    Thought I would give this a 10 to balance the haters reviews Wich is absolutely ridiculous this game is not that bad I would say 8.5 would be right score the traversal parkour is way better now and a lot of fun I’m currently playing on hardest difficulty Wich I recommend for the best experience possible great game I love it thank you!

    Bad game and a very over-hyped game by the press.. I had 0 fun (I found the first one very boring.. so when I watched the trailer during E3 2018 I decided to give another chance to Techland.. but wow very boring with all the quests and the main story.. seriously copy paste a lots of the locations on the map just to have a longer game and no fun exploration.. combat are so arcade and no hitBad game and a very over-hyped game by the press.. I had 0 fun (I found the first one very boring.. so when I watched the trailer during E3 2018 I decided to give another chance to Techland.. but wow very boring with all the quests and the main story.. seriously copy paste a lots of the locations on the map just to have a longer game and no fun exploration.. combat are so arcade and no hit feeling when you've good weapons and leg kick.. sorry but it's a mess and I'm a PS5 owner and damn the graphics looks so cartoonish with the flashy colors. Spent 80$ on fire! Just put your money on another game than this **** who can't run 4k 30 fps on next gen in 2022.. It's juste a waste of time..     I honestly didn't see such a stupid story and design, the city in the game is surrounded by huge walls, so people who have lived there for over 15 years have not been able to clean the streets and buildings of zombies but have chosen to live on roofs where trees grow out of nowhere what a idiot directed the game ??

    I have never played a game that left me just sitting, watching the closing credits and thinking for so long. It was really indescribable experience. Techland did really good work. 10 out of 10.

    +Fun gameplay (at very least for the first couple of hours after the prologue)
    +Nice visuals (not great, though, by far)
    +/- Meh soundtrack
    -Poor balance
    -Awful story
    -Bad sidequests
    =Just another empty soulless open-world game, but hey! - you can parkour! m'kay...
    Buy this game only on sails and only if you got nothing else to play.

    I could not wait for this game to be released. Unfortunately, this is pretty much a half finished product.

    Some of my points: - 1080p 60 fps on PS5 is unacceptable. The game looks prevgen if it was on low settings. Shadows, textures look very unappealing, in-game themes look way too colourful, oversaturated. Compared to other games like TLOU2 this look very bad. The visual    I could not wait for this game to be released. Unfortunately, this is pretty much a half finished product.

    Some of my points:

Compared to other games like TLOU2 this look very bad. The visual presentations in last year’s trailers were a lie!
    - I have encountered many bugs during gameplay (spawning, performance issues, some crashes etc.)
    - The campaign has a very promising start, story feels interesting. Later, especially at the end and it turns out to be very silly. Almost like a Brazilian soap opera.
    - There are many stupid cut scenes in which other opponents appear out of nowhere and you lose your advantages.
    - NPC-s are unable to follow you on mission, after a cutscene they teleport to next meeting location, where they need to teleport again.
    - RPG elements are mediocre.
    - There aren't many infected on the streets, which is awkward.
    - DL1 felt so much better.
    - Side missions are boring.
    - Stealth elements are meh.

    Overall, I feel let down, as I was very hyped to play it.

    My final verdict is that I cannot recommend it on full price, this game need 12 months’ worth of patch and a great discount.    … Expand

    Auf der PS5 sind Missionen Verbuggt, Trophys Verbuggt, Sprachausgabe ist nicht nur schlecht, sondern ist auch Verbuggt, Tja und die Grafik ist für daß Jahr 2022 nix besonderes. Kann man mal im Angebot für nen 10er kaufen.

    Haven't played the game but this is in response to the numerous "no Italian translation" negative reviews. You know what I do when a game isn't in a language I speak? I just don't play it. Unless Techland promised it and in addition gave you no way to refund your money, then using review bombing for something like this is just sad.     les commentaires des Polonais ici contre les Italiens sont vraiment inacceptables. J'espère qu'ils prendront des mesures contre les joueurs polonais qui ont écrit ici. Cependant le jeu est mauvais, je ne l'ai pas aimé. C'était un désastre d'y jouer. Plein de bugs, médiocre et vieux en tout.

