    No clue how or why this game is being review bombed. It's got 5 years of scheduled content and the gameplay is some of the most satisfying in all of video games. I do agree the story and characters could use some work but in every aspect this game improves upon an already great experience in dying light and I can't wait to see what the future holds.

    Perełka, naprawdę, a brak języka włoskiego to już w ogóle miód malina - gra przez to relatywnie mało waży na dysku a sam proces pobierania jest dużo krótszy tak, że mega plusior :)

    Loved the first game and eagerly awaited a sequel for years. I heard there were real problems in-house at Techland during development of this game, which made me nervous, but pre-launch trailers and content restored faith somewhat. Techland has managed to take a lot of what worked with the first game and either remove it or make it worse. The result is a    Such a mess, Such a shame...

    Techland has managed to take a lot of what worked with the first game and either remove it or make it worse. The result is a game that is nowhere near as fun to play as the first game.

    This game at release is not just a disappointment but a deception. I cannot understand why they choose to market this game years ahead of its release while delivering such a mess of a game

    Here's an idea: Why don't you focus on making a competent game first and then take it to market. It's like the people at Techland that have been hyping the game years in advance and selling promises of greatness have never actually played it or had any first-hand experience with the game. They’re just quoting from a script of ‘key features’ and ‘unique selling points’ that’s been cooked up for them…

    I heard that the CEO is obsessed with copying other AAA devs like ubisoft, EA and CD Projekt Red which explains a lot. That, coupled with egos and bad eggs in leadership roles at Techland (according to many interviews/articles) that are blocking good ideas and insisting on their own, has left players with a confused and mediocre experience.

    The best thing that could happen to this franchise now is if Techland sell the IP to a competent dev such as Kojima studios, Naughty Dog (Pre-TLOU2) or Fromsoft and then we might finally see an open-world Zombie parkour experience realised anywhere near close to it's potential.

    If Techland were to make another game after this, please just play to your strengths. You've hampered both games down to mediocre uninteresting stories with bad writing and voice work. Ditch the 'Story-driven experience' and just make a gamers game. Base building, scavenging, defending against zombie hordes, other factions, fun character progression/customisation, and just let players create their own story in the world. You could do this in 3 years, not 7.

    Also coop is currently broken and when it is working it’s not very fun. Instance after instance. Go somewhere, talk to person - ’waiting for players to proceed’, go to door - ’waiting for players to proceed’ - Go fetch item - ’waiting for players to proceed’, and on it goes…

    Pros:

    ⁃ Parkour is still largely satisfying and more versatile than first game
    ⁃ Added some cool parkour combat moves
    ⁃ Some good world design here
    ⁃ Perfomance mode on PS5 is mostly stable 60 fps
    ⁃ Gameplay flows a bit better between day and night (imo)

    Cons:

    ⁃ Some parkour animations have been redone but are worse - ‘Slide’, Grapple’ etc
    ⁃ Combat is repetitive and unsatisfying - Worse than first game
    ⁃ Ragdoll physics worse
    ⁃ Story and writing is painful
    ⁃ Too many cutscenes
    ⁃ Character dialogue rambles on (what could be said in 15 seconds takes 3 minutes)
    ⁃ Coop is broken/buggy at launch
    ⁃ Coop boils down to running from instance to instance. Can’t even spot/mark things for each other
    ⁃ Exploration of map inline with Ubisoft games - Mark an icon on the map and run to it
    ⁃ Bugs for days… All the same bugs that were in the first game still remain here 7 years later (How has this not been picked up on? Since you supported the first game for 5 years after launch. How are these same bugs here again?)
    ⁃ X-ray feature in combat removed
    ⁃ Moon gravity with parkour and combat. Everything feels ‘weightless’
    ⁃ Many standard ‘Quality of life” elements from other open-world games are not here
    ⁃ Menus are frustrating to navigate
    ⁃ Game is littered with bad game design choices
    ⁃ Story faction choices are underwhelming. Only a few make a difference, the rest are pointless
    ⁃ Removed survivor skill tree when it would have carried over to this game just fine.
    ⁃ Character progression and skill trees not as satisfying
    ⁃ 1080p 60fps on PS5 (thought we were past this?)
    ⁃ Removed volatiles and any threat from night time (Need to make a lvl 4 chase happen to see them)
    ⁃ Sun-baked lighting from first game is gone. Lighting feels flat and you can no longer ‘feel’ the sun going down and night coming like the first game.
    ⁃ Graphics look outdated (More PS4 than PS5)
    ⁃ Can’t repair weapons ⁃ Only 1 weapon moveset across all weapons - left…right… (What a missed opportunity) ⁃ Aiden is the exact the same character as Kyle Crane ⁃ Story and quest design is outdated (ok in 2015, not in 2022) ⁃ Enemy variety and attacks are same and boring to fight ⁃ All weapons handle the same and feel generic It sounds like they’re strived so hard to be a AAA studio and release a AAA game, and they might have just achieved it, but that’s not a good thing imo…    … Expand

