    La première chose que j'ai voulu faire sur ce jeu était de changer les options graphiques. J'ai fais mes modifications et j'ai voulu sauvegarder... Pas de bouton :)
    Il faut faire échap pour quitter la page et là on a un message du genre "Attention voulez-vous sauvegarder vos modifications".

    Je ne parlerais pas longtemps de la décision de localiser les noms propres, il fallait s'y attendre depuis que c'est le cas sur WoW mais ça fait toujours bizarre.

    L'interface est encore plus moche que le jeu classique, les fps bloqués.

    Point positif pour être honnête : la "campagne" d'introduction avec Thrall prend aussi en compte les missions avec les trolls près du Maëlstrom mais même là... En étant nouveau on se retrouve avec deux missions dans la deuxième où on apprend à faire une base sans rien avec 5 grunts et la mission d'après on a des bâtiments dans tous les sens, tours de défense, chevaucheurs de loups etc. sans que ce ne soit présenté au joueur. Normal, ces missions bonus à l'époque n'étaient pas destinées à être des missions de tutoriel

    Petit point bonus sur les bans de joueurs qui cherchaient à aider les gens à se faire rembourser...

    Ce jeu est une honte, Activision Blizzard n'est même plus l'ombre de ce qu'était Blizzard à l'époque.    … Expand

    Unfished product and misadvertised. Stop enabling blizzard. This is not worth ur money. Adds nothing to the game, and worse of all u cant even play the original anymore, so ur forced to play this unfinished product over a game with 15 years of patches.

Человек от данных заявлений и призентуемого синематиками пошёл и оформил предзаказ за 2499 деревянных, ведь это же Blizzard, качество… Подошло время к релизу, человек открывает почту и видит письмо о переносе игры на месяц, а если человека не устраивают эти события, то человек может вернуть деньги за игру. Он без раздумья закрывает письмо и удаляет с почты со словами: “Большому боссу позвалительно, ведь делает шедевр”. Наступает час “Х”, человек запускает данный продукт. Меню начинает лагать, в прямом смысле этого слова, как буд-то у меня пенёк 2 и я запускаю на нем кризис 2. Медленно реагируют кнопки меню на курсор. Бог с ним, доработают думал человек. Запустил кампанию и ужаснулся от долгой загрузки игры, ну думал он, видать заоблачная графика, все погружается, белочки, зайчики, хомячки, оленята. А Оленем оказался человек который купился на обещания Blizzard. По сути почти ничего не поменялось. Новая рамка которая была на близконе нет, улучшенные текстуры только на 60%, а кто остальное то будет дорабатывать, ретекстур персонажей, зданий, немного травки, грунта и деревьев? И это все? Вы это серьёзно? Ладно, подумал человек, наверное в синематики вложились. А их попросту нет, как и нет новых квестов с раскрытием персонажей, как и нет всех переработаных видеороликов, ровно 2 новых и остальные просто подтянуты до 4к… На этом горе человека не закончилось ведь теперь время заоблочного ФПС в игре с видеокартой rtx 2080. И плюсом убитый, баганный мультиплеер поражений, и вечных загрузок без таблицы рейтинга. Очень мило Blizzard, очень мило.
    Человек залез на просторы интернета, узнать что случилось. А оказывается у них была закрытая сессия с журналистами, которым они сказали, что мы не стали перековывать из за просьб олдфагов. Тут я почувствовал самый смачный плевок в меня, в человека, который предзаказал новый продукт, а не ремейк с текстурами, про нерабочую кнопку переключения графики, в любой момент, я вообще молчу.Если вы печетесь о олдфагах, то натяните им текстуры на старую игру. И больше ничего не делайте, а я ждал перековку. Я предзаказал перековку, но я не получил перековку. В свете этих событий я ставлю заслуженный “0”, на метакритике за то что ждал и не получил, я бы поставил меньше, но увы нельзя. Человек вернул деньги за предзаказ без сожаления. И больше не предзакажет ни один продукт от Blizzard.    … Expand

