    Made this account just to give a BIG ZERO score on this..
    This "Reforged" was my last hope on Blizzard's redemption on taking back their community..
    And yet its so incredible how to manage to f'ed up one of the legendary game and my childhood memories in this poor excuse of a game release... Almost none of the promise are there, it's just a bad re-texture but with same UI and extra bug    Made this account just to give a BIG ZERO score on this..

    Almost none of the promise are there, it's just a bad re-texture but with same UI and extra bug here and there. Many features that were previously there was gone!
    I would even call this a direct SCAM, calling it cashgrab would be understatement.

    WHY Blizzard, what happened to you? Don't you care about your community anymore? What happened to my loving 17 yr old company that I grew up with?

    Game has half of the promised features. Nothing was working at the release, it's full of crashes, the performance is horrible...
    I'm definitely going to request refund.

    Game content is completely different from the trailer... I used to blindly buy all the games published by Blizzard. You ask me why, because I believe that "Blizzard's products must be fine."     I haven't tried this yet: I owned the old game but couldn't find the serial code. There is no option to buy the old version, so in order to play with my family again we'd all have to get the new version. Blizzard wanted to make money, and they removed the old games from the store when Reforged wasn't even finished yet so people would have to pay $40 for an old game.

    We have many games being remade and this, This is not the way you do it.

    The game is horrible, the animations looks worse than the old game and we got SOO MANY BUGS..

    Unpolished, false promises, buggy, looks and feels unfinished. Can't revert to the old version. May as well build a computer specifically for the older version and NEVER connect to the internet. Blizzard you lost my trust. I stopped hyping about Diablo 4. I'd rather put Diablo and Diablo 2 now in a Zip compressed folder in fear for nostalgia.

    Aside of all known things, like missing features unlike classic game, false advertising and refusing to refund people and banning them, they also shut down the servers for classic Warcraft 3 and force everybody to update to worse Reforged version with classic graphics. Dealing with the fact that custom games are screwed up because you can't deal with the fact that DOTA was made into an actual game when using assets to make another game which is more successful, which you tried to copy the success of for Heroes of the Storm. When dealing with that, the HD graphics which are arguably worse, and you could've just made post-WoD graphics just like the fact that WoW Classic graphics are just WarCraft 3 graphics turned into an MMO. Cinematics promised to look better than the original and shown in your trailer, and you didn't do it. Promised new missions for the HD graphics version which would give lore which focuses on what is important to the new lore of WoW Chronicle and WoW expansions like Legion in general. Of course, this would make sense... But you didn't do it. Disabled the old game client by closing the old Battle Net servers and updating the clients of those who didn't want the old UI. Especially for the fact that unlike StarCraft remastered, you didn't keep the old UI and had an updated graphics version for those who had updated graphics.… Expand

    Not only that, but their new policy regarding custom games destroy any creativity there can be in the editor, because no matter what you do and how popular your map will be Blizzard owns it without question.

    Blizzard is no longer the company it once was. This was an extremely simple project, just update warcraft 3. They failed BEYOND miserably. Blizzard is a joke and I look forward to the day they go out of business from releasing horrible games. Congrats on creating the worst rated game in metacritic history blizzard.