    DL2 is so bad I've no words to describe it. Pretty sure most positive reviews here are from Techland employees paid to give fake ratings 10 out of 10. This game's a mess of gameplay, glitches, bugs, broken saves, death loops and other garbage. They totally ruined the very good DL1

    how bad it looks like. it seems you're playing a game from 2015 with bad textures and ugly environments. Despite that it's very demanding, my rtx 3080 is hardly capable to make it run at 4k all maxed out. Damn Techland

    awesome game huge world to explore great graphic awesome world built great music choices best game i highly recommend it a must play don't let the bad reviews of Dying light 2 steer you off make up your own mind it's nothing more then entitled gamers whining like babes cause they are ungrateful.

    Don't understand where people are coming from when it comes to glitches and graphical problems. For me it looks gorgeous and ran smooth with minimal-no bugs on a pretty cheap prebuilt computer. While not the greatest writing of all time, it felt like it handled it's concepts better than most other zombie games trying to tell a similar story. It felt more immersive and exhilarating than theDon't understand where people are coming from when it comes to glitches and graphical problems. For me it looks gorgeous and ran smooth with minimal-no bugs on a pretty cheap prebuilt computer. While not the greatest writing of all time, it felt like it handled it's concepts better than most other zombie games trying to tell a similar story.     Don't listen to the negative reviews, this game is awesome. Okay, the story is nothing compared to a game like Red dead redemption but it's way better than it was in the first one.. If you are hesitating the only thing i can say is that if you loved the first one, you gonna love this too and you won't regret buying it.

Jeśli jednak chodzie o samą grę jest ona bardzo dobra ale fabuła jest średnia ale parkour to po prostu złoto trochę lepszy niż w jedynce (w jedynce był zarombisty) więc solidne 8,5/10.

    Aktualnie ogrywam na PS5 i jestem cholernie pod wrażeniem jak dobrze zrobiona i zoptymalizowana jest ta gra! Zero gliczy,problemów itd + brak włoskiego dubbingu za co wielki szacun

    Нам показывали в трейлерах красивых женских персонажей, забудьте, по ним прошлась повесточка и все они стали менее симпатичными чем зомби, будь этот мир реальным, некрофилия была бы в почёте, не дай бог такую обезьяну встретить в реальной жизни(бог не даст, их просто не существует(только в головах меньшинств)) но в играх они есть, на хрена?? чтоб снежинки не растаяли(полейте их кипятком) нужды большинства важнее нужд меньшинства которые не создают ничего они как вандалы только всё портят, калечат, ломают...
    Я играл 2 дня(12часов).. и мне не хочется возвращаться в эту поделку, там нет ничего прекрасного, ни сюжета ни персонажей, всё это есть в GoD4, а паркур есть в других играх.
    И да ГГ ведет себя как 12 летняя девочка, но пьёт пиво. проблемы с рожами персонажей справляются мододелы но это не плюс к игре, это жирный неуд "дизайнерам"    … Expand

    sure the storyline isnt the best but it sure isnt the worst

    a couple of bugs here and there sure but the game is still very playable and im sure will be patched out soon enough

    Its a really good game. Ive been having fun playing with friends during the weekend. Looking forward to check all the secrets and complete it 100%. Also replaying with different faction! Great Job Techland! A few minor bugs but nothing unplayable.

This raw PoS still needs a year or two to be grinded / polished. Tons of bugs, mountains of jambs and a poor plot kill the feeling of the game completely.     Well, it should be noted the most important thing! The game is very depressing with bunch of "copy-paste" locations! Comrades, this is some kind of freaking joke! A lot of buildings on the roofs is absolute copies, up to the location of lootable items (boxes, bags, etc.). One to one.

    Dark areas, abandoned shops, infected zones and etc were riveted with this COPY-PASTE!

    Mutants in anomalies are always the same types!

    I was hoping to buy the product they advertised in their commercials trailers. But got a downgrade in all game aspects...    … Expand

    Good: gameplay, side quests, multiplayer, multiplot story, cool sandbox, cool mechanics, and cool parkour (the best part of the game, every time you go to any mark, you're thinking how to get there, which way you can go faster and more handsome).
    Bad: bugs (a lot of, especially at story quests), no Italian (but it's pardonably), not that good story.

    Cons: Maybe it is just me but that ending felt like a gut punch, made me feel empty.