    I was just as excited as everyone else was when this game was announced. I never received a beta invitation but from the videos I've seen online, I was shocked. How could they do such a poor job with remastering the unit models? Some models look outright completely different (the paladin and mountain king) or just look like stereotypical and generic (the mountain king looks like a crossI was just as excited as everyone else was when this game was announced. The naga sea witch (a serpentine race that used to be elves) has normal human ears for crying out loud. This new, avarice filled company definitely outsourced one of their most anticipated and beloved games to people who know nothing about the history of it and now they're paying the price. You want to rush and deliver a sub-par game just to make money? Well too bad because a huge majority of the people who purchased it are refunding it now. Oh and said avarice filled company is STILL advertising to this day (04-Feb-20) 4+ hours of reforged cutscenes (after issuing a statement saying that they weren't going to uphold their previous Blizzcon statement saying that cutscenes would be remastered). The matchmaking is terrible (3/4 of the time that you hear the game found sound, the screen just sits there until you forcibly remove yourself from the queue), again units look blocky and some look nothing like the original, and little things in the UI are still not fixed (under the heroes tab after a game is finished, every player's heroes are shifted slightly upward and not aligned with the proper player, it's as if no one from the development team even bothered to click on the tab and adjust the settings). Despite being released in 2020, the game responds even slower than its 2003 (The Frozen Throne) predecessor. Lastly the models have insanely strange hit boxes AND they completely removed the capabilities of playing the classic version of Warcraft 3 (as far as I know).
    I'm not one of the people who have refunded the game despite everything I've said above; this is due to a combination of the nostalgia factor and the current multiplayer gaming drought (of games that I like) being that intense. A few of my friends have asked me if the game is worth buying and I've told them to buy it to try to enjoy playing with friends, not for any other reason (desire for new models, the campaign which makes me automatically lose every other mission right after the loading screen, or anything else I've mentioned above). I'm extremely disheartened and hope that some of the issues I've mentioned above will be addressed at some point in future patches (particularly the generic looking models). Also there's no way to keep track of your record in Versus mode which is ridiculous.    … Expand

    From performance issues to taking the rights over fan made content, to the private games not working on launch yet killing the online client for the old warcraft 3. Not to mention cutscenes presented at Blizzcon that pretty much sold the game for me but in the end didn't even make it    i made a metacritic account for this.     From performance issues to taking the rights over fan made content, to the private games not working on launch yet killing the online client for the old warcraft 3. Not to mention cutscenes presented at Blizzcon that pretty much sold the game for me but in the end didn't even make it into the game. On top of this, the whole game looks like a reskin, there's no reforging here, there's a copy pasting of new sprites, except the environment, that still looks horrible.

    We are told that some promised features were dropped because they wouldn't fit the tone of the classic WC3. That the nostalgic feeling should be preserved. I am certain that Blizzard knows this is **** Instead of at least speaking the truth and telling people: 'Hey, we **** up and we know it.' they try to cover up their flaws with terrible reasoning.

    WC3 reforged was obviously not finished and needed a lot more time to be fully developed. I remember a Blizzard that would tell their community that they need more time. Something that each and every member of the community would understand and be glad about. We don't need a rushed but completely flawed product. We are willing to wait as long as it takes to have another legendary game.

    The only game I bought prerelease until 2018 was PUBG because most of my friends played it. I never was and never will be a fan of buying games prerelease. In my experience, the games turn out to be terrible. Apparently, since the companie already made money with the game it won't release a good game.

    When WC3 reforged came to battle.net it became the second game I ever bought in advance. To me, Blizzard was the only developer left that I could trust in. That I could trust to release a flawless game. A game that is always worth the money.

    Blizzard would always be a little pricey. Games such as World of Warcraft would be comparably more expensive than other titles but we as a community were always willing to pay. Simply because we knew it will absolutely be worth it. With WC3 reforged Blizzard joined the developers' money club with companies like EA. Releasing a title and selling it as a brand instead of creating a truely amazing game.