    I specifically made an account to review this game. It's really bad. The HD graphics, new character models, and minor changes to the mini cut scenes are nice. But that is all it is. It is NOT a new game. Imagine spending $30 on skins for your characters in StarCraft 2 or Heroes of the Storm (which I have probably spent over the years when a cool new skin I like is released). I have been watching this game closely ever since they announced it. I played the beta. Now that the campaign has officially dropped I have played through most of it and.... I'll probably just to back to playing the original WC3 ROC and TFT. There are tons of bugs and glitches. Most distressing is that tons of content that was promised and still listed in the marketing hasn't been delivered and probably won't. I was most excited about new cinematic cut scenes. Those were always my favorite part of these games because it felt like such a reward to complete a big section of the campaign and get a nice little cinematic. But that promise (among many others) was not delivered and all we got was the same cut scenes re-scaled. I try to justify this game being what it is because, lets be fair, its $30. Most AAA game titles that are released come at a $60 price tag. So if this was going to be a full-fledged NEW game with all the stuff that was promised (new voice acting, updated UI, changes to the campaign to match lore, being able to switch between Classic and Reforged, etc, etc) then perhaps a $60 price tag would be justified to re-coup the cost of all that content they had ambitions to include? Perhaps trying to hit a price point of $30 they just didn't have the budget to overhaul that much? I am just speculating because I can't imagine why a company with such a reputation as Blizzard would fail to deliver on so much of what was promised in this game. I have been a huge supporter of Blizzard ever since WC2 Tides of Darkness and StarCraft Brood War. This is the biggest disappointment from a loyal fan for over 20 years.… Expand

    This is impressive. Between the Draconic EULA, the removed lines, the broken promises (UI, cutscenes), the removal of the old client when cross-compatibility isn't even available yet, I am astonished at how this thing was even released.

    La cagaron completamente, bugs, políticas que alejan a creadores de mapas, baneos en foros de warcraft, downgrade, y mucho mas. Yo como muchos otros, crecí con este juego, The Frozen Throne fue épico para mi gusto y de este juego conocí dota y muchos otros mapas geniales creados por la comunidad y un remake era la mejor noticia que había escuchado, ahora solo queda esperar la caída deLa cagaron completamente, bugs, políticas que alejan a creadores de mapas, baneos en foros de warcraft, downgrade, y mucho mas.     Haven't bought this version, BUT Battle.net launcher FORCES you to download this (29 gb), even tho you didn't asked for this. So I can't play the original game right now, because I don't want to download this abomination. And the worst part about it: Blizzard would be just fine with all that CoD sales numbers. But they must be sued, because of a quality of an end product

They rushed this so much, that some things from Warcraft 3 BETA are still leftover in the Settings! Варкрафт 3 стал культовой игрой, легендарной игрой сам по себе ,но и еще способствовал появлению других культовых игр , да ладно игр , благодаря варкрафту появились новые жанры - мова,тавер дефенс. Это все заслуга фанатов и редактора, что был вшит в игру. Но вы сейчас убиваете все это. Про русскую локализацию я упоминать не буду в этом море проблем она лишь капля. Дело было не в том, что она не канон или некачественный перевод или нужна переозвучка новых сцен, вам просто было проще штампонуть новую , чем заплатить за права на старую. Новых сцен нет, перевод стал хуже. Артес голос которого меняется , который из наивного, дерзкого юнца становится королем нежити лучше вашего непонятного канона , где артес изначально спокойный и меланхоличный, так почему паладины называют его дерзким? Почему Был даунгрейд графики ? Почему переделали один синематик ? Почему катсцены почти не изменили ? Почему не добавили ничего нового? Почему изменили только 3 миссии из более чем 60? Почему остались старые баги? Почему появились новые баги? Почему не добавили новых функций ? Почему убрали старые функции в батлнете ? Почему появились дисконнекты? Почему вы это сделали ? Почему вы решили убить варкрафт? Почему вам плевать на фанатов? Почему, Почему, ПОчему, ПОЧему,ПОЧЕму,ПОЧЕМу,ПОЧЕМУ? Я не могу ответить на этот вопрос, надеюсь вы можете. Я возвращаю деньги за предзаказ, голос денег,утекающих через ваши пальцы, вы явно слышите лучше, чем наши крики. Думаю вы тоже слышали о фаллаут 76 - это был знатный плевок во всех, но вы переплюнули даже их. Я все сказал вам близард. Абсолютно по всем фронтам взять и обдристаться с брызгами по всем возможным проектам. Причем я далеко не искушенный игрок, и часто закрываю глаза на мелочи, да даже был готов мириться с "даунгрейдом" графики, на фоне    ЗЫААА ДААЛАААРАААНН!!!111!!

