    Was going to buy this game and wanted to wait for reviews. Well...add Blizzard to the list of companies you cannot trust. They just told their fans months ago that they would try harder because they had a certain level of "quality"...blah blah blah. All lies. It's unfortunate how far this company has fallen. The soul of Blizzard is now gone. It's the same thing that effected Bungie. NotWas going to buy this game and wanted to wait for reviews. Well...add Blizzard to the list of companies you cannot trust. They just told their fans months ago that they would try harder because they had a certain level of "quality"...blah blah blah.     Blizzard has to understand that the only thing the company has is its name, and its name depends on the quality of their product and how they honor their promises. Warcraft III Reforged basically swindled the customers: we were promised one thing and they delivered even less than if they had done nothing. Seriously.

    The new graphics are beyond ugly. Nothing blends well together. Can't play custom maps. Campaign full of balance problems and bugs.

So it is true that The 'Real' Blizzard died a long time ago. i was holding onto false hope that there was still something left in this company. But now, I have to accept the reality of it.     [1] Gather your group of OVER-ACHIEVERS (THESE HIGHER BEING THAT ARE SITTING COMFORTABLY IN THE OFFICE WITH NO KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THE OTHER HALF OF THE INDUSTRY.)

    [2] Call the best pizza place in town and buy everyone pizza. (Cheap alternative, since you have to issue back those refunds and prepare for the lawsuit.)

    [3] Enjoy the pizza with everyone.

    [4] Check in with the customer support team to make sure they are processing all the refunds.

    [5] Call the corporate lawyer and tell him/her not to worry about the lawsuit.

    [6] Take your group of GODLY INTELLIGENT BEINGS and go to the highest floor in your building or any building within the area with more than ten floors.

    [7] Open one of the windows REALLY BIG AND WIDE.

    [8] Form a line at the window.

    [9] Close your eyes and take a deep breath. Let your mind be free of all these troubles.

    I created an account just to discuss how disappointing this game is. Not even going to bother asking for a refund after all the horror stories about bans and such. Old Blizzard and their amazing standards are dead. Long live the era of bait and switch and garbage content. At least with Bethesda and EA I know to expect this kind of crap.

    €40 for updated character models and nothing else ???? Absolute of a joke this game is, I sent out a refund after 15minutes of gameplay. Biggest lie and spit in the face of their fans, they should get sued for it !!!

    I really wanna like this. But the only good thing about it are the models and it is overshadowed by so many of the game's flaws. I am saddened about this since I have played Warcraft 3 ever since I was a small kid, seeing the game at this state is really disappointing. I do hope they fix it and add new stuff soon. It may be a bit foggy considering a lot of people are so mad towardsI really wanna like this. But the only good thing about it are the models and it is overshadowed by so many of the game's flaws.     The new textures and modeling are great. Some of the voice acting could be better. Some of the unit portrait art is a little flat. Issues on launch day is no surprise. I assume they will implement the ranked ladder when it is ready. Aside from some minor quibbles, I got everything I wanted and expected and don't understand the flame.

To make everything worse, if you buy/bought the game and it doesn't open or work (like it is happening), you won't be able to request a refund, because Blizzard is denying all refunds without any proper explanation.     Ya me había resignado a que solo iba a ser un remaster con texturas en HD en vez de un verdadero Remake, pero terminé pidiendo reembolso cuando vi que ni siquiera habían mejorado cosas básicas de la interfaz que eran necesarias desde la versión original como asignar hotkeys sin tener que editar un .txt como en el año 2003.     The UI is ok, but the game crashes so frequently on the campaign. Blizzard has straight up lied about the in game cutscenes, they've all mostly been turned into gameplay stills, which is hardly the same.

    There is a clear difference between the original and the remake. While the models are indeed better than they were, the rest of the game is horrid. They did away with the promises that they themselves said they would do. No expanded story, only a few redid cutscenes instead of all, framerate issues, an absolute horrible user agreement to any custom games you make.     I wanted to love this remake, but every upgrade promised was a lie. Not only is the new remake disappointing, but the perfect classic version was intentionally taken down so we are forced to play this new mess of a game or nothing at all.

    I created an account here only to give a bad rate to this game. It’s based on false advertisement (campaign rework and alignment to actual lore, cinematic rework, to give some examples of promised stuff which never happened). Don’t waste your money with it!

    They delivered a terrible product. I preordered this game and what they showed on their reveal in 2018. is a completely different game than the one we got in 2020. The cutscenes look way worse, the FPS is terrible and many other features were cut. Horrible game.

