    Bought this game for £20 and I still feel ripped off, why Square Enix / Crystal Dynamics felt an Avengers game needs to be a live service looter is beyond rational thought. The core gameplay is a monotonous trudge through the same corridors and levels, doing the same capture and hold points or defeat all enemies objectives. Melee combat which is 90% of this game feels spongy as all hell,Bought this game for £20 and I still feel ripped off, why Square Enix / Crystal Dynamics felt an Avengers game needs to be a live service looter is beyond rational thought. The core gameplay is a monotonous trudge through the same corridors and levels, doing the same capture and hold points or defeat all enemies objectives. Melee combat which is 90% of this game feels spongy as all hell, like your attacks aren't even connecting. In a world with God of War and the Arkham series, how you can screw up melee combat this bad is baffling. The worst crime this game commits other than the live service nonsense is that it makes all your heroes feel weak as candy floss in a bucket of water - if even basic grunt enemies are as little as 2 power levels higher than you, you die in a just a handful of hits. The Hulk should not die in 3 hits. Well done Crystal / Square - you took the hottest property in the past 20 years and p*ssed all over it.… Expand

    discount destiny with marvel characters, grindy gameplay lootboxes with cosmetic items upgrading your character is a grind, poorly written dialogues and Kamala Khan is forced into the story, awful faces on the character models, and all u do is punch robots in the entire game, what a disappointment.

    First off, it had a good campaign and good DLC and okay gameplay and i am excited for more to come but I have noticed a lot of glitches in my gameplay and the graphics are very mediocre. And the fact they kept trying to put Kamala out there kind of ruins it but very good campaign overall. But the Multiplayer is overall not very good at all, the missions are very repetitive and getsFirst off, it had a good campaign and good DLC and okay gameplay and i am excited for more to come but I have noticed a lot of glitches in my gameplay and the graphics are very mediocre. And the fact they kept trying to put Kamala out there kind of ruins it but very good campaign overall. But the Multiplayer is overall not very good at all, the missions are very repetitive and gets annoying and I wish they put fun and value into them. And they should’ve improved their power system because it gets too greedy at times and drains the energy and fun out of you and if they fixed all that, maybe the game would’ve not flopped. I am very disappointed that this game fell. Hopefully they’ll improve in their GOTG game.… Expand

    Marvel's Avengers has some weird quirks to it. When I first played this game I was hoping for level designs similar to that of Spider-Man PS4, and the Arkham games, but unfortunatelyMarvel's Avengers has some weird quirks to it. Which is a weird style of game to rip off for an Avengers game, but even then this game fails at making the loot useful. I never felt like the loot was actually worth picking up, and overall the base of the online component of the game was just... useless to be honest. Now, many people have been saying that this game has a good enough story to warrant a 6 or 7/10, but I don't agree with those people at all. The story isn't bad, but introduces things in a weird way. Like most of the story just kinda shows up, and if you don't read a lot of comics I can see how some of the story can be really confusing. I also feel like this game should've had more villains and boss fights in it, but it only has 2 supervillains. Which is pretty underwhelming. Of course the main problem with the game is the bugs. I have experienced so many glitches that made me restart checkpoints, and tons of frame rate dips, as well as pop-in, the technical issues that were shown in this game were proof in my opinion that this game should've been delayed and better tested before release. Overall, I had some fun with this game, but it wasn't a lot, and I feel really disappointed by this game in general. If I was given the choice I'd probably give it like 2.75/10, but I think 3/10 is fine enough, if you don't care about technical problems, and just want a basic button masher with mediocre combat... I don't know why you would, but I would say that this an okay game for you, but if you're looking for a high quality marvel game... well this ain't it, Overall it was a very disappointing experience… Expand

But things change after I met Hawkeye storyline’s boss. I found the most annoying boss in my decades’ video game experience: about only 6 times’ mistakes are allowed in about 15min’s battle in which even with a perfect dodge, I can be hit, and beyond attack preview red zone I can be stunned.

    Everything’s broken, glitched or (in the best scenario) just bugged, DON’T buy this game, it’s been almost a year after launch and we’ve only got more and more lazy MTX €15 each, the “different suits” are just recolors (from €10 to €15), you have to pay for the “free” content if you want to play it fully (€10 for each character except the original 6 avengers).     I've no doubt this is the worst video game i've ever played, after 8 months from the relise the game is still full of bug and the worst part is that seems that no one of the developers cares about it. That gets important when you die three or four times on a platforming section.

