Apr 22, 2019It's not very different from souls games hence From Software. Like any souls like games you have to forget everything you know and take one step at a time. Literately. And build up as you go. I like love how we are introduced to a new - hopefully - series game.

Apr 15, 2019Okay, so this game is quite good but like every fromsoft game it has many problems.
Pros:
AMAZING world design
Good level design
Almost every bossfight is great...
Cons
... But they copy&paste like 20 bosses/minibosses.
Combat system is subpar
No replayability -
Apr 15, 2019The game would be a solid 9/10, but the difficulty overall brings it down to 8.
One of the highlights of 2019 and another great game in the legacy of Soulsborne series. -

Apr 13, 2019Just another souls-like game but this one needs more precision. Parry system is good don't know why people thinks it's bad, it's just different.
mixed setting 720p 30fps vega 11(stock) 2666mhz ram. -
Apr 13, 2019The best single player game I have played for years. Fun and unique boss fights, beautiful environments and cool elements of stealth and prostethics.
-
Apr 12, 2019srsly the ones who give negative reviews should not play a hardcore game. just go play AC games with the easiest difficulty.

Apr 11, 2019very good game, but way to frustrating. With the time and energy it takes to git gud at this game you could have an A in calculus. Not worth it at all

Game World Navigator MagazineMay 15, 2019There’s no leveling (in Soulsborne sense of the word), no covenants, no multiplayer, no variety in armor and weapons. It could be written off a stylistic choice, if the rest of the game didn’t feel very similar to the previous FromSoftware games. But it does, so Sekrio comes across as rather shallow. [Issue#237, p.28]

Apr 27, 2019Sekiro Shadows Die Twice is a milestone in the genre. It offers complex, stunning and precise sword fights and duels that its predecessors lacked, and from which its successors will have to keep up with. You no longer simply learn by repeatedly and unfairly dying, but you refine your talents as a player. You seek unique methods to overcome each boss, rather than just rolling at the right time before spamming a few hits.

Edge MagazineApr 25, 2019Dozens of hours later, we're still not sure how we feel about it. It's a game of contradictions, open and flexible in its level design, yet resolutely strict in its combat... It is a brilliant game, that is certain. but it is often a difficult one to truly love. Naturally, we can't put it down. [Issue#332, p.104]