The story went from decent to **** trash, my game was riddled with bugs everywhere making it unplayable. Audio and dialogue was completely **** Avoid this game if your on old gen frame drops are atrocious sometimes even going down to 3 frames a second. The whole “your world, your choices” isInitially I thought this game was a 10/10. But around 10 hours in the quality completely switched.     I like the first one better. The story is crappy, characters woodden, I just skipp the dialogs. This game makes me turn it off and start the first one. The graphics desing is actually worse despite better performance but this is just thanks to the new console generation

    Tor what is seen as one of the bigger games of 2022, I feel as if this is othing but a shadow of its former self.

    In comparison to its predecessor, it fails to capture what truly made Dying Light a great game, an average story, boring and uninspired main character, gameplay that just feels unpolished and combat that doesn't have the same fun as the first outing

    Might be the most glitchy game since Cyberpunk the more you progress the worse it gets. I have completed the story and now all my side missions bug out and or black screen dialouge takes double the amount of time/delayed. Also this white smoke appears randomly on most places on the map so I can't even see where I am going half the time.

You don't feel the tensity of going out, the zombies aren't a threat at all. Combat is insanely boring, traversing the world is an absolute chore, and story is abysmal. I wanted to love this game, and be proud of Techland. This is a pass,Don't think for one second that people are being harsh on the game.     What a disappointing game this was. Looks and feels like a PS3 game, story is boring and very short. The combat is atrocious. The weapons system is just stupid. Very upset about this game, I've loved the previous dying light game and the other Dead Island instalments, but this one is just boring. A vast open map full of emptiness.

    It would be 10 if the game didnt have some bugs that stopped some trophies popping and MP connection was better.

    This game is fun and long. Worth the money if your looking for a game that has hours of stuff to do.

    PLUS its zombies!!!!!! If you enjoyed the first game you will love this one. Like the saying goes if it aint broke dont fix it but improve on it!

    The best game since The Witcher 3. I don't understand how people can give zero ratings because of a few glitches that Techland will fix very soon. The game totally engulfed me. All mechanics are tuned to perfection. GOOD NIGHT, GOOD LUCK!

I had a blast going around the map and finding collectables and just clearing zones.     Im on around 15hrs so far and am really enjoying it, So far have one crash and i haven't seen a lot of bugs so i am aware that i am luck in that regard, playing on Quality too just because the 60fps for this game is not too essential to me .. Its a complete improvement on the first game in almost every way.. Only thing is that nightime is not as pant wetting-ly terrifying as the firstIm on around 15hrs so far and am really enjoying it, So far have one crash and i haven't seen a lot of bugs so i am aware that i am luck in that regard, playing on Quality too just because the 60fps for this game is not too essential to me ..     as Italian dialogues are missing, I found it troublesome to play during fast-paced sequences, performing parkour and having to face lots of enemies while the game keeps bombarding you with lots of small subtitles in a different language. It's very distracting and you aren't able to do both things while playing.     This world is so beautifully drawn that you can get the impression you are in the middle of the movie,
    A great story, good efficiency. If I could do parkour in real life I'm pretty sure it would be as much fun as in the game. All those small details that make you feel this is so real!

    This game is brilliant, Techland have picked straight up where they left off with Dying Light 1 which was a masterpiece way before it's time. I am having so much fun traversing the map and the narratives, it's just a lot of fun and it's so easy to lost and play for hours. I have a few negatives, but they do not take away form how fun and immersive this game is.

