Terrible decision making on exploration made up of mostly loading screens between transitions from planets to space and different regions of space.

Bethesda continue to pursue their own engine in favour of significantly more advanced game engines that next gen games are being developed on.

Graphics animations should not be prioritised over gameplay, gameplay is by far the most important quality in any game. But, the gameplay in starfield is slow, the combat is subpar compared to most modern FPS games, and the story line is lacking any depth or intrigue.

Add to this the anti-competitive Xbox exclusiveness that Todd Howard tried to excuse by saying it allowed them to be hyper focused on a single platform. Which in reality is complete rubbish, this wasn't a game design choice, this was purely an anti-competitive commercial choice by Xbox executives that wanted to try and increase their market share.

Starfield is one of the biggest scams on the XBox, what they've been doing these last 8 years, due to the garbage that was delivered is the question. I believe Microsoft could have Bethesda audited to see where their investment went.

This game turned out to be a huge disappointment, its a mediocre Bethesda game and a downright awful space game.

For starters the space is fake, theres no exploration. Ships are purposefully designed to be slow as molases (despite having tech for warp engine across galaxies) so you dont stray far from the planets atmosphere (which btw is a fake png too) unless you hit throttle for literally hours on end

How convenient huh? That space ships with warp technology across technology, moves so slow it cant move around solar system at reasonable speeds

I say convenient because this is a intentional cap to mask and hide the fake space, theres no space its just a map with quick travel loading screens. The planets are just segmented levels which you quick travel to

tl,dr If you're looking for a space game, avoid this game its terrible, a waste of money and time

"Starfield vs. No Man's Sky: A Galactic Fiasco"

When it comes to space exploration games, the bar was set pretty low with the infamous launch of No Man's Sky. However, Starfield somehow manages to plummet even further into the abyss of disappointment. Comparing Starfield to No Man's Sky is like trying to decide which spaceship has more holes in it – they're both disastrous in their own right. Here's how Starfield manages to outdo No Man's Sky in the realm of galactic failure:

Graphics Downgrade: While No Man's Sky was criticized for its initial graphical promises, Starfield manages to pull off a downgrade of epic proportions. The visuals are shockingly outdated, with textures that make No Man's Sky's planets look like a work of art. Even with its rocky start, No Man's Sky eventually improved its graphics, whereas Starfield takes a step backward.

Content Void: No Man's Sky was initially lambasted for its lack of content, but over the years, Hello Games worked tirelessly to add substantial updates and features. In contrast, Starfield launches with an embarrassingly limited amount of content. It feels like an empty void, with little to see, do, or explore. No Man's Sky may have started as a barren landscape, but it evolved; Starfield, on the other hand, feels stagnant.

Glitch-Infested Space: Both games have their share of bugs, but Starfield takes it to a whole new level. It's as if Bethesda saw No Man's Sky's launch issues and decided to double down. From game-breaking crashes to hilarious physics mishaps, Starfield is a veritable smorgasbord of glitches.

Stale Gameplay: No Man's Sky faced criticism for repetitive gameplay, but Starfield somehow manages to make it even more boring. The endless scanning, resource gathering, and menial tasks feel like a punishment rather than gameplay. No Man's Sky may have had a rocky start, but it's since added depth and variety to its gameplay.

Lack of Innovation: No Man's Sky at least attempted to innovate the space exploration genre with its procedurally generated universe and ambitious concepts. Starfield, on the other hand, feels like a carbon copy of old space games with little to distinguish itself from its predecessors.

Microtransactions and DLC: No Man's Sky eventually introduced free updates that significantly improved the game, earning back some goodwill. Starfield, however, opts for the path of microtransactions and paid DLC, further frustrating players who expected a complete experience from the start.

In summary, Starfield's launch is a disheartening reminder of how a game can fail to learn from the mistakes of its predecessors. It manages to underperform in every aspect when compared to the comeback story of No Man's Sky. Bethesda's attempt at entering the space exploration genre feels uninspired, unfinished, and a disservice to gamers who were hoping for something truly stellar. Save your interstellar adventures for No Man's Sky – it's the lesser of two galactic disappointments.