    I also thought the game was a little bit overcomplicated, with a few too many skill tree categories and gear types/bonuses and mission types and etc—but then again, I like single player campaigns, so that’s what I was looking for: A simple story game. Someone who likes online multiplayer looters will enjoy this more, maybe.

    But with all that out of the way, I liked the cinematic value of the game, and I liked that they stayed true to making the Avengers look as awesome as possible, which is a big part of the Avengers schtick. This game gave me and my 11-year-old kid, an Avengers fan, a happy memory together.

    7.5/10, but for Metacritic purposes I’ll round it up to an 8.    … Expand

    La historia muy blandita e insulsa, podría ser BASTANTE mejor, y en mi caso, viniendo de Marvel's Spiderman vine de una obra maestra y me topé con un juego a medias.

    This game never should've been released on 8 gen. 720p and 20fps is a **** joke, ridiculous. Not worth any money. If you really need to try it play it through ps now, but don't pay for ps now just for avengers, not worth it as well.

    Its disappointing how uninspired everything is, from the tired, repetitious level design to the drab environments, nameless enemies and the unnecessary loot structure. Although each character has a fairly unique moveset, the combat doesn't have a good feel to it and the fights lack impact. The game also runs very poorly on the PS4.

    Overall this is a very middling package and one that falls way short of the mark given the source material. Marvel's Avengers is a live service but I don't believe it offers enough compelling gameplay to warrant sticking with it.    … Expand

    Our whole family loves this game. The reviews scared me away but our youngest really wanted it so we took a chance. Glad we did. Looking forward to more from this but this is a really fun game.

It let's you play avenger from time to time, but after about 5 hours with the game, I can say that for majority of it, game makes you play unknown teenage girl, which is not only boring but simply bad character.     Take one part Ultimate Alliance and add one part extract of Destiny, then stir vigorously. Bake until only half-done, then cover with a thick layer of F2P jank and pointless microtransactions. Serve with a fat blunt garnish, and try to imagine that you're playing a worthy successor to old-school superhero brawlers.

Especially with the next-gen patch and a good surround system the gameplay is really fun, smooth, fluent and the destruction you do is immersive and now the inevitable BUT is coming. This game has so much potential with all the characters you can play and the levels they created but the gameplay itself feels very boring to me.

    The game loop is basically find your new level clean it up, do some sidestuff (which is basically all the same: either unlocking a door for loot or finding loot). The levels are too bland especially the ones now in a city. Again, the visuals are impressive but the gameplay felt so boring to me. Also one thing I realized is that I didnt feel like skilling into anything because the skill descriptions were unintuitive. So I pushed my specials most of the time. I felt like missing out on stuff but it felt really complicated.

    The other thing is that the missions are quite repetitive and for the story missions you have to swap between characters (you are forced to) which is kind of nice because you play them all at times but the item and level system feel so enraging because every new character will be level 1 and naked. So you level them again, the enemies scale to you so it is okay but you loot yourself through crap over and over and over. And there are like.. more then a handful characters. The campaign length with the latest Future Imperfect DLC feature around 20hrs of playtime if you dont rush through and so some side stuff (not 100%ing everything).

    My verdict is very undecisive. I had fun with this game. I love the sound and the visuals. But the game loop and the skill system feel horrible to me. I liked the characters a lot but levling and looting them all over again sucked. I bought it for around 20 bucks which seems a fair price, even 30 might be okay. I m no hardcore fan so it was okay for me but I feel some really die-hard fans will be very disappointed. I think they missed a huge opportunity with this game but it is still by all means not bad.    … Expand

    I really love marvel and video games, but there are just so many bugs, quality of life improvements, and balancing. The boss battles are very underwhelming and have way too much health and don't attack frequently. What I mean by this is heros like hulk and black widow get staggered and make enemies staggered at the same rate. Smaller enemies should not be able to continue throw an attack animation when getting punched in the face by hulk, and smaller enemies should not be able to interrupt his attacks. He also doesn't seem to have a crazy more amount of health or jump height compared to black widow.… Expand

    Marvel's Spider-Man (and spin-off Miles Morales) on PS4 and PS5 is a marvel of a game. Marvel's Avengers is the exact opposite of a marvelous game.

