    Really feels like a downgrade from the first game and even the Dead Island series. The lack of co-op progression is major let down.     Fix for co-op and quest stuck bug.

    For this game to work right you have to have less than 300 total psn friends. Once you delete enough psn friends to be under 300 total, co-op starts working and quests will finally progress.
    This fix is confirmed to work for PlayStation.

    Other than the bugs the game is solid and fun with friends

    Best game I’ve played on the next gen consoles. Been waiting for something like this since Ghost of Tsushima. Don’t listen to the critic reviews, they are flat wrong and seeing these ratings they are giving made me create an account on here just to rebuke them

    I really enjoy the game with all of the cool parkour moves you can do and all the stuff in each zones. But, I don't think the game lived up to its "game-changing choices". When picking choices throughout the story I don't feel the world changing around like Techland said it would. All I see from this is changes in some dialog from NPC's but that's about it.     I played the game now 25 h and must say I only found 2 little bugs. The day one patch solved the most bugs in the game. The game is very fun.

    The Devs are Polish (that's why a Polski language). They also said that due to difficulties hiring Italian VAs the language patch WILL come at a later date. Please don't be racist or unkind to other peoples and their language just because yours is a little late to the party.

    I've always been a big fan of Techland games and Dying Light 2 is definitely the best game Techland created so far. The parkour and combat are absolute highlights of DL2. They are fun, addictive and very smooth. I'm having a great time just running on rooftops and kicking zombies. Awesome game. I recommend it to anyone who is a fan of Action Games.

    This game does everything that a sequel should do; it takes the concepts of the original and makes them better. As someone that has over 200 hours in the original, I'm loving this game. Its everything I loved from DL1 only expanded on and made better, in most cases.

    It's not without its faults. Running feels slower but not necessarily in a bad way.     I am a game designer and I understand how many difficulties techland had to overcome during this time, but there is a feeling that they went on about Ubisoft. And they made another resource grinder.
    I will go through the main points that hooked me
    1. Zombies - Into the Dying Light 2 you are not at all afraid of zombies, you don't care about them, they are boring and not dangerous. while in dying light 1 you try to get to the shelter before nightfall because it was really hard to survive at night.
    The mechanics of the new zombies are not impressive, they still spit, jump, and others are slow.
    2. Interface - what happened to the interface? Did you hire an interface designer directly from Ubisoft? Seriously, it's very similar to Farcry and Assassin's Creed. The previous interface was not as intuitive, but it was simple and straightforward with its own unique style.
    3. Gameplay mechanics
    The battle became boring and repetitive from time to time, it was simply complicated by dodging and parrying, forgetting about the repulsion of enemies.

    The grappling hook has become very realistic, but we are in the game and the fact that in Dying Light 1 you could quickly move to the roof directly from the ground often saved me from dangerous zombies, oh wait in Dying Light 2 there are no dangerous zombies!

    The paraglider is a great idea, the implementation is **** By the way, in Dying Light 1 there was a paraglider that just helped you descend from a tall building or fly several tens of meters, in Dying Light 2 you fly with this parachute all over the map, but why?

    Parkour has become more interesting due to new tricks, but you can really quickly climb somewhere only towards the end of the game when you don’t need it at all. You have to constantly wait for your stamina to recover.

    4. Quests and main campaign
    Some quests are really interesting and unusual, but they are negligible.
    The main campaign and the main character, to my regret, did not cause any feelings. You don't empathize with the hero, his loss of his sister, you don't feel like you're the hero. in the first part, getting on the quest of the main campaign, Kyle Crane was really in a hurry and ran headlong, remember at least the escape from the pit from Rice.

    Dying Light 2 has its good points, like the layering of the map and its size, the history of the city and its surroundings, but all this does not matter if there is no such work on the details as Dying Light 1.

    In general, the game turned out for a large mass of the average level in order to go through once. I am disappointed and disappointed with the result. We were expecting a completely different game.

    everyone I talk about this game is thrilled. Co-op is really great. 20 hours in and it"s absolutely class. I am having a great time. No bugs so far for me. The music really is as good as the game looks! Great job.

    Great game, a few small none game breaking bugs that I am very confident will get ironed out. Also fighting and rag dolling feels a little floaty but again this will get addressed. Great studio creating a great game and will 100% give great aftercare.

    So I own a ps5, and I'm able to download the ps5 version with better frame rate and resolution, however if I want to play with my friends that's still on ps4, I need to play the ps4 version of the game and my save data DOES NOT carry over between the 2 versions. Now I'm stuck with the last gen version of the game on my next gen console just to play with friends.

    From writing standpoint alone, Days Gone is miles ahead of this game. Days Gone has more depth, more natural dialogue, more interesting world design, better graphics and so on. Why i'm even mentioning Days Gone is the fact how big downgrade Days Gone 2 really is in terms of open world zombie games over the years. It's even worse than DL1 in many areas.

