    Basically you pay 70euros for a game that requires you to start a new character every 3 months, otherwise you wont be able to enjoy the new content. I dont have the time to grind 8 hours a day, i built my character to lvl 78 on what is now eternal realm, which became useless with the season 1. Now i am indirectly "forced" to start over, maybe even pay the battle pass to enjoy whats new.Basically you pay 70euros for a game that requires you to start a new character every 3 months, otherwise you wont be able to enjoy the new content. The few gems and uniques are a joke. The new season "questline" is a complete joke! The Season Journey is connected to the Battlepass ?! So without Battlepass you feel like you dont get the fully potential of your reward. Thats marketing psychology! They hunt for the whales instead of focusing what the community wants.

    So all in all the content of the Season 1 is:
    -Battlepass
    -Ingame Shop

    -> increasing player retention without adding new content
    -> increased player retention -> bigger profit

    Blizzard is completely out of touch with their own game. The most recent patch makes the game less fun. They don’t understand the mechanics of the game, resistances don’t work, Sorcerers are completely unplayable after the patch and were handicapped before it. The itemization is terrible, the aspects and affixes are convoluted and not fun.

    Lazy work on developer, unable to balance the actual issue so instead they nerf the overall game make ông playing experience almost unbearable. All the feedbacks from customers were ignored, the class that actually need help were nerfed to the ground. Developers were so out of touch with the game to the point of incompetent, too lazy of playing the actual game to know the exact problem.

    They continue to ignore player feedback and refuse to address obvious problems with the game. This game is under-developed, un-polished, and designed to waste your time. The game was released with lack of content, so they nerfed everything to the ground slowing player progression and then expect everyone to believe that wasn't the intention. We aren't the cash cow idiots you think we are.

The cost of rebuilding your character to try new things is only possible if you, once again play 10+hours a day and even then is just ridiculous. They had 3 previous games to build off of but decided they wanted to shoot for a more AARPG/MMO style game but then start taking out multiplayer aspects because they decided a small percent of players are leveling too fast and shining a spotlight on the fact they biffed the endgame? So the decision was to make leveling even worse for others so they dont have a chance to get there? Not everything is bad but if you throw a pearl in an elephant turd and people arent gonna glove up and look for the pearl. Collapse… Expand

    I created this account just to say I that I don't like this game. I loved d2 and d3. I'm not saying those were perfect games but I loved playing them.

    I find d4 to be unplayable. I enjoy a little grind and a little struggle when to best a boss but what is in d4 is too much. I don't have the time or the patience for it.

    It was a waste of money.

    i played a Sorc, they new of multiple bugs with them and simply stated they would not be fixing them for about 6 months (around the release of season 2) to ignore a class outright like that, then a major patch destroying what little defense they had as well as the only form of damage they had made the ONLY enjoyable class unplayable at high end, 1-50 easy but i can no longer farm NMD 85s,i played a Sorc, they new of multiple bugs with them and simply stated they would not be fixing them for about 6 months (around the release of season 2) to ignore a class outright like that, then a major patch destroying what little defense they had as well as the only form of damage they had made the ONLY enjoyable class unplayable at high end, 1-50 easy but i can no longer farm NMD 85s, i struggle in NMD 50s now, that patch was near sighted and Activision made it clear, blizzard is no more… Expand

    No, you didn't sit down and think.

    Iv played diablo since the ver first one and after all this time waiting for 4 these are my thoughts. First upon release I was pretty upset that it was pretty much diablo immortal and had ot wait this long Tobe let down. So I made other characters. 5 level 100s mid maxed 1 level 50 hxc not one super unique. Why even play what's the point. This season so far I'm level 77. Season rewards are a joke collected them at level 66 completely minus the ones locked per level. My first thoughts was well what am I gona do for 3 months! Same cosmetic just a little diff for ppl who paid. Lame. Shop is the same stuff just shuffled around and definitely need a better designer lol poe had the right idea. Completely bored at this point and I get I whizzed through it and it's not where most ppl are at but ppl like me are the ones who continue to play it and have been. Quality of like stuff is redic. From gems to let's just teleport you OUTSIDE the dungeon lol ffs. The horse -_- rework the hell out of that. Paragon reset plz. Per square and a all at once. I could keep going but all these years waiting to be handed soemthing where I get stuck by invisible walls and things truly aren't thought out. Sad to say a polished turd. Btw the music doesn't stuck like d2 does . Anyways just disappointed and after the huge patch and the lack of humility and questions awnsered in the campfire.     I officially uninstalled this game. Both campfires were garbage and talk about a philosophy that doesn't exist in game. Longevity of the game? When u reach end game and just static because you can't progress what's the point in continuing. No incentive in pushing t100 dungeons nothing. I'm utterly disappointed. Amongold was right.     The games state and lack of content (even after the upcomming 1.1.1 patch) really reflects how you as the consumer paid 90 USD/EUR for a game in beta stage. The game isnt ready for release for atleast 9-15 months. Shame on Activision.

    They complete destroyed the franchise with this game. The cinematics and scenery is fitting but that's about it. They give no player choice for playstyle despite what they have claimed over and over again. You cannot simply pick it up and play builds you make from within the game. Aspects are a terrible design choice and they are overly oppressive in terms of cost scarity and flat out design. You will need these aspects and put them onto rare pieces of gear to proceed in the game. Many of the good aspects are only random drops you would likely need to pay to extract, pay to place on a item, and then when you replace that item in the next 10 minutes you would need to find another aspect as you cant use the one you extracted more than once. Due to recent patch barb and sorc are unplayable. Necromancer the class pictured everywhere as a summoner is a class that does not work at all because minions are so terrible the ai on them is bad, they dont have colliders to block for you so enemies just walk past them and hit you. The ai is terrible for them. The damage is terrible for them. Necro only survives via bone spear build and that was recently nerfed as well. Blizzard has made it clear they don't care about making a fun game. Diablo 4 is just a battle pass and in game store receptacle to drain blizz simps of their money. They have no interest in making a fun/interesting game for the average person.… Expand

    Unbelievable failure by blizzard, outputting a half-baked game in development for many years, horrifying grinds (rep repeats) especially after nerfs (helltides, etc.) all while sporting an incredibly predatory and disgustingly bad battle pass (the worst i've seen in any game). 2x lvl 100 on eternal realm pre season 1, quit after. Might be good in a few years when they copy what they must from PoE.

There are 3 out of 5 playable characters, gem which bugs all damage from everyone in radius which also throws any damage balance out of window.     Developers have disappointed me. Sorcerer is always my main class and I enjoy trying different builds, but there are very few possible builds that are truly viable. The last update made this class even more difficult to play. I stopped playing until they correct the sorcerer and make the game fun again. And the sorcerer problems are just the tip of the iceberg, I am so saddened at theDevelopers have disappointed me.     There's a fair bit to like about Diablo IV — best-in-class sound design, intriguing character classes, fantastic graphics and occasionally addictive gameplay all feel like the series in its prime. However, even the best parts are let down by an undercurrent of frustrating design choices: the cynical inclusion of a Battle Pass, a bloated open world, repetitive mission structure and progression that too often feels meaningless cast a long shadow that let the latest Diablo title down. Future Seasons may refine what's here, but many of its issues sadly feel baked into the core experience. All but the most die-hard fans may wish to wait for a substantial sale on this one.

    The visuals are probably what excited me the most. The way the game looks and the atmosphere makes me feel like I'm playing the old Diablo again. On steroids and on a quadruple screen TV, but the feeling is still there. [Issue#328]
