    Don't buy this. They only improve character model. Also Blizzard won't refund your money if you play it for a bit. They killed the classic Warcraft 3. Even if you don't buy this the old client is dead.

    I'm actually really disappointed. I pre-ordered the game trusting Blizzard on this because it should have been a walk in the park for them. Instead we got an buggy unfinished product which ultimately harmed Blizzard's reputation even more.

    The performance is completely unacceptable. There has been feature regression in almost every single aspect of the game. The advertising showed cinematics that simply aren't there. The alpha footage from a year ago looked better than the final release, even on maximum settings with a very powerful computer. You cannot release a game like this, it's absurd.

    Warcraft 3 had been my childhood. I remember playing the campaign more than 6 times over a period of 15 years. After the release of reforged, it feels like my childhood is gone. Ruined by a greedy corporation who gives zero to negative level of care to it's fanbase. No promised new in-game cinematics, no new user interface and the character model looks soulless.

    People have lost their minds. It looks awesome widescreen. Did people forget that this is not Warcraft IV? It looks and feels the way I remember it but updated enough to make me forget how bad it would look now. There is one menu that animates a bit slow but that's it. The cinematic parts look amazing widescreen. Did everyone forget this used to play in only a non-widescreen format? I amPeople have lost their minds. It looks awesome widescreen.     Disingenuous campaign with a game that shows lack of care for fans and a product that is not fit for purpose. Paid full price for spoils of war editition in 2018, refunded the purpose as to not encourage further similar behaviour. Heartbreaking.

    I loved Warcraft 3 and have since I was a kid, now they have tarnished this amazing game with all the issues. I am glad I no longer pre-order and its reasons like this.
    I am angry cause they have caused so many issues for the new and existing game.
    Sadly I don't think I will ever be buying this game and that really makes me sad.

    The original Warcraft 3 is what got me into Blizzard games. I played WoW for over 10 years and that is because Warcraft 3 sucked me in.

    This asset flip of a "remake" feels like a slap in the face. I got an hour in before I decided to bite the bullet and refund it.

    This is a terrible game. A huge number of bugs, FPS sags, the game crashes every 10 minutes. I will never buy games from Blizzard again. You are the worst company.

Todo lo que nos prometieron fue mentira, debieron decir que seria solo una optimización gráfica y no un rediseño desde 0, y eso que solo estoy hablando del apartado gráfico, porque si empezamos por lo desastroso y poco amigable que son los accesos, dios ! estamos en el 2020, no en el 2002!!     As a genuine fan of Blizzard Games, it is a sad day where I have to make a metacritic account just to voice my overgrowing frustration with a company, let alone a game I use to enjoy and love growing up. Many reviews said it better, broken and buggy and ultimately not what was promised. RIP Blizzard. We apparently hardly knew you.

    Compre el juego, y ya con todo el hype le di 15 mins de la campaña humana y al ver que no tenia las cinematicas que habian prometido,los buga con los arboles, y que ademas los modelos son como de goma y no como se mostro en la blizzcon 2018 e quedado totalmente desmotivado con este juego siendo el warcraft 3 original mi juego preferido de blizzard

    As a Blizzard game this is a 0 or 1. As a game compared to everyone else it's a 3. The game ran better on OpenGL years ago than it does now. If you have the old version and the blizzard app installed it will auto update your old working version to this pile. The cash grab is a shot to the very heart of what used to make Blizzard great.

    What really hurts is the latest requirement to give Activision-Blizzard complete copyright control of your own map designs. Kids break their teeth learning how to make games via map making, and they will like to add their map designs to their portfolio to show they designed it; or collaborated on the design. Blizzard knows this, but for about 10 years this is Blizzard's M.O. (since 2010 Blizzard wanted to copyright even player names -- yes, even Totalbiscuit's name, if he named a WoW character as such, would be a name Blizzard owns by just agreeing to play. It's in the EULA since Legion).

    If you complain -- on merit -- on these matters they'll ban you from all their forums, too. I can't post there after my disgust of Ritalin abuse in eSports back in 2012, but can at least up vote on what I agree with.

    More actual gamers -- not the "official" critics who make a living from reporting to increase the hype (notice how they're totally off what players believe?) -- hopefully these "too big to fail" AAA studios understand to deliver what you advertise, not more scams. The history of video gaming is littered with scams and half baked games being pushed out to make money. Warcraft III: Reforged (or now better known as Refunded) is an example of money is more important than hyping games to sell; abusing the pre-order players; and being totally ungrateful to the countless modders who give life to otherwise stale video games.

    Stop abusing your players Blizzard and clean up your act. You lost over 5,000,000 players after WotLK for horrid decisions afterwards. Lost even more trying to break into the Chinese gaming marketplace with Mists of Pandera. Now a double whammy of Battle of Azeroth AND Warcraft III: Reforged (Refunded).

    The blue badges need to start being fired (Blizzard doesn't fire them, and they stay too long to create negativity and that toxic culture among players).