Swirled together in a toilet to water down every element that made those games special. They did add some game-breaking new {{features}} err, bugs along with pages on pages of unfilterable menus to wade through compressed in a UI that looks like an Alpha build mock up. Anything another game can do in 2 clicks, this one will make you page through to do nearly everything - travel, manage inventory, assign crew, etc. This is not a game that can be redeemed with mods - there are fundamental flaws in game design, balance, performance and QA testing that make this a burden to play.

They also managed to make a far worse ending than Mass Effect 3, taking away all player choice and agency. A boring, anti-climatic denouement that feels meaningless and devoid of meaning or substance.

The worst Bethesda game since Redguard.

This is probably one of Bethesda's poorest outings to date, if we ignore FO76. What we have here is Fallout 4, a disappointing sequel to a beloved franchise, thrown into an incredibly shallow space setting.

Most quests are simply walking back and forth between a few people, constantly waiting for doors to open and/or simply fast travelling everywhere. This has been their format since Oblivion, and their lazy design in this regard necessitates the fast travel mechanic. Which is why it is arguably more prominent here than in any other game. Bethesda haven't learned how to make better quests, they have just made much more of them and allowed other mechanics to smooth over the poor designs. Sometimes you'll find that fast travel to a location is locked off for some reason, but if you choose to use the mission listing to plot the route there, it has no problem allowing you to travel there. It all feels very lazy and ill-thought out and makes the notion of exploration laughable.

Combat perks are once again just damage buffs 90% of the time, with very few actually relating to any sort of "skill" advancement. This has been a thorn in the side of BGS games since Skyrim and it doesn't feel any better here. Though at least there are some other options here and there to pick from. There isn't really much to ship combat either. If you have played any space exploration game in the last 20 years, it will all seem very familiar and arguably dated. I'm not really sure why it's causing such a stir.

All in all, there is a lot of pointless and unrewarding things to do in this game. If you like doing lots of pointless unrewarding things in a terribly buggy and poorly executed game, you will truly love this. There is a lot of talk about "Game of a Generation", and I think it comes from those that don't understand just how shallow and poorly implemented all of this is. There is nothing special here, just a LOT of half baked content.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. When Starfield was announced, I was stoked, ready to strap on my space boots and blast off! But rather than a cosmic carnival, I found myself on a not-so-merry-go-round of repetitive tasks sprinkled with cringe woke American nonsense.

TL;DR: Starfield promised an intergalactic adventure but delivered a mixed bag of repetitive quests, a clunky UI, and space combat woes. While there are some standout moments and impressive voice acting, the game's immersion is frequently broken by bugs, unbalanced combat, and heavy-handed political overtones. In space, everyone might hear you scream... but mostly at the bugs and UI.

    1. Main Questline Missteps: There are some redeemable questlines sprinkled throughout the game, but the main questline is painfully underwhelming. It's primarily reduced to fetch quests. The pattern of collecting artifacts followed by traveling to barren planets to solve the same repetitive temple "puzzle" becomes stale very quickly. Moreover, the powers introduced come off as a thinly-veiled imitation of Skyrim's shouts.

    2. The UI Dilemma: Navigating through the UI feels like a chore more than a streamlined experience. Imagine trying to read an alien language while being tickled – that’s how navigating the UI feels. Its clunky design, particularly evident on PC, and a puzzling decision to cap it at 30 fps mars the experience further.

    3. Combat Curveballs: The game can't seem to decide if it wants its enemies to be invincible titans or fragile glass cannons. On ground combat, switching to "very hard" mode becomes a necessity unless you want your foes to drop like flies with a mere pistol shot. However, space combat is the polar opposite – my ship faced annihilation within mere moments of fast-traveling to a new star system, forcing me to opt for "very easy" mode. The balance is, well, unbalanced.

    4. Ship-Building Woes: Designing my ship felt less like NASA and more like assembling IKEA furniture with missing instructions. Crafting the perfect ship turned out to be less of an exciting endeavor and more of a test of patience. With the erratic camera and inexplicable limitations on ship parts, it's an ordeal.

    5. Base-Building Bungles: If you thought ship-building was challenging, wait until you delve into base-building. Rotation issues, unintuitive snapping functions, and the overt emphasis on grind make it a tedious feature.

    6. Planetary Déjà Vu: The planets gave me serious No Man's Sky flashbacks, and not the good post-update kind. I’ve seen more variety in a box of crayons. The monotonous terrains and the occasional copy-paste aliens took away from the thrill of discovery.

