    I got hyped with the gameplay graphics before launch and when I finally played it got so disappointed. The graphics aren't that good, you can only play a single-player if your internet is on and an awful monetization.

    I love the driving experience of GT7. That being said I want to drive some of the best cars the game has to offer. I work a lot and go to school. The cars in the game require either a lot of time to grind or a lot of real money to buy the cars. This is very unfair Sony you broke my heart with greed. I willing to play this game for years but not decades to earn the cars I want to drive. AndI love the driving experience of GT7.     Gran Turismo is another example of how big companies are out of touch with consumers. Single player game should not require online. MTX have ruined gaming for years now. The game is beautiful and drives well, too bad they screwed it up with the nonsense.

People who are claiming to have won 12 cars and 3 engines etc are payed shills from places like soar.sh

    Last night the game went down for three hours for server maintenance, guess what, you can't do ANYTHING in the game when it's not online. Not a single, solitary thing, just a "Sorry for your luck" message from Polyphony.

    Edit: The fact that the MTX's are a thing isn't even the worst part, there's just nothing to do, and this is coming from someone who loved GTSport. It's just the same missions over and over, no diamond/ruby/emerald ranking, all the good circuits not included, it's just bunk. I'd honestly just have preferred a GTS remaster for PS5 and push GT7 until at least the console shortage is resolved. No reason to force this out now. Also, SNAP OVERSTEER SUCKS.    … Expand

    If you can't afford expensive cars in real life, you won't afford it in this game either. You already payed for the game then you have to spend a lot of real money that is even more expensive than the base game to get the cars you want. Earning them by grinding does not even net you much credits.

    My gf bought this game for me as a surprise. I really enjoy the game, but the reward is not enough to continue to get into it, then the maintaine took me lots of time to wait for it. It made me really sad and mad. If you want to buy the game, $60 is not worth it, plz wait for its discount.

You guys should really make this game free I would have been more understanding but no you feel the need to change 70 for a $hit game thanks polyphony digital and Sony for this 70 price point I’ll be even more hesitant about Sony first party games going forward but if you can get past all of that other crap it’s a solid game with the adaptive triggers haptic feedback and visuals it’s an awesome game but everything else about the game sucks I don’t really know who is to blame but I can say is don’t spend the money on this game until they have fixed everything on it and when it’s super cheap… Expand

The used cars are timed, you cannot Sell unwanted vehicles. It’s all aimed to get you to spend extra money. I want to escape into video games not be reminded of how much money I don’t have or be fleeced from it. Whats maybe worse is it’s being described as “a real world reflective economy.” To try and hide how the game is built around micro transactions. The worst thing isn’t even the fact that I cannot get a refund. I literally bought the PS5 console for this game as i’m a huge GT fan. It’s awful to admit but I wish I hadn’t. Don’t buy the game in its current state. Wait until Sony and PD make some seriously big changes.     Rewards + micro transactions suck. I bought this game to relax from my daily real life grind, not to gain another grind for credits in order to be able to use cars in a game I already paid for. Fix it Polyphony/Sony or I’ll take an L and never play nor buy any more of your games again!

    Im so very disappointed with GT7 as a long time player of the series. Although the game has great graphics, the core is totally broken. The single player mode has a real lack of content and the AI are terrible to race against. The multiplayer lobbys have numerous problems and the sport mode continually freezes at the results screen so no credits are awarded and your driver rating fallsIm so very disappointed with GT7 as a long time player of the series. I understand the game will eventually be patched to resolve these issues but this is the 25th anniversery edition of the game and after 25 years, these things should have been resolved a long time ago, the game was even delayed several times prior to release and its still a train wreck. GT Sport has a very good multi player mode (despite the penalty system) with several years of data to use for GT7 but it is absolutely ridiculous how bad GT7 multi player is. Coupled with reduced payouts for races, overpriced cars and upgrades and the high cost of microtransactions, this is the most dissapointing edition of Gran Turismo. I seriously wouldnt recommend it to anyone.… Expand

    I love this game it is amazing! It is one of the best GT sport game ever made and it is great fun if you like to grind your way and get amazing cars.

