    I feel betrayed and duped by a franchise I’ve loved for as long as it has existed. Games core is great. But the required internet connection to even play the single player and split screen is such a toxic move from PD. The small amounts of credit rewards coupled with the very expensive cars makes it the most grindy GT ever. I get free 2 play vibes from the economy in this game( You can’t even sell cars). Only difference is that you have to pay full price first. Then we have the lack of communication during these server maintenance windows that never seem to end. The ongoing maintenance while writing this review was supposed to last 6 hours. Instead it’s been 24 hours and not a peep from Polyphony. The game went from a solid 8.5-9 to a 0 for me. I can’t play this disgusting piece of sh*t. And that’s not just because it’s impossible to even start during the maintenance. But also because the complete and utter disrespect to the fan base. Congratulations Polyphony Digital. You’ve joined some of the other great fallen studios of this decade. I feel sorry for the people that work at PD who actually care and want to create something amazing.

    Edit: in light of the latest updates I now have changed the score to a 5/10. Im glad they’re starting to listen. I will raise the score further depending on future updates.    … Expand

    Отличий от GT Sport минимум. Даже тот же самый интерфейс остался, те же старые трассы. Интеллект соперника не блещет. А внутриигровые покупки автомобилей от 20 до 40 долларов-это просто издевательство. Два балла заслуженно. Ещё для игры нужно постоянное подключение к интернету.     Best racing game so far. Visual graphic next level with RT turned on. To those who are crying about credits, start playing instead of crying. This is Gran Turismo, where you have to work if you want any better car. Nothing should come easy.

    S&P, if you think people don't notice this, you are sorely mistaken. They do, and they HATE it because not only is it a horrible way to treat long-time customers, it's also deceptive. Shame.

    If you care about your fans and want to do right by them (GT fans have to be the most patient in the industry, let's be honest) you will remove this anti-consumer **** from your game.

    Honestly Sony, with the streak you have been on over the last decade, this is shocking and disappointing to say the least...

    So, the day you (Polyphony) apologise and act to course-correct this new direction by removing exploitative mechanics from this game is the day I make a purchase. Frankly, Sony needs to make a clear statement of regret also.

    I know you read these reviews S&P, so with feedback this overwhelming, if you fail to act I will permanently boycott your future products. I encourage others reading to do so too, as its about all we as consumers can do to be heard.

    Not ok what Sony and polyphony are doing to there customers.

    Good graphics and gameplay but lack of content like cars, cafe menues seems suddenly stopped as if they left like 10 cafe books out

    After the 1.09 patch PD is getting in a better path.
    Hopefully they keep the promises

    Yet another in a list of games that clearly aren't ready for release, I fell for it yet again. Initially you think great this is proper GT7 back, it doesn't take long to realise that the single player content is average at best with terrible AI that doesn't challenge at all, again they covered this up just before release with all this gt sophy rubbish, gtsport mode that is far inferior toYet another in a list of games that clearly aren't ready for release, I fell for it yet again. Now a week or so after release they patch the already grindy payouts to force you into purchasing credits with real world money (it even reminds you that you can EVERY time you get any credits added to your total) and mess the update up so much that the game has been offline for a while now so I can't even play it!

    I hate to have to say this but please avoid this game in its current state, I would be looking to refund if I could and wait to pick it up at what it should have cost (MAX £20) when they have completely redone the game.

    Edit - they have gone some way as to rectifying the issue but alot more needs to be done yet.    … Expand

    El juego a mejorado gráficamente y en rendimiento respecto al Sport, aunque a veces desaparecen lo alerones mágicamente. El juego te lleva de la mano con el modo café cómo si no hubieras cogido un coche en tu vida. Ausencias de diálogos, todo el rato chapas por escrito cómo si fuera un rpg de Super Nes. Después de    Un Gran Turismo Descafeinado. Crónica de una muerte anunciada.

    El juego a mejorado gráficamente y en rendimiento respecto al Sport, aunque a veces desaparecen lo alerones mágicamente. El juego te lleva de la mano con el modo café cómo si no hubieras cogido un coche en tu vida. Ausencias de diálogos, todo el rato chapas por escrito cómo si fuera un rpg de Super Nes.

    Después de terminar este modo, no hay mucho más que hacer, salvo superar tiempos, el modo Sport, y estar cientos de horas farmeando las pruebas para obtener unos pocos créditos para comprar coches. Eso no es divertido.

    También destacar que el juego necesita conexión permanente y que contiene micro o macro pagos. Hace unos días con una actualización no se pudo jugar al juego, ni si quiera ver tu garaje. Una vergüenza.