Parkour gets old in 2 hours, story is awful, characters forgettable at best, there's pretty much no horror in this horror game. If you want solid open world zombie game that has actual horror elements, i wouldJust an advice from one gamer to another, ignore all the fake positive 10/10 reviews. The thing i really like here is parkour: At first i thought that it is very strange and uncomfortable but i was wrong cuz i just needed to get used to it to go the next - the system is harder than in Dying Light 1 what actually makes the travelling much more interesting.     If you liked dying light it’s more of the same that you’ll find here. But for me that’s not a bad thing! Although the game is downgraded it’s still a pretty game with lots to do to pass the time. I recommend this game

    This game is amazing, its everything i wanted in a sequel to DL. I'm invested in the story, I love the characters. the gameplay is fantastic. I'm so happy with how this came out. It looks phenomenal on a 4k TV. Good job Techland, cant wait to see what you do with it in the next 5 years.

    Jestem już po około 30 godzinach spędzonych w tej świetniej grze i jestem w stanie śmiało powiedzieć że ta część to jest po prostu Dying Light 1 tylko że podrasowany o 200% ogromny świat mechaniki RPG

    I like very much first part. The second has more options. Few first missions is very good. I don't have any problem with PS5 version. I saw one bug. Nothing special.

    Great game. Glad, that most important languages are avaible for dubbing like english, german, polish. Great plot, graphics. I recommend this game.

    The game is pretty good, the parkour and combat feel incredible, especially the parkour. The story isn't very interesting, Aiden is bland and there's no reason for us to really care about finding Mia, though the side characters really carry the story. The virals also feel downgraded from the first game, they don't feel like the threat that they once were.     Extra (Doesn't affect score) : There's a lot of bugs on the console version, some buildings don't appear and you can just fall through them, dialogue skips, people appear as gray, people not being able to join co-op, some missions not appearing or allowing you to finish, audio either doesn't work or is delayed.

    There's also no cross-gen, at least not yet, me and my friends learned that the hard way.    … Expand

    Absolutely awful game, maybe one of the worst i have ever player. Bad graphics, jumping on zombies has so physics compared to DL1, awful story, boring characters, city looks bland and boring. This is most generic bad game i have ever seen. Avoid at all cost!

    Hi Techland would you please remove denuvo, so your game wont drop fps, thank you. Dying Light 2 is absolute trash, downgrade from first game in almost every aspect.

    I truly enjoy it i loved the first dying light game theres a bunch of bugs but those will get weeded out im sad ng+ isn't out yet but once it is im gonna try every ending anyway 10/10

    The game has serious issues. first off the "side quests" are nothing more than Fetch Quests and get boring fast, "Go there get this and return" so boring. The infected are too easy to fight and usually die in one hit they mostly stand there and stare at you rather than attacking you "Pacifist Zombies" me and my friends call them, Further more the chases at night are also boring, the game just spawns a few dozen howlers in the streets and if they spot you, you usually get a few weak infected that chase you down and do 1HP if they can hit you that is. The Parkour, i die more from weak Parkour physics than i do from actual infected (i've not once been killed or downed by infected) The Running and jumping is great but the actual climbing needs work. All together i don't think this is a game i can be bothered to finish, it's a weak follow up to the previous game which had much better protagonist and characters which were funny and iconic, where as the characters in Dying Light 2 were boring and just had no personality, just like Aiden. also this game is not even pushing next gen standards at only 1080p60fps on Playstation 5 when the console could easily run at 4K60fps… Expand

    On PS5 I have had no crashes at all and I'm 30 hours in.

    Graphics wise I'm sure a PC could run 4k 60fps fine, you have to remember the ps5 is already last gen PC hardware it's basically as powerful as a rtx 2070. On PS5 the 60fps mode is pretty ugly and only 1080p as well. But it looks as if it it just using the last games engine with everything turned up a little. Textures are pretty low res as well, when you get close to posters and etc you can't even read them.    … Expand

    As for the game, sadly, it feel like a better looking but less interesting version of DL1. I miss the guns, i miss the airdrops, i miss the real zombies treat... the first part is very boring, feel like a 10h+ tutorial following NPC and never ending dialogues...
    Mission are quite boring, it feel like a fusion Dying last Far Cry of us Light 2...
    Zombie feel almost like decoration, never really a treat, you just ignore them most of the time... if they were not there it would not change much...
    The second half of the game is a lot better even if i atill feel there is a lack of interest in exploring but it start to feel Dying Light.
    I hope DLCs will be able to adjust it and bring more attractive goals even if it wont fix the very slow boring start. This game have huge potential, amazing open world and parkour, dont waste it please. And bring back gun + more agressive/ dangerous infected :)    … Expand

    Dying Light 2: Stay Human looks more like a DLC to the first game than a whole new one. This does not mean it is a bad game, but it is not one that you should rush to buy. It looks and feels like you are playing the same Dying Light from years ago, and despite the storytelling being solid and entertaining, it is not enough to justify buying it right now.

    Delivering a huge improvement on the first title, but lacking with new features, Dying Light 2 Stay Human is quite fun, brutal, rewarding and a game of exceptional quality when it comes to the open world. Minor issues still exist here, but Techland successfully manages to live up to the hype surrounding the game.
