    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Лично мне игра понравилась. Да у меня были технические ошибки (автоматические поражения), но у какой игры нет проблем на старте. Я понимаю , что игроки получили не то чего ждали и мне тоже неприятно видеть как Blizzard ввела в заблуждение игроков (я против такого хоть я и фанат метелицы ) . НО эта игра не заслуживает таких оценок Я ЗА ТО ЧТОБЫ БЫЛИ СДЕРЖАНЫ ОБЕЩАНИЯ , НО САМА ИГРА НЕ УЖАСНА И НЕ ПЛОХА , она средненькая и сырая , но даже у неё есть хорошие стороны (например переданная атмосфера той далёкой легенды я прохожу пролог за орду и меня затягивает) и поэтому я считаю , что оценка этой игре от 4 до 6 из - за неправильной рекламной кампании.… Expand

    Этот ремастер куда лучше ремастера SC1 и вложено в него куда как больше сил. Вы хоть прошли сюжетку!? Как убивает Артас демона Мал'Ганиса!? Как превращается в андеда сам лично, как убил Сильвану и сделал её нежитью!? Видели!? Я вот видел! Да, у игры есть проблема с просадкой фпс в 1 единственном моменте сюжетной кампании (люди 3 миссия, на секунды 3-4 вне боя); да, есть дисконекты вЭтот ремастер куда лучше ремастера SC1 и вложено в него куда как больше сил. Вы хоть прошли сюжетку!? Как убивает Артас демона Мал'Ганиса!? Как превращается в андеда сам лично, как убил Сильвану и сделал её нежитью!? Видели!? Я вот видел! Да, у игры есть проблема с просадкой фпс в 1 единственном моменте сюжетной кампании (люди 3 миссия, на секунды 3-4 вне боя); да, есть дисконекты в сетевых матчах, да, нет анимаций, что хотели сделать! Но все остальное выглядит сочно, классно, эпично! Народ, вы что делаете!? Какие нули!? Если продажи будут высоки- будут новые длц, наверняка будут на уровне 2 старика. Не гробите серию из-за пары ошибок и хайпа... иначе будет она как C&C серия. Ептыть, опомнитесь! Просто пройдите сюжетку! Подождите патчей! Или вас так приперло от отсутствия анимаций в катсценах?!     Я абсолютно доволен игрой. Приятно осознавать, что спустя столько лет, это всё тот же старый Варкрафт 3. Со старыми анимациями, со старыми сценами, но с новой графикой, игра не потеряла дух того времени, когда я проходил её впервые.
    Понравилась озвучка персонажей и, в частности, Артаса. Да, в прошлом его русская озвучка была очень запоминающейся и особенной, однако меня всегда напрягала    Я абсолютно доволен игрой. Да, в прошлом его русская озвучка была очень запоминающейся и особенной, однако меня всегда напрягала вечная легкая раздраженность в голосе Артаса, даже в самом начале, когда он только здоровается с Утером. Сейчас же этого нет и Артас разговаривает как обычный человек, без дерзости, но с пониманием ответственности, лежащей на нём. И теперь его голос плавно изменяется с ходом сюжета, а не остается однообразным всю игру.
    Жаль, что так вышло с катсценами, конечно. Хоть они мне нравятся и в классическом виде, было бы интересно посмотреть на них. Но я думаю, что под шквалом всего возмущения игроков вокруг, Близзард исправит это позже. Но пока за это минус балл.
    Минус балл за сыроватость, вроде загрузочных экранов и лагов. Но, раз это всё равно исправят потом, то нет особых поводов переживать.
    Плюс один балл за малыша Тимми - Он больше не выглядит маленьким лысым уродцем))
    Суммарно - 9 баллов. Надеюсь, что этот проект еще получит определенную поддержку патчами и корректировками. Спасибо Близзард за то, что позволили вернуться в детство)    … Expand

    Good game close to original, most custom maps work, if you got a good computer you don’t lag. Release was bad but they fixed it 4 hours in, and off working flawlessly now. 5/5

    Yes, it's clearly not the game we all have been waiting for. We've got a lot of expectations cuz of all the promises Blizzard made. But still. It's not that bad. It's a good remaster. Not a remake - remaster. but still.
    Give them time - I'm sure Blizzard would figure everything out.