    The problem is that Crystal Dynamics wanted to make a live service game without knowing how to actually make it. And because they designed it as a GaaS, there is no skill in this game's combat system, unlike the 2 games developed by    Marvel's Spider-Man (and spin-off Miles Morales) on PS4 and PS5 is a marvel of a game. Marvel's Avengers is the exact opposite of a marvelous game.

    The problem is that Crystal Dynamics wanted to make a live service game without knowing how to actually make it. And because they designed it as a GaaS, there is no skill in this game's combat system, unlike the 2 games developed by Insomniac Games. You just have to deal damage to sponges, unleash powers and ultimates, and heal yourself, just like you would if you were playing a MMO. This design decision contradicts the very nature of superheroes. Can you imagine, for example, the Hulk being kicked in the ass by puny robots one quarter his size and them not being smashed with one hit? Or Thor swinging Mjolnir into human enemies and them still being alive after the hit? That's what we see in this game.

    I managed to play just the intro (which is easily the best part of the game) and a couple early missions where I had to deal with waves of spawning and re-spawning enemies in enclosed arenas for an eternity. Then I had enough. And that little girl Kamala Khan aka Miss Marvel is actually very annoying, on top of being a forced diversity/woke/SJW BS.

    On PS4 performance is capped at 30 fps, but good luck with all the 20 fps drops when the action really heats up with dozens of enemies on screen.

    Yeah, I hate MMOs and loot-based games such as Destiny and The Division. But I'm pretty sure even people who like these genres would really dislike Marvel's Avengers. And I'm surprised we got a GaaS game by Square Enix instead of EA or Activision. I just wish Disney had allowed Sony to make an Avengers game.    … Expand

    Terrible writing could have saved this game and made it better. So the story is short but we can look forward to end game content which is nice.
    Oh wait end game content is the same content over and over again. It’s also extremely grindy. Don’t buy this game. Don’t play this game. Don’t give them any of your money. You’ll waste your time wondering when the fun starts. Very lazy    … Expand

Ship it out to the millions of children begging their parents to buy them this game.

    THEY NEED THIS GAME. IT LETS YOU PLAY AS AVENGERS. PLEASE MOMMY I MUST HAVE IT. What does all of this sound like? Wait, i think i figured it out. It sounds like MONEY MONEY MONEY.

    Absolute disgrace to the gaming industry. Square turning into the next bethesda with this dismal entry. The stench of greed flows out of this pure mediocrity. Gaming is becoming just another marketing technique.. it's being invaded. Games will never be the same.

    An avengers game should have been something to CELEBRATE. It should have been amazing, open world, deep story. NOT THIS. The campaign was short, but I was excited to get through it to get into what I assumed the "real" game was: Playing online with friends. That proved to be wildly underwhelming, as each mission felt almost identical and the grind of leveling characters just somehow wasn't satisfying enough.

    A couple of the characters are fun to play as, namely Thor, but playing as him really began to solidify the problem of feeling underpowered, as a lightning charged hit from Mjolnir only dinks away at a basic enemy's health rather than shattering them. The enemy units are wildly uncreative, just an assortment of the same few robot and armored troop designs, and they just aren't satisfying to fight.

    The cosmetics are another huge problem with the game, as most of the upgrades for your characters don't apply any cosmetic changes, and the skins available are all somehow more goofy looking than anything from the classic comics.

    The new Hawkeye/ Kate Bishop update seems to be too little, too late, but I may check it out if it's free. I've already thrown away more money than this game deserved.

    Also... where's that PlayStation exclusive free Spider-Man DLC I was told about??    … Expand

I hesitated buying it because of that but after deciding to try it for myself i actually really enjoyed it for the story, cinematics and gameplay. I can see how with some refining of the multi-player and adding more content it could have a lot of depth too. But for the story mode alone, i found it totally worth the time and money.

    Entertaining story-driven game that reimagines the Marvel universe in interesting ways. Gameplay can be repetitive but it is beautiful and I really enjoy playing as the different heroes. I bought it on deep discount during the holidays and it has been worth every bit of the money and time I have invested.

    Anything. Nope. Just bland, lifeless characters in bland, lifeless missions taking place in bland, lifeless levels.

    Also, it's got more bugs than a 3rd world country bathroom.

