    Finally the true WarCraft is back! The new graphic is very good. And the Reforged keeped the original WarCraft III essence! Only cons the muliplay littlebit instable, need patch and fine.

    No idea what kind of systems those negative reviewers are using, total nonsense. The game is polished and works wonderfully, awesome graphics and smooth action (2560x1440, 144 Hz). Very nostalgic blast from the past. Thank you for providing this wonderful experience Blizzard.

    This is an absolutely an amazing nostalgia trip for me, unlike WoW classic which immediately bored the crap out of me after 5 minutes.

    Music is improved, visuals, cinematics, etc. This is exactly what I expected and it was delivered. On the 3rd missions in the campaign and already addicted just as I was when the game originally released. Now all we can hope for is Warcraft 4 and a great new storyline. I CANNOT wait to get to the frozen throne expansion already!!!!!     Сделал предзаказ в первый день , могу сказать одно - Картам был прав.
    До последнего надеялся что перенос был вызван только из-за ошибок в сетевой игре, но увы.
    Прошел пролог за Орду и 2 Миссии за Альянс и не смог больше.Мне как фанату оригинального вк3 очень обидно за такой "Рефордж".    Сделал предзаказ в первый день , могу сказать одно - Картам был прав.

    Blizzard has finally redeemed itself by restoring the masterpiece that is Warcraft 3 to its former glory and more:

    -All custom maps are fully working and stable. -The World Editor has been updated beyond imagination and you can play multiplayer God Of War in a custom map -The servers are merged so you can play in the same lobby with USA and Asia and EUROPE players -The    Blizzard has finally redeemed itself by restoring the masterpiece that is Warcraft 3 to its former glory and more:

    -All custom maps are fully working and stable.

    -The World Editor has been updated beyond imagination and you can play multiplayer God Of War in a custom map

    -The servers are merged so you can play in the same lobby with USA and Asia and EUROPE players

    -The matchmaking system & official (melee) game modes are working perfectly & super fun compared to classic

    -All of the missing features from classic such as clans have been added back

    -The EULA/ToS/License Agreement have been changed to be similar to the original (Ownership of custom maps belongs to the mapmaker only and not Blizzard)

    -Brand new features like voice-chat and the ability to reconnect after a disconnection and to spectate your friends games (custom maps or matchmaking) made their way in a recent update

    -Lots of bug-fixes and the game is as stable as the 1.26 version of classic

    -The Playerbase has reached the highest number in the history of the game playing daily.

    Update: the update fixed pretty much everything that was wrong for me. Having a blast playing this old favorite.
    I cant wait to see what future updates will bring. Would like to see more optimization on the Mac.

Mac: I tried it on my brand new MacBook Pro first. Constant stuttering and lockups that I had to reboot the computer for. Ok, Fine. I will play it on my beefy gaming PC. Nope. Every time there is a cutscene it switches out of the video and drops me to windows desktop, I come back and there's no sound. This happens every 20 seconds or so. Tried switching from enhanced to original graphics, but that switch is not a real switch, it doesn't do anything. So I paid the money and the whole thing was a big tease with no payoff. I really want to play it now but I guess I have to wait until they patch their buggy software. I have no issues with any other game on either system. Blizzard used to be amazing. They often cancel games instead of releasing something that wouldn't live up to their lofty standards. Not so anymore apparently. CD Projekt Red took their spot as 'the' ethical and amazing developer. It's pretty sad    … Expand

    Я бы закрыл глаза на отстойный стартовый экран, я бы забил на на мультиплеер, я бы положил болт на то, что они максимально отвратительно показали в титрах разработчиков, которые приложили руку к созданию данной игры, но так отвратительно сделать всё - надо уметь.     It's as good as it gets, as far as remastered games are concerned, well for example If I get HD version of Vice City (rematered) like this one I'd be very glad.

    Back to Warcraft! As it was expected be patience and you will get what you deserve. For now optimization is on a good level. Graphics is awesome. Sounds much better when it was. Absolutely playable 1x1, 2x2,FFA and customs. GL HF! See you in ladder!