    There are only two ways to go from here. Blizzard will either have to completely fix the broken WC3 and release at least most of the promised features or Blizzard will join the club of developers that I will never buy from again.

    in the past years, Blizzard made many at best questionable decisions. After WC3 my faith in Blizzard as a developer was broken and I encourage anybody reading this to do the same. Riot Games for example just brought their new card game Legends of Runeterra to open beta. Feel free to spend time there instead.    … Expand

    Also blizzard downgrade warcraft III classic, now there is no ranked matches... Blizzard died to me, this is not a game, this is a $30 fraud.

    Playing WC3 for years, get super excited about Reforged. Buy it, dont like the new graphics, get it refunded. No big deal.

    Log in with Classic for a few games: Cut features, bugs, crashes and disconnects at every corner.

    Ahora nunca mas voy a precomprar un juego de Blizzard, voy a tener que esperar una semana para que esté con rating y asegurarme... cosa que no hacía antes, donde Blizzard era una empresa de calidad y todos sus juegos eran de excelencia. Es una pena lo que está pasando, desde Diablo3, Diablo mobile, WoW:WoD, WoW:Bfa... ahora no se que esperar, muy decepcionado.

    Not only did Blizzard under-deliver on their promises from Blizzcon, they also released this game in a clearly not finished state, downgraded the old version of the game with their new and "improved" UI and basically ruined the custom game modes and maps. And on top of all this BS they have the nerve to try to swindle unhappy customers out of their refunds. Absolute Disgrace!

    In my opinion a lot has improved from the original game but the lack of clarity and the downgrade from what we have seen at blizzcon will make me put 5/10. Still this game isnt trash, the 0.5 rating is more for the meme because the story is still flawless

    I never actually had a Metacritic account before this. But after being a long time Blizzard customer and seeing the way they handled release, customer feedback and all the lies regarding this game I had to make one just to participate in the review bomb. F**k ActiBlizz.

False promises, false marketing (which is still being presented as real in their official website to this day), denying legal refunds, banning helpful forum members, pathetic excuses/apologies, the list goes on.
    Rest assured Blizzard will have legal issues for years to come, me and many others will make sure of this.

    Thankfully this community gives me renewed hope that we can unite and destroy these pathetic companies and bring them to the ground for treating their loyal fans and people who have supported them for years as trash.

    Whatever you do Blizzard, we all know this will never go away. All of your products are now garbage, you are beneath companies like EA, Bethesda, Bioware, and other failures of the gaming scene.     Nothing works properly. Most of the promised features are not implemented. I am not even able to progress the story because of a bug.
    Now blizzard is refusing to refund my purchase...
    Don’t fall for the same trap that I did. Don’t give them money for this.

    Slow performance

    No redone cut-scenes, no improved UI, no adjusted plot to current lore state. Not Reforged, just redrawn, re-voiced. Overall this one seems like piece of false advertisement from Blizzcon 2018.
    Classic Warcraft 3 client is gone, new one seems better but some functionality like clans is lost.
    I doubt Blizzard fix this failure, but hope a bit though.

    I'm very disappointed with this game. The misleading way the cut scenes were presented at Blizzcon 2018, the leaderboards are gone & the greedy EULA about the custom maps. I'm never going to buy another blizzard slab of hot garbage ever again

    I loved this amazing series back in the day this game truly was epic great gameplay graphics lore story the works

    * Video quality must be bumped down to 2003 levels to play
    * Nothing really new (just rescaled original game). No new characters, heros, spells, etc.

    I gave the game a 0 rating like the others, but only because I could not get it running at all. Now I played it and it actually runs smooth. It is not that bad at all. So, Blizzard, you did bad, but not as bad as the rating shows.

    Summ all facts and we will get broken version of Warcraft 3 The Frozen Throne. Yes, just a Warcraft 3 with less features.
    This product is not 2020 quality, not worth the price, maximum price is 5$ for clueless (in my opinion) re-skin.
    Warcraft 3 Reforged more looks like an Early Alpha test with Release mark. This is not acceptable for multimillion company.
    Boycott for blizzard, this is just a spit into the players.

    My vote is 2/10, 2 points because they will fix some of bugs and add features in future.    … Expand

    Buggy mess! Maps are changed and no they are not better. Maps lack the features that the old game had, menu is a mess and somehow the resolution is worse in the menu. Cut scenes, custom game , crashes in short disgrace to the old game...!

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
