    Diablo 4 is utter and complete dogshlt after the patch 1.1 release. The game was fun prior to that. Blizzard decided in their ducking stupidity to punish players and rob them of the hundreds hours played by essentially making everyones’ characters into meat bags that the monsters in the game can decimate. My Necromancer level 74 character now consistently gets killed in every activity.Diablo 4 is utter and complete dogshlt after the patch 1.1 release. The game was fun prior to that.     I created an account here just to ALERT whoever is thinking of spending money buying this game to think again. It was already bad before the latest patch, but now it's just impossible to play with so many bugs and with the rise of difficulty. The game freezes during the worst battles and you keep dying. It's frustrating. Like others said, they've destroyed the game. I'm uninstalling it andI created an account here just to ALERT whoever is thinking of spending money buying this game to think again.     Cannot recommend to buy this game in the state it is in, spent £70 at launch and haven't had a single play session that hasn't been completely ruined by game breaking server lag. The Devs seem more interested in nerfing fun builds than sorting the issues which i seeing plaguing online forums with server connectivity issues. Also cannot get a refund due to Playstation store policy so if youCannot recommend to buy this game in the state it is in, spent £70 at launch and haven't had a single play session that hasn't been completely ruined by game breaking server lag. It's an absolute mess and a slap in the face to loyal fans who have been eagerly awaiting improvements to this highly anticipated game. I'm baffled at how the developers managed to make things even worse with this update.

    First and foremost, the promised new content is nothing but a joke. Instead of delivering on exciting and innovative gameplay elements, all we got were a few lackluster quests that felt repetitive and uninspired. It's almost as if the developers just threw together some random fetch quests and called it a day. There's no depth, no storytelling, and no sense of immersion.

    On top of that, the patch introduced a plethora of game-breaking bugs and glitches. It's mind-boggling how such critical issues made it past any sort of quality control. From crashes that force players to restart their game repeatedly to game-breaking exploits that ruin the experience for everyone, it's clear that the developers didn't bother to test this patch before releasing it. The lack of attention to detail is glaring, and it makes the game nearly unplayable.

    But the disappointment doesn't end there. Diablo IV's Season 1 patch also managed to somehow make the game's graphics worse. How is that even possible? The once impressive and atmospheric visuals have been downgraded to a point where it feels like I'm playing a game from a decade ago. The art style that initially drew players into the dark and haunting world of Diablo has been diluted, leaving behind an unremarkable and forgettable experience.

    Even the new character additions are underwhelming. Instead of bringing in unique and engaging classes to diversify gameplay, we get lackluster variations of existing ones. It's lazy and shows a complete lack of creativity on the part of the development team. Players deserved better, and this patch just feels like a cheap attempt to stretch the already thin content even further.

    Furthermore, the supposed balance changes have only made matters worse. Some classes have been nerfed to the ground, while others have been buffed to the point of being overpowered. The result is a frustrating and uneven playing experience that leaves players feeling disheartened and cheated.

    In conclusion, Diablo IV's Season 1 patch is an absolute disaster. It fails to deliver on its promises of exciting new content, introduces game-breaking bugs, downgrades the graphics, and offers lackluster character additions. As a long-time fan of the franchise, I can't help but feel betrayed by the developers' lack of respect for the players. I can only hope they learn from this colossal failure and make the necessary improvements to salvage what's left of this once-great franchise.     I did have fun for a bit but the micro transactions and battlepass are gonna kill diablo for me. Its very clear the focus is on those, they've developed the Battlepasses and won't even have leaderboards for multiple seasons. That is insane considering the competition is literally the point of seasons. But obviously those micro transactions are the only priority to them.

    is a cash grab wouldn't recommend buying this game. the devs nerfed everything to the ground instead of fixing the main problems. limited stash tabs, devs are out of touch with fans, playerbase and casual players, lackluster gameplay. it gets boring after finishing the story of the game, everythings been nerfed and its not fun to play anymore.

    >There's a specific enemy in the game that's not too common but when they appear, 9 times out of ten the enemy will be OFFSCREAN and shoot a powerful projectile at you. Yes, I'm referring to the Skeleton Corpse Bow. Given this skeletal range, I feel like this wouldn't be problem with a ZOOM OUT function but Blizzard said **** that noise".