    7. Lost Underwater Opportunities: There's no underwater exploration. Why not? They've done it in Skyrim and Fallout. Feels like a significant oversight.

    8. NPCs – Unsettlingly Hilarious: Kudos on the voice acting, but the NPC animations? Imagine chatting with someone who just chugged ten espressos. Bethesda's decision to bypass motion capture in favor of software was a bad choice when compared to the stellar motion capture in Baldur’s Gate 3.

    9. Map Mayhem: I've probably spent hours wandering around, trying to remember where everything is. There's no map for cities, and the galaxy map isn't intuitive as you'll need to memorize it all. Who needs a GPS in space, right?

    10. Fragmented Immersion: The game's dependence on loading screens and isolated zones breaks the immersion consistently, a letdown for players seeking a seamless space or open world experience.

    11. Interstellar Insects: While Starfield isn't the bug-infested apocalypse that Fallout 76 was, it's not bug-free either. NPCs launching skyward to merge with ceilings is oddly a regular phenomenon. And while many glitches are solvable with a game restart, some are not. An instance had me stumped when a quest wouldn't trigger its next stage. The fix? Console commands, which are PC exclusive and deactivate those sweet achievements. A tough choice for a gamer to make!

    12. Woke Overkill: The game's heavy-handed approach to pushing its political agenda is not just unwelcome but is also immersion-breaking. Starfield's narrative sometimes feels like being cornered at a space party by someone who REALLY wants to discuss their political views. Beam me out, Scotty!

The game feels 10 years old with decent graphics. Most characters are ugly as ass though. The "Space" part is only superficial : you don't take off, you don't flight where you want. It's more like a mini-game next to the usual formula. The story is pretty underwhelming. Don't expect anything as epic as in Skyrim

    Lame.

There is a big "political" controversy with the game but it feels a bit exaggerated.
I don't mind the pronoun choice and the body type 1 & 2 in the character creation as I've not been bothered with it after that point.

Such as the AI lacking the I, the character models being super ugly, reminding of Oblivion, the game being a chain of loading screens as the universe is not actually open, it's just a huge amount of cells, each with their own loading screen.

But above all, the game is just...BORING! It's not Skyrim in space, it's Fallout 4 in space, except that unlike Fallout 4, it doesn't even have a popular franchise to stand on.

Wokeness is always ignored by the players if the game is good. Hell, Baldur's Gate 3 is pretty woke and no one cares because the game is so damn good. But Starfield is not a good game, it's a mediocre game at best, so of course the wokeness sticks out like a sore thumb.

It's...a game. It's nothing memorable nor interesting, it's a soulless corporate product made to squeeze money out of the sheep.
And if anyone thinks it's a contender for the GOTY award, then they're just pathologically delusional.

Promised by Todd Howard, a tale too grand to fail.
At first, character creation caught everyone's eye.
But further into the star field, the skies seemed awry.

Performance, such a riddle, CPU hot GPU cold,
Graphics left me puzzled, not the story we were sold.
Loading screens odd, with times way too grand,
On my speedy SSD?? Only Todd may understand.

In space, the icons jittered, like a dance out of time,
Menus were a jigsaw, navigation almost a crime.
    Radiant conversations, companions wouldn’t stall,
Speaking over quests, could barely comprehend it all.

    Hostile environments, vast and immense,
Yet, we tread on foot, which makes no sense.
A flashlight’s meek glimmer, in the cosmos so vast,
Why land so far away? Oh boy! CO2 is such a blast!
The dialogue, repetitive, persuasion quite absurd,
When exiting conversations, just the same old words.

Power allocations, mostly, seemed like a jest,
And the combat AI? Really not the best.
Unresponsive interface, it made quite the mess,
Targeting wrong ships, causing players distress.

Yet amidst these flaws, some grace there still stood,
The item models, and the art, were genuinely good.
But we'll keep on dreaming, of a space game that's tight,
Where quests are accepted, not dumped on you outright.

Oh, Todd, dear Todd, you promised us the moon,
But what you've delivered, is just a little cartoon.
For now, I will stick to the stars in the sky,
And hope for better luck with your next try.

Well well well, let me guess, you came to read reviews of Starfield, You've come to the right place traveller. I've been playing this game for a while, I'm a fan of Bethesda titles (The good ones), and I'm here to give you the goods.