It just seems a little rushed and honestly another year could've done wonders. It seems the developers plans were to get it out even if it's not ready and fix everyone post launch. Problem is players leave and with an online game like this that's a big problem. I'll be honest I still boot it up once a day or so just to play as Thor because it looks and feels pretty awesome. This video game market is lacking very good superhero games so this is really the best multiplayer hero game right now. I have faith post launch DLC will revitalize this game but as it stands it's a decent fun experience I think everything should try the campaign atleast. 6/10 now. 4/10 at launch and at it's absolute best 8.5/10… Expand

    The graphics and the music is okay my problems with this game is the story and gameplay the story went from interesting to boring in a few hours of playtime most of the time during gameplay you either go to your objective or fight bad guys in different places you will do this more often to the point it gets more repetitive.

    Если кто то ждал сходства с фильмами, то обломится. Герои не имеют ничего общего с киношными образами. И если в Spider-Manе это прокатило, так как если не ошибаюсь вышло три фильма с разными Паркерами, то в Мстителях актеры были одни и те же на протяжении четырех серий, не считая сольников.
    И так, что же мне не понравилось. Ну во-первых геймплей. Он здесь за разных героев. Короче привыкаешь к одному, а тут на тебе играй за другого, снова привыкай. Целостность игры сильно страдает. Когда открылись все герои то понял, что Iron Мan это такой имбовый вариант. Он хорош в ближнем бою, хорош в дальнем, у него неплохие суперспособности, он очень быстро передвигается. Плюс ко всему он летает и в отличии от Тора, летать на нем удобно. И полет в игре очень помогает в бою с огромными боссами, а также доставать всякие сундучки! Я начал прокачивать Iron Мanа и вдруг игра закончилась! И это второй недостаток, очень короткий сюжет.
    Визуально игра звёзд с неба не хватает, выглядит хуже Marvel’s Spider-Man с которой игру часто сравнивали до релиза, но ошибались. Сравнивать надо было с Agents of Mayhem, игры близки и геймплейно, и визуально, и концептуально.
    Да в игре есть побочные миссии, но выглядят они и проходятся абсолютно так же как и сюжетные, причем на абсолютно тех же картах. И это ещё один недостаток игры. Я насчитал всего четыре различные карты.
    Порадовал сюжет, за персонажами приятно наблюдать, но и это умудрились спустить в унитаз, так как сюжет слишком короток и к этим самым героям не успеваешь привыкнуть. Вообще меня порадовало начало игры за мисс Марвел, но всё это упёрлось в местный хабчик (летающий крейсер Химера), как в Anthem, и начались унылые задания типа: пойди найди, пойди принеси, пойди освободи, пойди подними уровень.
    В игру можно играть в кооперативе, но думаю это вряд ли сильно улучшит положение.
    Резюмирую. Всё выше сказанное просто разрушает то, что делает игру затягивающей и интересной, а именно атмосферу самой игры.
    А без игровой атмосферы, проходить данное произведение, просто скучно!    … Expand

    This game is terrible compared despite all of the hype for the game. I have waited for this since September 2019 and when I got it and finished the campaign it was very disappointing. It gets so repetitive as you take control of an area by sitting in a circle or take command posts. Iron Man was sort of cool though. :(

    This game is not worth 70 bucks. Or 60. Or 50 for that matter. But half off it’s felt worth it, for the fun gameplay and story alone. I hope this game has time to become what it should be. As of now, I think it’s around a 6, but I can imagine a version of this game that gets closer to an 8 or 8.5, with a deeper endgame, reworked loot system, and more diverse enemies and activities. There’s a fun video game in here somewhere, and if you get it at the right price, it’s worth it for sure.    … Expand

    Incredible♥️. Better than Marvel's Spiderman 2018. On PS4 Pro there is even a performance mode that, when motion blur is deactivated, runs much smoother than those 30fps. Well done Square Enix!