    Despite the fact that Reforged came out a bit different that we (players) expected, I still enjoyed playing it. Yes its quite a lot of work to be done before the product will be completed 100% but I'm sure it doesn't deserve 0.5... A real score I would give is to WC3 Reforged is 6.5 out of 10 but to equalize a little bit with all these angry fans lets just give it a chance and put 10 outDespite the fact that Reforged came out a bit different that we (players) expected, I still enjoyed playing it.     Experienced no crashes, exquisite models and a lot of hype. Wc3 can finally comete with Dota2.     Les promesses n'ont certes pas étaient tenu par rapport au nouveauté mais ça reste quand même un excellent jeu. Les personnes qui critiquent à 100% le jeu ne sont donc que de la rage habituel des anti-blizzard genre (Ct mIEU AVAN) et de la mauvaise foi car osé dire que c'était plus beau avant c'est juste un foutage de gueule et de la nostalgie d'ancien jeu.
    Ceux qui osent se dire fan de la série warcraft et prétendent que c'est une honte sont des menteurs.
    En étant réellement critique j'aurais mis 7/10 car c'est vrai que certaines promesses ne sont pas tenu mais comme ceux qui mettent 0 par rage je me dois de mettre 10 pour m'y opposer.    … Expand

    The game is really good! It is unfortunate that some aspects are missing. But I am very glad that I made a pre-order, I was very upset only by postponing the date to a later date, but on the whole it benefited the game, also upset the lack of new missions in the company. But overall the game is super! Thank you blizzard!

    It's fine. Aside from needing to be connected online to play and having lost access to some custom maps, it is a welcome update with many great features. Fans of the old school chunky graphics are in luck, thanks to blizzards continual support for this game they can enjoy a refreshing experience at no extra cost.

    At the beginning we had no MMR, but now we already have the implemented hidden MMR. We received a big post from Blizzard, explaining why things are like this atm, and    Positives:

    As of this moment, campaign, variety of custom games, 1v1 + 2v2 + 3v3 + 4v4 + FFA are working just fine for me, so I'm glad I bought it. My game never crashed, and I saw 0 lag (my PC is "budget" at best).
    Also buying this game is a way for me to say thank you to the game developer, for many many hours of fun in the net cafe's with friends.

    Negatives:
    Although I see sometimes streamers are getting desync issues in 4v4, and complain about interface some issues, but I honestly can't even notice them.
    Not much new compared to old WC3 Classic, even missing thins like clans, proper chat, profile.
    New graphics (you can choose between old classic graphics and new reforged ones) make things like "unit surround" very hard. Generally targeting doesn't feel good enough atm.

    Neutral:
    It seems that most of the players forgot that Blizzard said that they will implement ranked/ladder the same way it was done for Star Craft Remastered - after first season (which I think is matter of some weeks, but don't quote me on that). I'm glad that there is no ranked atm, bcz if bugs were making players loose games due to unresolved technical issues, and those looses would have stayed forever in their acc match/statistics/history, it would be way worse.    … Expand

    I am having a great time with the game, got lucky and don't have any issues I guess. Same game I haven't stopped playing since I was a kid, for sure worth all the money I spent on it.

    Blizzard lied with the game, okay, the graphics are good, it works on the e 9400 and ptx 2060 well, but you can no longer install the client of the original version of Warcraft 3. What? Just three months ago I started the game and everything was fine.

    приемлемая озвучка, сделаны подвиды героев кампании(паладины, нетрезимы и т.д.), ослепительная анимация персонажей и т.д.. А со всеми остальными неуладицами метелица разберется.    Я доволен игрой. Хоть при покупке предзаказа в сетевой игре иногда вылетало,

Чтобы всю ночь пялится в экран, без наушников, с тихим звуком, но с громкими матами со всех сторон ( каэсники в ушах сидели) от тимммейтов и противников.     Да наебали. Да за деньги. Да нового ничего нет.Но меня не наебали. Я ждал Варкрафт, я получил Варкрафт. Оно играется на 10-ке без вопросов. Онлайн живой.
    Да в старом варике все то же самое. Но мы растем, игры стареют и классику ты уже запускаешь с чувством ностальгии.
    Хуй знает почему так, почему давно не запускал классику. Не знаю.
    Но рефордж более чем зашёл.
    Сказать " Просто ты заплатил и тебе обидно за потраченные деньги"
    Нет. Не обидно. Тем более вернуть можно. Но желания возвращать нет. Вообще.
    Тем более понимаю, что близзы будут добавлять новое. Придавать лоск. Вернут что не донесли на старте. В общем будет поддержка.
    Это как с ремейками фильмов. Много фильмов любимы именно ремейки, а не оригиналы. Хз почему так происходит.
    Пока рефордж не стал лучше оригинала, возможно и не станет. Но за чувство ностальгии, которое он дал, просто спасибо.    … Expand

    I honestly don't know what people who gave it 0 expect from a Reforged. Bought it some time ago, played it now and it's amazingly well crafted.
    Sound is great, graphics a bit too saturated but you can tone it down and the gameplay and mood of the game stay exactly as they were - perfect.
    I'd recommend Reforged to anyone anytime!

