Starfild carrega a essência dos jogos da bethesda como prometer mil coisas pro jogo e não entregar 1/3 do que prometeu.

The marketing for this was like they were actually going into space, a technical marvel. Bethesda's writing and attention to detail are weaker than I remember... I just see amazing scenarios with lacking options, choices, and consequences in the design and fine detail. On rails.

AI that is more A than I, 30 fps shutter show for modern gaming, large amount loading screens, shallow main story, Bland and laggy title screen, invisible walls. I'm giving it a 2 because it runs better than launch at fallout 76. Todd you suck

If one game doesn't meet the standard of 3A games in 2023, it will be a nonsense to give a high score just because it's made by bethesda, especially when the company toss every problem it has to modders to fix it for free.
First it's a game, then it is a bethesda game.

It’s an amazing game, it requires a bit of maturity to appreciate it as it’s not over the top like a lot of games now a days.

At times, you feel like you're going from one place to another in a linear fashion and the only thing separating you from each place is a loading screen. There is no immersion.

Performance is lousy on PC no matter how much Todd Howard says otherwise (it can be improved with mods). The AI of the enemy NPCs is non-existent, at times they act like punching bags. The rest of the NPCs sometimes appear and disappear in front of you without any explanation, their gestures are robotic, they don't react to the player's actions beyond you shooting them. The graphics would be spectacular in 2012, not 2023. In short, it is not what was promised by Bethesda, and this game is not worth the 80€ they are asking for it. In the future, when they fix the bugs and performance, and if there is some interesting mod, the game will be worth it to know the main story, but not for 80€.

Whether it was the underdeveloped enemy A.I., the poorly designed base building (a giant material storage container can only hold 150 lbs of items, while the safebox in my bedroom can hold infinite), the emotionless (and ugly) character models, the lackluster main story quests, or just the general lack of adventure - Starfield ultimately proves to be an underwhelming RPG that fails to deliver on most of the promises Todd Howard and the marketing team pushed.

That is not to say that there's nothing good here, the weapon design and shooting mechanics are a vast improvement over their past games, the ship-building is very intuitive, and the scenic landscapes of distant planets and galaxies can be absolutely gorgeous! I just wish I had more of a reason to explore them

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I want to start off this review by saying Starfield is a good game and it should be worth checking out on game-pass but it’s outdated game engine and it’s over ambitious world leaves me feeling like I have traveled a vast ocean that was as deep as a puddle. Pros:I liked the base building and the ship customization and the fact that you can shoot down an enemy ship in space and take over their ship gta style , now that was an awesome experience. I love how each planet or moon add their own gravity strength levels. I liked the space combat even though it can be clunking at times. The gun place is a huge improvement from fallout but it’s still not the best gun play experience and can be greatly improved. Cons: the games story is very lack luster and boring. Most of the time you are sent on a boring fetch quest of retrieving these artifacts. Go to this planet and get the artifact. Over and over again no boss battles no interning things. The games story only gets good during the last mission when you are teleporting to other universes but other than that you will be doing the same thing. Another con for this game is you have to look hard to find a good quest through all the boring fetch quest no creativity!! The game feels very old and clunky and character models look terrible. The graphics look average. There’s no real exploration and the game is a loading screen simulator. Even though this was the least buggy Bethesda game I still ran into game breaking bugs that didn’t let me progress some of the quests. What I think they should have done:
I believe they should get rid of the creation engine.
I believe they should have lowered the scope of their world. Instead of 1000 planets they should have have like 3 solar systems max and flesh out each of those worlds and made it to where you can land and leave without loading screens. I want to fly around the planet and shoot people from my space ship and bandit camps. The worlds feel empty and dead each planet has the same abandon outpost and the same reskin 7 creatures that do the same thing . The world just doesn’t seem alive even in the main settlements. The city needs life like being able to interact with the environment. Like imagine if you were able to play darts in neons bars or play some arcade machines or gamble or play pool or go to a strip club and have a lap dance or imagine playing a game of basket ball in space with some random npc or have a drone or mini car race or better yet ship races in a huge arena for a crowd of npc to watch. Things like that can really make you feel like you’re part of the world and having npc partake in those things can really make things alive. Why do people compare this game to Skyrim? The only thing this game shares with Skyrim is its engine. Exploration in Starfield is terrible and should not be compared to Skyrim. Skyrim you can go in any direction and find something awesome and unique during your exploration. For example I was just wandering around Skyrim and I stubbed across a talking dog that lead me to some crazy demon quest with some impactful choices and rewarding me with a cool ass weapon. All that from just wandering or seeing something in the distance. Quest are unique and interesting and you had impactful choices. You can’t do that in Starfield sadly. The game needs diversity. I’m tired of fighting the same enemy. I’m tired of fighting a reskin spacer or pirate.THEY ARE THE SAME. I think it was mistake to not introduce other alien race factions. Like imagine real intelligent alien life forms or like maybe add like space zombies or mutants or something unique other than the generic space pirate. Imagine and alone race with their cultures in the game or you can choose an alien race. That would have been cool. There much I think they should add but I’m getting tired of typing so I will leave that there.

