    Like some others I made this account for this review only. I try to be as objectively as possible but Blizzard made that really difficult. During my first playthrough through the campaign I enjoyed the game. Heck, I even bought the add-on horse. But the more I played the lazier the game looked. Let´s take legendarys as an example. In my opinion legendary Items should be something special. With meening. With story. In this game everything legendary is this way because of an aspect. This aspect could be on several different Itemslot, creating the illusion of hundreds of legendarys. But it is nothing more than an illusion. In Truth there are less then 150. Diablo 3 had more than 500, not counting the Sets. Like i said. lazy design hidden behind randomness. Thats not all. In my opinion you could remove legendarys from the game and make the enemys drop the aspects without changing the game at all. Therefore if a gamemechanic does not fulfill anything besides making the game feel bigger than it is, is it necessary?

    And now they show with the latest patch that they do not care for the community. First they increase the Ep you get pre season to keep people hooked. Now they reduce it again to increase playtime of the season. The season itself has a theme that is nothing but a bad version of Diablo 3 legendary gem system.

    This is the first time i would take a refund offer for a game i bought. Not even reforged got me to this point.

    Therefore my recomendation: do not buy. wait for a sale. if you already bought is, wait for a year or so. the game will get better, i think.    … Expand

    blizzard you made your bed now sleep in it. Horrible, I'm just glad that Baldur's Gate 3 is dropping soon. My only gripe is, that it's not dropping soon enough.

    Everyone already knows the reasons -- Season 1.1 patch destroyed a previously fun game. Massive pull back on all classes damage and armor resulting in all the work already done on previous characters now completely irrelevant -- with no viable options to substitute. WTF!!? Some others: Season 1 map fog bug, being forced to go seek out waypoints we already found, being forced to repeatEveryone already knows the reasons -- Season 1.1 patch destroyed a previously fun game. Some others: Season 1 map fog bug, being forced to go seek out waypoints we already found, being forced to repeat Renowns we have already completed, a wow-like clean slate, but no content -- do more of what you have already done, in an un-trackable mess of "chores" if you want to progress the seasonal chapters. Gems now rarely drop, but instead your bags are filled with malignants so much you are spending even MORE time managing a horrible inventory system -- no stash/inventory capacity changes, no Inventory search or proper sort ability. Conveniently setup the seasonal menu UI in such a way that you will inevitably/accidently use your premium battle pass. Very suspect ! You didn't fix anything the community feedback have been giving you since beta, instead you made changes no one was asking for so you could slow us down and take out all the fun we had been having up until the 1.1 patch. And It backfired indeed. So surprised Blizzard is under a massive DDOS at the moment -- the Devs basically aren't going to change much. So...Baldur's Gate 3 in two weeks. No reason to waste your time with D4. It will be months before they fix this, if they even do. GG Blizz -- you are not worthy.… Expand

    Why not have 10 variations of items with this Aspect in your stash that you cant search for and is very limited and the hearts and gems take up half of it now anyway?!?!
    But we have a fix for your teleport out of dungeon, now its 5 sec cuz why not. Oh how about a Wraith one shotting you through 2 walls while you cant see it, you're welcome.
    Did we forget about the content, we'll just slow everything down to a crawl so players feel like there is soooo much content, they'll be fine.
    Lets also reduce defense, cuz everyone is mostly using offensive spellsstats, looks like its not needed, should be all-right. Stash tab problems, lets give them MORE Vicious Hearts that don't stack, thats a nice Season incentive. Sorcerer is relying too much on cooldowns to do anything, well, lets reduce the cooldown stats on items, make them wait a bit more, cuz we dont like that class, we were forced to add it by the Community. Its the players failt that we have to add the nerfs, they do too much damage with Vulnerable, so we'll reduce it, but now they'll need it more than ever, but they shouldnt rely on it, but they really should if they wanna do decent damage.

    I was already playing Diablo when i was a child, on the first episode.
    The 3 was a joke, next to the 2, who is a masterpiece.
    The 4 is empty of soul. The music is great, but the game is boring as hell after only 10 hours. The builds are annoying. Nothing original. I’m a ultra Diablo fan, from the one, and i stop playing Diablo 4 after only 15 hours. Can you imagine ? A shame. Blizzard    I was already playing Diablo when i was a child, on the first episode.

    This game is trash and the devs should feel bad about themselves, they are dummy nerds who don't know anything about game design, horrible balance!! They ruined this game and ripped me off of my money. They still selling overpriced skins in the shop though. TRASH.

    As a big fan of the Diablo franchise, I cannot recommend this game. It has one of the worst post-campaign gameplay ever. Boring as hell, poor unique, account bound is BS, etc, etc...
    Don't waste your time and money on this piece of trash.

    Diablo 4 is all about money money money. Balancing issues in gameplay, character classes and equipment. Insufficient or repetitive content, players get bored or feel like they've exhausted the game's possibilities too quickly. Lack of compelling end-game content. Poor communication from the developers and inadequate community management.

    Blizzard killed the best thing about Diablo: the loot!!! boring gameplay. Boring, trash, not fun, confusing cross platform and party requirements for grouping. Bored to tears, actually refunded.

    It's just simply boring. Played necro - my fav char since d2 and got bored after 50lvl
    Played rogue in season 1 and after completeing 3 season journeys I got no legendary items! So I'm lvl 34 and only yellow equip with 1 uniqe item and once again got bored cause you basically explore tunnels.
    Doing season journey has no sense - in d3 you got set items - here nothin worthy. Next, I don't    It's just simply boring. Played necro - my fav char since d2 and got bored after 50lvl

D 3 was a bad joke) and technical ways. Price is aberrant (70 for just the base game, add 30 more for nothing really, and then, on top of that, pay for hollow seasonal content).

All time invested until S1 is a waste, "thank you for your money ppl".
    Creation of the entire game was replicated in a week by one guy (check YouTube). That is saying a lot. Game is a scam. Hollow and hopeless. Shame on you! I hope you get what you deserve for this lazy projects.    … Expand

    I play mage... ONLY 2 builds are viable. We're unfairly squishy. And they nerfed our damages. And the "only 2 builds" require to be meelee ... a mage -> meelee + squishy = OS. Soooooo diablo 4 is the last blizzard game having no mage .... congratz Blizzard. if I could I would ask for a refund. Awful patch 1.1 . If only I could hurt you and change the way you're making the game...

Seems the devs only job is to make sure players are playing the game they want it to be played at all times. They are forcing longevity with immense boring pointless grinds and holy grail items you will never see instead of letting people make a character fun and then compete against others in leaderboards as the tried and true way. Now it’s just some pointless level 100 that takes 500 hours of nonsensical grinding which they continue to nerf and make more difficult if we find ways to make it enjoyable or easier. Game 10/10

    The game feels like it focused more on the graphics than the game system. Every time the Devs talk about the issues, it feels like D4 has spaghetti coding. It reminds me of when the game PUBG PC had bad coding, and the Devs admitted struggling to fix the game.

    Season 1 feels rushed and like nothing has changed; they just added a quest and those gems that add a little to the mechanics. What's even more amusing is that their battle pass is the worst of all battle passes.

    While the future of the game is anyone’s guess, at present Diablo IV is a solid, but strangely unambitious take that fails to bring much new to the table. By the end of my travels, I was more than willing to put it down and take a break — somewhere amongst all the grinding, Diablo IV had unfortunately ground me down as well.