    Я надеюсь что в скором времени баги поправят(не прошло и недели может что нибудь да изменится). Игра сыровата, но в любом случае мне важен сюжет, а не мультиплеер

    Funny thing is even when Blizzard massively didn´t deliver on their promises, I mean c´mon it is still polished better looking version with small things added to the mix of the one we all enjoyed and that is something I can be happy with + I might be lucky one, but so far I did not get any crashes or technical issues.     Game is really good.
    If you are one of those people who was playing campaign mode of WC3 at least once a year, this game will make you happy. Graphics are good, ingame cutscenes and story is really good. Could it be better? Yes, I would of course expect every cinematic to be remade like the intro one, but as story goes, it's mostly ingame anyways. And we all should know how long a

    Could it be better? Yes, I would of course expect every cinematic to be remade like the intro one, but as story goes, it's mostly ingame anyways. And we all should know how long a proper CGI cinematic work and effort takes, if you don't a lot! It would double the price and amount of time we had to wait.

    So, personally I would just lower my 2 points from that and maybe some lack of details like weather and atmosphere effects in 3D engine and interface resizing.

    But that's really all I can think about and these kind of small negatives surely don't make it a 1 or 0 at all. Not allowing custom maps to be owned by their makers is also very understandable, Blizzard just does not want another DotA incident that will create another DotA 2 and LoL.

    Game is good work with my pc setup, but I would like better servers for the lobby and custom hotkey binding. Campaign and graphics is ok in my opinion, but i'm most pvp player.

    Also in the game there is no button "single player" and "additional campaign" and i'm can't play single custom games =C

    I finished Prologue and half of the Alliance campaign, with no crashes or errors. The original main menu was better as for me, and loading screens are not localized in languages other than English, wich looks ugly. The main menu works slow now, but I believe it will be fixed soon. Ingame graphics is great, unit models, animations... That is just what I wanted - modern look but with feeling of old Warcraft.
    I play the game in other language than English and the Russian voices in original were better and more colourful. But in general the new voices are acceptable.

    What I would whant to be added?
    The new interface, the new cinematics, translated loading screens, more old-style and optimized main menu. In this case it would be 10/10, but now I would give only 8/10.

    If you're a Warcraft 3 fan, you may certainly buy this game to delve into your beloved gameplay and story without a need to see angular units. It's a good revision of a great game. I'm glad to see it on my PC and I'll definetly play hundreds of hours in this great game again. Though I'd like to see Blizzard to introduce at least a new UI and a new main menu.

    Я прошел Пролог и половину кампании Альянса, пока не встретил никаких ошибок и вылетов. Главное меню в оригинале мне нравилось больше, надписи на загрузочных экранах в кампании не переведены, что выглядит странно и уродливо. Главное меню тормозит. Но это, я уверен, скоро исправят.

    Графика в самой игре великолепна. Новые модели и анимации - супер. Это именно то, чего я хотел - современный внешний вид, не убивающий ощущения старого варкрафта. Новая озвучка мне нравится меньше старой, но терпимо.

    Что хотел бы добавить?
    Новый интерфейс, новые ролики, переведенные карты на загрузочных экранах кампаний, более оптимизированное и симпатичное главное меню. Тогда было бы 10/10, сейчас только 8/10.

    Если вы любите Warcraft 3, смело покупайте игру. Просто не ждите от нее чудес, это ведь переиздание великой игры, а не новая игра. Вы сможете снова погрузиться в любимый геймплей и сюжет, не глядя на треугольных персонажей. Уверен, что проведу сотни часов в этой версии, в сюжете и в сети. Но все же хотел бы, чтобы внедрили хотя бы новое меню и новый интерфейс, они бы не помешали.    … Expand

Да, на релизе было получше и побольше обещанного, однако, спасибо Близзардам что выпустили Warcraft 3 в новой графике. Почему-то игроки ждали Warcraft 4 (совершенно с новым и движком и возможностями), но это перевыпуск на новую графику, и с этим планом Близзард почти справились, еслиСтавлю максимальный балл, т.к. слишком недооценен варкрафт.     Loving the nostalgia, and having a blast. Runs great on a new computer, whereas trying to run classic was problematic at times, and hard on the eyes. Can't wait to see some of the other features implemented, and gonna lose a lot of sleep while blitzing through the campaign before knocking out countless hours of Wintermaul!

