    False marketing, and very low quality for a 2020 game. Lagging, and features that where promised are not in the game. This version also broke the original version of the game. Stear away from this remake!

    This game is a mess. It's not complete:
    - graphic not the same with the one from blizzcon demo;
    - a lot of issues;
    - pvp doesn't work
    etc.

    It's beta and needs more than 3 months of work to be ok.

    I believe remastering textures to HD and adding cut scenes would be a dream. Now blizz just fked up the entire game and forces players with old version to download this **** Gj greedy bastards. Same with wow.

    This is so sad. You all can still turn this around. Look at Hello Games. They apologized and then made the game they said they would. You need to do this. Also remove all of the selfish custom game restrictions. I'm done with Activision games until you do.

    Reforged ? More like Downgraded. Apart from the new models (which admittedly are nice) they've removed so much from what it once was.
    The promises (as still shown on there webpage at this time) of extra content, redone cutscenes and the like are all not in the game.

    I was really looking forward to this remaster and i could beilve how much they screwed it up. Almost nothing promised is there and to make it worse it also screwed og Warcraft 3. Dont buy this crap, good old Blizzard is dead.

Roughly two years ago I basically wrote a thank you letter to blizzard for creating one of the best video game characters I have ever seen in the form of Arthas. I love Warcraft, I love its rich story and in-depth character development. It was always such an amazing experience going through the story over and over again in the past ten years I've played Warcraft 3 alone. I can't stress enough how much that game alone shaped my imagination and story writing from a child to a young adult. Warcraft 3 was single handily responsible for shaping who I am today. So believe when I say that I never wanted to ever write a negative review about a game close to my heart that was utterly butchered the way Arthas butchered the high elves on his siege to the sunwell. I'm so incredibly upset and disappointed even more so. I was promised so much, I was looking forward to so much, I was given the pre-order as a birthday gift and I remember literally counting down the days before I can reignite that long forgotten spark I had when I first fully played Warcraft 3. I was ecstatic when the game was about to be released at the end of December. When the game was pushed back to January twenty ninth, I understood that Blizzard wasn't yet ready to release their new behemoth of a game. Understand that I refused to watch anything about the new updated graphics or the gameplay to help make the reveal that much more memorable. I waited for two years, and then some, to finally play my childhood all over again. January twenty eighth was literally one of the most anticipated days of my entire life. When the game finally came out, and when I finally was able to play, it was so underwhelming it felt like I was allowed to see beta testing. Half of the features I grew to love, where no longer present, the sheer difficulty I had in trying to play with my family and friends was astronomical. I can't help but be anything other than completely and utterly heartbroken. To see what I loved so much, be dragged through the mud, and then bring low what was the behemoth of the early 2000's. Im so disappointed. I wont be asking for a refund, because even now, I want to be ready for when the game comes back to its original status and then beyond, I want to be there when this game blows up as a wildly successful and amazing adaption to an amazing game. I want to be able to play the true Warcraft 3 Reforged, so please Blizzard, let me play the game I waited over two years to play.… Expand

    I didn't buy reforged. I thought I could continue to play classic, but no, Blizzard decided to give me the 28 GB that is reforged anyway. Now I am stuck with those useless 28 GB since I can't turn reforged graphics on. The "classic" graphics looks worse too, the saturation is off and some units don't have shadows. The new UI is awful and I constantly experience massive lag spikes. There'sI didn't buy reforged. I thought I could continue to play classic, but no, Blizzard decided to give me the 28 GB that is reforged anyway. Now I am stuck with those useless 28 GB since I can't turn reforged graphics on. Even when in the story you are organizing a massacre of the undead, I must bypass them. Removed tube 3D backdrops in the menu and replaced with a crap soulless 2D Shelter interface on a third of the screen The classic Wc3 has been removed from the store, only reform is now available to its owners, but without a new graphic.     Bought this game on the pre release and am completely outraged on the final result that was delivered, on the exception of the new models everything else in this game is way worst then in the original version, both in performance and basic quality of the game.     And that was shown to be a lie.

    Barely an upgrade, shadows look worse, and you can’t even make custom maps anymore without giving up your rights to blizzard , not to mention charging $30 for a bare minimum effort. Incredibly Disappointing work from blizzard. Imagine being so salty about dota and so desperate to make proper games that you start stealing from your customers. Shameful.

