    I enjoyed most of the story, cinematics were gorgeous, everything else bare bones. Once i got to level 70 i got so bored. Season 1 came out and it looked so terribly mid i didnt even bother, season 2 trailer did not inspire me to reinstall the game at all.     Zero game economy. Itemization is too mushy and drops don't feel significant. Might as well be a tooltip reading simulator with how many yellows you have to sift though.

    Game needs some kind of economy and tradable items to make drops feel significant. It needs a loot filter. Items need to be less class dependent to make gearing multiple characters less awful.

    The game is just not fun.

    The content and loot becomes very repetitive. I don't feel like I'm being rewarded when investing time into this game.

    It was fun for a few weeks then several patches came that just sucked the life out of the game. Maybe in the future it will get better but as of now, I would save your money.

No belts, no shoulders, no sets, no random generated dungeons, no runes, no runewords, no magic find, no area damage, no cannot be frozen, no crushing blow, no deadly strike, no folowers, no auras, noI made account just to give Diablo 4 score of ZERO..     The themes and mechanics are just not enough for a game released 2023. I have more fun playing Diablo 2 again. The concepts feel stale and out of date. And all that micro transaction machinations and seasons and what not are totally unecessary.

    There is way to much to complain about, for every hour of fun i had with this hot piece of garbage i had at least the same ammount of Frustration and Hate for it in the End.
    Blizzard is clearly out of touch and not able to deliver a Game well done and polished.

    This Game has so many Bugs, some small some big, and with each update that fixes an unbeleavbly ton according to the patchnotes and hotfix notes it adds more new ones and didnt even fix the ones that were fixed according to the patchnotes.

    Rubberbanding of Doom at random times.
    Badly coded like for example our client always reads out all inventory/stash/whatever of any player we encounter while yet theres no benefit for that except the performance issues on client side this creates.
    Mico stutters since Patch 1.1 everywhere at the worst times.
    PAtch 1.1 was a Joke too, and the Emergency Campfire with excuses and promises that this should have come together with the so called "buffs" in three weeks is the Joke of the Century.
    They did not expect that kind of Backlash and had to find an excuse , they never planned to balance it out with buffs and tweaks, they simply wanted to extend playtime and make it more tedious so people will buy pass lvl ups more likely to get the rewards without that hassle.
    Forcing PvP Quests on Players in Seasonjourneys in a Game that is as unbalanced with oneshot mechanics and builds left and right is a bad choice too, one that lead to my unistall of both the Game and Battlenet in total.
    If i want to have PvP i play real PvP games and not a friggin Hack And Slay Looter !
    Yeah yeah go grab a friend and kill him excuses ive heard it all, give me a break with this whiteknighting.
    Where are Sets?
    Oh a hundred people of a few millions got uberuniques? Quick lets nerf that down hard, god forbid people have fun finding an Endgame BiS Item.
    The Whole Idea of grabbing Affixes from one item and put it onto a perfect Yellow Item is so bad and boring.
    Only in the first week i got exited for legendary drops, once i understood all the Mechanics i didnt even bother picking stuff up, hell it even gets send to you box then.
    Wich has way to less space for all the Classes and Builds anyway.
    And thats not even a thing they can fix easily cause now the Devs mentioned that the Box is perma dupe cheking all the Things wich impacts Performance heavily...... is this a Joke? Not for Blizzard in 2023! JEsus Christ.
    The Story itself was pretty mediocre, the Characters where great and had much potential but in the End it felt rushed and to short, and yes i did it all, twice. Then i skipped everything for the other Toons
    Multiple 90-95 Classes.
    No Quest sharing? No group progress for questing together on sidequests and that? I have never ever played a Game Coop that was supposed to be an MMO type of Game that was so poorly designed on its Multiplayer aspects, jesus christ.
    No more Trading at all for Leg or Uniques, not even with your Partymembers.
    What happend to Diablo III´s one hour of Trade possibility with the people you where together after finding it? Nah that could reduce actual playtime if people give away the items they dont need to their partymembers, instead lets just let them hope to find the right thing themselfs.
    No MAtchmaking or anything ingame, Chats Dead, why going a Lost Ark Copycat route of beeing an MMO Diablo when you dont even provide the simple things. there is absolutly no Point in making it the Way it is right now, no Housing No show off to other people cause everyone looks the same anyway, the Costumes are bland as hell.
    #God am i mad, this was the Last Time Blizzard has seen me as a Customer, i did quit after the Blizzcon Disaster with Immortal after owning all their Games and blowing Money at em, only came Back for D4, noticed how much of a S* Show it is and now im gone forever.
    Also it tells alot of the Industry and Media when you compare User Reviews and "professional reviews" even before Patch 1.1, its sickening.    … Expand

    Bait and switch. This trend in video games should be illegal. Latest patch slows game down and increases pay to win. I feel like I was tricked into buying one game and then boom after a month they turn it into the greedy money grubbing kind of game I would've never paid $70 for. I will remember this and will likely not buy another game from Blizzard.

