    Don't buy unless you want to pay Blizzard to beta test their $70 game because they obviously didnt. A beautiful game with so much talent and promise behind it...with an out of touch dev team that is more motivated to do what is in their best interests instead of what is in the best interest for the player/community. A grindy disappointment with no endgame. What a waste

    Lazy game developer and greedy company. Have been a gamer almost 40 years and this is not worth the steep price. Boring compared to Diablo 3.

    I would recommend acquiring Malaria over Diablo 4. Blizzard really messed this game up since launch. So much meddling that they don't know what's up and down anymore.

    I typed why I think this game is awful in 3000 words but Metacritic does not allow such filth on their pages. So I will just play nice and give the game a zero as that is the highest it deserves.

    The recent patch sent me back to playing Support in Smite. Thats all the perspective you need. Boycott this garbage until Blizzard decides to apply meaningful updates rather than nerf their game by half in the hopes of making the cash cow last longer.

    I play sorcerer in game, and let me tell y’all something. With the recent patch we got, I feel like that new show that Tom Holland came out with called “The Crowded Room”. Blizzard “fixing” a game by making it worse is not such a fun experience for the fan base. The amount of **** we have to grind and the less damage we do makes me go play Path of Exiles.

    Patch 1.1 has destroyed this game. I've always been a big Diablo fan and loved the Betas for Diablo 4 but it has got progressively worse with each patch up to the point of it has become a chore to play. I was looking forward to Season 1 but now I don't even care to play the game again as I stands right now

    I am level 100 since multiply weeks and the patch really felt like a massive downgrade in everything. I don´t understand why these massive changes needed to be done where things like 40% have been adjusted - these are heavily game designing differences. But practically for me after being 670 hours ingame, that nows feels like a massive funchpunch and my character is much weaker. I had max rolled items which are now min rolles, so I practically lost a lot of gold. Everything takes much longer now and you get less rewards. No Quality of Life features like new stash space have been added, it was really balancing downgrades only. Giving this patch without anything giving back (like add fun or rewards) - feels like a massive disappointment. Hence this rating and I hope it will be fixed.… Expand

    Do. Not. Buy. Wait till this goes on sale in a few years. I very much regret my decision, especially with the new "Fun Nerf" patch where what little fun was in the game has been taken out. Blizzard continues to prove they don't care about their fans or player base. I'll be deleting this to free up space and call it a sunk cost.

    Paid $100 to beta test a AAA title with next to no end game, season 1 had tons of changes, non of them address any of the quality of life problems in the systems built into this game, maybe in a few more beta iterations (seasons) some of it will be ironed out and they will have a complete product, don’t waste as much time as I have on this.

    Avoid purchasing this game, you will get less than mediocre ARPG experience. Developers doesn't understand what's going on and the patches being implemented seems solely based on what the SQL queries return on most popular/unpopular. There is no deep understanding of the classes/game issues and it seems to take years before this can be fixed.

    Don't fall for the Diablo trademark, this is    Avoid purchasing this game, you will get less than mediocre ARPG experience.     Don't fall for the Diablo trademark, this is far from the original Diablo experience, and I've played all 4 of them. Blizzard slowly trading their reputation for money.

    At the game's release, I was hopeful but cautious given Blizzard's recent history. The game at the state of launch was seriously lacking, but the potential of season 1 fixing a lot of the fundamental issues and end-game bulk kept my hopes up. It is obvious to me now that the developers have absolutely no passion for this game, and the release is purely fuelled by monetary decisions.     This game would have been east to make great but Blizzard keeps shooting themselves in the foot. They need to remove move legendary items the people got due to their own bugs, increase drops so it's actually possible to get good loot in say, 100 hours of killing the same boss repeatedly, which is currently ISNT. Stop putting out patches that make everything WORSE rather than better. StopThis game would have been east to make great but Blizzard keeps shooting themselves in the foot.     It was 5 stars, after update 0!they ruined the game.
    2 50 cinders is way to much for mystery chest, and the drop rate is much lower. 40min to farm 250

    El juego tenía potencial hasta la salida del parche 1.1.0 nerfearon las builds más usadas pero no dieron una mejora a ninguna otra, ahora se obtiene menos exp. Los mobs tienen más vida y los personajes hacen menos daño además de resistir menos.

Can’t complete any endgame content because every class is so incredibly weak. Can’t get any good loot to improve your class and the game is a complete chore to play.     The level design is terrible. The combat is boring and repetitive. It's too sluggish and even worse than Immortal. No game with an isometric view should be costing $70. When I pay $70, I expect top-notch AAA quality. The fact that Blizzard makes so much money and still make shovelware proves how greedy and lazy they are.this game is online only. So once the developers decide to shut downThe level design is terrible. The combat is boring and repetitive. It's too sluggish and even worse than Immortal.     There's a fair bit to like about Diablo IV — best-in-class sound design, intriguing character classes, fantastic graphics and occasionally addictive gameplay all feel like the series in its prime. However, even the best parts are let down by an undercurrent of frustrating design choices: the cynical inclusion of a Battle Pass, a bloated open world, repetitive mission structure and progression that too often feels meaningless cast a long shadow that let the latest Diablo title down. Future Seasons may refine what's here, but many of its issues sadly feel baked into the core experience. All but the most die-hard fans may wish to wait for a substantial sale on this one.

    The visuals are probably what excited me the most. The way the game looks and the atmosphere makes me feel like I'm playing the old Diablo again. On steroids and on a quadruple screen TV, but the feeling is still there. [Issue#328]