I saw someone give this game a 10 rating because of the nostalgia hit well in that case rockstar can re-release GTA SanAndreas at full price without any changes and say here nostalgia and if they say they didn't have time or its rushed well be like Cyberpunk 2077 the game had a trailer in 2013 and was delayed twice already but they do that for the quality and we stil don't know but hopefully that game won't flop because the extra time they took to go back and patch it up… Expand

However, the game performs poorly, the frame rate is quite poor on modern pc hardware (less than 2 years old using a gtx 1080 ti), the game stutters when I place buildings and perform other actions, and the unit frame rate is nowhere near as smooth asI pre-ordered this game and I was really excited to revisit one of my childhood favourites with all new cutscenes and modern enhancements.     What's worse is the advertised cutscenes were cut from the game - I don't see any difference at all from the original.

    Also, going into the settings and changing your fps or resolution sometimes causes the menus to not come back up again - forcing you to restart the game.

    Overall, it's super unpolished and I know I am not the only person complaining about stuttering - this was reported by hundreds of people during beta feedback yet it's gone unresolved at release.

    I didnt bother to buy the game because I liked the classic as it WAS. why in the hell did you force me to be part of this mess. Why couldnt you just separate classic and reforged completely? Just cancel the new patch for the classic players and lets imagine it never happened

    Marketing that's straight up lies aside, this game actively make the original beloved classic version worse! AND Blizzard tries to lay claim to any user created content for it? Blizz.. I think you **** it up badly enough that no one is going to bother making any content for you to steal.

    I own the original Warcraft 3 RoC and this release completely destroyed my ability to play the game with a forced update. Blizzard rushed the release so they could make up some Q4 earnings and ruined what could have been a great tribute to an amazing game. Blizzard of old was known for not releasing a product until it was extremely polished, and sadly this is not that company any more.

    Another franchise ruined by Blizzard-Activision. The fact that they do not even attempt to learn from their mistakes shows how much they care about their games and their fan base. From being one of the most beloved developers to being one of the most hated. I am impressed.

    DONT BUY THIS GAME.Thanks too Blizzard/Ativision/LemonSky, they destroyed my favourite game of all time, this is such DOWNGRADE from classic WC3, all this stuff which is removed from Classic,Game is unplayable keeps crashing,voice is delayed,units change colours and more this is a disaster, no Matchmaking, same game as the Beta which was worst then many alpha state games nothing improvedDONT BUY THIS GAME.Thanks too Blizzard/Ativision/LemonSky, they destroyed my favourite game of all time, this is such DOWNGRADE from classic WC3, all this stuff which is removed from Classic,Game is unplayable keeps crashing,voice is delayed,units change colours and more this is a disaster, no Matchmaking, same game as the Beta which was worst then many alpha state games nothing improved from beta, No ingame hotkey setup,no microphone, no observing games all this stuff in 2020 which 10 years old game have, servers are disaster two EU players playing on Asia server with 300 ping, fake advertisement all was lie nothing ended in the game, and the new cinematic Arthas vs Ildian looks like made by a kid who just start too learn making videos, game stability is broken fps droping all time its not optimized, new cutscenes was a scam, 30$/40$ for a game which dosent work and gives you nothing improved from a 17 year old game which was superior in evrey aspect bigest scam ever, animations looks even worse then in a 2002 game, Game Menu looks like a mobile game, there is so much too mention about how big disapointed and hearbroke i feel, this isnt the same company anymore which released great games, dont ever PRE PURCHASE anything from Activision/Blizzard, i made this account just too show my discontent.… Expand

    Even with a beefy computer it still ran horrible, unplayable mesh of a game.
    I wouldn’t have minded waiting a year or two just as long as the thing worked!

    This game has false advertising written all over it. Not only did they not deliver on their promises, they managed to ruin a classic game in the process.

    Absolute shame that blizzard completely ruined such a great game. They promised a game with better visuals, models, gameplay, sound, Ui and more and fell short on those.

    El peor juego jamás echo , nisiquiera queda corto los Bugs y errores que tuvo su predecesor , el mismo juego presenta fallas que no tuvieron ese Craft 3 original , como es posible esto ? Blizzard acabo con el sueño de muchos , traer un juego limitado el 2003 a una era de digitalización , fallo estrepitosamente.

    I've never really was a fan of Warcraft but hearing about what Blizzard did to this game is disgusting. To all those who Pre-ordered you can't even get a refund. That's sad.. Blizzard what have you done..

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