    Also Diablo Immortal thousand. In Diablo IV i've reached lv 90 then put it aside. Since lv 75 nothing to do. Nothing to aim at. I mean: it's not a bad game, but my vote it's about what it could have been after 12 years from diablo 3. I'm not complaining about hard game. This can be adjusted. But    The other games are better than this one.

    No social, no pvp event. I've been in a clan and almost never spoke. no event together.
    Blzz should have learned from diablo immortal.
    I've kept repeating same dungeons for hours from 75 to 90 without any benefit.

    I played d3 with my partner a lot, and had a bunch of fun. We tried d4 even started season 1. The game has better graphics but is worse in every way. There are no fun things to do. Outfits are boring. Customization of characters is ok. PvP is broken so not sure why they dont have more classes and wild skills that could be like fun. The game really feels like watching the 20th super heroI played d3 with my partner a lot, and had a bunch of fun. We tried d4 even started season 1. The game has better graphics but is worse in every way. There are no fun things to do. Outfits are boring. Customization of characters is ok. PvP is broken so not sure why they dont have more classes and wild skills that could be like fun. The game really feels like watching the 20th super hero movie written by ai. Polished turds. I can tell the workers are trying hard but the leadership is likely full of idiots hitting their desk and yelling. The campaign didnt give one choice even thoigh it kept alluding to you being able to make a choice. I really put so much effort into enjoying this game and making an enjoyable experience for my partner and sadly we both hated it... for the 60+ hours played, no more than 5 hours of fun. Customizing character and horse skins were about the only thing fun. Good loot is just not a thing in this game.… Expand

I have bronchitis and was looking forward to playing a rogue again but the leveling hasn't made it very fun distraction. I finally got up to level 23 and it felt like I was still low level as I had to be careful with just the standard mobs of enemies as they level up with you. Unlocking newI wouldn't recommend if you're looking for a casual game of killing mobs of monsters for fun. I have bronchitis and was looking forward to playing a rogue again but the leveling hasn't made it very fun distraction. I finally got up to level 23 and it felt like I was still low level as I had to be careful with just the standard mobs of enemies as they level up with you. Unlocking new skills isn't really exciting either. I forgot to level up multiple times as the skill s were very underwhelming to me. I had 4 skill points I used right before I quit and I felt like I was even less effective than before I used them.

    It also seems like they went backwards from Diablo 3 on many things. Diablo 3 was more dynamic in both characters and environment. Also I miss the console's inventory system. I think I'll play that instead of 4 the next time I feel like playing Diablo.    … Expand

    No Endgame like in D3 - So no Meta race:
    I played D3 for years and now - after a short breake of D4 - again, cause there is no competition. And I dont blame them for season - i know its starts new and i liked it.
    But ... THE BIG MISTAKE: You cant begin from start like in D3 and bring thinks the next few years. I want them from beginning in D4 and then something new. So there is no    No Endgame like in D3 - So no Meta race:

    I loved the game, a master piece on day one... Nerfed soc class as much as anyone could, making new players create a new character for seasonal content, not even listening to their community... Blizzard couldn't have done a worse job honestly. So disappointed.

    I started with sorceress at first and decided that it was a complete disappointment at level 72 and switched to Rogue. although sorceress was fun to play, the damage was seriously lacking compared to other classes. I also made rogue level 100, it was fun and i had a strong build (6,000,000 damage).. but as I progressed, I got pretty bored because I couldn't even change the build becauseI started with sorceress at first and decided that it was a complete disappointment at level 72 and switched to Rogue. although sorceress was fun to play, the damage was seriously lacking compared to other classes. I also made rogue level 100, it was fun and i had a strong build (6,000,000 damage).. but as I progressed, I got pretty bored because I couldn't even change the build because no better items were dropped between level 70 and 100, and the monster were getting stronger and stronger. That build is nerfed too.
    I was excited that season 1 would come out and I started the druid character and I really didn't like playing with such a slow character. Although I hoped that the new season will strengthen the characters, I was disappointed to see that caged hearts did not work at all. The game I gave for 90 euros and over 200 hours would have been wasted if it weren't for my friends playing with me. And my biggest problem with the game is that no matter what character I play, the character always feels the same.. Hit the basic skill, do damage with the right button, and hit 4 defensive skills. .. I don't understand the lack of skills that can be thrown into an area like acid cloud or blizzard in d3. I think, the skill cast has been removed so that the game can be played in the same way on PlayStation. I do not recommend buying the game before it drops to 20 euros.    … Expand