But it is unique, giving us a great origin story for Kamala Khan AKA Ms. Marvel and having some of the voice actors from the animated show Avengers (which was in the same universe as the Drake Bell's Ultimate Spider-Man and later Marvel's Spider-Man 2017. Kate Bishop's arrival into the fray has only made the game even better since we now have a archer on the roster after the previous one was missing on A-Day (but later found and is now in a coma and most likely the next DLC charcter) and the game can only get better. Luckily the combat is fresh and awesome and every hero feels unique and has unique abilities. Hulk is tank and has a rage meter where he is invulnerable for a period of time, Captain America has his shield and there is may ways to kill enemies with it and his special move where he would throw his shield when your fighting an enemy. Black Widow can turn invisible has different modes for her guns and can extend her escrima sticks into a Tim Drake-like Bo Staff. Kamala can enlarge and heal people. Iron Man can do a hyper beam, shield himself and get the famous hulkbuster suit. Thor is by far the most exciting with his hammer and lightning and depending what you use for the Bifrost special ability, you can either have the fire realm fire surrounding the Bifrost landing site or Jotunheim's frost or even Alfheim Light where your charcter and teammates can heal without orbs. Kate has teleportation and uses both her sword and bow and arrows. To say the least the charcters are unique as hell and if you aren't a fan of the story because of (iT's ToO SjW-ish despite comics like Marvel and DC having political left leaning topics since the 60's with the X-Men and Gaurdians of The Galaxy and Luke Cage and Black Panther etc) political reasons than the multiplayer elements which you can play offline will appeal to you since you will be treated with fighting enemies in various different missions and leveling up since it's basically a MMO inspired RPG.… Expand

    The post-game grind is not bad. BUT and a huge BUT, is that matchmaking for whatever activity you want to play is either broken or just doesn't work. I have yet to be able to get into a squad of 4, and at most was able to get a squad of 3 together once.

    The social hubs were pretty hidden, and not easy to find at first, they should be available to the campaign playlist too.

    Lastly, there are quite a bit of bugs, considering most of the pre-alpha was done from home, this does not take away from the score, but other decisions are baffling and not okay.

    Buying this now is effectively entering into a early access build.    … Expand

I’m impressed with how much Kate Bishop adds to the skill sets already present in the game, and I cannot wait for Hawkeye, Black Panther and Spider-Man being added to the game’s roster. The updates and patches really improved the game’s stability, and a lot of QoL improvements were made since its release. It’s a game with a heart and a great foundation for more Avengers stories in the future. Don’t get me wrong, Miles Morales is the better game and easily my favorite PS5 game so far, but Avengers is the game I’ll likely keep coming back to, it’s my most played game of the year and was done dirty by press reviews and stupid console and fandom wars.… Expand

    The game is really good honestly the graphics are great looking and the gameplay feels very good.The story is well written allthough a little classic.Music suits the game good but not smthing great , now for the combat it is very dynamic making you feel it especialy if u play with a controller (Vibration its awsome) every hero is unique with its own characteristics and feels special with hes own way.The Gear is good u feels the difference in power and u can upgrade it and it has a lot of abillities on it    … Expand

    C'est extrêmement très décevant le jeu n'est pas hauteur digne d'un Marvel's Avengers .
    Pour moi le jeu est a refaire de A à Z et retiré la charge a Square Enix ( Crystal Dynamics, Eidos Montréal, Crystal Northwest, Nixxes Software) pour le donné a un autre studios qui sauras en faire un jeu digne d'un Marvel's Avengers surtout au niveaux de l'histoire .

    - on ressent bien la puissance des coup de certains personnage
    - gameplay des perso pas mal pour certains
    - ...

    point négatif :
    - jeu très pauvre
    - beug
    - gameplay et ressentie de certain perso catastrophique

    - histoire trop courte
    - trop répétitive
    - jeu pas fini
    - gameplay du jeu en général
    - performance
    - loot , farm
    - ...

    Et je donne la note de 4/10 qui est assez généreux meme si il mérité un peu moins selon moi mais sa reste quand meme juste et pour moi il mérite pas plus de 4/10 .

    After a beta that ended the game, and horrible mismanagement of the live service aspect. We are left with a game that has a fun, if underwhelming gameplay loop and a decent campaign story. Maybe a great pickup for the bargain basement bin when you want to get some of that marvel content in your blood (or watch the campaign played on YouTube instead)

    After waiting so long for this game, it’s finally here and I gotta say they blew me outta the water. I love the game, it has some flaws but all the pros outweigh the cons. This game is a love letter to marvel fans

    Best 2020 game for me out there! Amazing! Entertaining and very capturing gameplay, with many ways to kill an enemy, dozens of special moves and very complex combat system, great graphics and interesting storyline!

