Aug 1, 2021I liked the big monkey a lot. The rest of the game was awesome too I guess.
-
Aug 1, 2021Simply put one of the greatest games I have ever played. Loved every minute. Gameplay is so fluent and has a great pace, boss fights are just amazing and will get your palms sweating.
-
Aug 1, 2021The best melee combat mechanics I have ever experienced. Some of the tightest, most exhilarating boss fights in any From Software game.
-
Aug 1, 2021This game is not difficult but makes you die thousands of times. Great game.

Aug 1, 2021Pretty good. Combat mechanics are deeper than DS and offer more variety. Great game.
-
Aug 1, 2021it's sooo good. going back to dark souls is gonna be hard. Game is soo dank.
-
Aug 1, 2021I love this game its fight are awesome the combat is great takes a lot of skill for this game but win you beat a boss it makes you fill so good.
-
Aug 1, 2021Good combat system that feels refreshingly different to the Souls series. It's great going toe to toe with a human-sized, sword wielding opponent, and trading blows and blocks for sometimes minutes on end. It really captures that sword-fight feeling.

Aug 1, 2021No ultrawide support for an "AAA" game in 2019.
And you can it "Game Of The Year"? -

Jul 23, 2021Whoever programmed the camera should be fired, but other then that pretty much a masterpiece.
-

Jul 19, 2021This game is so good the combat is my favourite thing about it its fun and at the end of the day thats what matters buy the game good ost on beethoven level easy game
-
Jul 18, 2021Its a Fromsoft game, and it is the game of the year 2019, i like the outstanding combat system.
-
Jul 16, 2021I went from hating this game because it was too hard to being so obsessed with it that I 100% it. Give the game a chance. The fighting is tough but it is like a dance, you just have to learn the moves. You are missing out on one of the best games ever made if you give up.

Jul 16, 2021An impressive action/adventure game, indeed.
In the pure Fromsoftware style, this Sekiro can surely attract every souls lover for the high challenges of the Bosses.
Unfortunately, even if the gameplay is impressive, I can't say the same thing about the plot. And since it's also an adventure game, I judge this as the only truly big flaw of the game. -
Jul 15, 2021Masterpiece. I really enjoy it even though I’m not good at action game. No complain at all
-
Jul 14, 2021Very challenging, very unique combat, super intriguing story, great visuals and awesome gameplay. All around a fantastic game, you're gonna want to play with a controller however. Otherwise you will have an awful time. But yah sick game in all aspects.
-
Jul 11, 2021only after second playthrough a year later I finally realised that I actually liked it
-
Jul 9, 2021Came in expecting unplayable white-knuckle difficulty, left with one of my favorite From Software titles. Wonderful game if you enjoy a challenge.
-
Jul 8, 2021Sekiro is one of the best games ever created, it's hard, it's brutal, and it's totally worth it.
If you like this type of games, have no doubt. Buy it. -
Jul 5, 2021I just finished the game. Sekiro have a good storyline and good dub. also amazing ost and music compose. but some main boss fights had some bug that I hate. after all, I love Sekiro and its one of my best games ever played.
-
Jul 4, 2021Wow. Another soulslike, but better than all that came before. Though the story is not as developed as in other titles (like in Bloodborne), the combat really shines. Fights are faster then ever, which makes it intimidating at first, but being good at deflecting enemy strikes feels that much better.

Jul 4, 2021Cured my depression. How you may ask, well i died so many times in it that I don't want to die in real life anymore.
-
Jul 4, 2021Just all-round exceptional game, a masterpiece, plain and simple. Well deserved GOTY award.
Was pleasantly surprised that it's not just a weird souls-like with jumps and grappling hooks set in feudal Japan, but a completely new experience that plays differently in every major aspect. Hope it will do what Souls games have achieved and will define a new sub-genre. -
Jul 4, 2021Just remember, you being bad at the game doesn't make the game bad. Parry Souls.
-
Jul 4, 2021This game is amazingly fun and frustrating at the same time. The frustration comes from the difficulty which is expected. Unlike the SoulsBorne games, this is a new type of combat system along with a heavier focus on the story. You will be disappointed going into this thinking OH its a japanese style dark souls.

Game World Navigator MagazineMay 15, 2019There’s no leveling (in Soulsborne sense of the word), no covenants, no multiplayer, no variety in armor and weapons. It could be written off a stylistic choice, if the rest of the game didn’t feel very similar to the previous FromSoftware games. But it does, so Sekrio comes across as rather shallow. [Issue#237, p.28]

Apr 27, 2019Sekiro Shadows Die Twice is a milestone in the genre. It offers complex, stunning and precise sword fights and duels that its predecessors lacked, and from which its successors will have to keep up with. You no longer simply learn by repeatedly and unfairly dying, but you refine your talents as a player. You seek unique methods to overcome each boss, rather than just rolling at the right time before spamming a few hits.

Edge MagazineApr 25, 2019Dozens of hours later, we're still not sure how we feel about it. It's a game of contradictions, open and flexible in its level design, yet resolutely strict in its combat... It is a brilliant game, that is certain. but it is often a difficult one to truly love. Naturally, we can't put it down. [Issue#332, p.104]
