Like people are constantly exploiting with dungeon resets, gold, boosting, etc. And you guys have the audacity to ban your players when you should be punishing your @@#tty quality assurance team. Literally losing hundreds of hours and $$$ on a game cause one day you guys think we are so called "exploiting" when its a clear bug inTerrible company that bans you for finding out their bugs.     Long time fan of the series, absolutely dissapointed. All "additions" to this game fail to relate into meaningful content. Expected content missing (rune/runewords, set items, actually unique uniques), all the things that make Diablo, Diablo.

    I have been a gamer for most of my life. In fact, 1 year away from 20 years playing video games. This is the only game I have ever played in my entire life where I fell asleep midgame. I am being beyond serious. I have played numerous ARPGs before, including Diablo, yet Diablo 4 makes me jolt awake when I die because my brain has picked up the sound changes. Terrible game.

    No I am not your Alpha tester. The only good thing about this game is the cinematics. They could've easily make it a great game by implementing the Diablo 3 RoS systems, but instead made it a laggy boring time sink mess.

    Fun for as long as the campaign lasted, end game is atrocious, gear progression atrocious, dungeons stale, and build variety lacking. You'd think with all their time on a series they'd figure out a few things. Just go play Path. You will find its a little harder to grasp at entry, but pays off sooooo big at endgame.

    Loved Diablo 2 and 3, sunk years into both but Diablo 4 is trash. Endgame is terrible, skill tree is only good while learning then when you want to change builds you sit there for half an hour moving every little talent around. The loot is terrible, theres a million different modifiers on everything, legendaries are boring, they drop too often and are underpowered.     Dog **** end game. Open world game build around farming nm dungeons because its the only worthwhile end game content tk complete.... Open world game where you hardly ever encounter other players. Lack luster itemization. Lack of qol is insane. Last Epoch has 1000x the amount of qol and the resources and size of that team is much smaller than d4. Dog**** game

The initial campaign was pretty fun but when you get into the late game activities, it feels terrible. I was ready to spend extra money on the game down the road too even if it was cosmetic if they showed they could get the game in order. However, Blizzard has made it clear this is purely about money and not about providing the type of gaming experience that earned them the status in the industry they once had. They got my money for nostalgia's sake this time but won't get another cent out of me unless they can return to what got them this far, but I'm not hopeful I went ahead and uninstalled the game today as I realized I haven't played in weeks now and the game was just taking up space on my drive.… Expand

I never EVER found it necessary to create an account to rate a game until now. **** blizzard, **** bobby kotick, MS made a huge mistake buying this company. Blizzard is a husk of what it once was.     This game tricked everyone. Make the early game amazing, pay off Critic Reviews. Doesn't hide the fact its a garbage game from a selfish company. People spend more time messing with lack of inventory space than playing.

    I made this account just to give this game a review. Stay away, and don't believe the paid off review sites. This game thinks that games aren't supposed to be fun to play.

    I.. cannot believe this.. When I played this game in Beta I was super excited.. The character build, the environment, the classes everything seemed to be too good to be made by THIS Blizzard... But the more I played it the more disappointed I came to be.. Repetitive gameplay, same skill cycle, only a selective amount of skills are actually playable.. And the story is actually ok and is theI.. cannot believe this.. When I played this game in Beta I was super excited.. The character build, the environment, the classes everything seemed to be too good to be made by THIS Blizzard... But the more I played it the more disappointed I came to be..     2.Wt making it worse is that Blizzard is adjusting the xp secretly without noticing the player, which increasing the density of the mobs doesn't mean that we can gain more xp.
    Blizzard, u are liteally backstabbing us. Every promise that you make, has never been fulfilled.
    What's makes me more disappointed is that you are trying to exploit and abuse the mechanism to retain the total playing hours. Have you ever heard of sunk cost fallacy? Players will just left the game when they found there's no any gaming experience in it. Wt makes a strong positive correlation with the total playing hours is MOTIVATION AND GAMING EXPERIENCE BUT NOT THE MECHANISMS. Players wun think they are playing games UNLESS UR DEV TEAM HAD TRIED IT.

    Endgame sucks to be honest where it feels like after level 70 the game is dead. After the largest nerfpatch in gaming history    I have been a huge fan of blizzard games since start of the online gaming era.     My overall experience with D4 is way more bad than it was being fun. It doesnt matter what you try to explain it is the best for longterm with nerfs and with a overall poorly developed game, its the feeling of every each player that counts in the end. The game will die so quick thanks to this reasons. Its better to focus on how it feels to play RIGHT NOW with QUICK updates and not how it feels to play in 1 year. Because if the game sucks for a year, there is no players anymore!     This game plays like an attention draining mobile game with no real reward, Feels like I'm being digitally lobotomized. This will definitely be the last time I support a blizzard title, you've been riding the coattails of the great games that came before long enough.

