    So glad I didn't purchase this game! Play at friend's house and also read a lot of the user reviews here and sorry Sony if this is going to be your new game model you can go F yourselves.
    $70 for the standard or $90 for the deluxe and approximately $20 per car if you don't want to grind for countless hours.

    So lucky I didnt buy it, sometimes if you wait you can see the reality, I almost bought The 25th version in Brazil, and here The price is almost 50% of the base salary, Im glad and sad at the same time, I was expecting a new GT with the nostalgic features, offline and without transactions

    Prize Gift alway worst reward. Pay tons of real money to get desired cars. Ingame credit farm takes way (!) too long, so you are somewhat forced to spend money... or better: play another game until they change this.

    Nothing that already hasn't been said, micro transactions and more importantly always online ruin this game, also single player mode is awful to get through, a total drag. This should have been great, the racing actually is but they ruined it.

    The biggest issue the game has is being online only with very limited options for off-line I can’t even use my cars that I’ve paid for offline.     Was enjoying the thought of an honest racing game with no micro transactions when I watched reviews and pre-ordered. Now it has microtransaction and they completely ruined any feisable means of grinding to acquire some of the better cars. I thought playstation would be better.     There is no word to express my disappointment with this game. Everyone waited for a nice nostalgic experience or maybe a better game than an 18 year old PS2 game but no. It had to be messed up with lack of new content (circa 80% is from GT Sport) and with the GRIND for full fat 70 USD. This game should be called Grind Turismo 7. Always online single player, so we don't cheat but all theThere is no word to express my disappointment with this game.     The nostalgia is here. Despite the "map" getting quite boring after a while. Excellent handling model and graphics. Finally updated sounds (especially in the tires) Car collector you are NOT. your cars are only dictated by the cafe book. What cars you earn and what order. I believe most players car collection will be almost identical. If you want to buy    In short do NOT buy it yet!

    Car collector you are NOT. your cars are only dictated by the cafe book. What cars you earn and what order. I believe most players car collection will be almost identical.

    If you want to buy cars FORGET it. you either grind till it bores you to death, or you spend an absurd amount of REAL world money to buy a car:
    - wins provide you "cents" as prize money
    - no selling cars
    - the randomized gifts are ALWAYS the least amount of money the gift can give you
    - Ridiculously expensive cars.

    A sad excuse of it's former self. Just go play forza. Coming from a fan since GT2 !!    … Expand

Sony is no better than EA I was loving the game until update 1.7 hit and now I could care less about it. It's not worth my time. I don't play pay to win games.     3. Mtx and you have to grind over 25 hours for an exotic car oder vash in over 200 dollars for 1 car.. sooo greedy...we paid for this title .. its not a free to play mobile game..its so embarrising

    The mechanics of the game are fantastic. Driving feels great, hitting the turns right feels very satisfying, and not to mention the graphics being really something to admire on next gen consoles. Unfortunately with the recent update, the game feels VERY grindy to obtain the higher end cars. I was lucky enough to grind for a good amount of money pre-update to get the majority of the cars IThe mechanics of the game are fantastic.     GT7 is excellent. To all the review bombs... Dude it was down for part of a day and the microtransactions aren't shoved down your throat. Get over yourselves and enjoy the game. Graphics and gameplay is amazing.

Everything in the game is made with the purpose of forcing you to buy game credits with real money. You can’t even sell the cars you win anymore, as you could in previous games. Already bad event cash rewards were reduced even more (reduced 50%), making itGran Turismo fan ever since the first one. Bought GT7 on the first day. Micro-transactions once again kill a very promising game. Everything in the game is made with the purpose of forcing you to buy game credits with real money. You can’t even sell the cars you win anymore, as you could in previous games. Already bad event cash rewards were reduced even more (reduced 50%), making it nearly impossible to buy 1 legendary car unless you grind/repeat the same event more than 300 times. I get it that they wanted to make the cars acquisition feel rare/special, but making the earnings extremely slow and unbalanced is not the way. Micro-transactions should be an option, not a demand. Sony/Polyphony, either shift your focus from Micro-transactions to your fans, or lose a fan forever.… Expand

