Bugs are around but given the merge of the Creation Engine with the Quake Netcode, there still are plenty of things to be ironed out. While I cannot give it a full 10/10, Fallout 76 in my opinion deserves an 8/10 for stretching it's fingers into the melting pot of West Virginia.

Instead of NPC's abound, we have robot traders, and robot events due to lore reasons. Many people cannot see past this because they are use to being hand-fed things to do, well Fallout 76 doesn't do that too much, it gives you more of a choice than ever before. Don't do the main story, that's fine; want to be a total wanderer, that's fine too. While not suited to all players, Fallout 76 gives a new test and trial to the wasteland.

Many players, and reviewers have followed the hate train into the ground, and are not very constructive with their reviews, it's sad and pathetic really.

It has an overabudance of gamebreaking issues, the servers are unable to sustain the endgame without crashing(We launched a nuke and it instantly killed the server we played at, wasting all launch keys and keycards) it lags so much people are unable to loot and it randomly crashes due to 10 people being in the same vicinity inside the game. Certain quests resets upon leaving a server which crashing and disconnecting counts as.
Not to mention the numeric bugs and glitches that carried over from fallout 4 that they havent bothered to fix.

The game is fun as long as you dont run into bugs/gamebreaking glitches, sadly. there are more of those than raditation in this game.

It has the potential to be a great and fun game, sadly, that is too far out of reach at the moment, while it has alot of features promised, i can only judge it on what it actually has at the moment. It is a broken game that shouldnt have launched in its current state.

The multiplayer experience is a very bad idea, I rarely saw other players. the whole world was dead.

Huge disappointment from Bethesda!!! Glad I got my money refunded from steam!!!!!

A little upsetting when you are working through a quest/building and the game crashes. Only to restart, your resources you used to get there are gone, but your progress is reset to zero. Really?? Hitboxes need work. Point blank, shooting a shotgun at Robot/Feral/Scorched and miss

Hitboxes need work. Point blank, shooting a shotgun at Robot/Feral/Scorched and miss entirely? Is this an episode of the A-Team?

Am sorely disappointed with this. As someone mentioned earlier, if this was an addon for Fallout 4, it would have been great and truly enjoyable as a single player experience.

As multiplayer, with the amount of issues and poor mechanics, it's subpar at best. Add an offline mode with NPC's, deeper quests and I'm sold.

Barring boring game play, eternal spawning events that are more a nuisance and obstacle, the scenery is incredible. I like the new creatures and weapons. But the game has a LONG way to go to make me want to play it for hours on end. Right now, 1-2 hrs is all I can muster.

One quick note, I was foolishly under the guise the BETA was to fix and repair, knowing now, it was merely an early access (which progress via trophies didn't port over in some instances) forewarning of what was going to be.

I feel a bit foolish for purchasing the Digital Tricentennial version and the guise of a whole brand new game. Shame on me. Bethesda, you really dropped the ball on this one.

There is so much to explore, there are tons of stories to piece together, all you have to do is look. As someone who reads every single terminal in my fallout games I have found a lot of interesting lore to envelope myself in. I’ve also found that since all the toxic people are online complaining about how they can’t spawn AP newbs, the community in game right now is amazing. People teaming up, helping each other, and just generally being cool and having fun together. There are bugs, and there are a few issues, and no, it’s not as pretty as RDR2, but it’s good at whT it does. To anyone thinking about getting 76 I’ll say 1. Know what you are buying, this isn’t fallout 5. It’s something new and different than regular fallout, but that’s not a bad thing as long as you know what you are getting. 2. Ignore the hate. Half the people complaining are holding up new Vegas as the gold standard, well, new Vegas was ripped a new one in reviews when it came out too. 3. Realize before going in that it doesn’t force feed the story to you, you aren’t looking for someone you lost, or trying to find some lost tech. You have to go looking for the story, but it is there. So don’t play for a few hours and then hop on here and say that there is “nothing to do”. I’ve played about 80 hours or so now and I have hardly scratched the surface. Expand

The game of Fallout 76 is a case similar to that of NoMans sky because they rushed to get the product unfinished. In addition, Bethesda takes the strategy of selling the product and with heavy patches go fixing it to compensate for the error. However, with the passage of time it will be finished in two years. The micro payments system is more careful than the game itself. It's not worth buying just for being a Fallout.