    Let's begin:

    Negatives:
    - This game makes you hate Fast Travel, The procedural generation comes with limitations, there are no real-time procedural elements like lesser games such as No Man's Sky.

    - The performance is all over the place, sometimes it's 60fps, sometimes it's 24fps(No joke), and sometimes it's 45fps, it depends on how much is being rendered and what elements bottleneck your CPU and GPU.

    I'm running a PC with:
    AMD RYZEN 5 3600 6c 12t
    32GB DDR4 RAM @ 3200mhz
    MSI NVIDIA RTX 3060 12G
    Muskin Vortex SSD 7GB read/ 5GB write

and at 1080p it cannot maintain a Constant 60fps just like Fort Solis, I called it.

    - This game lacks character introductions, it's all a massive character dump or nothing, let's take Sarah for example, if I were to think about who she is, I wouldn't be able to tell you. The characters and storylines are just pushed onto you. The game says "OK stop what you're doing, get on the ship and go here".

    - Most planets are desolate and lack a certain type of detail compared to No Man's Sky.

    - There is a lack of features, including graphical settings, an explanation of those settings, No map for civilizations, no Map integrated into gameplay, no FOV slider, and No Display settings, it is this convoluted mess of menus and things that are uneasy or completely useless to achieve the thing that you want.

e.g fast Travel, you will have to delve into two menus and endure 2 loading screens.

    - All of this takes too long for FAST TRAVEL, who designed this?!

    - You can travel to and from planets but there are no mechanics that make that easy, it will take you hours, if not days.
No Man's Sky, an Indi-developed game has more mechanics and fun ship features than this game. The "Grav Drive" in this game is a glorified loading screen.

    - This game is overly expensive considering the quality.

    - The animations and gameplay are Janky for 2023 standards.

    - There are a bit of woke touches in here(I'm not bothered about that too much, I just care about the game.)

    - You can't see your character when choosing Dialogue, I don't care if it's a "Bethesda" title, make your game have a good presentation like I don't know... Baldurs Gate 3.

    - The UI is boring, the UI is sh*t to use, and yes this includes the start screen. People were complaining about this and they have every right to. Of course, a Start screen doesn't speak for the game, but it can raise red flags in consumer confidence about a product, that's just reality.

Don't give me the excuse of, "Oh but you're only going to see it for like 3 seconds", when a mechanic is focused on opening a menu every few minutes, the UI, all of it better look amazing.
I would do that in my game, Why shouldn't Bethesda, a AAA Studio, backed by the Trillion Dollar Company Microsoft?
Stop making excuses and expect better, otherwise, you are asking to be screwed.

    - When I saw the Start screen, I knew that something about Starfield was off, I wanted this game to be the pinnacle of Bethesda RPGs, but let me tell you this is no better than Fallout 4, play that game instead.
This is Fallout in Space just without any of the fun mechanics like Power Armour, Pip boys, Interesting characters and Story, all of it is just so bare minimum, with a hint of ...Something.

    - No vehicles, No planetary Flight.

    - Misuse of Invisible Walls
    - Maybe things weigh too much. Positives: - Nice lighting. - Nice Music. - Nice Gun Play. - New Game Plus - Nice excessive Detail to things. - Good Procedural animation and sometimes voice acting. It took 8 years to develop, we could have had 2 great Bethesda games if management wasn't like this. Now for what it's worth, I do see the passion and dedication, but that's nothing if there isn't substance. Bethesda has me Scared about TES VI. Just remember, instead of trying to make a big game, try and make a Quality game. This is a 6/10 game, and my initial prediction was more forgiving. This game is slightly entertaining and that's it, There are good moments but god you have to grind. *A Message to Phil Spencer, You are wrong. Making great games would do wonders XBOX, and future titles to come, Starfield has shown me that Bethesda is nowhere near ready to Deal with TES VI. DO NOT buy this game, Please listen to me, Let me save you once more. Wait until Bethesda releases all DLC and when modders have fixed the rest of the game, then Buy it. So when they do their "GOTY Edition", get it for about $50 or less. Right now, Don't even look at this game, I'm not going to until it's oversaturated with fun content, and the game is more tolerable. That's my review, I'm gonna start playing my Second Playthrough of BG3 now...

Everything feels like Fallout 4, reskinned. The only thing that would have made this game really innovative was the spaceship journeys and they weren't able to provide it, instead everything is a "fast travel, click to go there" experience.