    While the game does not have many of the features initially advertised, it was made known and circulated fairly widely what features were being cut. There may have been some slick marketing gimmicks with the presentation that all the cut scenes would be redone in a movie like fashion, that was never stated.

    I have not run into any of the game breaking errors that other users are reporting and I am happy to have the game that I recall so fondly brought forward and visualized. I do hope that they bring some of that promised content into the game eventually, as DLC packs or something.

    My personal experience of the game so far would honestly be a 10, but i do acknowledge that people are unhappy and that blizzard should have made the complete state of the game, what was included and what was cut etc, public before release so people could request refunds or at least temper their expectations.

    Communication is key, and this is what i hope blizzard takes out of this. Give some of the features that were cut as free updates to people who purchased the game, and going forward just communicate with the players!    … Expand

    Love playing Footmen Frenzy again! Been playing through the beta. So fun. Not sure why all the dislike. Custom games and multiplayer works great. Don't care about who owns the maps. I just want something fun to play. And it's reliving Footies again! Yay.

Да, игра не идеальна и требуются некоторые работы над ошибками (дело пары-трёх патчей), но 1.2 балла это явно незаслуженная оценка для этой игры. Да и большинство "критиков" громят игру даже не поиграв в неё лично, насмотревшись недостримеров и прочитав статьи таких же недокритиков. Мне действительно нравится как переработали все модели в игре они стали очень прилично выглядеть, смотреть очень приятно (при этом я считаю, что в классической версии чудесный стиль и он мне безумно нравится). не понимаю, почему никто не обращает внимание на переделанный пролог в игре, его расширили больше чем вПоиграл в компанию порядка 7 часов, за все время я не встретил ни одного бага.     A Masterpiece - Reforged.

    Blizzard did a great Job with this remaster. They did way more than they needed to do. almost every mission has new cutscenes , voice acting and goals. So much love did they put in this game. Its easy the first GOTY Contenter 2020. At its core its the same Masterpiece as Warcraft 3 but they did almost everything new and better. Its like the best game ever made    A Masterpiece - Reforged.

My honest impressions can be found below (for info, I played the crap out of Warcraft 3 back in the day and finished the expansion and replayed the game several times during the course of the past 17 years. I have never played WOW):

    I'm playing WIII:R on a newly purchased I7 9750 gaming laptop, 16gb ram, GTX    I just bought the game and finished the Orc campaign in one run. I had a blast. My honest impressions can be found below (for info, I played the crap out of Warcraft 3 back in the day and finished the expansion and replayed the game several times during the course of the past 17 years. I have never played WOW):

    I'm playing WIII:R on a newly purchased I7 9750 gaming laptop, 16gb ram, GTX 1660 ti and an SSD. the laptop is connected to a 240hz, 27" gaming monitor that produces crisp and detailed graphics at 1080p resolution maximum. My rig runs all the latest games on high settings. Therefore, my video settings were set to 1080p - high graphics and the game played smoothly, I didn't encounter any graphical glitch whatsoever or even slowdowns or drops in framerates in intense battles (I encountered one other bug I will describe in the cons section below)

    Pros:
    - The remastered graphics are fantastic. The game is colourful and detailed. If you zoom in on the characters, you'll notice their detailed and shiny armors and skins. The graphics are a huge improvement over the original and don't believe all these crying babies that tell you otherwise. Your pions / grunts and heroes have much more polygons and it is noticeable. It is difficult to go back to the original version of the game after playing the remastered version. Characters have more fluid and detailed animations as well, buildings are colourful and have animation. Resolution is crisp, the overall look and feel of the game is great.
    - The game plays smoothly on higher frame rates (at least on my PC) and I did not have the impression it is very demanding in terms of PC requirements, there are much more options than the original in the video section in order to adjust the game at your liking.
    - Gameplay is surprisingly fresh and enjoyable for a 17 years remastered old game. Battles are still exciting and challenging at higher difficulties. I noticed there are slight improvement to the story, like more relics the heroes can grab for their inventory.
    - Sound is remastered and very crisp and detailed. Music is great.
    - I am a single player person most of the time, but I tried a multiplayer match for the sake of this review as well as a skirmish match against the AI. Verdict: it's quick and easy to run into a multiplayer match or adjust the conditions for a multiplayer map. I had some difficulties finding the Skirmish at first, but it's definitely there and there are different scenarios/ maps to extend the fun after you complete the story.
    - There are different skins you can unlock (by beating challenges or missions) and use them as Avatar. It's not very interesting as I don't care about this kind of things but some people might enjoy unlocking them all. And there are quite a few.
    - You have the ability to chat with other players from the main lobby and share some information. you can interact with them, by requesting friendship for example or reporting them even.
    - Navigating the options is intuitive and responsive, and as I mentioned before you have quite a few options you can adjust. Much more than the original that's for sure.
    - There is an option to play with the remastered graphics or original. Try it and see the difference