I haven't played such a cold, empty and souless game in a while. Leaving aside the bugs (which as a bethesda game we all know their technical level is sub 0, and this game is no exception) everything feels so cheap and rushed.

-General gameplay goes from empty interactions, amateur and dull voice acting, terrible NPC's and facial features/expressions that reminds me of oblivion.

-Completely outdate engine. New gen you said? The game can barely run on high end hardware, and its filled with artifacts, noise and pollution.

-Maps are empty, repetitive and pale... and obviously no vehicle so you wouldn't realize how empty they are as quick.

-Whoever the f made the gun play never played a shooter in their life.

    -Loading screens EVERYWHERE.

-The AI is probably the worst AI i've ever seen, no exageration.

200+m budget game, i wanna know exactly where that money went because on hiring talented people and investing in resources and technology for sure not. Just to think this is 8 points away from BG3 is ATROCIOUS and a big disrespect to the gaming market, developers and players.

There are other things which hamper the experience such as the abundance of loading screens, the lack of good space combat & space travel but I'm way more dissapointed that Bethesda hasn't bothered to improve on their foundations. A truly incredible game, while occasionally uneven from a technical standpoint, it still manages to offer breathtaking vistas and multiple large cities that can rival other titles solely focused on that aspect of gameplay. However, here, we have 1,000 planets to explore. I've spent 50 hours exploring only about a dozen of them so far, but I've been able to traverse hundreds of outposts, bases, laboratories, mines, caves, observatories, and more, almost never coming across the same ones. Granted, you can't walk around planets entirely, and yes, there's a loading time when landing, but damn, it's absolutely worth it because each landing is a separate adventure (and who wants to walk for hours on an empty planet anyway?). The game is a delightful tapestry of details with infinite potential, already boasting a gargantuan amount of content that guarantees hundreds of hours of gameplay (without even considering the mods that will inevitably come and potentially double or triple that time). Bethesda has given us one of the finest gems in the genre, which will undoubtedly remain a benchmark in both RPG and space opera/exploration terms. Thank you for this masterpiece, which, despite its few flaws, is currently offering me unparalleled hours of adventure, something I haven't experienced in quite some time.

Expand

Space travel game that doesn't allow you to explore space freely in an open world, lacking immersion, with a boring main mission, repetitive secondary missions and objectives, mediocre graphics, poor artificial intelligence, and uninteresting NPC characters.

Perhaps Bethesda will manage to make the Starfield experience better in the future through various updates and expansions. But all in all, it seems like Starfield would have done much better as a universe with a sea of depth and seamlessness spread over 10 planets, rather than what we got spread over 1000." ...

Not being able to actually use your ship to fly over planets is probably the biggest reason why this game feels so bland, I know it's a different movement style but GTA5 duck and cover gunplay is miles ahead and that's a decade old game...

All the fading to black fast travelling feels terrible, although I understand why travelling has to be convenient. However, I feel like if there weren't so much emphasis on (and quantity of) side quests the actual journeys themselves would feel more epic. The side quests are not that far off from feeling like chores.

Some of the skill tree perks should be default at least the ability to actually do it like pickpocket, boosts, and lockpicking (which btw also feels terrible and the reward for unlocking storages and doors usually feel underwhelming).

For space battles I think it would've been better if the weapons systems were all lumped together instead of 3 separate ones. The dogfighting in general just does not feel as good as El1te D4ng3r0us although I have to commend Bethesda for being able to fight in space in third person. I can see Star C!tiz3n gaining some traction in the long term now because I know players will want to explore planets and have epic space battles with their friends in the cockpit with them.