Lore is non existent in the outer worlds, when you clean an enemy outpost in other games there's always the story of how they ended up there, here it's just clean->loot and that's it. Creatures are not interesting at all. All the super complex mechanisms to research, craft, mod etc it's an overkill and useless at the end.

But the truth is, the only way I could sum up my experience with Starfield is: BORING. Playing it feels like a chore for me, I can't wait to stop. I found myself creating the most creative excuses to avoid playing this game.
If I could, I would return this game 10/10.

P.S. FORGOT TO SAY: It's unplayable without NVIDIA Filters tool. Everything looks so green and gamma is so offset that it makes you wonder what's wrong with their developers monitors. You have to tweak your own filters in order to make this game look normal. Is this normal for a 2023 AAA game?

However, it turned out to be a scam, one that cost $800 million to develop. The backward engine, the unfree universe, the extremely high computer hardware requirements, the optimization as bad as **** the crazy loading-dialogue-entering-loading-taking off-loading-entering the planet-loading. Okay, I admit defeat.
The only advantage is the main storyline and rich branch lines, and the others have no advantages at all.
Sorry, I will never pre-order Bethesda games in the future, unless Bethesda learns from its predecessor Obsidian Studios someday.

On top of all of the above, they asked for £86 for the premium and £60 for the standard.

Bethesda is synonymous with the expectation of a buggy release that is generally fixed by the community and they have fully leaned into it. Pathetic, if they didn't have gamepass they would probably be a dead company.

-8 stars for forced pronouns. Yes, the (forced) pronouns thing is a big deal, here's why.

Do lies or truth help people? It is my belief that pronouns are severely damaging mental health. Why? I believe pronouns are being pushed to help further a personal belief that biological men can be women and vice versa. And who cares? Well, in all respect, you're asking the wrong question. We should be asking "Do lies or truth help people?" Clearly the truth is best for us. And the truth is, it is biology, NOT us, or our feelings, that assigns chromosomes before we are born that determine male or female. (Yes, I get that there are exceptions, like with intersex born people, but the exceptions are just that - exceptions. And they are exceedingly rare. And sure, leave the pronoun choice in for them, that's okay. But forcing everyone else to choose is the problem). There is no amount of technology or feelings that can change chromosomal makeup. So therefore, men can never become women and women can never become men.

Using pronouns helps to perpetuate a lie, which in the long run hurts people significantly. Pronouns, for thousands and thousands of years, have correlated with biology. Males are 'he' and females are 'she', etc. If I create a male character, the pronouns are understood to be used throughout the game accordingly as 'he'. There is zero reason to require that I pick pronouns because it's unnecessary. Now, as previously explained, go ahead and leave the option to choose pronouns in the game. BUT there should be a choice for those of us who do not want to help validate lies to everyone else, who is not legitimately intersexed.

What should that choice be? There should be an option to simply leave that pronoun field blank and populate the game with the appropriate pronouns correlated to the character created as male or female.

It's my opinion, that if you do not agree that biology and chromosomes determine male/female, please understand that it is you, not me, who believes lies and is denying truth - which is a very uncaring, unloving, hurtful, and a confusing act, that will complicate other's mental health.

I believe history will one day look back and condemn the millions of people who would rather be part of a movement and feel a sense of social belonging, more than protecting biologically provable truth and the mental health of others. Two thumbs down Bethesda. For what it's worth, I will never be purchasing another game from you until I've ensured you are protecting the mental health of all of us.

One look at how this game is posting a 'Very Positive' rating from over 25k people on Steam shows how most of the reviews here are not valid. I presume those who don't have the game to play have lots of time to spend coming up with bogus accounts to post nonsense online. I came here to give it a 9, but instead, i'll bump it to a 10 for a bit more compensation for those unscrupulous reviews.

Sadly, this game is - at best - a mediocre looter/shooter. It isn't an RPG nor is a space adventure. I'm honestly surprised at the 10/10 or 100/100 reviews - methinks they're not being honest.

