    Look this game showed promise immediately on launch. Then the 30+ hour outage came along a week after launch, where no one could play anything except Arcade and Music Track races. Please remove the always online nature of this game, and like many others have said - remove the ridiculous micro transactions.

    When servers are online and functional, Gran Turismo 7 is a triumph of the racing genre. There's a lot to love with its chilled out atmosphere in its campaign, a plethora of control options, and a vast number of cars to collect. Throw in impeccable production values and visuals, and you have one of the best racing games ever.     Love the game. Would definitely recommend to any car fan great game. The down time and ways of making money made people down vote this game buy since the update and future updates it's a great game

    One of the best racing games there ever is, im enjoying the car collection, the smooth satisfying driving and the amount of detail there is in this game and now with Polyphony fixing the rewards issue, its going to be even better than it is right now, i highly reccommend this game for car enthusiasts and for everybody really who want to have a blast competing for 1st place

    I paid 70 Euros for a game that is playable just on-line. Polyphony needs to fix this immediately due to respect for his fan base and users. Fix the offline mode. We all feel cheated. GT7 became no more than one of those mobile games that are playable juts on-line; the only difference is that to play those game you don't have to pay in advance 80 Euro.     Personally the game is pure joy to play, good mehanics, good graphics with great details on the car and overall nice design of game.
    I'm glad that they put tuning and customisation back and with that they bought me immediatly.

    I’m really disappointed in this latest step with the series. They now want the most amount of money possible from you for the worst experience. Every gran turismo game prior has been more fun, more complete, more rewarding. This game is visually amazing and the real kicker is that everything they need to be a good game is right there in it but $70 isn’t good enough for them.     I got this game on launch day. I though it was cool enough. I like the whole idea of it. But I never spend money in-game - in any game. And it wasn't too bad. I have maybe 6 hours in it in total so far.

    Then they push an update to make it impossible for a casual player to ever drive 90% of the cars - after everyone has played it so that you can no longer get a refund.     Overall a great game! I'm still missing some things from the previous releases, but I'm keeping fingers crossed there will be updates giving this game a longer life span.

    We loved GT series because we could finally afford those luxurious cars that we would never have a chance to drive in the real world. However, GT7 is forcing us to spend either a huge amount of money or hours and days buying a car. This is just nuts.

    These micro transactions are insane!! I already paid 80 dollars for the deluxe edition. Now I have to paid $40 for cars and more money to upgrade the car. I work a very hard manual labor job 7 days a week, I can't justify trading the time it took me to earn that money to buy digital cars. Just let me earn them through racing in a reasonable amount of time.

    The best racing Sim ever. It feels very realistic and it is so much fun to tune your car. It also sounds very good. I recommend this game to everyone who loves cars.

    Over the last couple of weeks there have been some massive up and downs for Gran Turismo, however, people have shared their concerns and I think the developers, for once have listened. The game itself has been killer, but the whole pay to play aspect was one of the biggest scams ever. The latest announcement had got me excited that it's all back on track

    I was very excited to return to the franchise. I like the feel of the game. However I am very disappointed by the way the game pushes micro transactions. It ruins the game for me. I will not buy any game that promintly features them. Certainly I will not buy micro transactions in GT7 no matter what!

    so fun, feels a little more forgiving than past games, so kinda arcadey but loads of fun, I'm racing all the time i can get in and the AI can be challenging and testy, amazing car graphics, obviously environments are lacking in detail and fidelity but that's gran turismo for ya what u expect it ain't gta but that great lighting in the game helps, use it with a wheel and let er rip

    Think something, not only a downtime, you bought a product any consumer one and in order to use it you need the companys approval to do so. What if the company shuts down its operations. im not purchasing the product im actually renting it. But I got a purchase receipt of a product not of a service.     Literally unplayable as its been down for more than 30+ hours. It's more unplayable as you have tk spend hundreds of dollars just for 1 car or spend hundreds of hours replaying the same map for a measly amount of credits.

    Difficult to buy the few nice cars the game has, the money rewards are low. There are more than 400 cars, but most of them are old and boring. It looks like after patch 1.07 they want you to buy the cars with real money. I have WiFi disconnecting some times, and when it happens, I lose all the race progress or the championship. We need offline play!!

    I am a long time fan of the Gran Turismo Franchise. I love the game, this can be patched to turn into a 10/10 game, but can't stand for the current in game currency.
    Edit: As of the latest patch, I appreciate the direction the game is going. Will leave it as a solid 8

    I've enjoyed playing it with both a dualshock 4 and also a thrustmaster t150 steering wheel.