The "game" is a boring 2nd life with long slow travels walking to constantly find food and water. You're health and action bars are constantly lowered by unavoidable disease, irradiation, thirst and hunger. Your inventory is low, vendors carry little cash and necessary supplies are limited. So fine the game forces you to live with very little. Don't get attached to a good weapon because it breaks and you don't have the resources to repair it. Don't build because someone will drop a nuke and you'll lose your camp. Don't modify anything because again it'll break and you can't repair it without looking for items for hours. You can't afford to buy them. You can't afford to fast travel and you can't run so you'll walk forever to go anywhere. If you do fast travel free back to base and when you go through doors both with long load times you'll likely be surrounded by a hoard of enemies when you spawn and you'll die. When you die you lose all junk and you have to go back and die again trying to retrieve it if someone doesn't steal it first. There's no way to play co-op even with friends much less strangers because everyone will take different times to manage items, health, read/listen to items. There's so few people on your server on a huge map there's no help in public events which give you fewer gifts than the supplies you'll use accomplishing them. And if you claim a workshop for a public event your caps were spent on something that disappears when you log off or someone steals it. Welcome to your new life. Basically don't buy, build or get attached to anything. Live off of whatever weapon you can find at the moment and when it breaks or the ammo runs out have a back-up and pick up whatever else is dropped. The maps will show you in general where you'll be walking to but won't show local maps or anything helpful like locations for benches. Since the game is live good luck trying to hack a computer because you'll be attacked during. And good luck trying to use the vats or manage weapon and health items during combat. So if living with nothing, having your whole day be occupied with looking for food and water and having what little you acquire be taken away this is the game for you. Expand

Instead of guiding you on the path to rebuilding the world after nuclear armageddon they have given every player the freedom to explore the world at his/her own pace. I truly believe Fallout 76 is a magnificent concept, being able to interact with others while exploring the glowing mysteries of Appalachia. NPCs from previous Fallout games were really well done and helped with immersion to a certain extent but having such a big map populated just with AI is dull for a 2018 game, especially Fallout. With Fallout 76, the story is scattered around the map for players to piece together, just like a puzzle. I think this sort of challenge is great but it certainly isn't as appealing to everyone that played previous Fallout games, especially Fallout 4. I believe that one of the most important aspects of this game is that the current concept caters mostly to hardcore fans due to the amount of planning, strategy and patience one must have in order to succeed.
The online world of Fallout has a huge amount of potential for diversification, which I am really looking forward to.
The Fallout 76 in game community is amazing and I can genuinely say that I've never seen before people that are so helpful even though they don't have anything to gain. Sure, there are a few griefers but that is to be expected from an online game with such a big fan base.
In terms of gameplay I must say that the graphics have definitely improved since Fallout 4 but there are quite a few glitches and bugs which I hope will be fixed in the future. Sometimes there are also performance issues such as freezes and crashes but they don't happen as often as they did during B.E.T.A.
Overall I can say that I love the new approach Bethesda has taken with Fallout and even though it might take a little while for everything to be the way the devs want to, I'm sure the journey ahead is going to be epic. Kudos Bethesda!

Bethesda looked at Destiny and went 'hey, we can do that'. So what did they do? Develop a game they don't really care about, knowing that the 'Fallout' name alone would guarantee sales.

I'm sure it's worked. I'm sure it'll sell pretty well. But they do not care about this game. They don't care about releasing a game to the best of their ability. Instead, they simply want to make money without caring about the quality of their finished product.

Bethesda have proven to be fantastic publishers in the past. Fallout 3 and NV are both brilliant, brilliant games. That they put their time and effort into. But this is not that. They saw a cash grab opportunity without needing to put any effort in.