    Warcraft III: Reforged (Refunded) deserves the current 0.5 rating, because players got a bad deal and terrible treatment by a game company that used to team with very brand loyal gamers. That was lost almost a decade ago, so until Activision-Blizzard changes top/down, expect this to continue. Avoid their games until then.    … Expand

    Warcraft III: Reorged is probably the biggest game I have ever played. This is a new version of the masterpiece that can improve the game forever. I have really improved a very memorable story. Amazing game for hundreds of hours. Great graphics to replace dirty graphics from 2003.

    I would also like to talk about the new map folder. The cartographer is not worth it. For this reason we    Warcraft III: Reorged is probably the biggest game I have ever played. This is a new version of the masterpiece that can improve the game forever. I have really improved a very memorable story. Amazing game for hundreds of hours. Great graphics to replace dirty graphics from 2003.

    I would also like to talk about the new map folder. The cartographer is not worth it. For this reason we use the global processor from Blizzard. This child also becomes soft before the wrong card is inserted. One last tip: Blizzard may have another DotA, so that companies like Valve and Gabe can spend Newell without losing.

    Thanks also to Blizzard, who has removed the old and outdated Warcraft III and has offered players the opportunity to take advantage of the new and updated advanced features. One of the many communication functions of Battle.net is expanding the community.

    I enjoyed playing this game instead of WoW Classic Cache Tie. You must start the old game without having a clear cash removal plan (as opposed to Rereforged).    … Expand

    Now, with 27, I saw the Reforged announcement, the promises of UI redesigned, campaign redesigned; I was ecstatic, and decided to pre-purchase it. OH BOY, to say I am disappointed is an understatement... Not only they didn't deliver all the good things they promised, but    I have been a Warcraft 3 player since I was 12, and to this day I have loved it, old graphics didn't matter.

Blizzard has recently and rightfully been ridiculed for their lack luster game design, horrible company PR, greedyIncredibly disappointed in Blizzard and the atrocious treatment of a once beautiful game. Blizzards incompetence has seeped and plagued its way into another Blizzard title, ruining and subverting good game design with lazy and uninspired “fixes” to problems that don’t exist. Blizzard has recently and rightfully been ridiculed for their lack luster game design, horrible company PR, greedy practices, and none existent customer communication. However this pathetic excuse for a game “remaster” is nothing more than a testament to how far a this company has fallen. Blizzard Entertainment is nothing more than a husk of a fragment of their former self. There are no words in the English language that can describe or measure my amount of disappointment in Blizzard or the level of stupidity and lack of clear foresight the company has. Blizzard is no longer the company you or me once knew, they are now nothing more than a fat calf suckling at the **** of greed, ignorance and failure. A pathetic excuse for a gaming company with a pathetic excuse of excuses for their countless and constant failures. Do not buy this game, do not buy any Blizzard product. Do yourself a favor and take the money and watch it burn because the few seconds of entertainment you will receive from watching something catch of fire is astronomically more entertainment than you will receive playing a Blizzard product.… Expand

    The game looked promising, but I could only play one prolog mission and then it kept kicking me out. I couldn't play any further. I like to remap my hotkeys, but there was no key remapping UI. The only keyboard remapping support was to "edit a text file" -- yes, the in-game UI actually told me to drop out and edit a text file if I wanted to remap hotkeys.     I wanted more. I wanted more to the campaign. To the graphics. To the way I can play the game. But mostly I wanted to play an old game that felt brand new. And an opportunity to delve into new things among the old. And they just threw it all away. And now I’m stuck with an old game that looks 10 %shinier. No. Not how this works.

Среду могли б и получше запилить - правда, но это не такой минус, чтоб прям 0 игре ставить. Фризы пофиксили, багов не попадалось во время игры в кампанию. Игра вышла сыренькой - тоже правда. Политику Близзард, обещания, поведение, "ложную рекламу" и прочие косвенности во внимание не беру при оценке самой игры. Сама игра вполне хороша. Зацепила достаточно, чтоб я с немалым желанием и интересом решил играть еще и в мультиплеер, хотя раньше никогда не возникало желания играть в мультиплеер RTS.    … Expand

    Remake es lo que han hecho desde capcom con resident evil 2. Despues de comprarlo y juguarlo doy fe que esto que han hecho con el warcraft 3 reforjed no llega ni a remaster del original. Para mi es un engaño a toda regla.

    If you can pull off graphics and better graphics and cutscenes like in starcraft, then you could have done justice with Warcraft 3 reforged, you all just released an unfinished game thinking the consumers are sheeps that's all, you got greedy and you guys thought less of the consumers.

    I am revising my rating from 0 to 1. As a remaster, only, it's just fine. The updated graphics are a nice feature and I guess having a couple reforged cutscenes is better than none at all.

    The rating remains low though due to the fact that the game costs too much for what we actually got. I would give it a 2, but reforged tainted W3 classic.

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