    This is just a copy past of diablo 3 and took 10 years to make.

    Don't waste your money. Buy diablo 3 and watch the diablo 4 cut sceans on youtube. Basically the same game.

    It also did not work right on release and has been going through balancing patches like crazy. 10 years to make, they should be embarrassed.

    Every patch is released with the intent of heavily decreasing player power, dragging the game out, or both.     Every patch is released with the intent of heavily decreasing player power, dragging the game out, or both. Players are banned every day for unknowingly trading with bot-farmed gold or outright just for trading between friends. This latest patch disabled trading altogether, because they can't do anything right. The game barely functions, the business practices of Activision Blizzard are egregiously predatory, and it's not even fun when the game does work.

    After the campaign, the game becomes a grueling and ceaseless grind to get 1% stronger via paragon levels, min maxing, and micromanaging gear aspects and stats. Classes like Druid have 75% of the late game builds gated behind unique items that have a good chance of not even dropping by level 100. The world mob levels don't even scale up after level 75, so Nightmare Dungeons are the only viable content in the game at that point.

    At the start of the season, the journey menu would automatically hover the button to activate the accelerated battle pass, and there wasn't even a confirmation dialogue if you accidentally clicked it. You can't try to say that a company with over 30 years of game development experience made a mistake with that. It's moronic at best and intentionally scummy at worst. On top of all that, the battle pass doesn't even give you enough in game currency to buy the next battle pass. What kind of joke is that? If you bought this battle pass and the next one, then used your platinum from those for the 3rd, you would still be 2 plat short for the 4th. And the cherry on top of this turd sundae is the MTX shop.

    The best "prestige" skins are on par with the base cosmetics in the game, while the worst aren't even worth looking at. It costs $25 for one set of cosmetics for one class that has a good chance of getting nerfed into the ground in the next patch, and that doesn't even include the "accessories" they try to pedal alongside it. What a joke. You'd be better off spending that money on a strong magnet to fry your old hard drive with.

    TL;DR This game is a grueling chore that you pay no less than $70 for the privilege of doing, and the worst part is these greedy scumbags can get away with all of it. Instead of buying this turd, you should buy Risk of Rain 2 for you and two friends. You'll be much happier for it.    … Expand

    This sad excuse of a release has only made Diablo 3 look like a much better game than it is. I have never in my life seen a video game company ruin their own game as hard as Blizzard. It is legitimately a feat to consistently make the game worse and worse. Save yourself and your wallet, and just buy literally anything else.     This sad excuse of a release has only made Diablo 3 look like a much better game than it is. I have never in my life seen a video game company ruin their own game as hard as Blizzard. It is legitimately a feat to consistently make the game worse and worse. Save yourself and your wallet, and just buy literally anything else. Don't say that I didn't warn you if you decide to buy it anyway.

The damage calculate is complete unbalanced, some hits does not make big damage and others with the same mob made a hit kill and some class is very bad do grow or end game and a lot of more. In the last patch this better but not enough, for example if you killed you reborn miles of the happen, sometimes in the start on dungeon, ok, its make sense to some penalty not to walk more time to fight. The patchs are slow to release, the game server is very lag, sometimes the screen hang and after release your are died And by end the elemental damage and defense its doubt if work well. If you increase elemental damage and defense on paragon board or your items and test after you don´t see anything. The damage is based on vulnerability only.     I found that during the campaign i was really into it especially trying to hit 100. However, once at 100 it felt boring and unrewarding. At NMD 88, i die easier to mobs (stingers, corpse bows, corpse skeletons, chargers, trees and bears) more than i do the bosses. Worst part is after killing the bosses at this level it drops you a sacred legendary. Hence, i say it's unrewarding.     1. The plot is weak, and the logic is nonsensical.
    2. The late game is boring, just grinding in nightmare dungeons, hmm.
    3. All sorts of balance claims to let players enjoy the game, but you nerf anything that makes players happy. Secretly altering equipment affix priorities, polluting the affix pool with junk affixes – I spent billions of gold coins refining four rings and didn't even get a decent roll!
    4. Bugs are everywhere, and you're taking forever to fix them.
    5. Dozens of gems are holding up the trashy first season. There's no fun, if you're having trouble sleeping, play Diablo 4; it'll put you to sleep for sure.
    6. Arrogant attitude. When players pointed out that the dungeon designer doesn't even know how to play Diablo, you swiftly closed the comments at the speed of light. In the face of numerous suggestions and criticisms, all you do is host campfire livestreams, making empty promises without ever making real changes!

