    Уже давно было замечено, что после ухода Криса Метцена из компании, Близзард не может в интересный сюжет. По БфА стало заметно, что она не может уже и в геймплей. Но только по Варкрафт Реворджед стало заметно, что помимо прочих проблем, она не может теперь и в техническую сторону игры.
    Сделать плохой ремастер СВОЕЙ же собственной игры, которая почти за двадцать лет существования стала    Уже давно было замечено, что после ухода Криса Метцена из компании, Близзард не может в интересный сюжет.     Somewhat rushed and lackluster remaster, but not as bad as trolls would have you believe. Despite missed opportunities where terrain graphics, fps, ui, animations and battle sound effects... are concerned, still a welcome and much needed visual overhaul to the original. Hopefully future updates will fix some of the current issues.

    After all the delays, one would have expected that Blizzard would at least take the time to polish it but in the end, Blizzard essentially sold this game with a fraudulent marketing campaign and did not deliver content that was advertised. Combine this with anti-consumer practices when it comes to custom maps, this game is a hard no-buy.

    Didnt get the update it deserved and actually subtracts from the original. The character models are nice, but nearly everything else is just odd looking. Plus with the way blactivision has decided to handle custom maps I'm not expecting anything super cool to pop up like with the old warcraft 3. Cant even make any anime custom games due to their new policies.

    I seem to be missing a large selection of content that was promised and unable to find it... Lag spikes are terrible and tbh playing the original feels more enjoyable but now the multiplayer is empty... Thanks Blizzard for nothing.

    I played Warcraft 3 as a child, and though Reforged has appealing aesthetics, it disappoints in almost every other way. Blizzard launched Reforged rife with bugs and rendered classic WC3 - that I had already paid for separately - inaccessible. Campaigns regularly swap to instant defeat. The Beta worked better than the launch client.

    It’s insane as to why they would release the game in its current state. They removed support for the old game, which can no longer be played online. They didn’t deliver on any of the features they promised.

But I spent money for something that I thought it would be very different, and Blizzard showed up something very different at Blizzcon. The game is pretty the same, with minor changes.     Newer seen remaster that is so much worse than original, even base game seems broken now. Many bugs in unit movement, path finding, sound glitches, graphic glitches, constant crashes etc. Memories of great game of 2003 are completely overwritten by this abomination. Worst thing is claisc game also is gone. Blizzard is gone as good game developers.

    Bought this game in preorder since by logic you cannot break something what was already good by "reforging" it to better look. how wrong i was... first you had to move release of the game by one month. and then release that garbage.

    this game is too good to exist i know this game is full of cut content and horrible glitches but that enhances the experience! this game is up there with the likes of big rigs and bubsy 3d!!!!!!

    Blizzard, as a modder of custom maps, I want my ownership back. You can't just take away our rights like that as we, modders, have made creative and fun maps for almost 18 years.

    So... My childhood game it's basically over. I miss the nostalgia playing the older version. I don't know how but they managed to "reforge" the game in a way that I don't think I would buy this version... I'll remain a fan of the classic

Nostalgia ran through my veins as I watched the trailers and loved every second of new cinematics of which we would eventually get 4 hours total. The models, while certainly distant from the cartoony stile that characterizes warcraft i still thought that they looked amazing. New improved UI, new campaign maps, an improved engine... So many promises.... None of them delivered.... We basically paid 30 usd. (40 if you got the most expensive option) for some models that could have been added with a mod. This is false advertising, this is a scam and it shows the lack of respect that the thieves at blizzard feel for their customers. Well, this customer had enough and I don't want anything to do with blizzard anymore.… Expand

    At first Blizzard made many mistakes and they still promote the game with the old Trailer from 2018, but they always communicated that they will cut most of the promised Features, so i will not blame them for the most cut material.
    But they promised on the last blizzcon 2019 in the Q&A that they will at least reforged 8 maps, but we gained 3 and we only heard about it on release day.
    The commnunication in the official Forum was also near non existent.
    It was also promised that the beta will start at early 2019.
    So many lies in the last 2 years.

    Well but now to the game itself.
    Overall the graphics are solid but still lacks a lot of polish. The portraits for example looks weird. No emotions, lack of AA and to much lightning.
    The ground textures and trees were always complained and still not changed.
    Buildings and units overall are okay.

    Gameplay:
    Still like the classic Version. Nothing was changed which can be good or bad, depends on your likings.
    There are some bugs in the campaign which can be often solved by restart the game.

    Sound:
    I play the german version so iam mostly disappointed there aswell.
    Some VAs are good and some are bad. And with bad i mean very bad.
    For example Rexxar got 2 VAs in the bonus campaign. The one in the cutscenes is different from the one while you play the missions.

    There are lot of missing features like no online ladder which is a big deal for a game which is mostly played for competetive games.
    No costum campaigns, most costum maps doesnt even work anymore and are banned by Blizzard for weird reasons, but understandable to a degree (dota).

    I always wanted WC3 with actual graphics and a reforged story. I waited so long for this to happen and i enjoyed the blizzcon 2018 even with the Diablo controversy, but now its impossible for me to defend them anymore.

    Reforged was my last game from Blizzard.

    My precious memory back when I used Pentium 4, Geforce 4 Ti and 500 dollar 15 inch 1024x768 monitor is completely ruined thanks to this horse feces of a "remaster". It is ACTUALLY better playing original Warcraft 3, which you can't do since they are MERGED now. Stay away from this piece of crap at any cost. Blizzard is shadow of it's former self...

Blizzard was one of the best gaming companies that ever existed and seeing them delay this game not once but twice just for it to be released without the content they promised at blizzcon. Not only has blizzard achieved something that no other company has ever done by introducing the policy that gives them ownership of all content created in the custom community but they also have ruined the custom game/map community and it is sad to see blizzard in such a state. Dont buy this game because this will only send a positive message to blizzard rather than sending a message that will make them regret releasing an unfinished project, boycott this crap and refuse to buy future blizz products because they dont even respect their customers enough to give them refunds and are even banning users on the blizz forums trying to help others get refunds and refuse to comply with Australian consumer laws. **** man this game makes me feel sad and the current state of blizzard makes.me feel depressed, dont buy this product unless they introduce some major fixes.… Expand

    The game was released, late, without half the content promised. None of this was ever announced by blizz, they're trying to make it difficult to get a refund.... If I wanted to play warcraft 3, I would play my original copy, but I paid for the things advertised with reforged.

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.