    The most uncomfortable and lowest HNS i ever played that is even simpler than HNS like titan quests that are 20y old. This game is pathetic that shows what corporation shhh talk do with games.
    A game for everyone with no face - that uses just brand and corpo talking that lies in words that can be understand in many ways.

Das würde wenigstens etwas motivieren. Die Items die man findet ich schaue fast gar nicht mehr nach wird direkt verkauft nur kurz die Aspekte. Irgendwas fühlt sich da Falsch an.

Ich will mein ein Charakter stetig ausbauen und Spass haben. Nicht immer wieder von neu anfangen. Blizzard kümmert sich um Dinge die Nutzlos sind anstatt das Spiel zu verbessern und auszubauen.     Another franchise ruined by Activision. How much longer can this CEO remain. I suspect he is just buying time until the MSFT deal. This game has zero depth, repetitive, focused on mindless grind for console players. 20 year old WoW and D2 stands up better today than this garbage..

    I waited for years for the next Diabo game only to be insulted with Immortal and do I have a phone? OMG, Then Diablo 4 release was announced, and anticipation rose up in me. Then the price is a shocker, but hey it's the Diablo game. Then reality sets in, after all this time almost no storage, no armory with load outs (i mean even Immortal has one), no leader board (again Immortal has it)I waited for years for the next Diabo game only to be insulted with Immortal and do I have a phone? OMG, Then Diablo 4 release was announced, and anticipation rose up in me. Then the price is a shocker, but hey it's the Diablo game. Then reality sets in, after all this time almost no storage, no armory with load outs (i mean even Immortal has one), no leader board (again Immortal has it) then a nerf that makes the 100 level grind even longer! Then a BP that's basically a joke for free only 23 tiers, verses another 67 if I pay or 67 plus a 20 tier jump for a whopping $25! But it's not about the money? Further if I wanted to play normal, not season, the BP can't even be used? And forget Hard Core gameplay, because Blizzard has still not fixed disconnect deaths that cause everyone to quit HC in D3! You cant save platinum from it to buy another battlepass and in season 4 you will be 2 platinum coins short for free battlepass. Itemization is disaster. boring legendaries and you are constantly weak. There is no power progression. You have to have all the time max upgraded gear to do little moreGreedy practices.     Started with Diablo 3 to make things worse; Diablo 4 made things much worse (there is also the notorious mobile game that's the worst in the game history between these) and the latest patch is just the icing on the cake. Bravo!

    This Game is so disrespectful, bad and half assed that i cancelled my 18 year old wow sub, uninstalled everything incl. the battlenet launcher and made sure that i'll never buy anything from ABK ever again.

    The action is boring, the story is thin, you can only use 5 abilities and a basic attack from your entire skill tree and there are only 2 real cinematics in the whole game.

    This game is what a soulless corporate drone would build based on the description of someone who actually played Diablo II.

    Avoid like the plague.

    D4 is a cash grab that is not fun. The graphics don't really hold up against scrutiny and the grind is..... not the fun kind of grind.

    Edit: After some more time I must say: Don't buy this. It is shallow and gives a **** about how it can be more fun for players. It does care a lot about how to take more money from the players, so if you like such then yea, buy it and play!

    Blizzard/Activision kills another game with their greed. How many times is this going to happen before people finally stop buying their stuff? Buggy as can be.

    A game focused on builds with no balance. A game focused on loot with no quality of life features for loot management. A game focused on leveling with no fun endgame. Sad what they've done to this franchise.

    No build variety, same builds, most of the skills are trash and useless.
    Not enough maps, you are always inside the same places. Loot is lame. Rare > Legendary. You go inside a dungeon, fill your small inventory with full of rares then read them for 20 minutes.     I only play hardcore since Diablo 3. Softcore is too boring with no risk. Game is unplayable since launch with regular lags and freezes that can kill your hardcore at any time. Tried it again after season 1 release, nope, still unplayable. I'm glad I used gift cards from K4G to buy this joke of a game.

    And yes, I have specs to run Diablo 4 with high graphics, but game barely runs even    I only play hardcore since Diablo 3. Softcore is too boring with no risk.     yeah, lowered it once again, the season is just like the base game, only slower and more boring. Lvling feels unawarding, killing mobs takes to long and since i allready know that the end game sucks, theres realy nothing to work forward to.

    This is the nightmare 0-o.
    No balance, the storyline is not finished, the game is glitching, the quests are corrupted, and the player gets stuck all the time.
    Don't waste your time on this horrible product, better to go and play Baldurs Gate 3 - a real masterpiece.
    I definitely recommend to request a refund for this piece of crap.

    While the future of the game is anyone’s guess, at present Diablo IV is a solid, but strangely unambitious take that fails to bring much new to the table. By the end of my travels, I was more than willing to put it down and take a break — somewhere amongst all the grinding, Diablo IV had unfortunately ground me down as well.