This is not okay. Don't let them win. Do not buy this game.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Level 36, stealth sniper:

After completing a quest which involved a gunfight with dozens of molemen (mutated former miners) in a burnt out town who just came at me with waves of shotguns, missile launchers and big freaking metal claws - I got jumped by supermutants on the road. Survived, barely. Custom modded sniper rifle broken, shotgun out of ammo. I literally have a pistol and a freaking spear as my only decent weapons left. However, I had a huge amount of junk of all kinds, food (as soon as I could cook it) and water ( liquor quenches thirst in W. Virginia). So! I camp out at a defensible spot and, piece by piece, build a high defensible 18th century block fort with turrets in the gun ports and amenities to sleep, cook and repair my gear. Another player, level 17 shows up. We wave, we chat. He wants to adventure together and I shake my head. I’m doing single player for the survival aspect and to not gun blaze through the story elements. I give him a fusion core and some goodies. “I want your gun and your gas mask.” The little jerk shoots me in the leg and we go into pvp! @^)@&$:$. My double barreled shotgun and the guns on my fort take care of him each time he tries to come from a different angle. Eventually, he got bored of dying and took off. Finally, I was about to have some peace to cook my soup and fix my sniper rifle when I heard the screech of that giant mutated bat / dragon Scorchbeast. I try to fast travel somewhere away but I am still overencumbered. In the process, I saw on my map a level 50 murderer player headed directly my way. I duck and cover inside my fort and prepare to die. Crouching in the dark with my double barreled shotgun in my trembling fingers, I listen to the earth shake and things explode as the murderer singlehandedly duels the Scorchbeast outside my fort. With the first rays of morning light, I cautiously climb out of my fort. I take a badass selfie picture with the dead Scorchbeast. Soon, it will be time to hit the roads again.

Empty, yet full. These 3 words have echoed in all fallout games, and this does not stop in 76. The combat system uses a refined version of fallout 4s, Absence of npcs forces the game to make intuitive decisions when making quests, keeping the game fresh and new.and the endless amount of lore keeps the player constantly engaged.

I walked my character about 40 yards down a small hill to a friend (who is obviously a gamer as well). We started to chat and I said "This game is a huge disappointment, would you like to buy it from me for half off?". My buddy said sure - why not?

And that was it. It took about 15-16 hours for me to have this experience, but it was by far the most enjoyable part of my adventure. I wouldve literally burned the disc for free but I made back half of my purchase that I can put towards a game that has a development team that hasnt completely sold out a franchise for the name in exchange for profit.

Ok, To illustrate my frustration, I created an account after many years of spectating this site, because this is something I can't contain within myself.
This game was very well intended, the idea behind it looks solid, but the state in which was delivered is pure garbage. Maybe it's just my isolated experience (which I doubt), but I can't play on server for longer then hour or two before I get disconnected from it. The bugs, glitches and crashes are endless and the frustration to finding out that the game didn't save last 10 minutes of progress (especially when you found some really cool random loot) before a crash is driving me crazy.
I can't find people to play with, since most of my friends after playing beta canceled their pre-order (good for them) and the random player encounters are generally pointless, because after some 30 hours into the game, I was not able to for a single party for coop. The game at least at these early stages is too easy to force people playing together and why divide loot?
And one final thing.. you can't store stuff in the world, because it doesn't carry over after server change. You can't really build stuff, because you have to rebuild it after server change. So the idea of rebuilding the wasteland is down the drain, because I can't see the point of trying to rebuild my camp and workshops every time I get disconnected from server and get migrated to a new one. And to make it even more insulting we get only 400 pounds of storage??? I mean, what the hell?
I can't comment on the game's story, because I didn't find any. It's a post-apocalyptic survival simulator, not a role playing game. Although the environmental storytelling is top notch, it's hard to stay motivated to soldier on playing this game when the occasional few seconds of ohh-moments is all there is to the story.
To summarise, this game is insult to anyone who actually sunk money and time into trying to make it work. Maybe in few months, after developers actually bother testing the game, it's mechanics and add a purpose to the chores of hoarding/exploring, I can see they'll make it fun to play. But right now, the players should get paid as testers, because that's what they are doing.
P.S.: I can't believe I took a break from red dead redemption 2 to sink my time into this garbage.

Bethesda should have named this game Sellout 76. They do not care and it is evident by the garbageness of this game. They have completely sold out for money and produced in garbage product in hopes of making a quick dollar. Any smart person would avoid these titles and shame the company for producing them.

