customization options, car loads, classic scenarios and one of the best DualSense and 3D Audio experiences the PS5 has to offer. This is the best Gran Turismo experience we have ever seen in a long time.

    Gran Turismo 7 is a love letter to motorsport history and an impeccable technical showcase. The franchise's traditional formula gets good improvements, but it's still extremely true to its roots. One of the best racing series ever shines spectacularly on the PS5.
