    All my good memories are now buried into the ground, well done Blizzard. I had high hopes for this title and now I can't even wait for it to be fixed and play the old version in the meanwhile...

    Is this the way you honor Warcraft III? The game that got us hooked for hours and hours... you HAVE to fix this game.

    Campaign: The 3 added demo missions are only added to the reforged campaign, and not to the original. This means people without reforged can't play them and can't unlock the portraits for completing all 5. On Human05 (Hearthglen) Liches don't attack your base making the map significantly easier. On Human06 (Stratholme), it no longer rains and you can only be attacked from one side of yourCampaign: The 3 added demo missions are only added to the reforged campaign, and not to the original. This means people without reforged can't play them and can't unlock the portraits for completing all 5. On Human05 (Hearthglen) Liches don't attack your base making the map significantly easier. On Human06 (Stratholme), it no longer rains and you can only be attacked from one side of your base, making it less dreadful. Also on this mission, instead of getting 5 villagers, some houses spawn bosses that still count as 5 points towards the 100 score (that makes no sense). You can't play original campaign with reforged graphics, unless by custom games.

    Old bugs remain unfixed: Tyrande, Grom and the Keepers of the Grove still don't have their inventories in specific classic missions, this is fixed only in reforged campaign.

    Hero names and Voicelines: 'Grom' and 'Furion' are changed to 'Grommash' and 'Malfurion'. In classic Thrall/Tyrande still say 'Grom/Furion' but the subtitles say 'Grommash/Malfurion'. In reforged Thrall's voicelines are modified to replace 'Grom' with 'Hellscream', while in Tyrande's voice lines, the name 'Furion Stormrage' is removed entirely, leaving the Quest notification to actually tell the player the name of the druid Tyrande wants to save. They removed certain unit quotes like the Dryad's mating call joke probably because they found them too offensive.

    Missing Reforged Models: Malfurion now has 1 model (Stag Malfurion) instead of 3 (Furion, Stag Malfurion, No Stag Malfurion), so now Malfurion, when he awakens from the Den, he is already on the Stag. While Malfurion no longer has a dismounted model, Thrall now has for some reason. Another missing model is the Chaos Orc Marine, the Reforged model is replaced with a Terran Marine and is the same as the Marine model. Another missing model is the Male Death Knight hero. The hero uses the Arthas model, while the model itself, if used on a unit will show only as the classic graphics version. Male Demon Hunter shares model with Illidan. Mannaroth's Blood Fountain is now Green, though it's icon is still red. No reforged models for Catapults, Ballistas, Steam Tanks and Gyrocopters, only their TFT equivalents (though Tyrande still says Ballistas in the voice line). In the Reforged Beta their was a Steam Tank unit distinct from the Siege Engine, but it was removed.

    Death Sounds and shadows: New death sounds are pointless, are present even with reforged graphics. One unit may have multiple death sounds making it less obvious who died. No more shadows in classic.

    Unit changes in World Editor/Custom Games: Children were made invulnerable in the editor. This breaks some maps like Undead01, where invulnerable children will alert the guards. Because this is a change from the editor, all maps, including the classic campaign and custom games will have invulnerable children. Custom games don't show custom preview, but instead map terrain. Banshee Sylvanas is now a hero in reforged but still uses Banshee voice lines and is a custom hero, meaning you can't find it in the editor by default.

    Minor/Misc: There is a Night Elf Battleship on the Silvermoon map, and they didn't even change its name to be High Elf Battleship. The Kael icon in the Collection has grey hair because it's actually the melee Blood Mage's icon and not Kael's. They have a really cool High Elf Barracks model that fits the wow theme, but still used Human Barracks in the Blood Elf campaign. Medivh's clothes are grey and his crystal is blue, even though in Warcraft 3 Classic, in the Cinematics and in Heroes of the Storm they are brown and respectively red. Even though Reforged uses TFT balance, they didn't add any Spell Breakers to Silvermoon. Also Tyrande destroying bridge animation just is non-existent. You need to finish Scourge campaign if you want to play Rexxar Campaign. I think it should have been the Night Elf campaign (last of RoC Campaigns) that unlocks Rexxar campaign, at the same time as Sentinel Campaign.    … Expand

    This game is so pointless that it is hard to put a finger on it. It contains so many broken promises and missing features. Though the graphic is higher resolution it does not look better than original Warcraft III graphic and in many cases I believe it looks actually worse.     The game is acceptable out of old statures. The graphics are good and much better from before and the price-ing gives a promise of improving the game in the years to come. The new module of the game is made to comply with the old one that still exists and is awaited to be improved by its developers in the years to come.

    - Missing the new (and promised) UI / Cutscenes
    - Removed so many features from our lobbys
    - Removed the old client effectively ending my classic campaign playthough

    As a result of launching this 'Reforged' version of Warcraft 3, I can no longer use Warcraft 3 as it was sold to me and have worked for close to 2 decades - It is unjustifiable and a clear demonstration of the utter apathy Blizzard has for it's players.