In the same vein, Fallout went from having robust rpg systems and learning curve, through F3 which changed the formula to fallout 4 which was stripped of most of its rpg elements and turned into a shooter with vats, still it was worth exploring cause the world was hand crafted and there was **** to discover.
That leads us to Midfield, with which Bethesda completely abandoned any pretense of trying. Either they dont care anymore or they simply dont have the people who brought quality to their games. Nothing that made Bethesda games good or enjoyable is here. Exploration is a waste of time, most planets are straight up empty and added only to increase size of the shallow puddle. There is no world/universe building or history to speak of. No deep systems to engage with, other than building your own ship if you are into that, but why would you if the space battles are mostly skippable and the space combat is attrocious and ship travel between and within planets is just a cutscene. Skill tree would be good enough if the skills worked as they are supposed to. Combat itself is horrid, melee isnt viable at all and gunplay has no weight behind it, plus the variety of gun types is pathetic. Even more pathetic is the variety of enemy types, its pretty much nonexistent, there is no intelligent non human life btw, few useless monster types, but 90% of the time you are fighting humans, in case of bosses, they are half humans, half sponges, some teleport. Writing is dog****, the dialogues are waste of time, following the "story" is a waste of time, trying to get to know your companions is a waste of time and the twist at the end is the most cliche scifi trope anyone could imagine. And its full of ugly npcs and ESG slop bethesda gladly servers you in excess of whats mandated to meet the quota.
In other words, there is no way to play starfield and make it enjoyable, if you have any standards for quality of anything. Be it the story, worldbuilding, exploration or combat. Unless you are proffesional ship designer, starfield has nothing to offer you.
Oh and everything I said concerns only the vision and idea of the game itself, even if the game was polished and technically sound, it would still be mediocre in every way, but ofc its not technically sound, its plagued with bugs and disgusting optimazation.

Some of these drones excuse was a predictable "they haven't played the game" or "these must be Sony Fanboys" on valid criticism for the state of the game in 2023. Because tthat's the only way they can justify to keep kneeling down with their mouth open for whatever Todd Howard is giving them. Nothing made a game studio looks worst than it is than Bethesda's and XBOX's rabid fanbase that are so starved of exclusive game that they are willing to whore themselves for this trash.

It's Bethesda's game, with all its jankiness, incomplete features, and design decision that made you scratch your head in a 2023 AAA game. No brightness and no FOV sliders in 2023? 30 FPS menu in 2023? Absolutely lazy game design with an outdated graphic engine. Not to mention unspired story, dead eyes NPCs, and random **** of bugs that it absolutely hilarious to see people still defend it.

It's funny that Larian moved Baldur's Gate III release ahead of this fearing competition when Starfield still couldn't hold a candle to the epic masterpiece in term of concurent users, sheer review score, and amount of content. That was a passion project and it showed. Baldur's Gate III animals have a better personality, animations, and emotions than your main story companions in Starfield. If this is the best XBOX can muster for their exclusives, they deserve to be dead on the water for any future console wars. Pathetic garbage of a game.

All but a few characters are completely soulless. The shades that they use so heavily, are covering up their insanely dated engines rendering ability. I think if it wasn't blurry as hell, it would be even more glaringly janky. There just isn't anything fun to do in this game. The only person I personally know that is enjoying it defines himself as a "Bethesda Stan". With nothing in them. Yes there are technical hurdles in building a truly open world experience, but as a game developer it's your job to create that illusion.

But it's not just the exploration that's a complete failure. it's actually every facet of the game. The writing, the combat encounters, the environments, the NPCs. Nothing shows deeper commitment or passion. It's cliched, bland and sterile. And just not fun.

But the worst part is how Bethesda chose to market this. Clearly there is some PR bot farm shenanigans going on. This explains the strong counter reactions and all the ugliness surrounding this release. It's a disgusting practice and Bethesda still hasn't learnt yet that it hurts them more than helps. Maybe they've learned their lesson this time.

Bottom line is. this game is at its core a first person shooter with a lot of loading screens, a few rpg elements and some side minigames. With bad enemy ai. Avoid if you like previous Bethesda rpgs or Space exploration games. Actually just avoid.

I enjoy the exploration, the shootouts, the art style, the ship building, and the diverse worlds. I gratefully acknowledge the good optimization and the absence of major bugs. In a year dominated by sequels to franchise favorites, there was a hope that Starfield would carve its own path to success. While the team at Bethesda should be commended for taking such a big swing, there’s no denying that the game doesn’t feel like a cohesive work. Maybe continued support and future sequels will make something more meaningful out of a work that is clearly deeply enamored with both science fiction and space exploration. Unforunately, this first launch has had far more mixed results than desired.