    Sigue sin haber colisiones en pleno 2022. El modo Sport es peor que el de GT Sport. El modo para un jugador de GT Sport es más completo que el de GT7. El modo Sport parece carreras de coches de choque y el sistema de penalizaciones está mal implementado.

    Las ruletas de premios apestan.

    A veces recibes invitaciones para comprar coches exclusivos durante un tiempo limitado, suelen ser muy caros y con los pocos créditos que dan por carrera se hace casi imposible adquirir el que deseas. Quizás ese coche no vuelva a salir y no lo puedes conseguir salvo... SI PAGAS!

    Básicamente te cobran hasta por cambiar la pintura. El juego te sugiere continuamente gastar dinero en micro pagos. Si fuera un juego free to play lo podría entender, pero señores de Polyphony, me he gastado 80€ en esta basura.

    Lo único que puedo destacar de forma positiva, es el control con el dualsense.

    Ahora ya están alegrando cosas, pero señores de Polyphony, el daño ya está hecho y decidí deshacerme de semejante basura. Cualquier juego de la saga de Psx y Ps2 le da mil vueltas a este GT7.    … Expand

    I thought there has many car option in GT7, but seems it just copy and paste from GT Sport....
    I still love GT6...... there has many cars chosen and pick the car what i love and collects all series....
    for Exmple: EVO I ~ EVO X...

    thats what i mention to be in GT7, but unfortunate, it waste my money to purchase a useless game...

    I have played and been a fan of Gran Turismo since the original game and Gran Turismo 7 has put a stop to that.
    This game and it's latest update makes it impossible to progress without spending more money on an already expensive game with their micro transactions which are no so "MICRO", one update makes the game almost unplayable by fitting the wrong tyres on the cars, they fix this with    I have played and been a fan of Gran Turismo since the original game and Gran Turismo 7 has put a stop to that.
    This game and it's latest update makes it impossible to progress without spending more money on an already expensive game with their micro transactions which are no so "MICRO", one update makes the game almost unplayable by fitting the wrong tyres on the cars, they fix this with the next update that took over a day to work and added insult yo injury by lowering the prize money payout and then introducing micro transactions.
    Basically we the players have just been employed to beta test a game but instead of paying us to do so they are charging us for doing their work,
    As it stands at this moment THIS GAME IS A SCAM.
    There is no point in talking about the game play as most players wont be able to get past the fact that they are being ripped off.    … Expand

    I bought GT7 on PS4, but returned the game 14 days later bc of your false advertisement and defective practices. What a shame that you went the route of MTX. Got to support the gaming community bc you deserve the score you did.

    EDIT: With the recent patch update, I decided to give a 5. Think Polyphony is listening but the launch was disastrous, in my opinion.

El progreso está diseñado directamente para que utilices microtansacciones, no puedes ni siquiera vender los vehículos repetidos ni mucho menos los que tienes una sola vez.     I specifically made an account to leave a review for GT7. I was excited for this game, watched multiple reviews, didn't even pre-order because I don't like to jump on a hype train. Avoided big publishers for information about the game, etc. etc. Even wasted my money on the 25th Anniversary edition because I don't have a PS5 yet, but I'll get one eventually.

    I'm leaving this review even    I specifically made an account to leave a review for GT7. I was excited for this game, watched multiple reviews, didn't even pre-order because I don't like to jump on a hype train. Avoided big publishers for information about the game, etc. etc. Even wasted my money on the 25th Anniversary edition because I don't have a PS5 yet, but I'll get one eventually.

    I'm leaving this review even after the "Ooopsy! 1 million Credit Apology" of the 1.09 patch and the response from Polyphony regarding the review bombs. So, why am I still leaving my own 0? A few reasons.

    It's still a 'Live Service' game shoved into my single player experience. I don't appreciate the verbiage of the 'apology' from Polyphony saying that our response had anything to do with 'confusion'. There was nothing confusing about what they did. It was obvious that they were/are pushing for a MTX economy and went too far (for the time being, I have my thoughts on that). The updates that actually need to happen didn't ship with the game to begin with. As people have pointed out, it was implied in the advertising before the game came out that you could sell your vehicles. The FFB for wheel users is trash, I believe that's because it was tuned for the DualSense controller. That's fine, but don't partner with Fanatec to make a $900 GT specific Direct Drive wheel package and the screw over wheel users/sim racers. The snap oversteer is terrible and it's inconsistent across vehicles; you never really know when you're going to need assists which gets tricky across hundreds of vehicles. Also, a lot of money was spent touting Sophy as a super sophisticated AI to race against but mostly my experience is that the AI is on rails and they will run me off the track instead of practicing or learning any form of race craft. It feels exactly like Dirt Rally 2.0 Rally X AI, if I'm completely honest.