    The point about the always online stuff is still true though, blegh.

    ZERO communication during maintenance that has laster over 24 hours (at time of writing) more than scheduled.
    Terrible payouts to pressure players into spending real money (over 330 races/20 hours griding for a single high-cost car?!) which they made worse after the initial sales window, which just feels like a scummy move to make the most of early sales/critic reviews, then pull the rug out from under people.
    The game was fun, you just can't play it and when you can you can't play with any of those cars you dreamed of owning unless you want to spend real money or have a ridiculous amount of gaming time.
    Poor showing from a franchise that I previously had a lot of respect for.    … Expand

Multiple races I was holding the lap record and cannot somehow get anywhere near the first 3 places. Cannot play this game without being connected to the internet. Game broken for 30 hours. Game appears to abruptly end out of nowhere. There are 6 classes of licenses, 3 of which the game only uses as challenges, which do not unlock further content which makes no sense. Daily mileage requirement to get a reward which is often very little is complete trash. Microtransactions for credits, when most races offer very little credits, and the ones that do have ridiculous amounts of laps. Game patches out high credits races and exploits. All of this completely tarnishes the experience, making me not want to play it again. Honestly beat all content in maybe 24hrs of gameplay. No formula racing, or meaningful game modes that aren't just annoying. Formula racing offers multi-millions of "credits" when an athlete wins, so the low credits is just complete bs. Sport Mode takes TOO LONG to match. Many achievements are arbitrary or ask you to do ridiculous amount of repetition which it obviously expects due to the low credit count per win. Wow. Do not buy, honestly just play Gran Turismo 3 on an emulator its the best one. Some of the cars are timed buys and literally sell out. How can you get all the cars with such mechanics without just spending hundreds on credits?… Expand

    Always have blind requirement to play a single player game. Disgusting.
    I won’t go over the usual issues that everyone has already covered- except to say ‘agreed’
    I know 1.09 will lead towards fixing some of the other issues, but always online HAS TO GO.

    I didn’t pay $120 to have a game I can only play if I have internet AND Sony have servers online.

    Where on the box or in digital description does it say this game can ONLY be played if you have an internet connection? Whether playing online or offline modes....there is no offline! Don't make the same mistake I did and skip this game...HARD!!

    I have been waiting for a gran turismo game for years, even since sport I anticipated what gran turismo 7 would look like, however microtransactions? Always online needed? Even UPDATING the game to make payouts LOWER??? I still love the game but I cannot give any score due to these issues, this most likely isn't Yamuchis fault aswelk, it smells of sony corporatism and being out of touch

    Yet another grind heavy, cash stingy racing sim from Polyphony.

    Poly just don't get it, we don't want to grind for days on end just to win some small measly pittance amount of cash.

    Don't forget the Always Online issue, we all saw how that can end when the servers went down, plus it $ucks for off-line solo users.

    GT7 already had an issue with credits being hard to come by, but now they've reduced payouts even further? No thanks. I doubt I'll buy the next one, especially when GT isn't as special as it used to be.

    Hugely disappointing. It's too similar to Gran Turismo Sport, the events are poor and the in game economics are a disgrace (although better after 1.09). Also the offline gameplay is a complete joke.

    Beautiful looking game great physics and now there increasing payouts in april and adding the ability to sell cars and adding endurance races solid 10/10 well worth the money a must buy for anyone who likes racing games

The in-game economy is terrible they give you Pennie’s and want you to pay tens of millions. Game drives very nicely and looks gorgeous.     The game is always online, heavily reliant on microtransactions, harder grinding, expensive cars

    Money absorber game, if you get your money without any efforts, this will be the right place to spent your money.
    Also, GT7 is GTSport Directory's cut, nothing new, many dialogs, long trailers in the begening, and poor gameplay

    Gran Turismo 7 has a lot of good and plenty of great. The use of DualSense and the particularly well-tuned loading is exemplary, and there's a huge amount of work behind the game, with a lot of detail that's almost hard to believe at times. [Issue#318]

    Gran Turismo 7 brings to the tracks every single thing fans always wanted: the GT Mode everyone loves, plenty of customization options, car loads, classic scenarios and one of the best DualSense and 3D Audio experiences the PS5 has to offer. This is the best Gran Turismo experience we have ever seen in a long time.

    Gran Turismo 7 is a love letter to motorsport history and an impeccable technical showcase. The franchise's traditional formula gets good improvements, but it's still extremely true to its roots. One of the best racing series ever shines spectacularly on the PS5.
