    Uninstalling after the Season 1 patch. Had high hopes for the game and enjoyed it for a bit, but then the season 1 patch came and it's just a horrible, slow, slog for no actual game. This is an ARPG, not Stardew Valley. Fast pace, good and varied loot, and great bosses are a must and D4 now fails on every single one of those.

    The campaign was really interesting and fun, got with it somewere lvl 40-50, but after that is just painful to play, loot are trash, extreme grinding for a "unique" item to make your build work, chests not rewarding just waste of time, classes not balanced and in the end they came with a massive nerf to all classes making them even weaker and harder to do any NM dungeons.     Diablo 4 is worse than a bad game. It's an experiment to see how much money you can extract for the least amount of game possible, ethics be damned. How low can we go and still get away with raking in cash? It's anti-consumer and damaging to the industry.

    Spent my money on this game and played the campaign. Thought this game was great. I have played further and now admit I was conned by an unethical company.
    This game only positive is you can pat the dog in town. I purchased a game that had 5 playable characters. Now 3 are playable and 2 are laughable. New patch has made me feel like I've bought a car with 3 wheels.    I admit I got, got.

    Blizzard killed the best thing about Diablo: the loot!!
    "legendaries" are a poor substitute for uniques. So much of the fun of Diablo used to be building characters that used uniques in, well, unique ways. Hell, just finding one was great. Now I dont even get a jump in the heartbeat when one drops because it will only be mats for something from the codex....
    Now uniques are just badges for    Blizzard killed the best thing about Diablo: the loot!!

    Do not recommend after latest patch. Most tone deaf not needed made things worse patch I have ever seen in 40+ years of gaming. I feel like I paid $90 to be a 1 month beta tester.

    The instant "success" and profit figures of Diablo 4 are totally based on the franchise name and history, not this game itself. Sure the graphics and UI are good but the game is completely missing decent lore and feel that made Diablo 1 & 2 so great (skipping over Diablo 3 which many people will understand why). Diablo 4 doesn't FEEL right, it just feels scattered and pointless.The instant "success" and profit figures of Diablo 4 are totally based on the franchise name and history, not this game itself. The countless towns all feel exactly the same, it seems like just a big random mess of dungeons and towns with no rhyme or reason to any of it. I've played one character through veteran into the nightmare difficulty, I'm already bored and back playing other games. I had my hopes high for this but they completely missed the fantasy story like lore part of Diablo that everyone loves and make another key smashing boring game just like Diablo 3.… Expand

    I made a review and got a 403. Great. I'll just summarize:
    This patch is horrible. It needs to be reverted. If this is how they are going to update the game and implement player feedback (taking the feedback and doing the polar opposite), then they don't deserve to have good reviews.
    Spend your $75 elsewhere. You won't regret missing this one, at least in the bad state it is in right now.

    it's more than 10 years now, blizzard have made it clear over the years, they just want your money all they can do is trigger your nostalgia to get that money and give you something you just gonna be pissed about, so yeah, forget about all blizzard products

    fix the game blizzard quit making it worse how about you make items obtainable, create a gem tab, make side quests carry over, you can add a battle-pass but everyone has to wait 6 months for any decent QOL changes... what a joke

    3. the scaling is bad, game devs clearly didn't finish high school Math 4. rerolling stats is insanely expansive, almost impossible to switch builds, if your current builds gets nerfed, you are cooked. 5. devs refused to listen to the community in any case.     Blizzard does not care about its player/fanbase. Since launch to s1 they have removed basically all the fun parts about the game. All they care about is analytics and data.

    Completely ruined the game. Buying this game was a mistake. Trusting Blizzard to provide post-launch support to improve the game was a mistake.

    I'm sorry but Blizzard isn't blizzard anymore. This game could be great, but were not in the early 2000s anymore. They didn't fix anything the community been asking about. Instead they slowed down XP, increased the damage we took, reduced the damage we do. They hurt the game across the board, everything is slower now. They wanted to nerf the 1% of players making the end game look like aI'm sorry but Blizzard isn't blizzard anymore. This game could be great, but were not in the early 2000s anymore.     Fundamentally flawed. It's suppose to be a MMO but there's no trading of aspects or legionaries, no party finder, and no one seems to be online in areas outside of the main town. It's a very lonely single player game that requires you to be online. Itemization is completely undersigned. Your high level characters can not farm items for your lower level characters, because each item dropFundamentally flawed.     The games made by a group of self-centered people don’t understand what the players want. The games made by Blizzard in the past were all high-quality products, and the players accepted them after repeated delays. Now how long has this Diablo 4 been developed? After making it like this, how can you give players the confidence?

    While the future of the game is anyone’s guess, at present Diablo IV is a solid, but strangely unambitious take that fails to bring much new to the table. By the end of my travels, I was more than willing to put it down and take a break — somewhere amongst all the grinding, Diablo IV had unfortunately ground me down as well.