    This game is really bad and disappointing.Missions are repetitive and the rpg element doesnt suit a superhero game.Combat also sucks and superheroes feel weak.For example human enemies can block Hulk with a shield lol

    This game is just another reason why I don’t buy day one till the first couple of patches. It’s pretty sad when smaller name indie games are better than the craptacular turds the big names have been putting out. If it’s an origins game, that would be different. But this story takes place where their powers should be intact right from the start. They’re the Avengers for Christ sake!     This game feels empty and lifeless. I'm not sure why it was made as it was made because it's honestly awful. Idea of Avengers characters in one game is good, but the way they did it doesn't work at all.

    I was really excited to pick this game up, being someone who thoroughly enjoys the MCU and was looking forward to a new universe and interpretation of the characters we all love. However, I really didn't find Khamala Khan to be a stellar addition to the Avengers. She has some great qualities to her character. For one, she's very down to earth and relates to the audience extremely well, and she seems to have realistic reactions when it comes to meeting other cast members or confronting conflict. On the other hand she can be quite whiney and annoying at times too. This all goes without saying I would overlook this if the gameplay were something of substance. It really isn't. They start you out with the Hulk as your second character with Khamala, or Ms. Marvel, and he has the most rudimentary moveset out of the whole cast. The most entertaining was definitely Iron Man, but even he is lacking in the fun factor. The Batman games have a good "Beat em up" system in place where you feel like countering and dodging enemies is calculated, but here it just feels like you're mashing the heavy or light attacks. Not to mention that 99% of the missions are either defend an area or "go get those guys over there". Not very fun. I honestly didn't get past the first half of the game because it became too difficult at a certain point. I was only on normal difficulty and had tried going back to earlier missions just to get some more loot in order to make my character more powerful in hopes of making the level easier. I watched YouTubers play it and it seemed normal to them. The mission that really made me lose it is where you are infiltrating a complex as Iron Man, fully suited up, and you have to stand in a very small circle in order to hack into the computer system and get into the building. The circle is so small and hard to defend that I frequently found myself outside flying around, as that is Iron Man's main feature, he can attack at a distance and nimbly juke out your opponents. I realized too late that the enemies can also capture the circle and I failed over and over and over again. After an hour or so on this single mission I simply stopped the game. I hadn't been extremely entertained with the game in the first place since it is so repetitive but this was the straw that broke the camels back. Also a minor thing I would have overlooked if the gameplay was better but the menu/homebase system is so slow and I found myself wandering around the helicarrier trying to find each individual place to either equip armor or even load up another mission. It's all too complicated and slow. I would just try and play the campaign but it takes up so much time just with explaining how every single mechanic works. To their credit, it is very intricate and although I tried paying attention I still don't fully understand all of it.
    Overall, I really was disappointed with this game, especially because it appeared on the surface to be quite good. The first mission was the highlight of my experience and it was all downhill from there.    … Expand

    I don't mind it at all, feels like a cross between tomb raider and devil may cry. Lots of forced running bits and QTEs like tomb raider, but also the beat em up/hack and slash from devil may cry, the graphics on the Xbox Series X are absolutely amazing! Top tier quality! The story is good and it's nice seeing some of the landscapes from the films like tony's house from iron man 3. TheI don't mind it at all, feels like a cross between tomb raider and devil may cry.     It could’ve been a great single player title. The publisher chose to go down the game as a service path though, and those who prefer to play solo need to tackle run-of-the-mill co-op missions. The multiplayer on the other hand is messy, chaotic and in the long run boring. When the developers manage to fix the most pressing bugs and find a way to bring more variety to co-op, this might become a solid game. Right now, I can only recommend it to the biggest fans of the Avengers. [11/2020, p.26]

    This is the perfect example of "Games as a Service" done right. Marvel's Avengers offers up a superb campaign story to play through that is promised to be expanded on in the future. The gameplay may be repetitive, but it includes just enough to keep players interested and invested in the endgame content that is available now to keep this game going until the next step in its roadmap. The possibilities and potential in the future here are hugely exciting.

    There have been plenty of moments during my time with Marvel's Avengers where I’ve genuinely had a great time. But this game keeps finding ways to drag itself down- at times it almost feels like it goes out of its way to do so. There’s just so much here that I can’t overlook, no matter how hard I may try. An unnecessary and broken loot system, a litany of horrible technical issues, uninspired and one-note mission design, and a story that fails just as much as it succeeds- it doesn’t matter how mindlessly fun the combat is, it isn't enough to overcome such a heavy list of problems.