    The game is a cash grab at a legendary series. The graphics look "better" but besides that, it's in every way worse than the original. Which btw received all of the technical issues that the reforged version has. Avoid this game. Avoid Blizzard.

    For everyone who still want to look at this game rationally:
    Most important part - this is one of my favorite games and one of    This community “event” - trashtalk Reforged/Blizzard and everyone who supports it - is a disgrace for gaming community. This isn’t an objective criticism it has nothing to do with “i want to make gaming industry better” it’s just a childish way to express anger.
    For everyone who still want to look at this game rationally:
    Most important part - this is one of my favorite games and one of best RTS games in history, which finally get a brand new models and animations which looks GREAT, I actually love it.
    If it was possible to make WC3 better - this was the only way.
    And i am really gratefull.
    I never encountered a single bug, nor fps loss.
    Yeah, Blizzard did cut some social functions and access to original game - but, really, this is a 20 years old dust, who cares ? And they even give an option to play with old graphics and gonna bring some functions back.    … Expand

Я ждал именно ремейка. Чтоб ничего не поменялось, кроме графики. И я этого дождался. Меня всё устроило! Даже более чем! Например, +2 задания в прологе.     Моё резюме. Всё тот же геймплей, как и в юности ) Чуток улучшите, и я скажу - ВАУ!

    People have lost their minds. It looks awesome widescreen. Did people forget that this is not Warcraft IV? It looks and feels the way I remember it but updated enough to make me forget how bad it would look now. There is one menu that animates a bit slow but that's it.     I myself don't feel like reforged deserves the money but, nonetheless, it really is good. Models are great. Unique npcs have unique models. Everything is retextured/remodelled. Cut-scenes... You guys want James Cameron -level drama and explosions or what? Those cut-scenes were and are **** outstanding now.

    Menu lag? I see menu for like 15 seconds a day.

    P.S. I don't care what they promised you and I didn't read/watch their promotions. I bought a remaster, I enjoy it.

    UPD: Many people are telling about performance issues, fps drops, glitches, bugs, crashes etc. Probably are trolls or trying to run it on Pentium II. i5 9th gen + 2060 + 16ddr4 = 60 fps constant, **no issues at all** after 3 days of playing it.    … Expand

    This game doesn't deserve such hate and bad score. The visuals are good and the original story has been touched a little in a good way. Needs improvements? Yes it does. It's sad that people are aren't patient about their needs and ruining the game...

    Hope things get better in the future.

    I want to say Blizzard thanks for your work! There are no words!Everything is very cool redrawn, the models became livelier and everything as a whole is more colorful.I do not understand the indignation about the delay in the exit of the game. in my opinion this is completely irrelevant, like most criticisms. The game is beautiful, interesting, nostalgic.

    Для начала скажу, что я не ярый фанат варкрафта.     Для начала скажу, что я не ярый фанат варкрафта. Ждал ремастеред больше из-за того, что это стратегия в реальном времени, которые я очень люблю, но которых на сегодняшний день очень мало. Я активно следил за новостями по разработке игры, пытаясь нарыть о ней хоть что-то в интернете. Позже появились сливы озвучки, которые уже тогда заставили многих из отечественного комьюнити бомбить на ремастеред . Еще чуть позже появилась очень сырая бета версия игры, которая вызвала еще одну волну жопных взрывов, но уже всемирную. Смотря на бету, было понятно, что у Blizzard остается два пути - либо выпустить игру сырой, что будет полным провалом, либо перенести ее, что ,конечно же, поджарит седалища всем не терпящим, однако даст время все доработать, что в последствии и сделали. И вот к релизу игры мы получаем филигранно прожаренные задницы, которые уже никакой "Ледяной трон" не сможет охладить.
    Теперь к конкретным минусам игры, которые высказывают игроки. Много отрицательных комментариев посвящено тому, что Blizzard скопировала старую игру без внесения каких либо изменений, которые на начале релиза обещали. И тут хочется задать вопрос, почему так? Да потому что мудрое комьюнити посчитало УЖАСНЫМ какие-либо изменения в игре, начиная с интерфейса, заканчивая картой "Очищение Стратхольма". Blizzard прислушалась к мнению статных олдов и поменяла все к чертовой матери, да так ,что даже расположение травы было взято строго из оригинала. Попросили, так получайте... Вопрос, где же сейчас это подавляющее большинство людей, желавших сохранить игру в исконном виде? Наверное, они испарились. А может, они и не появлялись, просто увидели в интернете невыносимое опорочивание первоисточника, высказали свое мнение, запили горе и пошли гулять с детьми... В итоге, из-за попытки Blizzard угодить игрокам ,у игры просто не осталось шансов на успех.
    Я даже не думал, что когда-нибудь буду защищать Blizzard и их ремастер Варкрафта. Я не идеализирую Blizzard, как кто-нибудь ,наверное, мог подумать. Я видел, как эта кампания не раз поливала дерьмом игроков и выпускало никому не нужные игры на мобилки. Однако, я просто не могу наблюдать за тем, как комьюнити уничтожает все мои мечты и надежды. Мне плевать на то, окупятся ли разработчики, будет ли новая стратегия по варкрафту, я просто хочу верить в то, что выход этой игры это долгожданное возвращение RTS, а не начало конца. Всем добра!     Maybe I'm not so strong fan of Warcraft 3 and, maybe, I just cant see some problems, but, for me this game looks great. I already pass some companies and I don’t have any problem with this game. Russian translation also great. Last time i played W3 a 20 years ago and now this is like a lot of nostalgia for me.