The most disappointing thing for me personally is no native support for HOTAS setup (which I hope mods or a future update can provide). El1te just blows this game out of the water when it comes to controlling your ship, however, Starfield's shipbuilding and customization is extraordinary.

The graphics are nothing to write home about, but are certainly not heavily outdated, I don't get other people having problems with facial animations and the like, everything looks fine for me.

If anything people should be praising Bethesda, for the first time in recent memory, they've released a game without outright game-breaking bugs, from what I've seen. Plus, the modding potential is absolutely immense.

Graphics performance is disappointing, especially with such poor optimization, such as water bodies, vegetation, etc. The procedural terrain has greatly affected the enthusiasm for exploring the outdoors, and the severe black screen loading has affected the continuity of the game. If you are a typical b-RPG user, you can give it a try, otherwise I strongly don't recommend it!

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. OMG, this game is bad! Honestly, I don't even know where to begin. The graphics are outdated, the gunfight gameplay is awful, the performance is terrible, the physics is bad, the world is ridiculously FAKE huge, and everything involves fast traveling.

You want to go from New Atlantis to Mars, right? The Atlantis town and its area are one level, outside the planet is another level, the space between the two planets is one level, close to Mars is another level, and inside Mars is again, another level. So, going from one planet to another requires at least four or five levels to render! Sure, you can fast-travel to Mars from the map, but I'm just saying, why would they create so many levels when your game engine is outdated and not optimized for this?

I wanted to simultaneously go from one planet to another at a very fast speed, and I didn't care if it took one hour and like fighting with other ships in the middle of the way! I wanted to simultaneously enter a planet from its atmosphere and then land on it. By the way, where's the town's map? Who at Bethesda came up with this revolutionary idea of NOT designing maps for towns? It's **** stupid!

What about the bugs? The game completely shut down my computer three times just because I forgot to scan the planet for materials and resources at the first mission of the game. It was frustrating! I paid 100 bucks for this game, and someone told me the game is already cracked! Wow, seriously? Are you telling me that Bethesda didn't even bother to work with Denuvo to protect their game from piracy? I really want to talk about those promises Bethesda told us to deliver and many other things, but I want to keep this review short, so 1/10!!!

There are legitimate criticisms of the game but you have to appreciate Bethesda Game Studios for what they excel at, and why they are so popular in the first place, e.g., scope, vast plethora of options, character development / customization. The biggest improvement is combat which feels very fluid and smooth. The guns are fun to use with interesting modification options. Story-wise the game is good and the companions are a much appreciated improvement over Bethesda's previous companions, although after playing Baldur's Gate 3 for 150 hours in August, I feel there's still a lot to be desired here. The actual space combat, spaceships, and spaceship designer are really cool. However, they tie directly to the biggest issue with this game that quite simply can't be fixed.

The biggest reason this game isn't actually great is because of the switch from an open world to what can only be described as a fast travel simulator. The procedurally generated, hand-crafted content hybrid system works great for what it is. But I feel like this system should have been supplementary, not the core focus of the game. If there were a few planets with huge zones that were as big as Skyrim with their own sets of lore and, more importantly, much better content density, then this procedural tile system would feel like a massive improvement over traditional Bethesda filler quests from previous titles, i.e. respawning bandit bounties from a Hold in Skyrim. But that's not the purpose it serves, it's supposed to totally replace the hand-crafted, content-rich, open world aspect of Bethesda games and it simply falls way short.

The engine feels great, the graphics are good, the voice acting and writing is good, I have little to complain about with the game, but the direction away from an open world in favor of this tile generation system was simply a bad one, despite that system functioning well. It's just not a good design direction. This game will likely be made great by mods, but as it stands, it's just pretty good. If you're a Bethesda fan, pick it up now. If not, buy it on sale, it's worth like $40.

In a year dominated by sequels to franchise favorites, there was a hope that Starfield would carve its own path to success. While the team at Bethesda should be commended for taking such a big swing, there’s no denying that the game doesn’t feel like a cohesive work. Maybe continued support and future sequels will make something more meaningful out of a work that is clearly deeply enamored with both science fiction and space exploration. Unforunately, this first launch has had far more mixed results than desired.