    - There's a couple of    This game is brilliant, Techland have picked straight up where they left off with Dying Light 1 which was a masterpiece way before it's time. I am having so much fun traversing the map and the narratives, it's just a lot of fun and it's so easy to lost and play for hours. I have a few negatives, but they do not take away form how fun and immersive this game is.

    - There's a couple of bugs that need patching, but I expect them to be done no problem (audio dropping out completely, especially speech, survivor sense not being responsive).

    - Sometimes the dialogue options feel meaningless, I will purposefully avoid an option only for the option I those to take the same path as the alternative anyway. Additionally I feel like my options aren't taken in to account when I really want them to, the main character acted towards another character negatively when I was under the impression things were positive, it brought me out of my own personal narrative unfortunately.

    - The zombie attacking animation isn't anywhere near as impressive or brutal as the first game.

    - So far the game is too easy, I'm not afraid to run around at night or jump in to any fight, I wish I put it on hard, but I remember that option being too hard in the first game so went for medium.

    I am really enjoying this game and think Techland have done an outstanding job. Nearly a 10/10 for me.    … Expand

    I have countered only one bug in my playthrough.

    So yep, I don't have played this game, why I'm even writing a 10/10 review? Only to say that this childish situation must stop. I'm Italian and i don't f*cking care if the Italian dub is not in the game, the game is localized in italian (and some idiots compatriots of mine have written that it is not even localized in italian), i prefer some f*cking subtitles in my language that none. I'm Italian and i don't f*cking care if the Italian dub is not in the game, the game is localized in italian (and some idiots compatriots of mine have written that it is not even localized in italian), i prefer some f*cking subtitles in my language that none. I play with subtitles even in Skyrim, which IS dubbed in Italian, and I don't know any Italian who doesn't, so why all of this? I'm also seeing that Italian dubbing sucked a lot in DL1! But I am also infuriated by the responses of the fans, who start insulting Italians with stereotypes and racist insults of various kinds, this situation has gotten out of hand, and continuing to fight like f*cking children does not solve anything, I hope that Metacritic removes all these reviews and that Techland also takes action for this senseless flame.… Expand

    Absolutely love the game. The graphics are amazing for the detail of the open world. The sound design is next level (my only suggestion would be the foley cloth sounds are a touch too loud. But that’s the sound designer speaking). The game is fun, the story is interesting and it is beautiful. Not sure what else you could ask for.

    Il voto non è dovuto al fatto che manchi il doppiaggio italiano, ma perché la traduzione è molto spesso sbagliata o assente in alcuni casi. HO avuto problemi anche nel giocare su PS5, vari bug grafici e glitch che facevano saltare i dialoghi in automatico costringendomi a resettare il checkpoint. Tutte queste aggiunte sinceramente dal primo capitolo io non le vedo e sinceramente preferivoIl voto non è dovuto al fatto che manchi il doppiaggio italiano, ma perché la traduzione è molto spesso sbagliata o assente in alcuni casi.     Chris Avellone would have done a really great story, but it ended up being crap without him.

    now will do positive/negative before getting to the actual negative, so for starters the the new night system is both awesome yet sucky, its awesome cause they actual have more stuff to do during the night other then grinding and you no longer have to worry about making one mistake and getting swarmed but 20 volotiles, however said awesome has some issues namely the chase system ive played for a few days and only saw volotiles twice because even on the hardest diffulculty its to easy to escape and easy to not get chase level 4 maybe if it was alot faster or maybe only 3 levels (both times were story missions), ok now second iffyness the choice system well its not terrible and does have the odd intresting choice sadly nowhere near as good as they made it sound, what else well human combat is majorly improved though their still annoying as hell and the combat controls take a bit to get used to and sadly no more constant drop kicks, what else o new zombies are neat however im kinda disapointed by some of them namely the banshee and anomaly the banshe is just annoying and the anomaly is the same zombie over and over and is so easy to cheese (get up close hell barely hit you), o and exploders are still positive and negative mainly due to them being an giant pain in the ass but they do make you laugh when you spin around see them go oh **** and go flying, and finally for the good/bad the quests some are brilliant others are repetive so not much has changed from the first game honestly you can have fun but their are some that are just boring.