    Perfect, I cannot tell you how much fun it is to play this game. I liked the original version a lot and played it a long time. But the reforged version makes it a complete other experience. Almost all textes are spoken in German and they still have the best speakers ever. I know, when blizzard is releasing something it is always 100%.     If you had followed along with Blizzard during the development process you wouldn't be so suprised as to what was released. I like the game and will enjoy for years to come. The only downside is the lack of the LAN feature. This was my childhood and I realize I can just join games online with them but it still hurts a wee bit

    I dont understand why are u hating this game. Everything is ok. I'm really enjoy it and feel 15 years younger. This is REMASTER, not REWORK or REMAKE. If you dont understand a differences, it's your problem.

I also have a few friends that would come over to play LAN multiplayer rounds with me. This remaster (reforged) is excellent. I have been enjoying the beta and now I am enjoying the full release thoroughly. I am a nerd and have 5I never quit playing Warcraft 3. I haven't had any issue playing the game on any of them. When I say varying hardware I mean some computers have Intel CPU with Nvidia graphics, some have AMD CPU with Nvidia graphics, and one has Intel CPU with AMD Radeon graphics. I can't understand why anyone would be having trouble running the game unless they had an extremely cheap gaming computer... and mine are not considered top of the line gaming machines by any measure any longer. They were maybe 4 years ago. I basically logged in to throw down my 10/10 score to do my part to help fix this games metacritic rating. I have nothing but love for this game and this remaster.… Expand

Кампанию и так все считали отличным по этому про её изменения речи особой не шло. Собственно о чём просили то и получили, да есть баги, но их пофиксят. Зато подумайте это же поддержка старого доброго варкрафта!     Played through the campaign prologue yesterday. The game looks great and the mechanics are still as I remembered them. Blizz did a great job refreshing this title rather than letting it die like WCI and WCII. After all, it is the essential setup for WoW.

    Nostalgia... This is exactly what I wanted to get, such a beautiful remaster of the legendary game. I don't understand why the score is so low... This is not warcraft 4 this is a remaster of our favorite game... I am very happy because with the release of the game, the game will have new patches, which means new chips. This is a good enough alternative to StarCraft, where entire armies are fighting. Here, rather compact units fight, where the outcome of the fight depends on microcontrol. As a result-10/10.     Теперь можно заново насладиться кампанией, мультиплеером и кастомками с отличной графикой и обновлённым интерфейсом. Просто великолепный ремастер за копейки. Очень рад покупке.

    The game has its little bugs but its fixable... Game is totaly in new coat which is fine.... also switchable to normal classic style. They remade some maps in story which is cool and they remade introduction trailer and old cinematics have now higher resolution quality which is great :)

Графика не спорю, каждому своё, Артаса старого нет, просто потому что актёр давно умер, а ОРИГИНАЛЬНЫЙ АНГЛИЙСКИЙ Артас похож на нынешнего. Да и многие фанаты злились из-за того интерфейса blizzcon 2018. Ещё раз, это просто ремастер, не новая игра, не Warcraft 4, неЭто просто ремастер игры.     Я не понимаю почему люди занижают оценки и пишут что компания не выполнила свои обещания . Мной были пройдены уже 3 компании и сыграно 15-20 совместных игр . Я очень доволен тем что увидел , многие уровни очень интересно переделаны + шикарные новые модельки . Согласен что игры немного сыровата , но не согласен с оценкой в 2 балла .Я не понимаю почему люди занижают оценки и пишут что компания не выполнила свои обещания . It was hard to play old version on new hardware, because of old models, textures and effect. Since this is still Warcraft 3 - 10 out 10.     Reddit hivemind at it again. They get the idea that the game is bad from all the people trash talking on reddit and the W3 General lobby and come on here to give it a zero score. If you liked original WC3 and Frozen Throne, this is a great game. The population increased a ton on release from beta, so they're working out multiplayer kinks but the campaign works. I played over 150 games inReddit hivemind at it again. It can also be monetized which is what the original wc3 was lacking, so it can finally become an eSport again outside of China.     Прошел пролог и кампанию за Лордерон и Плеть. Не одного бага и вылета не было, фпс не проседал. Озвучка шикарная. Не понятно откуда столько ненависти и соплей в рецензиях.