We can't trust that they won't monetize it to an extreme extent, and this is true about all future entries from the company we will see. They want to charge everyone full price for Overwatch 2, when at best it should have been dlc, and at worst looks more like a glorified update. Warcraft 3 was a defining game from my childhood. It cemented my love of Blizzard, the RTS genre, and is what made me love WoW. Blizzard used to be a company that loved and respected its fans, and unfortunately that company is likely beyond redemption now.… Expand

Warcraft bought my friends together and bonded us, we lived at net cafes reveling in your wonderful piece of art, that seemed endlessly re-mixable. Dota, or Footies, or Fight of heroes, lotr adventure or tower def. It was such a revolutionary experience it launched it's own genres, you so    You broke my heart Blizzard.

    This game oft defined my childhood, untold hours of wonderful times. Warcraft bought my friends together and bonded us, we lived at net cafes reveling in your wonderful piece of art, that seemed endlessly re-mixable. Dota, or Footies, or Fight of heroes, lotr adventure or tower def. It was such a revolutionary experience it launched it's own genres, you so inspired me with your craft that the map editor became my creative outlet, for years. You were the best, my idol, Warcraft defined every aspect of my taste in games.

    After all this time, you give us this? How can Warcraft ever return triumphant as it deserves with this launch? It wont, you shan't have my passion anymore, it's like an abusive relationship I swear, this time really is the last straw.

    No cumplieron con lo prometido, quitaron cosas que estaban bien, se adueñaron de los derechos de los creadores de mapas. Esecencialmente es un mod HD de warcraft 3 original, pero peor.
    Además si lo compras te obliga a actualizar la versión clásica de warcraft 3, dejándote sin esta.

    By refunding the delux edition, i lost the meatwagon mount, which is fine, i'm not expecting anything for free. But Blizzard, you lost more than that. You lost our respect. You can't buy that back for 40€.

    They delivered a terrible product. I preordered this game and what they showed on their reveal in 2018. is a completely different game than the one we got in 2020. The cutscenes look way worse, the FPS is terrible and many other features were cut.

    I really enjoyed the custom map scene. It makes a game live longer, and keeps things entertaining. Blizzard removed this important aspect, from Warcraft 3, in an attempt to force the new EULA which will destroy the existing community.

    20+ years playing Blizzard games... Started with the original Diablo and Starcraft, and loved every game Blizzard made unconditionally, until... Activision came... the signs were there, basic version of Starcraft2 made you pay for the game, but it would only give you six months of access, than you needed to pay more to keep playing; Diablo3, real money    Some History and context first:

    20+ years playing Blizzard games... Started with the original Diablo and Starcraft, and loved every game Blizzard made unconditionally, until... Activision came... the signs were there, basic version of Starcraft2 made you pay for the game, but it would only give you six months of access, than you needed to pay more to keep playing; Diablo3, real money auction house in game, even influencing in game drop rates... I knew something was wrong, but stubbornness and denial made me not abandon Blizzard right there and there, I had hope, hope it would get better, and better it got, for a time... Starcraft2 basic pack became permanent for buyers instead of the 6-month access only, Diablo3 auction house was removed, new games were released and were enjoyable (Hearthstone, HotS , Overwatch...), seemed Blizzard was correcting course, hope became happiness. But it didn't last... Not gonna enter in deeper details here, otherwise this will become a bigger wall of text than it already is, but I will say that I couldn't imagine this second phase of downfall would go so deep, happen so quick, and be so diverse. From game related like ending e-sports for HotS , to political/ideological attrition like with what happened to that Hearthstone player...

    Now, for the Warcraft 3 game itself:

    Reforged was launched buggy, with fewer features, and with a lot of censorship in game too. These are bad. But it gets even worse... They not only launched a newer version, they merged this new version with the old one, effectively killing the old, pristine polished version of the game. THEY! INSTEAD OF MAKING TWO SEPARATE VERSIONS! A NEW! AND AN OLD ONE! DECIDED INSTEAD TO MURDER THE OLD ONE AND FORCE THE NEW! THAT'S IS SO WRONG!

    Conclusion:

    This was the last drop I needed, I´m 100% done with Blizzard, don't buy this game, don't support this behavior. Accept that Blizzard is dead, it's just the name now, move on, and play other better games everyone.    … Expand

    wc3 tft was one of the best games ever. A timeless classic. a gem. then what does activision blizzard do? they destroy the original game and feed us with this uncomplete pre-alpha at best work. if they'd left the original game untouched, I would be fine with that. but no, they make the old game dissapear. I rate it 0 and it is well deserved. Believe it.

    I'm disappointed in the way this game was remade. I'm not a fan of the new graphics. The models are nice, but something just looks off. Also I was expecting some quality of life improvements to the UI and client in general. Add all the false promises on top of that, and it's not hard to see why people are not happy.

    When every aspect of your game except the graphics is inferior to a version almost 20 years older, to say it's "extremely disappointing" is an understatement.

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