    About my MTX thoughts. You know what I think 1.07/1.08 really was? It was an experiment, they intentionally made the economy terrible to see what they could get away with, and very clearly they couldn't get away with it being this bad... yet. It's the switcharoo effect that 'Live Service' games have been pulling since this has become the trend - make something utterly terrible, that way when it becomes slightly less terrible (but still actually terrible) it looks great in comparison to what it was. But remember when games actually had to be finished before they came out, instead of day one patches? Remember when your full priced $60 (now $70 or more) game didn't have F2P mechanics shoved into them? Remember when loot boxes weren't a thing? Or using FOMO mechanics to hook susceptible people into spending more money in their full priced game wasn't a thing? That's the stuff that disappoints me. That's the stuff that earns the 0.

    Oh, and all the fanboys white knighting for a giant corporation? Please stop, if we don't complain, we don't get this stuff fixed. "Oh it's supposed to be a grind." That's nice, I have a full time job and a life. Maybe 1 hour a day for games, the grind is designed in to push for MTXs and it's been shown this is the worst economy of any GT game. What, you want to feel some "Pride and accomplishment" down in your mom's basement or something? How about now - all these other folks that opened their mouths got you the ability to sell cars, and are getting race payouts fixed, fixing the low payouts for online racing so it feels like less of a waste to spend time on races that are generally more fun (since the AI is trash). Don't defend Sony and PD, they don't need it.

    If this is a real driving simulator, then I want the world to be an arcade machine, the physics are horrendous. I strictly use a Logitech G923PS on my PS5, I can only drive/control FF, AWD and Race cars, anything else that is driven by the rear wheels just spins out and loses control way too easily, most of my gaming hours and currency has been put    Beautiful Game, Horrible Physics.

    Overall I cant give this game a 0, as a sim racer it's superb, I've been playing GT for 25yrs and consider myself fairly good, and the changes made in game have tested my skills and have created a need for me to learn, which is a good thing. The visuals are stunning on PS5, the sound effects are superb (which has been a big complaint in the past). However.     I'm also very disappointed in the amount of cars compared to GT Sport, especially Group 3 cars where there are many newer GT3 cars which should be added as an obvious point - for example BMW only have up to the M6 from GT Sport, whereas since GT Sport released, BMW have gone through a whole GT program cycle with the M8 and are now racing with the M4. These cars should already be in the game.

    This review should have an update on the nerfing of race prices to boost their microtransactions or face massive grinding. Along the way, the removal of the car sells feature even though the PS Store description says you can sell.

    This game is complete microtransaction grinding trash and single-handedly has made me seriously consider switching to Xbox this generation! I just took the game to my local video game exchange store. Screw Sony and GT7!

    Premium price tag, freemium feel. You pay £70 for the base game and then it ask you to either grind for dozens of hours for 1 car or pay £160. Not what you expect from one of sonys flagship games series but maybe you should in the future...

    Great, you have to spend at least 100,000cr for all sort of different tyres, and with different cars, you buy it all again, not to mention the adjustable gearbox and stuff. How did GT turn into such a greed evil after all these years?

    Disappointing they felt the need to reduce race rewards in order to push the in game micro transactions. I do not have 20 hours+ available to grind for a single car nor willing to spend $500+ of my own money for one.

Some cars are over $200 in real world money. The graphics are good, but the physics aren’t, especially on the dirt tracks. This game is currently at prerelease status. What’s the point of the license tests if there aren’t races for the upper tier licenses?

    I bet they will make this a “full game” after $200-$300 in dlc. Don’t buy it. Or at least wait a while for the ultimate version when it has as much content as the old versions of the game. And don't get me wrong, this is a simulation... and it still doesn't simulate wall crashes or accidents and still win a race. How is this considered a "Great" Sim Racer at this point? It is just an average good game... but not any 10s worthiness as some reviewers say.

    Un bon choix de voiture, des modes à gogo et un multijoueur fun et amusant (avec du challenge !)
    Je ne peux que recommander ce jeu pour les passionnés automobile !

    Having played several Need for Speed games, and a few other racing games, Gran Turismo 7 is my first racing sim. I was very impressed by the realism, ridiculously high detail, and overall gaming experience, especially on PS5 outputting 4k 60Hz. The photo mode absolutely sick. Easily gets a 10/10 from me.

    Someone calculated that as of right now, buying the entire roster of cars would cost over $3,000 - and you can't even do that, because you need roulette tickets and special events to make certain cars available!

    This game is a disaster. There are so many bugs. The game always has to be online in single player so Sony can datamine your interaction. A major patch screwed up dirt races so cars don't have dirt tires, making those events impossible. There are loot boxes in the form of roulette tickets which have been proven by statistical analysis to be rigged for low payouts.

