    They talked about adding male and female counter parts to heroes. (male and female demon hunter.) They didnt but for some reason the replaced the demon hunter permanently with a female model same with the death knight. I have a digital copy of warcraft3 w/ frozen throne so I can already play wc3 whenever I want. So buying this wasn’t at all what was expected or implied it would be.

    Pros of keeping it? none from what I can see.

    If i want to play warcraft 3 I can literally go play warcraft 3 because I still have the download on MY account. I was not expecting a mod with 99% of the features talked about for 2 years scrapped. Like. it’s just a janky warcraft 3 with graphics that look like plastic figures medieval figures you can get at a dollar store. Like, did we really just pay blizzard 40 effing dollars to add more polygons during game play??? really???

    If you watch the frozen throne ending it’s literally the SAME compressed 240p sounds from 2004 that literally sounds like theres fog in your headphones and the camera is still off center, like… what? I can literally just go play warcraft 3. They up resed the cutscenes which is literally as easy as rendering on updated software. LOL?    … Expand

The trailer back in BlizzCon 2018 was awesome and the whole thing was just a bait, it is not even in the game! It is the same game and you payed a third party, Malaysian company called Lemon Sky studio to make the character models! Where are the new lines you promised, where are the epic music you upgraded the game? Why was the trailer fluffed and the finished project **** You do not give us a finished project, you don't ask a full price for a 17 year old game! It even has the same bugs that the original Warcraft III had! You re-bottled the same thing and we bought it as a brand new, polished game! Blizzard is not Blizzard anymore, it is Activision, Blizzard just dove next to Bethesda as if it was a diving contest. Maybe we should flush you, because you do not even refund those who do not want your crap! That simple shows us, how well you stand for your products!     Well I had a great expectation to this "new" version of the game, bought in hopes of reliving stuff that the community makes, but the game is not properly developed as the game it should be supposed to be sold.

    My biggest issue is that I am from Brazil and I don't even hope to get a refund considering what blizzard is stating about not allowing to refund for it is a US company

Whether this whole debacle has been caused by upper management forcing deadlines on developers, or laziness based on the idea that this is just a remaster and not as important as a brand new AAA release, rest assured that blizzard did their absolutely best to botch this entire thing.

    Warcraft 3 was the first strategy game that I have ever played. Its handcrafted campaign inspired my future love for the genre. However, this game is nothing more than an empty cash-grab, by a company unable or unwilling to put any passion in "reforging" a game that was once their crowning achievement.

    I wanted to play WC3R on my MBP Pro 2019, but it's terribly optimized. Constant crashes after finishing missions, so I issued a refund, however after hearing that blizzard is banning people that navigate others to refund page is just pathetic. RIP Blizzard

    The graphics feel worse than the original, they lack heart and clarity. There is no working ladder, multiple other battle net features are non existent.

    PS And good luck I still have old WC3/TFT CDs, so I can at least continue to play offline in the original :)

    If a D2 remake is in the works I sincerely hope they don't release it at all if it's anything remotely like WC3: Reforged. It'd be better for the company's public image and economy for that matter if they simply released the entire source code - there's a 100% chance fans would do a much better job.

    Since this launched it now overrides the classic Warcraft 3 games, meaning the older ones gets to inherit all the bugs and problems of this new title, and ever since launch I haven't been able to get past the login screen and "Play Offline" is greyed out. Also some other things about forcing creators to comply with handing over documents and project files or they'll get banned if Blizzard wants them...

    Conclusion: Not only does this game not function, it also made the original games which I also own not function, so not only do you get scammed out of the $30 this game costs (and its regional equivalent), you also get scammed (whether you want it or not) by the $60 you paid for the originals. It also tries to steal everything from creators or they will face punishment across ALL Activision-Blizzard titles.    … Expand

    Not only was the remaster disappointing, they even somehow ruined the classic version of the game. I think people would be more forgiving if the mess was just in the remaster. But no, they had to ruin the classic version too.

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