    Физика в GT7 сделала заметный скачек, это круто(если в двух словах после GT7, GTS кажется аркадой для меня).
    Графон кто бы что не говорил стал лучше и это замечаешь, когда долго играешь в GT7 потом включаешь GTS и видишь реально разницу: освещение, тени, разрешение выше, детализацию трека подтянули, про смену времени суток и динамическую погоду я вообще молчу.
    Что ешё меня порадовало,    Физика в GT7 сделала заметный скачек, это круто(если в двух словах после GT7, GTS кажется аркадой для меня).
    Графон кто бы что не говорил стал лучше и это замечаешь, когда долго играешь в GT7 потом включаешь GTS и видишь реально разницу: освещение, тени, разрешение выше, детализацию трека подтянули, про смену времени суток и динамическую погоду я вообще молчу.
    Что ешё меня порадовало, дак это прокачали звуки, они стали более натуральнее, звуки переключения передач, прострелы из выхлопной трубы.
    Так же порадовали функции "Dualsense", очень круто сделано, вибрация будто ощущаешь все 4 колеса, то есть ты заранее знаешь если тебя вот вот занесёт например. Адаптивные триггеры тоже делают своё дело, сопротивление при торможение и при нажатие газа очень информативны.
    ИИ подтянули, по началу конечно легко, но дальше бывают гонки где приходиться попотеть, главное, что они щас хотя бы могут ехать быстро, а то в GTS вообще очень овощные были(кстати софи - (продвинутый искусственный интеллект) - ещё не добавили, вот когда добавят, будет хардкор).
    Порадовали порой хардкорные тесты в лицензиях и специальных испытаниях, знакомства с трассой вообще стали очень сложные.
    По поводу онлайна, порадовало, что появились гонки не полностью блокирующие все настройки и тех. характеристики машины, а ограничивающие например только максимальную мощность и минимальный вес авто, а дальше делай, что хочешь, настраивай подвеску, кпп, тормоза, аэродинамику.
    А так же бывают гонки по рейтингу производительности, то есть по мимо соотношения мощности и веса, так же на тех. рейтинг влияет какая подвеска стоит, и как она настроена, как настроена кпп, аэродинамика , а так же какие шины стоят.
    Вот теперь о минусах, это очень скудная карьера, такая короткая, блин даже гонок на выносливости нету, которые были даже в GTS, хоть и были там короткие относительно тех, что были в GT4 и GT5 например. Мне вообще по ощущениями показалось что карьера короче чем в GTS. То есть в ней банально даже меньше разнообразия в категориях машин, вам не дадут в ней по участвовать в таких Классах как Gr.1,Gr.2, на каких нить формульных болидах с открытыми колесами.
    А теперь главная проблема игры. Это конечно же явное навязывание доната, можно и без него играть получать удовольствие, так как за карьеру вы прилично выиграйте авто и почти не понадобиться покупать авто для определенных гонок. А после обновления и без того малые призовые уменьшили в два раза, да конечно где то подняли, но в основном, теперь фармить на мега дорогие легендарные машины в два раз дольше.    … Expand

The obvious lack of prize money, the microtransactions, the fact you cannot play the game offline, the bugs in the online racing, the awful pp system that works off suspension setups etc, the awful daily race management.     I don't know what all the hub bub is about. This game is addictive and so much fun! Highly recommend. If you don't like "microtransactions" then simply don't use the option, sheesh. I can see Polyphony put a lot of love into this game.

    The in game on screen characters are incredibly annoying and I personally skip all of them at every opportunity. I'm not interested in knowing Mitsubishi's history. If only they could be turned off.

    The credit payments are ridiculous considering the effort needed to race. They are clearly trying to push micro transactions and it shows when the first post release patch lowers payments.

    My only regret is buying full price. Based on this, it's not worth the money.    … Expand

But MTXs are practically required to progress in this C$80 MINIMUM game. Can't believe Polyphony would try to pull some EA levels of BS in GT7. And this isn't even going about the always online aspect! Pathetic. Can't believe I paid this much money for GT7.… Expand

    This game is cash grab, Sony and Polyphony don't care about the games and only about their pockets.
    After releasing the game, they changed it to make it harder than it already was to buy cars without quitting our jobs and playing all day or spending actual cash up $40 a car. They should be sued and boycotted for this greedy behavior.