    I still play various versions of D2:LoD and POE and have leveled at least hundreds of characters to the end game. I actually enjoy the leveling process and getting a big power spike with a new skill or item is one of the best gaming feelings. However, I couldn't level a second character (despite it being a Rogue) without it feeling like a complete chore. My first character hit level 96 (whirlwind barb) in the eternal realm and the whole thing felt like a brain dead grind after level 60ish.

    I have always set my bar low for this game despite the fact that a lot of friends had hyped it for years and the game is still worse than I expected. Not to mention it feels like any nerf/buffs made in the game are tested or creative in the way they do it. It feels like the simply look social media content and give it a (decreased damage by x%) change which nerfs the ability across all levels and not just where it was needed.

    For the game to be great imo (I am a gamer and play a lot of ARPGs) they need to stop catering to shareholders and "casual players" and start mimicking my favorite ARPG, POE. Blizz needs to replace their leadership and dev team for this IP but I have a feeling this will never happen. They've made their money through their marketing and branding and will continue to do so through over priced in-game skins and QOL features (Trust me, its coming).    … Expand

    Very boring, very very boring. But graphics are good i can say. Skills looks weak, skill tree looks weak. No dept of the game and character creation. I will try again after few years, maybe there will be any endgame content. For now, its just main story. Game for one time.

    I think it's outrageous that if I want to play single player I have to wait for some updates I don't need to connect to the server. not everyone has a few hours a day to record. I have half an hour after putting the baby to sleep to play and at this point I'm waiting 20 minutes to turn on the game.

    Diablo 4 seems like an unfinished game, with scarce content and monotonous gameplay. The only fun that was there has been nerfed by patches or hotfixes. Equipment is hard to farm, the pace of nightmare dungeons is sluggish, changing builds is difficult, and the backpack and warehouse are pitifully small. I have no idea what fun is left in this game.

    The best Diablo-like game in history! Its skill tree design is so retro, as if going back 30 years. The map design is incredibly realistic, with exquisitely detailed scenes devoid of any demons. Its gaming concept is so selfless, bringing more popularity and players to other Diablo-like games. Let me say it again, this is the best Diablo-like game ever!

    This is not a video game, it is a gateway to a casino style game.

    I played the main campaign to the end, and it was entertaining for the first few hours. 75% of the main campaign is just grind the same things until the end. I put the game down after i finishe dthe main campaign, i came back once to try the higher level stuff... and just uninstalled the launcher. No reason to touch it again.

    This has been the worst game I've ever played. Constant lags, disconnects (record was 3 disconnects in 5 minutes).

    I've asked for a refund for Diablo IV and hope other people enjoy playin' it. For me, it legit was the worst game I've ever played.

    Could i please ask for a refund, the game is completely half baked, tons of bugs, clearly the developers have no ideas how to create a proper game, blizzard has used up all its fame and glory.

    Please allow microsoft to purchase blizzard and revitalize it. goddamn activision

Obviously, D4 team is too arrogant and treat players are idiots since they already got the money. The season 1 experience is completely destroyed for Rogue player after they ninja fix the poison.     Zero I.Q. enemies.
    Awful world and exploration.
    Only good thing are cutscenes.

    There's a fair bit to like about Diablo IV — best-in-class sound design, intriguing character classes, fantastic graphics and occasionally addictive gameplay all feel like the series in its prime. However, even the best parts are let down by an undercurrent of frustrating design choices: the cynical inclusion of a Battle Pass, a bloated open world, repetitive mission structure and progression that too often feels meaningless cast a long shadow that let the latest Diablo title down. Future Seasons may refine what's here, but many of its issues sadly feel baked into the core experience. All but the most die-hard fans may wish to wait for a substantial sale on this one.

    The visuals are probably what excited me the most. The way the game looks and the atmosphere makes me feel like I'm playing the old Diablo again. On steroids and on a quadruple screen TV, but the feeling is still there. [Issue#328]