    Overall, very enjoyable game with great traversal system and a lot of enjoyable content with great level design. Few things hold the game back, but this is a easy recommend,

The bugs are absolutely awful ranging from invisible characters in cutscenes or no audio in cutscenes to the deathloop bug (dying over and over upon spawning) the story is just plain awful when it gets to the end and on top of that for finishing the game you get rewarded with leveling 1/4th of the map by missiles making the areas damn near unplayable and half the map being covered by fog. Honestly such a disappointing experience and I found out that 90% of the side missions are just parkour challenges and the ones that aren’t are fetch quests, so literally nothing exciting and not worth $60. The only thing good about this game is the parkour and the aspect of choosing a faction (which they could’ve executed better). Also the last thing the skull tree is so lack luster it’s almost despicable. Most of the skills you won’t find yourself using and a lack of variety in the skills too.… Expand

    The side quest can be funny, really. But feel a bit off when you‘re on a literally search mission for your sister.

    The combat feels nice and smooth and never had any trouble with it.

    You will face some minor framedrops (approximately 5-10 FPS when moving REALLY fast), but nothing unplayable.

    Overall people need to set their expectations lower and shouldn‘t hope that every game becomes a masterpiece.

    Seriously impressed! I know the game skipped some languages and people are pissed about it but that will be fixed. Other than that this game is smooth, runs great on pc, and after 40 hour’s I’m still playing it. Techland really put the gamers first, unlike most studio’s these day’s. Can’t wait for som dlc’s. (Only complaint is it favors nvidia and I use AMD)

    Best game Ever! This game is must have in library! I Love This Polish Game! I play almost 60hours nof now and still playing when i back from work . Game have fantastic combat, and weapons and graphics! And more.... Nice fun thanks Techland!

    Almost all areas of the game have been gutted and what new things they have added are just surface level at best. The movemtent is slower and clunky. The beloved grappling hook from the first game has been castrated of all forward momentum, and a paraglider has been given as an alternative, which lets you pleasently float around the city safely out of reach from zombies , both of these things spectacularly combine to neuter all kinetic, frantic energy of the chases found in the first game. Night time is less lethal and less scary. They have added a "chase meter" that you need to build to level 4 before it ever becomes a threat. Essentially making you the aggressor and diluting the whole horror experience that night time was meant to be. Want a good chase? Well better go out and make a conscious effort to make as much noise as possible. None of it is organic or naturally occuring.

    the other movement mechanics aren't really built on from the first game so the whole thing just feels like a total downgrade the graphics are what they are. some areas are pleasent enough, others are laughable bad The world feels less alive than ever despite being a city with factions, its less rewarding to explore, more repetitive, and it actually feels like less places are enterable.

    The faction system is completely surface level and doesn't even attempt to go deeper The story is serviceable. Not interesting or unique, but serves as an excuse that you are in the game.

    Ultimately the while thing feels like a huge flaccid underwhelming disapointment that only serves to make you want to go back and play DL1.    … Expand

    This is a review of my single player mode experience. I beat the main story after ~25 hours and completed around half of the side quests and activities.

    As a big fan of the first, (and gamer for nearly 20 years) I really wanted to love this game. Unfortunately, while not a "terrible" game as some reviews seem to suggest, there are enough disappointments that ruined the overall    This is a review of my single player mode experience. I beat the main story after ~25 hours and completed around half of the side quests and activities.

    As a big fan of the first, (and gamer for nearly 20 years) I really wanted to love this game. Unfortunately, while not a "terrible" game as some reviews seem to suggest, there are enough disappointments that ruined the overall experience for me. I'll break it down into the main aspects:

    Combat: While it flows smoothly and hit boxes seem accurate enough, it feels much more "cartoonish" and controlled than the first game and it lacks that same realistic grittiness from its predecessor. There are large health bars above enemy heads which makes it feel more like an arcade game than a realistic and immersive experience. For example: you whack an enemy in the head and rather than falling limply to the ground with a half-open scalp, he goes flying and spinning ten feet backwards in a ridiculous fashion. There are no guns in this game. Also, enemy levels and health scale with you as you progress, making weapon damage feel pointless. I never felt like I was actually doing more damage to enemies with a 120 dmg weapon vs a 60 dmg one.

    Nighttime: Nighttime is totally different. No more " sneak past the Volatiles roaming the streets, get spotted, and run frantically towards the safe house". Now it's "avoid the howlers planted every twenty meters" and eventually "fly over everything with the paraglider" Night chases are not as fun as in the first, nor as intense/frightening.

    Crafting: You can't craft weapons in this game. You can craft and stack various elements modifications and other items but can't make weapons or armor from scratch. You can't modify armor in any way. Only true "healing" item that can be crafted is your basic bandage, which takes about 4 seconds to use (wrapping animation, can't use weapons or run) I found this annoying in combat. Overall crafting was a letdown.