    Cons:
    - Blizzard should have sold the game at a discount for the people that already own W3. It is unfair that a game you bought 18 months ago just disappears and you are unable to access it anymore. I even think it is illegal.
    - I noticed a bug where after completing a mission, the game crashes when you are starting the next mission and immediately shows you the "defeat" screen. It is easily remediable by leaving the game and accessing it again. These bugs can easily and quickly be addressed with a patch.

    To conclude: I would like to thank Blizzard for the efforts they put in this game. I hope their developers can read this review and know that there are genuine people out there that have an independent opinion and who truly appreciate the efforts they put to bring us this amazing game. Also I have zero doubt that 99% of these so called reviewers here have either not played the game or are expressing a political or business related opinion against Blizzard. Anyway, it is too obvious these opinions are biased and not based on facts. Blizzard, keep sending us the good stuff and we will support your efforts by purchasing your products and show you our gratitude.

    10/10 will replay it again and again.    … Expand

    Спасибо за проделанную работу, кто бы что не говорил а графика и прорисовка это 10 баллов. Ну а в начале все ДЕТИЩА близов до вменяемого состояния догонялись сотнями патчей, тот вк3 тфт.     То что ожидали от ремастера, то и получили. Игра красивая и интересная, в одном орке полигонов стало больше чем во всём варкрафте 3 целиком. Хейттрейн не заслуженный, думайте своей головой.

    A game I’m very much enjoying. Could they have done more? Sure. But it’s wonderful to revisit this world again with enhanced graphics and a few new mechanics. Is it worth the re-bombing being done by people who've not even played the game? No.

    Good game. I was waiting this game to play wc3 campaigns again, like 17+ years ago, but with new graphics and I have exactly what I was waiting for.
    But in the same time few bugs make this game "not blizzard quality" game. Also I do not like, that old wc3 game is no longer available.

    Been playing the campaign, and this game is awesome. I'm aware it had a rocky start, but things are coming together and I'm having a blast and the graphics look great!

    I really like the new graphics and having the option to switch back to the classic graphics. I jumped into a 1v1 game vs A.I. and it felt as good as all the matches I've played of Warcraft III over the years. So far so good, can't wait to finish the story campaign! Thanks for this game and all you do, Blizzard!

    Positive review just to balance all the 0s. The game is neither a 10/10 nor is it a 0/10. It's more around 5-6/10, and it definitely does not deserve to be under crap like Day One: Garry's Incident. You may be butthurt, but it's an adequate game.

    Warcraft 3 is for me 10/10, so Reforged is 9/10. Any one who gave 0/10 automaticaly acclaimed that Warcraft 3 is not worthy to get more than 2/10. As I said, normal fans are gone, fan sites are now dens of haters. It`s you.

    In my opinion people expected way too much from this remaster, I think it's great for what it is and it runs well on my computer. Another thing people have been hysterical about is the ToS changes, but those changes were necessary and shouldn't come as any surprise.

    Proper Ultra-wide monitor support, 120 fps, hd models and the great game is back again! While the launch was not 100% smooth, the remaster delivered on everything I hopped for - the game feels like it did playing it back 18 years ago.

    This is a great remake of a classic game. The graphics are crisp on modern systems, the game play is as I remember it, and the UI has been given a nice overhaul.

    Not all the multi-player features of WCIII have been added...yet. Blizz always tweaks their strategy games after they go live and have had a bit of stress testing. I expect we'll see those added soon.

    Многие дети увидят тут проявления говноедства. Тупым детям невдомёк, что говноедство и преданность любимой компании — это разные вещи.
    Игра отличная, всем рекомендую к приобретению.

