Mar 21, 2017Game developed without "heart" and a thousand production problems.
The members of the old Bioware are gone, and it shows.
(PS: not EVER buy on day one) -

Mar 21, 2017A total disaster. A bland story without soul, stupid characters, technical flaws in the animations that destroy emotional involvement with them and changes in combat that make them simpler than the previous ones. A turd covered with silk. A loss of money and time
-
Mar 21, 2017poor combat, horrible animation, excessive padding, and over-complication. The AI is a mess. If the AI is bad in the first 10 hours, it's going to be bad throughout the game. There's no reason why it would suddenly magically improve later.

Mar 21, 2017Overhyped video game, that fails to deliver most of the expectations. You think a game that was delayed multiple times would have no technical issues, but Bioware manages to screw it up. Very disappointing game.

Mar 21, 2017This game is bad.
It shouldnt be released.
Animations are worse than some ps2 games, and they dont even fit. There are thousands of bugs. Story is childish and dialogues are bad.
This is mass effect in name only. -

Mar 21, 2017Terribly made game that needed another few months to so the characters felt like characters and not robots. This is not mass effect. Your choices DONT matter unlike the great trilogy.

Mar 21, 2017Playing just over 20 hours, we can say that playable, the game is not as good as the previous parts, but playable.
At its 8 (with a stretch of course), she deserved, but only with the stretch set as a fan of the series. -

Mar 21, 2017Just. Horible.
This is not Mass Effect game. This is not what the fans were waiting for, nor "just a good game for newcomers". Sure, you've killed Dragon Age, for two times ina row now, but good god, the latest ME game was already not very good, and then you're giving us this peace of space junk? Pffsht. Nope.
EA, please, stop killing good companies and franchises. Just stop. -

Mar 21, 2017The technical problems of the game are things that should've been fixed before release. The technical issues can be fixed with patches and updates though. However, you can't patch horrible dialogue and amateur voice acting. A below average game, made by a below average development team. I want my money and my time back.

Mar 21, 2017A game that is once again hit with the bandwagon of people who hate on a game because everyone else is. COD suffered from this last year. The game is truly mesmerising and outstanding. Played 10hrs+ and have had zero animation glitches. 9.5/10 from me. Truly a masterpiece.

Mar 21, 2017Overall good game but things still need to be addressed hopefully the animations in at least the main story and the general bugs can be fixed soon but going over all the animations may be to tall an order.

Mar 21, 2017Flawed but a solid entry into the series. If you're a Mass Effect fan you will find the experience enjoyable. Tech issues are indeed a problem at the moment, but it's nothing a patch or two can't fix.

Oct 19, 2017It might be the biggest, most complex and action packed game in the franchise, but Mass Effect: Andromeda is also the least convincing one. The dated facial animations, the inconsistent writing quality and the regularly occurring bugs take you out of the experience too often. On top of that, BioWare has not used the concept of a whole new universe to its full potential, which often makes it feel like Mass Effect: Andromeda has not left our Milky Way at all.

Playstation Official Magazine AustraliaJul 7, 2017While it’s underwhelming in places, there’s a lot to like as you venture into the weirder parts of Andromeda. Frequent technical issues hamper the experience a bit, as does an uninspiring main story. [June 2017, p66]

Games Master UKJun 6, 2017A welcome, if slightly patch return for Mass Effect. The script has problems, but combat is bloody brilliant. [May 2017, p.62]