    Мне бесконечно грустно это признавать, но Близзард действительно сдохла, как компания, которая делала упор на комьюнити, а не на монету    … Expand

    This game is a travesty and it saddens me that such a prestigious IP will be forever tainted by the stain of this horrendous product.

    I cannot understand how this happened. Your older version of Warcraft 3 get replaced without asking you for this new fail version. And not giving us the posibility of play the older version. In other games platforms like steam, you can always play the old original version of the reworked games. Blizzard is dead, money is all they care

    Basically it's a bloody skin pack and it's not worthy of his price. If we make a paragon between Warcraft III and some sort of masterpiece like a sculpture, Reforged it's like to take that sculpture and cover it with feces. And I don't wanna talk about Blizzard politics about the refunds.

    Lots of promised features removed, lots of features that were a thing back then removed (like custom campaigns), very bad optimization, lots of custom maps unplayable. Overall trash, could just leave classic without adding tons of issues that have to be fixed now. That 30$ was more worth before release due to access to original wc3 which was working really well.

    So i was hyped and thought i could re live my experience , i bought the game and well i couldn't play it. I mean connection issues,and the latency. I mean even the game look so old and like a mobile game . This was poorly done.

    Would give a 1/10 for the improved visuals but there are even issues in that department as well. Alpha level quality as a full release. Blizzard should know better by now given all the negative feedback they have already received.

The menu screens don’t work, the mission start screens don’t work, I the missions aren’t working like they’re supposed to, The units glide across the ground because they put a cap onA game so bad it actually made me make a meta critic account.     I didn't even buy the game, but now because of Wc3:refunded I still got a juicy 15gb + download with all the new assets, slow ui and borked game feature, that got automatically added to my original game CursedPepe. Now I need to reinstall and re-patch without my game getting near battle.net. Not even a choice, and that alone in my opinion, is worth my vote.

    To be honest it is not like "didn't see that coming". Blizzard is changed long time ago and not to the good side. Just don't mistaken, those zero's scores are not from minds of hate, but from hearts of love.... whom feeling broken, scammed and betrayed.

    Since I was 12 years old, my favourite game of all time has been Wc3 (RoC + FT) and I have dedicated 10,000+ of my life to it, loving every second of it. It was such a perfect game in every way imaginable and shaped my childhood along with millions of others.

    Fast forward to 2018, your ReForged trailer hits YouTube and that 12 year old child in me returns, and I tell all my gamer friends about it, my brothers, everyone that after 16 years the greatest game of all time is coming back and I counted down the days until release (despite all the pushbacks).

    At 29 years old now, all my limited spare time I have was going to be invested in Reforged because that game brought me countless hours of joy in life growing up and even as an adult, it was epic beyond words.

    Me being the loyal fan purchased Reforged immediately, and as soon as Jan.28.2020 hits I schedule a day off of work to join the festivities of "opening-day launch"........only to feel like my heart was ripped from my chest. The game was abysmal in every sense of the word... mechanically broken, crappy UI, crashes, numerous bugs. The game was WORSE than the original released in 2002, WHAT?

    Blizzard, I am only praying that one of your employees comes across this review and realize that I was your most loyal fan.... and after the catastrophe of Reforged and experience the feeling of being scammed, ripped-off and falling victim to this Money-Grab, I have cancelled 3 WoW memberships of mine (mine and 2 of my friends -- *Its been active for 10 years**), I will refuse to buy any further product you produce and until I see a gigantic change internally in your Company, you will NEVER receive one more dollar from me in your lifetime.. And I mean this with all my heart.

    Let this serve as your personal wake-up call, because I am speaking as the voice of millions of fans here. Get your **** together and fast, because a full boycott from one of your most LOYAL fans is in full effect and if you continue to rip off more fans like myself, your company will inevitably sink.

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