    Had a blast with this one. Not as bad as people say it is. Maybe because of nostalgia but even with the stripped features wc3 is ons of my favourite games of all time.

    this game is too good to exist i know this game is full of cut content and horrible glitches but that enhances the experience! this game is up there with the likes of big rigs and bubsy 3d!!!!!!

    It is just a remastered game, calm down. Masterpiece with new textures, minor bugs shurly will be fixed, you can even activate older graphics. Custom maps are working as well, campaign is nostalgic. I don't understand what where you were expecting? It's a solid 8 with some bugs.

    Нормальная игра всё что разработчики обещали они реализовали. Единственная проблема это рекламщики не поддерживали связь и не обеспечивали основную массу игроков которая не умеет ни то что читать а даже слушать.

    So happy this remaster just came out.

    I like it a lot, and despite needing a bit of polish (like almost all games available, at launch), it feels incredible to get back into that good old game that I loved so much back in the days.
    I hope other reviewers will honestly give it a try and mature their reviews.

    The online matchmaking isn't working well, but I do love that they stuck with the original design and kept all the cool sounds. Overall, good game and hopefully will get better with patches.

    This is a very good remaster. There is only one thing that doesn't work well - menu. Yes, it was suppose to be a remake, but people said that it wouldn't be "warcraft 3". So Blizzard did everything they had to do. Everyone who says that this remaster is worse than old game is lying. I'm in the middle of the campaign and I'm reliving it all over again.

    Let me first confess that I didn't play the original series. Now I know why people love the series! This game has been eating my free time like crazy. I'm planning on setting my alarm on a weekend to get in as much playing as I can. I hope to see some DLC coming for this game.

The 9/10 is given for the fact that the cutscenes could be much better for a remastered game. $30 is a good price, but I see potential to make it better from such a great developer. Прошел половину компании на одном дыхании с огромным удовольствием и приливом ностальгии . Искренне надеюсь что разработчики до полируют эту игру, и она станет такой же культовой как и старая ее версия. Главное не сдаваться и делать ее лучше. К сожалению "НЕДОКРИТИКИ" просто хоронят этот бриллиант не давая ему продыхнуть. А ведь возможно когда то по этой серии игр сняли бы какой нибудь добротный сериалец! А с таким фиаском становится ясно что лучше и не трогать эту замечательную историю потому что люди разбились на 2 фронта: одним подавай точную копию только красивую а другим что то измененное... А для идеальной игры им просто не хватило времени, если бы они ее перенесли не на месяц а на пол года то возможно все прошло бы куда лучше !     Я не знаю почему все так накинулись, мне лично очень понравилось играть в одну из любимийших игр с обновленной графикой, да может не вся озвучка у них получилась, а может просто придирки из-за того, что привык к старым. В целом я не жалею потраченных денег, а долгое ожидание только усилило радость выхода. А вы товарищи хейтеры, просто зажрались.     Can I write on russian? Я играл в обе старые "версии" Warcraft 3 (throne and chaos) и я рассматриваю эту игру именно со стороны любителя компаний а не PvP. И я хочу сказать, что все стало только лучше. Да, изменилась озвучка, но все таки иногда промелькивают знакомые голоса. За более чем половину всех компаний я нашел только два бага: это багнутый огонь в тумане войны и не разговаривающиеCan I write on russian?     I am not sure about all the hate and issues here. I started playing right at launch, and did not experience 1 10th of the issues alot of people here claimed to have. Sure the classic launcher is no more, but how that impacts the play-ability and quality of this game is not relevant whatsoever. I have played both now, and enjoyed the experience each time, some graphics upgrades and evenI am not sure about all the hate and issues here. I have played both now, and enjoyed the experience each time, some graphics upgrades and even a little bit of new content story wise. The game was very playable, the story remained in tact, and the graphics improved. I ran into a couple of minor glitches that were easily solved with a restart, but it was clearly optimized enough for modern PCs.

    Overall it was a remaster of the original and done right, compared to any other highly rated remasters, these one runs on par if not exceeds some of those others.

    If people expected a whole new game or expected no issues with online play as people wait every release to DDOS or interfere with Blizzard launches, then they are naive.

    I lost alot of faith in Blizzard over the years and don't agree with many things they have done, but this wasn't as bad a game as people claim (in before claims that I am a blizz fanboy).    … Expand

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