    Map: Bigger than the main game in DL1; no buggies/open driving like in "The Following" DLC. Broken into two parts: the first part is similar to the second area of Harran from DL1 (smaller buildings, more open areas), while the second map has many large budlings and skyscrapers.

    Parkour: The best part of the game by far. Movement is fluid, and traversing the city become easy and fun later on, especially when you upgrade the respective perks, like sliding, wall running, etc. (spoiler-ish) You get a paraglider and grappling hook at certain points in the story. The only real downside is that you can't run as fast as i would have hoped, at least not until you get a perk later on.

    Story: I wouldn't call it "horrible", but definitely not good, not as interesting as the first game in my opinion. The first few hours had me interested enough, but things just seemed to take on a life of their own too quickly after that. The pacing feels "off". Sometimes i struggled to keep up with what was going on and other times i had to think back "why are we doing this again?" There are choices that effect the ending, but i found it hard to really care about any of the characters, since the game never sticks you with the same one long enough for you to get a true feel for them. There are many classic cliches as well, and many times where i found myself waiting for the inevitable "floor creaks and of course you fall through into zombie-infested room" sort of thing. Not "bad" per-se, just very tired and expected plot elements. Also, Aiden (your character) is kind of a little b**ch sometimes. I wish they made him more of a "badass", like a hardened zombie killer by the end of the game, or at least gave you the option of whether to freak about certain things. Like, this guy has been alone on the road for four years fighting off God-knows how many infected: why is he freaking out over four bumbling corpses coming at him?". Side quests aren't really anything special. After the first dozen-or-so I felt no drive to complete them other than the experience points.

    Voice acting: Not terrible, but sometimes annoying. Some of the accents (American South, for instance) are just awful. Like, "when did we go from the middle east, to France, to Ireland, to some hillbilly backwoods in Georgia?" sort of thing. I found myself skipping through much of the dialogue just to get to the damn point. Facial animations are barely there: none of the characters felt "real" to me.

    Music: Intro is definitely not as bangin' as the first game's, nothing else really stuck out. No more darkwave/synth wave, industrial stuff like in the first. In fact, i can't even remember any of the music, which tells me it wasn't that good.

    Other annoyances: Aiden getting knocked down in every other cutscene by some generic a$$hat with a crowbar in the corner, because he didn't check behind the door (again).

    Overall: 6/10. Maybe wait for a sal    … Expand

    I'm playing the game with my friend who is enjoying it much more than i do. We only play on the weekends because of work. This game made me look forward to mondays/week days/work : )

    Was going to buy it (really enjoyed first Dying Light), but I will not, since personally I do not buy games with Denuvo. I am an honest person willing to pay even full price, not a criminal, and I do not like when someone treats me like a thief or a pirate.

    Świetna gra, niesamowita fabuła oraz grafika. Śmiało można powiedzieć iż gra przebiła oczekiwania fanów którzy czekali już na tą produkcję 7 lat. Wszystko co było do lekkiej poprawy w jedynce zostało nie tyle co poprawione lecz ulepszone a ogrywając dying lighta 2 nie doświadczycie momentów w których gra wam się znudzi. Warto było czekać te 7 lat. Polecam !

I simply don’t care what do I have to fetch or who do I have to save anymore. It’s Farcry 6.5 zombie edition or dying light for 10 year olds rather. Parkour is improved but somehow still less fun than the first game. The heart pumping action where you’re running from volatiles through the slums of Harran is just missing. Chases are still there but somehow it feels empty and lacklustre. Again,this is a last gen game with makeup on. Getting a bit sick and tired of those.Co-op is still fun. Just roaming in the night killing zombies together is a blast so i give this game a 6. It would be a 4 otherwise. I deleted it around 10 hours in just like i did with Farcry 6. Generic,generic,generic,boring,lazy writing,last gen graphics..did I mention generic… Expand

    Dying Light 2: Stay Human looks more like a DLC to the first game than a whole new one. This does not mean it is a bad game, but it is not one that you should rush to buy. It looks and feels like you are playing the same Dying Light from years ago, and despite the storytelling being solid and entertaining, it is not enough to justify buying it right now.

    Delivering a huge improvement on the first title, but lacking with new features, Dying Light 2 Stay Human is quite fun, brutal, rewarding and a game of exceptional quality when it comes to the open world. Minor issues still exist here, but Techland successfully manages to live up to the hype surrounding the game.