    But guess what - the micro transaction store hasn't had a single bug. It's almost like that's where they spend most of their time.

    Buggy, broken, and greedy.

    The racing is good, but I completed the story mode in maybe 10 hours and I'm selling my disc. I'm done. The story mode is so bad. You have "friends" in each event who are stock photo images with text. That's it. That's the story. They say generic crap like "I'm racing the Supra today". Oh wow bro. Nobody cares.

    There are almost no new cars, because all the content is recycled. Games like Forza have so much more original content, it's ridiculous.

    Defenders of this game are likely literal Sony bots. Sony has been caught multiple times buying forum posts, hiring companies to make fake posts of support and manipulating forums. Trust the user score here - there are too many people down voting for Sony to buy their way out of this.     80 euros por un juego que podría haber sido de 10 pero que gracias a la avaricia se ha convertido en una basura al romperse la economía del juego y no ser suficiente que se compre a precio de 80 euros si no que haya que gastar más de 40 euros para uno de sus coches al ser imposible conseguirlo sin grindeo y que si ya era difícil conseguirlo sin pagar antes del último update, ahora es imposible.

    Ahora mismo hay coches de casi 20 millones de Cr. lo que significa que habría que gastar unos 200 euros en comprar un solo coche, y hay bastantes coches de unos cuantos millones lo que desde la bajada de recompensas hace que un coche que en la realidad sería inaccesible para la mayoria, también sea inaccesible económicamente en la realidad. Antes la principal primicia es conduce juegos que de otra forma no podrías, ahora es paga por coches un dineral por coches que te gustaría conducir y que mucha gente seguirá soñando conducirlos incluso en el juego.

    Tenemos que quieren callar al mundo dando una recompensa de 1000000.

    I have bien a fan of racing games since ever, looking for the most realistic feelint on driving simulaton, and this is not, this game have a very free to play game feeling, becouse while the game play is not bad, this game have couple macrotransaction, and his biggest problem is you to be online to play adventure mode, so it's too expensive to he a gente like this

I say £89.99 and not the £69.99 of the "standard" versions as we all know the £89.99 is the real version.. it's how companies can claim they aren't increasing the cost of games by cutting things out of games to charge the "standard" price and try and sell a "deluxe" edition.. and that extra £20 for a single car and some in game credits (1.5Wow Sony.. you seriously want £89.99 for this? I say £89.99 and not the £69.99 of the "standard" versions as we all know the £89.99 is the real version.. it's how companies can claim they aren't increasing the cost of games by cutting things out of games to charge the "standard" price and try and sell a "deluxe" edition.. and that extra £20 for a single car and some in game credits (1.5 million.. and some cars are 10 million.. so WOW lots of credits.. not..) the credits are a MUST to at least make a start because they halved the credits earned for races in the latest patch so they could milk us for more money through microtransactions. They make a single player game online only so that it is "fair" (against who would it not be fair? It's a single player game!) So people can't edit the game save for more money.. because cheating for more money is wrong.. selling microtransactions for more money isn't though.. THAT is more moral aparently.. so always online and then their servers are down for 24+ hours.. awesome.. I can't play a single player game becuase it's locked to their terrible servers because they want to milk more money than the £89.99 they got from us.. disgusting behavior!     The game itself could be very good, but microtransactions from hell are ruining it. Cars can cost up to 200$ - this is no joke. Grinding these credits has been made more time consuming with the latest patch, which is just a joke.

    Edit: They reacted and made it more easy to earn money, they will implement selling cars, too. Im fine with that.

    El juego principalmente deja de ser un gran turismo para ser un tutorial corto, cuando lo haces se acaba el juego.

    Por otro lado ha dejado de ser un juego para ser un álbum de cromos virtual que tienes que comprar con dinero real porque a cada actualización que meten reducen los créditos dados como premio.

    Legalmente hablando, es una estafa.

    Gran Turismo 7 has a lot of good and plenty of great. The use of DualSense and the particularly well-tuned loading is exemplary, and there's a huge amount of work behind the game, with a lot of detail that's almost hard to believe at times. [Issue#318]

    Gran Turismo 7 brings to the tracks every single thing fans always wanted: the GT Mode everyone loves, plenty of customization options, car loads, classic scenarios and one of the best DualSense and 3D Audio experiences the PS5 has to offer. This is the best Gran Turismo experience we have ever seen in a long time.

    Gran Turismo 7 is a love letter to motorsport history and an impeccable technical showcase. The franchise's traditional formula gets good improvements, but it's still extremely true to its roots. One of the best racing series ever shines spectacularly on the PS5.