The publishers should be embarrassed by how quality the driving can be to just be ruined by greed and a budget experience. Had the game been free, I'd not been upset, but I paid full price.     Great graphics and detail and it ends there. Short single campaign, on line connection required, can't sell cars, and terrible cr rewards. I've gotten all the GT games at launch and this will be the last one I'll ever buy/play. Thanks Polyphony and Sony for ruining my favorite game.

    Microtransactions are killing the game industry. Before developers were incentivized to create engaging and self-sustaining gameplay loops in order to attract customers to their game. Now, we see developers designing gameplay loops around mtx in a way that creates obstacles to enjoyment (usually through unreasonable time sinks) for non-mtx players. For any game this is unacceptable, for aMicrotransactions are killing the game industry.     Just to note my commitment before this games release - I bought the Fanatec GT DD wheel ($750) and a Next Level Racing F-GT cockpit ($650) to finally make the sim rig I've always wanted. Lottery tickets were a good idea, if only you could win the first or even second prizes ... But you'll only have the bottom ones...

    For those probably thinking that it does not alter the game. Sorry, but, in the long run, it does. You get frustrated and / or poorer. And the ways that you cope with that is, either you give in and pay, or you grind for hours and hours, or you stop playing... All three solutions change the way you play...

    Few people say that that developer might offer the potential DLCs that they perhaps had in mind... Don't expect that. Not gonna happen... They'd rather cancel those, than give them to their fans. if, and only if, they do something to fix it, it's only going to be temporary. Besides, Internet connection mandatory... What happens when the game dies... You've lost your money. The money for the game and for the cars you've bought, right? Right?

    Now, as final words, I must say that I have mixed feelings. If the licence continues going down the way it is, perhaps it be best if they buried it right now, on the spot... Would be easier... (Not happening though because they want your money...). And on the tomb, you wouldn't be able to read the text (the epitaph)... You'd have to pay for that...

    Beautiful game, ruined by microtransations. My fault for pre-ordering the game. Was not expected this from a PS5 exclusive, especialy one with so much tradition like Gran Turismo. You would not see this on any Forza game.

I'm not willing to spend extra money on a full price title I've been waiting for over 2 years to be released.     Game launched on 4th of march midnight, 1.08 came out just over 2 weeks and 12 hours later, so it was not refundable after the payout nerfs. Sony killed this game just after a refund gap.

    this is not accidental, this is planned, and i don't think i'll own a GT game or PlayStation again

    First, I need internet connection to play singleplayer? Makes absolutely no sense. Second, decreasing our race rewards and making cars ridiculously expensive in game just so we'll spend money on microtransactions is so slimy. To grind for one of the most expensive cars in game, it would take around 350 races to get! Do better.

    Gran Turismo 7 is a game with a great base and potential to do amazing things, but with the obvious abuse of MTX and the double standards of attempting to reduce grinding but in the same breath make the game more grindy.

    GT7 still has the opportunity to fix their issues and regain the trust and the love of the community that it created over the years.

    Disappointing.

    A game that doesn't respect its players. Your time is meaningless and your only purpose is to pay as much as possible. Lower in-game payouts, increased challenge difficulty, online only single player - almost every feature of the game is designed to maximize microtransactions.

    The recent decrease in race reward payout is a desperate attempt to make players use microtransactions to be able to buy their dream cars. "invitations to buy" certain cars within a time limit is just another example.

    Gran Turismo 7 has a lot of good and plenty of great. The use of DualSense and the particularly well-tuned loading is exemplary, and there's a huge amount of work behind the game, with a lot of detail that's almost hard to believe at times. [Issue#318]

    Gran Turismo 7 brings to the tracks every single thing fans always wanted: the GT Mode everyone loves, plenty of customization options, car loads, classic scenarios and one of the best DualSense and 3D Audio experiences the PS5 has to offer. This is the best Gran Turismo experience we have ever seen in a long time.

    Gran Turismo 7 is a love letter to motorsport history and an impeccable technical showcase. The franchise's traditional formula gets good improvements, but it's still extremely true to its roots. One of the best racing series ever shines spectacularly on the PS5.