    Actually this game for me is a 8.5 overral, I put a 10 because it does not deserve    I love this game it is amazing! It is one of the best GT sport game ever made and it is great fun if you like to grind your way and get amazing cars.

    You play the game and get a good amount of rewards and now the economy has been addressed and it will become much better in the future.
    Enjoy the races, continue playing the game and improve, get better and enjoy your time on races that you really like.

    - Both Missions and License Tests are challenging with a few outliers that are very hard to hit gold compared to other tests

    Cons:
    - Always-Online DRM leaves the game in a shallow demo with only 11 cars available
    - Wallet limit is 20mil credits UNLESS you buy more credits through MTXs
    - RNG Roulette Tickets that always give worst rewards 99% of the time
    - Car prices are very inflated to mimic "collector culture" (you know it is for making people pay for in-game currency)
    - Prize payouts are stingy (AND WORSE after latest patch)
    - MTXs have worsened (GT Sport allowed you to buy a single car for a few bucks; GT7 makes that same car cost about $30 worth in Credits MTX purchases)
    - FOMO invitations to buy cars not in dealerships AND cost almost max currency wallet amount (you usually miss out on these cars due to time limit to raise that absurd amount of Credits needed to buy it)
    - Feels unfinished (low amount of non-Mission events to participate in, making it near impossible to use your cars outside of setting up your own custom races)

    I enjoyed this game the first few days I played it, but this game is a catastrophe. You'd expect better from a game series that is CELEBRATING its 25th anniversary. Now, this game throws away that 25 years worth of trust out the window with a single release. Until they fix all the problems (mainly the MTXs, online DRM, and lack of standard single-player content), I CANNOT recommend this game in good faith.

    You are better off playing GT1, GT2, GT3, GT4, GT5, or GT Sport. Those games at least have a lot of content that rewards your time and effort. GT7 belongs in the trash until further notice.    … Expand

    I firmly believe a petition needs to be started to have Sony issue refunds for the game. MANY people bought this game based on reviews, when the reviewers were given a DIFFERENT GAME to play. It's the literal definition of a bait and switch, which is illegal.

Been a GT Player for 25 years starting on the first one on PSX. I have bought every GT ever since including GT7, The series was always a great game, some better than others but overall always good to play.

    Along comes GT7 at the premium price of £70, I am glad I struggled getting a PS5 or I would have pre-ordered the £100 25th Anniversary Edition. Now where to start.

    The first disappoint was during setup when I had to select Performance or Quality for Graphics setting. I wanted quality to start with in order to witness Ray-Tracing but, Ray-Tracing was only enabled in Replay Mode and Photo Mode.

    Second disappointment was the woeful User Interface. Go to the Cafe, tap X multiple times to get through the dialogue of Lucas. Then get a Menu and click X multiple time again While dialogue from Lucas was displayed. Thankfully I quickly found a skip option in the settings but that just meant pressing the O button a lot instead of X. You then leave the cafe to go to another part of the UI and repeat the button bashing and repeat. Thankfully the dialogues get less but its a frustration at the start.

    Third disappointment, computer AI is very poor, they will run into you if you are on the line they want and 9 times out of ten you will end up in a spin. Only the top 2 cars seem to be any form of a challenge but even they have poor AI.

    Fourth disappointment was the bugs introduced in Update 1.06, incorrect tyre choices on Licence challenges. Unable to select dirt tyres on the rally stages and wet tyres on wet challenges. In fact, the tyre issue also had an affect on the main game with Racing Soft tyres giving better grip then full wets in a wet race.

    Fifth Disappointment, Update 1.07/1.08. 34 hours downtime due to always online single player game. Reducing payouts meaning Micro Transactions would look more appealing to some and, I still had issues with tyre performance although they tyre issue had been fixed in the Licence challenges.

    I decided that all of this within such a short space of the game being launched was reason enough to return the game for a refund. I will pick it up when I see it in a bargain bucket and hopefully the issues are fixed and the game has a lot more content worthy of the original asking price.

    where in the future the servers can be turned off and all the advance or purchases made in the game will be lost

    I would buy the game but after this policy that Polyphony and PlayStation took I will stay far away from this game

    I don't recommend it until they review this obligation to always be online

    Always online, lies and hides egregious MTX greed to gain higher than deserved Metacritic scores, cars feel like the track turns under them, no damage model, unfair progression designed to make you pay and honestly, visually it looks like a late PS3/early PS4 title most of the time. Sadly, GRAN TURISMO IS DEAD.