    This was not as promised. Sadly i made a mistake of preordering this game.
    Game doesn’t even come close to what they promised on blizzcon 2018...
    No new UI.
    No new cutscenes.
    Lots of old features missing.

    Custom maps? The ones that gave us countless custom games and gamemodes, that gave birth to Dota and Heroes of the Storm are now OWNED entirely by blizzard without any possibility of claiming (not even moral) any type of credits for creating them. Way to go Blizz, slapping your fanbase for using your creation to expand and ensure the replayability of your own game.

    What a mess. I was looking forward to the reforged edition, played the original game for quite some time on battle.net, now there's not even a ranked, ladder multiplayer mode, no clans, and it's full of weird animations and everything looks clunky.

    I grew up with Blizzard, I lost a huge amount of hours invested in the lore created by this gaming Company... if I think about my childhood, Warcraft, World of Warcraft, Starcraft and Diablo comes to my mind, really amazing times.. To see this company lowering their standards so much, to deliver such faulty products.. it's heartbreaking! My only hope is that this will be a wake upI grew up with Blizzard, I lost a huge amount of hours invested in the lore created by this gaming Company... if I think about my childhood, Warcraft, World of Warcraft, Starcraft and Diablo comes to my mind, really amazing times..     Blizzard broke all their promises about this remaster - the cutscenes are bad, the UI is not improved, and there are too many bugs. The only promise they kept - improving the 3D models, was outsourced to another company.

    A lie and shame to the industry, Blizzard needs to shed the upper level management, but in reality, that ship has sailed and they will survive on their fanboys and loyalists. The studio that once existed is long gone, 2019-2020 will be known as the end of many long standing studios that use to be the standard bearers being sunk by business degrees and run by people who don't play games.

    I will gladly buy this game again, when it is finished and contains everything that was promised.
    Expectations raising with every mistake you make Blizzard! And patience is running low.

    I had to make an account just to leave a review. The game is an absolute hot mess.

    You can see on the first two campaigns that they started revamping a couple of maps but they gave up. All the other campaigns are untouched and everything is the same. In the Reign of chaos campaigns at least they gave heroes abilities new icons. In the Frozen Throne campaign, they did not even do that.    I had to make an account just to leave a review. The game is an absolute hot mess.

    You can see on the first two campaigns that they started revamping a couple of maps but they gave up. All the other campaigns are untouched and everything is the same. In the Reign of chaos campaigns at least they gave heroes abilities new icons. In the Frozen Throne campaign, they did not even do that.
    Not to mention a zillion other issues such as bad optimization, false advertisement, changed privacy. I agree with a comment that said I would have rather paid 30 large ones for Blizz NOT to release this garbage. Shame on you Blizz, you bunch of cowards.    … Expand

    The game is an example of a fail remmaster game. Played the original, now I played this abomination and I have one thing to say. Whatever with this chuncked unplayabe game called WCIII REFORGED, I can live with it, but what this fail to accomplish promisses game did to original is terrible. And for that sole reason this game for me is the worst game in the historyk of virtual play.

    What we were promissed:

    What we got:
    - old UI without a possibility to switch to new UI
    - brightened up cinematics
    - no new cutscenes (maybe they are new but definitely not what was shown on Blizzcon)
    - Blizzard now OFFICIALLY can take any map that you make in their map maker and turn it into their game. Also, now it's impossible to use models that belong to other IPs so we can safely say goodbye to maps like Naruto (which were very popular back in the day), Angel Arena and other cool maps
    - Clunky and strange animations
    - Models are not loaded at all sometimes
    - a game that is a buggy piece of code that can crash whenever it wants
    - cut down social interactions comparing to original WC3.
    - a release date pushed back to January 2020 even though it was promissed to be delivered before the end of 2019.

    Unfortunately, the corporate side has consumed Blizzard and we finally have to face it. I don't understand why we should let them feed us this **** and I strongly recommend for EVERYONE who agrees with me to make a refund. It has to be a wake up call for Blizz. Otherwise we're doomed to have a ****ty D4, OW2 and even worse WoW than we already have.

    P.S. If they fix their **** I will buy it again. For now the only viable option is REFUND.    … Expand

    And it's all so painful to see all your expectations crashed. You can't believe in this, not this way, not    You know, it's all about expectations.     Think people should stop complaining about some stupid cut scenes... great game, more or less same game as before but "reforged" with new graphics.
    Only "problem" for me and why i dont give it 10 is there are no way to use cheats in "single player" custom games.

    From a technical point of view, there's not much more I can add to what has already been voiced by others. From a personal perspective, however, I am truly disappointed by what you did here blizzard. At least separate reforged from the classic so ppl can enjoy a great game from your long-gone days of glory

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
