Feb 29, 2020One of the best games ever, good job from software! Dont listen to people who are crying that its too difficult, just learn to parry :)

Feb 6, 2020A drab and tedious DS rip off, without any of the quirky customisation that made that game interesting by balancing it against the difficulty. Last time I listen to any "game of the year" hype.

Feb 2, 2020Despite the mechanical and artistic differences with the Souls games, Sekiro manages to recapture the feeling I got when playing Dark Souls for the very first time.
A very exciting and meaningful experience! -
Feb 1, 2020If you are a fan of Dark Souls , you will probably like this.
Sekiro has excellent depth and lore , and the combat keeps you entertained for hours.
The vertical scaling of the world is interesting , and adds a new feel to the traditional Dark Souls recipe.
Negatives are that some parts do feel slightly drawn out, but that is a minor complaint.
Overall an excellent experience. -

Jan 30, 2020The only reason this isn't a 10/10 is that I got a frame freeze every few hours of gameplay,
Buy this game it's amazing! -

Jan 9, 2020the player combat system is rather slow but the opponent is faster than us. that is why make this game hard. in middle of the game, you will forget what you wanted to do.also your eyes must be quick and your fingers quicker.thanks god this game is easier than dark souls.

Jan 5, 2020Never had a game push me so hard to get better, although needed some help from youtubers on strategy. Outstanding game.

Dec 27, 2019Favorite Thing: It's a great game in the Souls genre. It's nice having a story without having to read every speck of dirt.
Least Favorite Thing: They went way overboard on the difficulty. Sucks the fun right out of it at times.
Date Completed: 2019-12-27
Playtime: 39h
Enjoyment: 9/10
Recommendation: It's a blast, though the difficulty can make it unfun at times. -
Dec 24, 2019It's a from software game. It's more solid than anything in the dark souls saga, but it still fails on a wonky interface, strange character moves (who slows down a blow towards the end... how... why). If you like fighting against your own character instead of the enemy (ie. you like Dark Souls) It's a game for you

Dec 23, 2019a masterpiece , thank you miyazaki-san thank fromsoftware , you never stop to amaze us
looking forward to the next masterpiece from you ( elden ring ) -
Dec 23, 2019Amazing story, fun gameplay and exploration. You're forced to fight in a specific way which might be a pain in the ass to souls-fans. But apart from that I'm really happy with this game. Probably my fav game of 2019, played it through 4 or 5 times.

Dec 12, 2019Просто ублюдская дерьмина, которая и вовсе не должна существовать. Как эта дрисня получила звание игры года? Не других каких либо номинаций! СРАЗУ ИГРА ГОДА!

Dec 11, 2019Good game. I generally love From Software studio games. But I don’t know why, closer to the finale I became bored somehow. I did not have the patience for the final boss, although I killed all the other bosses in the game (including additional ones).

Game World Navigator MagazineMay 15, 2019There’s no leveling (in Soulsborne sense of the word), no covenants, no multiplayer, no variety in armor and weapons. It could be written off a stylistic choice, if the rest of the game didn’t feel very similar to the previous FromSoftware games. But it does, so Sekrio comes across as rather shallow. Apr 27, 2019Sekiro Shadows Die Twice is a milestone in the genre. It offers complex, stunning and precise sword fights and duels that its predecessors lacked, and from which its successors will have to keep up with. You no longer simply learn by repeatedly and unfairly dying, but you refine your talents as a player. You seek unique methods to overcome each boss, rather than just rolling at the right time before spamming a few hits.

Edge MagazineApr 25, 2019Dozens of hours later, we're still not sure how we feel about it. It's a game of contradictions, open and flexible in its level design, yet resolutely strict in its combat... It is a brilliant game, that is certain. but it is often a difficult one to truly love. Naturally, we can't put it down. [Issue#332, p.104]