Но стоит понимать, что мы сами хотели, просили, требовали. Проектов у Близов много и просто взять и найти персонал для такого проекта не реально. К тому же это не основный разработки.     I am of the opinion that the balancing, story and game play of the original game were just about perfect- the ONLY thing dated in that game to date, were the graphics. So the only thing I wanted out of this remaster was updated visuals- and I got exactly that. The new models and textures are absolutely incredible when compared to the old game, the difference is night and day. You can zoom ALL THE WAY IN and the models still looks incredible.

    I'm about 1/3rd of the way through the campaign and have not run across a single bug, performance issues- or any problems at all. For the life of me, I cannot comprehend all of the negativity surrounding the user reviews- for some reason it seems that people had the expectation that this was a sequel and are outraged that there is no new content and that the story wasn't changed.... this is a **** remaster of the original... it's NOT Warcraft 4. I knew EXACTLY what I was getting when I bought this, because I'm not a moron. If you loved the original and you just wanted a visual upgrade, this is a fantastic buy, especially on a 4K set-up.    … Expand

    I've been playing wow for over 7 years and I loved this game, excellent graphics, wonderful voice acting, my new favorite game and look that I'm not a fan of rts games, I didn't have any problems with bugs

    Теперь о моих личных впечатлениях.
    Визуал - отлично, 9 из 10.
    Озвучка - есть недостатки, но в целом неплохо, 8 из 10.
    Катсцены - вполне годные, пусть и несколько уступают первоначально запланированным, 8 из 10.
    Синематики - для 2020 года откровенно слабоваты, выезжают только за счет ностальгии. Тем, кто не играл в оригинальную игру, будут резать глаз. Очень жаль, что Близзард решила сэкономить именно на этом. Все-таки финальный ролик - что-то вроде награды для игрока, пик эмоций и проч. 4 из 10.
    Изменения компаний. Да, да, они таки есть. Я просмотрел пока только часть миссий, и серьезно измененных из них было только две - Стратхольм и Луносвет. Обе сделаны просто отлично. Вроде бы должны быть еще шесть, но это не точно. И жаль, что не добавили хотя бы парочку совсем новых. 7 из 10.

    Итоговая оценка. Хотел было поставить 7, но добавлю балл для компенсации массового хейта игры.
    Очень надеюсь, что такая "горячая" встреча все-таки не окончательно похоронит желание разработчика далее заниматься доработкой Warcraft 3 и стратегиями вообще.    … Expand

    As a regular Warcraft 3 player and a fan of custom user maps, I just adore new models and high res textures, they really brought new life into my favorite game. I also appreciated that they didn't change the interface like on blizzcon, it was awful. Reforged is a perfect example of how to adapt old graphics without changing the core gameplay.

    Очень понравился итоговый продукт, есть над чем поработать, но я уверен, что Blizzard всё отполируют, с нетерпением жду нового контента.     Я считаю что игра получилась отличной, несмотря на переносы дат релиза и прочие огрехи, мне как человеку который сыграл сотню часов в RoC и чуть больше в TFT игра понравилась.

    I am glad to play in this game again, remember the time when I have back from school and play it a lot. For me its huge nostalgy. In total we have a good game with minor bugs, I hope they are fix them.

    Yes, they removed new detailed terrain and trees. Yes, they removed new compact interface. Yes, they almost haven't done any cinematic reworks. Yes, there is some bugs at start. But I still have exactly what I wanted when Reforged was announced. Good old W3 with new vision. I    Yes, they've shown not what we have now.

I'm glad they saved old style of environment and interface, saved right contrast perception of colors without too much shadows and shaders. It could be another game with another ambiance if they would did it first way they wanted. They gave wrong expectations when they changed way of development after alpha. It was general Blizzard's mistake. But I'm glad I have this one W3 remaster.    … Expand

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
