Feb 18, 2021Stop comparing Sekiro to Dark Souls, matter of fact stop comparing games at all. Sekiro stands well on its own, also GIT GUD
-
Feb 15, 2021Sekiro is by far the hardest Fromsoftware game yet. So much so I even disliked the game for nearly 6 months before I enjoyed it. Once I took the time and learned how to play its unique style it made me truly feel achieved by overcoming its massive difficulty.

Feb 14, 2021Absolute masterpiece. Very high quality game. It's hard, but fair. Nice sceneries.

Feb 8, 2021I gave up, for now. It's so annoying that other users rate so many games 10, because it dilutes the potency of my own 10, which I've come specifically here to award to my all time favourite games.
I will remember Sekiro forever. -

Jan 29, 2021best combat in gaming history for sure. deflecting is so satisfying. story is not that interesting but the world is.
-
Jan 26, 2021Reminds me a lot of the most charming aspects of Ocarina of Time- a unique world to explore, with intimidating locals and a bevy of interesting enemies and equipment. Except this time, the game is made for adults.

Dec 27, 2020Masterpiece, truly a unique experience, despite being build on familiar elements.
-
Dec 25, 2020Corto, tremendamente corto. Se fosse stato più longevo era perfetto! Sistema di combattimento stupendo, fantastico.

Dec 12, 2020the game is so beautiful that you would play it again after finishing even if it is hard because of the gameplay mechanics it's better than dark souls imo and this is coming from a soulsborne fan
-
Dec 12, 2020This game gave me masochistic tendencies for I am always coming back to this game no matter how hard it kicks me to the ground.
This is what an abusive relationship feels like -
Dec 11, 2020Speaking seriously for a moment, don't go in expecting a Souls game just because it's made by FromSoftware, this is a completely different game, even if it borrows some key elements from Souls.

Game World Navigator MagazineMay 15, 2019There’s no leveling (in Soulsborne sense of the word), no covenants, no multiplayer, no variety in armor and weapons. It could be written off a stylistic choice, if the rest of the game didn’t feel very similar to the previous FromSoftware games. But it does, so Sekrio comes across as rather shallow. [Issue#237, p.28]

Apr 27, 2019Sekiro Shadows Die Twice is a milestone in the genre. It offers complex, stunning and precise sword fights and duels that its predecessors lacked, and from which its successors will have to keep up with. You no longer simply learn by repeatedly and unfairly dying, but you refine your talents as a player. You seek unique methods to overcome each boss, rather than just rolling at the right time before spamming a few hits.

Edge MagazineApr 25, 2019Dozens of hours later, we're still not sure how we feel about it. It's a game of contradictions, open and flexible in its level design, yet resolutely strict in its combat... It is a brilliant game, that is certain. but it is often a difficult one to truly love. Naturally, we can't put it down. [Issue#332, p.104]