I however was quite optimistic about the game, giving Bethesda the benefit of the doubt. The game would only reveal a small amount but show it's colors and catch us all in shock. But it failed in the end, as it was shipped in what feels like early Alpha or Beta. While core mechanics are certainly present in the combat, and exploration, the lack of real story, content, NPCs, and substance hinder it. After getting a few good hours in with my partner, we found ourselves genuinely bored. We delved into the PvP system a little, but after a few honest fights, found players simply avoiding combat, which led to further boredom.

Enemies will respawn immediately once a new player has entered the AO. Meaning any fighting done to scavenge items must now happen again before looting peacefully.

Overall I feel like Bethesda dropped the ball, trying to create a Fallout style MMO like FF14 but their own twist. With no real story, lore to base content off of, and NPCs to provide much needed dialogue it feels empty. FF14 for example has NPCs that provide small quests or small bits of audio to help the game feel alive. Bethesda could create a few dozen quest givers, with the ability to become incapacitated or no hit boxes, as to prevent players from ruining other players games.

In the end I'll be returning the game, and waiting for it to release with more content hopefully. Otherwise this is a pass for me.

There are no NPCs because Bethesda was lazy and we can all see it. The holotapes are annoying and make for an unpleasant game experience. Very disappointing game! Check back in a year, I guess, when modders finish the game on Bethesda's behalf.
I put more effort into signing up to leave this review than they appear to have put into the game. If I thought they'd actually made mis-steps in the pursuit of fun instead of trying to cover up corporate compromises (like always online, no PVE/server-selection, no human NPCs), it might be worth a pity 3 instead of a 2.

76 has come out after Fallout 4, and yet there is literally LESS in 76 than in its predecessor. I can't believe that this isn't a joke. This game feels like a hollow shell of a game. They've literally taken Fallout 4, removed everything that made it a good game, and sold it back to us as a AAA game with a $60 price tag. The game crashes ALL THE TIME, the bugs are actually ridiculous, the world is empty, quests are boring and uninspired, and I happen to run into another player once every 2-3 hours. Fallout 4 may not have been the funnest game in the world, but the game at least worked. The story may have been fairly shallow, but it made sense and there was quite a bit to it. The world may have been a tad empty, but there was no doubt that there was stuff to do and things to explore. The combat may have had too much emphasis on gunplay, but the gunplay was the most fluid of the Fallouts and combat was easy and worked really smooth.

Not this game. This game doesn't work - it simply does not work. The game is not fun no matter how you slice it. Your framerate will drop to 15 FPS on console if you're ever in combat; the combat is very clunky and buggy; the graphics are okay, but the whole world looks more like a really good Fallout 4 mod than a new game; the storyline is GARBAGE because there is no story line, and while I know it wasn't necessarily supposed to have a main story, the sidequests are uninspired, recycled garbage that are meant to artificially extend the life of the game. The gun play is very difficult because of the sever frame rate drops. The building mechanics are glitchy and VERY restrictive. You cannot build a massive base like you could in Fallout 4, because the budget is so low due to trying to keep the frame rate workable.

Lazy, uninspired, dull, unfun, lifeless game that will bore you very quickly. This game is a chore to play.

That combined with "if it ain't human kill it" game play takes away from the spirit of the Fallout experience. I thought ...no NPCs...that's interesting...as I played I felt that part missing more and more. When looking for a solo experience generally you can work out a path to avoid others...but then just when you are ready to complete a quest "pop" another player swoops in and solo play/immersion goes down the pipes. If there was a "go away and leave me alone" mode when you want to play solo and a "glad to see you" mode when you feel like interacting with people then things would be better. Game is buggy getting tagged as "wanted" for walking through an area gets irritating. Taking control of a camp then the camp turns on you and server disconnects...

Building structures only to leave the game and then they are all gone once you "claim" an area...

Lack of any type of story via people...going around and "searching" for dead people...because you already know there aren't any alive.

