    This is really bad game. They destroyed the legacy of warcraft. The game looks disgusting. Cheap crafts without quality control. We did not deserve it.

    I'm sad to see Blizzard go down this path as I have been a fan since the original Warcraft lll and for a long time I regarded them as one of the few trustworthy game developers - I see that time is now behind us and they're turning into a corporate machine with little regard for their fans. I hope they can turn around from this.

I was 13 when I first started playing frozen throne it consumed my life in a good way and brought me happiness in an otherwise difficult time. I must have put hundreds of thousands of hours into the game over my life and willI'm sorry Blizzard. This doesn't seem like a tribute to warcraft 3 or a revival it is a funeral and I am sad to see this game get destroyed by its creator. I had higher hopes and dreams of warcraft 4 but after this release I know that will never happen. I wish I could turn back time to when reforged wasn't released, the game was better before. If you care about the fans Blizzard you will make it right and undo your destruction or give warcraft 3 the treatment it deserves. This game sparked and transformed the gaming world.     WarCraft 3 Reign of Chaos and The Frozen Thrones always had a special place on my hearth. When Blizzard announced the Reforged version I was thrilled, the joyful child woke up in me wanting to relive those great memories. Then Blizzard killed it. Thank you, Blizzard.

    I have been a massive fan of the original warcraft games and I am extremely disappointed with this. I was already unhappy that they moved the release a month forward, but to get this as the final product is unreal! There are no character profiles and no ladder ranks etc which makes playing seem pointless. What's the point making flashy new models when they don't even look great zoomed out and when you strip so many elements of the game down, it doesn't feel like a remaster of the original. I either demand a refund or I would accept it if you made the required changes, especially bringing multiplayet improvements in like ladder, unlockables, clans etc.… Expand

    Blizzard, I am really disappointed. I loved this game as a kid and I was so excited, when you presented it on the Blizzcon 2018. I really loved the idea of reworked cutscenes and adjustments in the story telling of this beloved classic.
    But then you rushed this piece of unfinished **** out. It's not even working technically. What have you become? I hate this game and I gonna try to refund it.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. game crashing for no reason, game has many bugs, UI looks really bad, multiplayer client is really bad - its missing so many features- you dont even have a profile!! and channels are a joke with a lot of bugs. this is such a downgrade from wc3 classic. can't believe blizzard let this game out in this state. the only thing they improved in the game is unit models - and in return they took away so many important features and gave us a far worse multiplayer client/server. not worth it at all !!!… Expand

    1) the fact its not developed by blizzard but outsourced into Malaysia
    2) the fact that streamers playing beta played a game completely different than the one i've seen on Blizzcon 3) Blizzard stating in EULA that every map made in map editor is their property (oh boy how they    I have to be completely honest.     - I can't reinstall the classic version - Ranked game functionality has been removed - player profiles have been removed - I lost my friends list - no clans - the custom games and custom campaings library has been removed from the disk - there is no LAN game option (we play like that every    Why did I rate this game 0?

    Whether they meet up with the expectations or not. The game is not that bad like most of the reviews tell us here. Ok, those nice cinematics etc.. are not in the game. But it's still a trip down the memory lane. It's nostalgia with better looking graphics. And that's what matters for me. I'm really enjoying the game now, just like i did when the original game came out 18 years ago.

    It is a shame what false promises and bad company policies spat out this January. The game is a buggy mess with visual errors and rendering bottlenecks during 4k gaming. Multiplayer is only a barebone implementation without proper matchmaking or leaderboards. Joining lobbies gives you a 50/50 chance to either get stuck or directly CTD. Gj blizzard.

    It's awful. I don't own reforged, I own a copy of the original, but the effects of reforged had spread to the original. The engine barely ever lets me into games, blizzard now owns user made maps, and a ton of features unasked for were added. It disgusts me that Blizzard had stooped this low. Blizzard, please fix your company!

    This is actually just ridiculous. A remaster that they even postponed since it "wasn't ready yet" delivers nothing but a couple shiny models that they pretty much just ripped straight from WoW. No effort was put into this crap and it really just shows what blizzard has become these days. (They even disabled shadows in game if you're not on the reforged client, what kind of passive aggressive stuff is that?) A couple dedicated modders would have done a better job in a few months than this, and it's just embarrassing. I sincerely hope that Blizzard will learn something this time as the "Warcraft 3:refunded" meme gets traction, but rumors say that they might even refuse that so maybe they're beyond salvation. Don't even get me started on the custom games. Banning third party assets and CLAIMING everything made in their client as their own intellectual property. What a **** joke.     Это просто ужасно, начиная от того что они не ввели поддержку ultawide, заканчивая ужасной русской озвучкой, я очень разочарован, надеюсь эти уроды из близзарда сгорят в аду за то что они надругались над классикой.

    Activision blizzard has really done it this time. this game is far from what was promised and the company is acting like nothing's wrong and we should be just grateful. and not only that, they went ahead and made the original warcraft3 unavailable so people cant even go back to the version they enjoyed. Shameful

Classic Warcraft 3 gets FORCED UPDATE to this t-h-i-n-g. Don't buy, it is really not worth 30$, I can say it is not worth even 1$.

    My disappointment is so massive I made a metacritic account just to review this.

    My campaign had the infinite defeat loop and once i heard about the custom map debacle I gave up all hope of this game having any sort of decent play-ability.

    A terrible game, a terrible mess, a terrible tribute, a terrible mockery, making little of the fans, caring about nothing other than money. Its a pity it has come to this, but consumers finally have had it with these big companies. And so here is my vote also.

    Just close the company. It's we've had it aith your greed.

    Not only did the falsely advirtised stuff that never happened, but they removed features that were in the original. Oh well, at least I can play the original... oh wait. They made it where you can't play the original game anymore!!

    I usually don’t take the time to rate games but this game was genuinely a disappointment. Took away all our old experience and created a terrible new one. Blizzard. Fix this.

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