    It really seems suspicious that Polyphony changed race payouts after all the big reviews happened.

    Getting small change for races feels very annoying if you try to grind for a very expensive car. Also FOMO is a big part of the game with special invites to buy expensive cars that run out after a given amount of time.     I payed 80€ for this. I thought gt sport was bad day one. Oh boy was I wrong. This is a good driving game hindered by blatant micro transactions lack of content and false promises. Mr kazunori. You are better off drawing those hideous hot wheels wannabe cars (Vgt)than designing games.

    The greed has entered GT series, and its nasty.
    Penalty system is still aweful, can't wrap my head around all the years of trial and error in GT sport didn't lead to anything bytter then this. Its actually GT sport sold twice, same cars and tracks, not much new. GG

    -bring back selling our cars, this is a SIMULATION game. in IRL we can sell cars..
    -stop the rolling start BS, so annoying starting 19cars/40+sec behind so you just make your car OP and catch them quick to win by 30sec.. that is no fun at all and doesn't challenge anyone

    Dont get me wrong not everything is bad about the game, graphics are nice and well managed, sounds effects so far are great too, tuning and customizing always been a big plus in this tho i would have been more happy to finally see a real car enthusiastic game to finally bring the customization of the blowoff valve and me our car turbo sound like we really want too while they did bring the anti lag in it, i like that they give more car as a reward of winning some races, the videos explaination in the license to help make it right if ppl struggle.the multiplayers,

    But, will all that said can i really suggest to pay full price for an incompleted game? No, there is so many things lacking in the game actually and so many things that should be reviewed with patchs or free dlc to fix those before hand. And honestly i kind of get it for the micro-transaction but before thinking about that the game should really be fixed where its lacks and once everything is done properly then go for it.

    Meanwhile im leaving the game and not gonna buy the next ones coming for sure if this one is not properly fixed.    … Expand

    I'm a fan of the GT series but when the company's policy is to abuse users, you have to make them understand that we can do without them but that they can't do without us. I hope they will back down if they don't want to cause the loss of the GT series

    Same sentiments as everyone else. Was really looking forward to this game. Absolutely disappointed with the direction they decided to take with the franchise. I’ve never wanted a refund more than I do with this game. No one needs to give these POS any more money.

    Best racing game to date. The issue that got everyone to put reviews is the game was down for a day because some issues with an update that went wrong...during an earthquake. Though there wer plenty of issues with the update itself.     Career is way to short. Micro transactions are extremely disappointing sense they force you to purchase them if you dont want to grind into insanity. The final nail was the latest patch that lowered in-game money rewards to force you to try and spend IRL money. Edit: WIll raise score if there promises come to pass.

    I love Gran Turismo. GT1 was my first ever video game when I was 6 years old. 22 years have passed and my love for it hasn't changed. There may be some ups and downs, I hope people will give the game a second chance.

    Gave it a 0 at first for their MTX stuff but after they fixed it it’s 100% better. Thank you PD for listening to your fans, don’t do this ever again. On the other hand, the game itself is fantastic honestly, I can’t stop playing it, true definition of addiction.

    The race reward is absolutely not reflecting the player’s effort correctly. And there are so few new tracks and vehicle added to the game (from GT Sports). Not to mention that I am still not able to enjoy the improved graphics due to the PS5 shortage. This game is totally not worth me pre-ordering it!!

    Gran Turismo 7 has a lot of good and plenty of great. The use of DualSense and the particularly well-tuned loading is exemplary, and there's a huge amount of work behind the game, with a lot of detail that's almost hard to believe at times. [Issue#318]

    Gran Turismo 7 brings to the tracks every single thing fans always wanted: the GT Mode everyone loves, plenty of customization options, car loads, classic scenarios and one of the best DualSense and 3D Audio experiences the PS5 has to offer.