It's no Fallout New Vegas ( the truest of the post Fallout 2...should have been titled Fallout 3)...it actually had a story line that made sense. I see strained effort to setup the types of things that felt effortless in New Vegas...things that don't make sense when you take less than a second to think about it. Open world with splatters of Fallout lore...lore that is misused/confusing/irritating. Not sure what story line this branched off of but the whole thing feels...sell out/merchandise oriented...no spirit no soul...no story that really makes me want to know more. The first few "clues" pretty much point out where things are going...Also as cool as nukes are...what do they really have to do with rebuilding the future? Playing the BETA and quite some time on the full game I'm trying to keep an open mind...but it's getting difficult...I really want a good story that feels effortless and valued. Not someone that spits out a strained story with smatherings of lore just to try to slap a Fallout title on it.

Maybe...just maybe they'll get back to the roots and stop making these FPS/Mine craft smashups with no soul/storylines for a quick buck and get back into some really good story-lines that truly takes the Fallout lore seriously. This is probably closer to Fallout tactics in terms of making sense in the universe that is Fallout...only the people that made tactics somewhat understood what made the Fallout franchise...well Fallout.

So far disappointing in a lot of ways...maybe it will get better?...maybe not...

Its a junk collection game without any real goal. The biggest most massive base can just be walked by and will never have any real function. There is nothing here that makes multiplayer work, base building work, character building work or item collection work. There is nothing to look forward to, ive killed scorchbeast in the beta, ive seen nukes drop, there is no sustained pvp. Its truly just a bad game, and considering bethesda its even worse.

TLDR: Gameplay loop is terrible and product isnt AAA quality.

It's hard to say that this even can be classified as a game. Online multiplayer brings little to nothing to the experience. Who wants to wander and comment about a 3D map with another person? Nothing on the map is that interesting. The spartan sets of enemies are uninteresting. The quests are uninteresting. The building aspect is limited to such a degree by multiple factors that it is uninteresting. I've spent about 30 hours so far TRYING to find something interesting. Spending $60 for a game and having it be mundane and boring with little to interest me, while being inundated by bugs, intentional limits by the developers, and a sheer sense of discouragement as to what I should do in the map (can't call it a game). Loved Fallout 3, 4 and New Vegas, can't find anything to love about this...well wasteland is the best term for it. You should at least be able to set the dumpsters on fire in this game to give it a true symbolic gesture as to what this game is and where you just threw your money at. Expand

But worst of all is Bethesda's complete lack of any sort of apology for making us pay £50-60 for a completely broken game. This trend towards release now, fix later in AAA games is absolutely unacceptable.

I hope they realise how poorly this has been received and make efforts to make it right. Lest they damage their brand even further

The game glitching and shutting down twice after the 47GB upgrade was even more maddening. I've built my place I have my work benches and I can survive all within five hours of gameplay. I'm now left with no point in the game. My character could survive forever. Anytime I get matched with someone they just breath heavily into a mic and are also lost in the fact of what we're supposed to be doing. Not only that anytime I've ever died nobody has come to revive my character they just walk right by because theres zero rewards for them to save you. Now i know people have a right to their own opinion, to what they believe is the best game, or to make it the best game, or a great game, and i will never deny anyone their right to do so.

But this is Fallout, this is the series that i love the most, more than any other game franchise around. It hurts to see people so hateful, so angry, so willing to throw negative reviews for such spiteful reasons. This happened for Fallout 4 as well, and fans did this for New Vegas, and for Fallout 3. Heck some did it for Fallout Tactics, even Fallout 2 being such purists.

So where does it stop? When does this Fallout game hating end? I like the game, yes, but there are aspects that drive me crazy enough that i would have given it a zero too, yes. But you know what makes me different? Do you know why i have no love for Todd Howard or Bethesda, and how he keeps throwing out games that are not ready, or that each game tends to break some aspect of lore until it is explained and fixed, or why they choose the choices they did for a game, even if it did piss so many people off?

I'm here to simply have fun playing Fallout, if i have fun, if i enjoy playing, I'll keep coming back, if not, then I'll come back eventually when I'm bored, but i just want to play. Not want the latest graphic engine, the best immersive NPC's, the perfect gaming experience, even the perfect match with lore, i just want to play! That i can play with other players now, cool, that they are working on patching the game, good, no game is perfect at launch, no matter how many years it is taken. I just want to play, not hear people, or see people in the case of my video feeds and channels, endlessly complain and complain and complain. Play it or don't, have fun or don't, If you cannot figure out the story, or why the only NPC's (and yes, there are NPC's) are there, it's not my place to explain it.