    now onto negatives which thankfully arent many but they are big, the new rpg system honestly kinda sucks honestly ive barely bothered to care i just use whatever has the higher stats (so usally gold items), the new weopan upgrade system also sucks since you can no longer build weopans nor repair them which was an awesome thing with the first game (more you repair the more patches you see on the weapon) however with this system its use till it breaks then toss which sucks and yes that happened in the first game but the first game said weapons did last now once you get somthing better just sell the old stuff and youll get better gear way to easy, o and no more picking up enemy weapons save for spears so yeah thats a big negative cause cmon we are supposed to be surviving but you cant pick up enemy weapons anymore realy.

    honestly those are the big things and i mainly did this to voice my opinion, personally the game is a fair bit better then the previous game and i do highly recomend it, and at the moment could be considered the best game in the last few months (probaly due not being a glitchy mess and has actual content, yes im making a dig at cyberpunk and battlfield 2042), so yeah good and bad, sucks to see it getting so much hate for lets see no guns (stupid take and editing this if your made about no guns USE THE PK CROSSBOW its basicly a gun), bad laungage settings (this is a bit fair but still a bit much to rate it a zero), a weird hud (you can tweak it just saying) and little nitpicks.    … Expand

I'm from the Netherlands and didn't like anything about this game: 1. it is visually ugly, bad textures, bad characters' faces, raytracing is not perceivable. 2. it's not fun to play, just generic zombie game with stupid quests and missions, nothing memorable. 3. broken savelots of people are complaining not just for missing italian but because this is a bad game and players are unhappy.     Overall the games a good 7.8/10. Worth the buy, but not sure why the combats changed so much, its still great though.

Not only there was parkour, the story also was interesting (primarily cuz the virus didnt leave Haram. We kept seeing the worlds efforts to fight an apocalyptic virus, leaving innocent people to die so they wouldnt spread theDying Light 1 was one of the biggest surprises i had. For be the biggest deal about dying light 1 was the ragdoll physics. Gta, red dead redemption AND dying light 1 are the only games where i can say the ragdolls feel almost perfect. You hit a zombie in the jaw and you would see his head moving the opposite way with a higher velocity than the rest of the body, thus resulting on the zombie falling on the ground. That was not an pre-defined animation, but a exporadic reaction caused by the hit of my weapon (ofc due to the engine). The weapons had weight and punch to them and the zombies reaction to hits was one of the biggest parts of the game for me.
    Fast forward to 2022 and the game has the generic "zombie virus destroyed the whole civilization" type of plot, parkour looks off (improved, but the feeling isnt quite there) and dont get me started on animations. Ragdolls are non existant for weapon hits. You wont hit a zombie in the face and cause him to fall and try to get up. He'll simply stand there getting hit until the lifebar is fully drained **** off). The dropkick is so strong it looks like the hulk just drop-kicked the zombie.
    In general, the game feels, looks, smells and tastes like dead island 3 and does not import one single great thing of what made Dying Light 1 so immersive and grounded. best comparison would be Ghost Recond Wildlands and Ghost Recon Breakpoint (not pay to win.     Отличная игра, отличное продолжение первой части. Не такая страшная, но атмосферная не меньше. Разнообразная, особенно с точки зрения геймплея и выбора оружия. Сюжет вполне себе нормальный, не то чтобы "восторг", но он вполне интересный и нескучный. Играю на Xbox series X. За 30 часов игры попалось пару багов и один вылет, ничего критического на старта я считаю. Единственное, что сильноОтличная игра, отличное продолжение первой части.     Dying Light 2: Stay Human looks more like a DLC to the first game than a whole new one. This does not mean it is a bad game, but it is not one that you should rush to buy. It looks and feels like you are playing the same Dying Light from years ago, and despite the storytelling being solid and entertaining, it is not enough to justify buying it right now.

    Delivering a huge improvement on the first title, but lacking with new features, Dying Light 2 Stay Human is quite fun, brutal, rewarding and a game of exceptional quality when it comes to the open world. Minor issues still exist here, but Techland successfully manages to live up to the hype surrounding the game.