So either just play, and have fun, and let those of us who do like it have fun, or just calm down, say your peace, and go, for if you cannot say anything constructive with your criticism, then do not say anything at all, cause personally, I'm tired of this toxic fan base.

pointed out, if you are expecting NPCs with a rich and thriving game world you won't find that here anytime soon. The layout is well thought out and the detail of the world is better than average probably given whatever amount of development time everything else on the game took.
In terms of questing, its pretty much go here, do this, go to the next place, find this, do this. Some of it fun, but most of it not. Keeping up with friends and also listening to all the holotapes is frustrating because of talking and feeling like I cant take the time I need to engage in the world while playing with friends. I'm not sure why Bethesda made the decision to distribute the experience points the way they did because it is very hard to keep everyone at a similar level. My personal
opinion on the perk system is that it is just meh. I've never cared for the perks in other
titles as the options don't get me excited about that aspect of the game at all but that is different for everyone.

I see the potential in Fallout 76 so I won't say it can't get better over time with added
content and improvements. Having said that I think it falls pretty much in the middle. I'm just
as sad as everyone else that there was a lot of opportunity lost with this title. There may be
enough complaints for Bethesda to turn around in the future and release a really fantastic
game (fingers crossed) but who knows. In short, this game is for you in its current state if you:

+ Enjoy exploring a well laid out but reused environment
+ Building and crafting that is similar to Fallout 4
+ Exploring buildings and picking up junk
+ Engaging in mediocre questing and combat
+ Foraging for your survival (even though it honestly is moot)
+ Doing all this with a few friends

I'd wait for it to go on sale honestly if you haven't bought it already. Cheers.

Opinion from the Russian player.

There is no story whatsoever, there are no NPCs, you are forced into this PvP game play, that does next to nothing. Except for some higher level players that kill and loot you.

But mostly everyone just ignores each other. Except for the fact, that you suddenly have some chat conversations of some French guys in your living room... Enemies are coming in such big numbers, that you basically die every few minutes. You have to collect and produce stuff all the time - otherwise you'll die. It's just stressing you out. I think I will delete the game and replay Fallout 4 with some mods and additional DLCs. That's way more fun.

I think that the main problem with this title is that maybe Bethesda didn´t realize the main problem of most MMO are the players, you cannot give birth to a so stupid pvp system to face the PK phenomenon, would have been way better to leave the PvP system free but , through an easy faction related system and a time forward related patch system ( yes I know.. system system) everything would have been fitted perfectly.

Seems like Bethesda is still beta testing this game, with our money on the table of course. Of course, the programmers will take ideas from our Reviews and in the coming month this game will be worth 60 dollars or euros and will be a v good game like Eso, but 4 things need to happen.

    1. Quest NPC and Faction System with CHOICES!
    2. Faction related PVP.
    3. Hi-Res texture activable from the options for everyone.
    4. Private games! I wanted this to be a coop experience with my friends!!

In conclusion, my 2 days (with a lot of eating and beer )gameplay sensation can be resumed in an experience similar to when you are near to reach the orgasm and your wife stop because she needs to watch the new season of Sex and the City.

It hurts Todd! do you understand?

I haven't come across a 'ghoul' or even a nice one. I've come across what seems to be ferals.

Lots of dead bodies from settlers and raiders. Some of them look like they have died within the last few weeks as opposed to a few years.

You'll read the account of survivors but they're all gone. There's this one surviving community which was in an area that was heavily guarded and they *ALL* decide to leave where they would perish. Yay bethesda..

And only being able to trade items for caps is pretty damn annoying. You would think that would would go back to the barter system. I think Bethesda needs to look up what we used to do historically when there wasn't much cash. It's called BARTER.

As a survivor type game, it's fine. As a fallout game, it's not.

Hot water trash. I've never been more disappointed in a game. I was waiting and hoping for a new Fallout entry as I always do and then it arrives and it is just this empty steaming pile of **** The whole feel is just cold and alone and **** depressingly boring. No story. No goal. You have no purpose. It's a giant sandbox that may of well have been a PC mod rather than a full title release.Hot water trash. I've never been more disappointed in a game. But oh you can buy Fortnite skins! hurray thats exactly what I wanna do spend more money on a game thats already awful just so I can look like a party clown while i meander around aimlessly. It's Minecraft: Fallout edition. **** worst bag of **** I've played in a while. I'll give it a 1 but only because the radio was half decent but 10/10 do not recommend and I'd be a horrible friend if i did. Expand

It is really amazing to see tons of whining about the game (apparently mostly from persons who haven't even bothered to try the game). For those who have liked the exploration and gameplay mechanics in Fallout 4, the 76 is really good game. Been mostly playing it quite a solo way, but joined with others in some events or when ended up to explore the same location.

There are of course some things with inventory management and such that could be bit better, but all in all, really great game!

Been playing it for couple of days already and just love it.

I have not had any technical issues either. Whole audio-visual experience is also top quality.

I have been a huge fan of the franchise. Replayed Fallout 1, 2 and 3 several times. Fallout: New Vegas, very good in my opinion. Fallout 4 not as good as the previous one, but still, it felt alive.

The feeling I get after playing for like 20 hours, is like if I was doing a game and I would tell a friend: "OK, so this is the world, this is where people will be able to walk. I just need to fill it because it's empty." It is absurdly empty. It feels dead. The holotape system is awful and irritating, and doesn't help at all to follow a quest path so you can immerse in the story . All of them feel random tapes. ALL OF THEM.

    CONS:
Enemies. Enemies? What enemies? All I'm killing are scorched dudes. I killed 2 roaches and 2 mole rats. The rest scorched people.

Paid content. You can actually pay MORE money to buy stuff (very **** in my opinion) for the game. Like how can you even do that? Where is your integrity? In my wallet? Keep looking then. I find this part extremely hilarious XD Like for real. You can PAY MORE MONEY. Who would do that?

The no NPC system kills the vibe. To be honest with you, every time I play I keep thinking that I will find a hidden NPC. But it's not gonna happen so... f*ck that.

    PROS:
Let me state that in NO WAY, the pros make the game any better. Not at all.

Looks like mods for weapons and apparel are OKish.

The C.A.M.P it has a loooooot of problems (just like in FO4). But I kind of like the building of your own base.

I would suggest another title for this game: No Man's Sky from 2016.

Game indeed is too much like Fallout 4, lack of npcs makes it feel kind of empty and there are lots of bugs.

However, the idea of the game is to work as survival simulator, and therefore the game is about how to cooperate or not with other people and therefore I don't myself consider lack of npcs problem. Also, Bethesda's games are alway buggy at the beginning, there's nothing new in

So in my honest opinion only real problem in the game is that it is too much like Fallout 4, which was very good game, so in that sense it's not real problem either.

In short: in my opinion Fallout 76 is a very good game, if you enjoyed Fallout 4, but it doesn't really bring anything new to the series.

So utterly disappointing and flawed in every possible way… The first few hours, most of it can be ignored, and occasionally the flaws can be forgotten, but only briefly before they come storming back to the forefront. An awful, boring, empty, pointless experience. There is, however, a glimmer of hope. It's worth mentioning that there has already been a Bethesda title that was equally as unimpressive: The Elder Scrolls Online - but looking at it now, it has transformed into one of the best MMOs out there. There's always the hope the Fallout 76 develops the same way and becomes something special, but for now, that seems impossible. It's a world away from that.

Fallout 76 isn't your typical fallout experience. You don't have NPCs or dialogue, but instead get real players that should fill this void - that ultimately fails to do so. It does some things right, but as of now I cannot recommend getting this game as long as it stays a broken and boring mess that it is right now.

Fallout 76 is the series’ Freshman introduction into the world of online, multiplayer games. As a result, we are experiencing all of the awkwardness and clumsiness associated with that season of life. It is imperfect and a bit uncomfortable, but I see opportunity for Fallout 76 to be more than it presently it - to be a truly great, rich Fallout experience.