And to be honest, I believed that maybe blizzard would have learned from the not great success of diablo 3 and would listen to people... but NO. Sorry blizzard, you took money from me for the last time. The only meaningful thing you've done in all these years since you weren't a real blizzard was to make a d2r.     Game was fun to level to 100 the first time then once all the "balance changes" happen it turned the game into a grind fest. That punished you by enemies off screen being able to kill you in one shot more often (example:corpsebow) and nerfing classes rather then buff under preforming skills (most of which were extremely under preforming) to the point they could be used. Overall wouldnt recommend and will probably not revisit the title or future releases myself. Franchises that start this downward trend never seem to get back up on both legs and its been proven time and again with few and i mean very few being able to turn it around.… Expand

Your only way to get stronger is with paragon points, but XP on higher levels takes way too long. So you can reach your max item level at lvl 70-80. Then you can look for the perfect item with the perfect rolls. But because there are so many trash stats, i'd prefer looking for a needle in a haystack.

    Smaller problems:
    - running circles in dungeons
    - gold drop
    - stash space
    - Glyph leveling not rewarding and capped
    - Battlepass (666 coins)
    - Season Hearts trash and wasting space

    Good:
    - Graphics
    - Sound
    - Story

    The first 50 levels are quite fun if you play the campaign. If you still want fun playing Diablo, stop after campaign and go back to D2.    … Expand

This was the last Blizzard game I paid for. I rocked 2 characters up to level 100 just because I paid 90 euros for the game. Don't waste your time, better buy Baldur's Gate 3

    In general, the game is very poor, the story is not bad, but the endgame is one of the worst things I've seen in my more than 30 years of playing video games. Many things can be said, but it can be summed up by the fact that it is an extremely boring game, with mechanics designed by children. It seems like a game from 15 years ago, with no content and no motivation to keep playing.

    1. Content. Diablo 4 has no mid and endgame content at all. Dead game. No rare mounts, no rare titles, no ladder, no campaign bosses, no Uber bosses, no craft. Literally zero content. The game without any sense after 80 lvl. Players don't understand why they should keep playing. For what?

Players don't understand why they should keep playing. For what?

    4. Stash. The game has 5 stash-tabs for 10 possible characters. 5 tabs. 5. 5! This is a joke. I can't even create a twink in this game, because there is no space for him.

    I don't know why I still hoped that Blizzard could manage to make a decent game, but even this time, it's a total letdown. The latest patch is confirmation that they don't even know which direction to take for improvement. If I could go back, I wouldn't buy it again, just as I won't buy any of their games blindly anymore. Embarrassing for a company of this size.

    6. After the nerfs the only viable builds focus on armor and dmg mitigation. Hope you prefer beating against trees with wooden clubs because otherwise you'll die instantly.

    7. Min/max a character level 90 with 10.5k attack power and 8.5k armor BASE and still get obliterated in tier 55 nightmare dungeons - the literal only endgame content which goes to tier 100. Guess I need more armor on my average ilvl 802 gear.

    8. Have a piece of gear that's almost good? Have fun spending over 30M gold trying to roll for what you need. Oh, you can farm about 6M per hour.

    9. Build variety is an actual joke. You get 2 options, maybe, if you want to push "endgame" content.

    10. Speaking of build variety, ask why you never see any barbarians running around. There isn't even class variety. Rogue, Druid. Necro. Don't like those, don't play.

    11. Running simulator. Die in a dungeon and the devs thought it would be tight to spawn you 4 miles from where you died. You will die. You will run. Hope that's worth your money.

    This game is absolute garbage. The first playthrough of the story is somewhat cool except its the same as every Diablo game. Find "Deckard Cain" -> Chase Big Bad -> One step behind, kill littler bad -> Confront big bad -> Game over. This game is such a cataclysmic disappointment that I'm swearing off Blizzard games. They can't make good games and they mismanage everything into the ground. Do not buy. There are myriad other games that won't leave you screaming at your monitor.    … Expand

    Complete disappointment. As a Diablo fan I expected more. Tons of developers and budget to release an incomplete game. After level 70 , there is pretty much nothing else to do. There is a lot wrong with the game, from mechanics to itemization the list is extensive. In summary, the game was a failure.

    If you have played the game, you know why I gave it this score, if you haven't, PLEASE STAY AWAY from it. The worst part about Diablo IV is that Blizzard won't give you a refund. The game only works in erasing hours of your life, with 0 fun.

    But oh, don't worry, because apparently having control options isn't supposed to translate to good gameplay. No, according to the masterminds behind Diablo 4, we're all just supposed to adapt to their archaic control scheme and be grateful for the privilege of enduring their nonsensical design choices. Because who needs player accessibility and comfort when you can frustrate your audience to the point of tears?

    And let's not even get started on the price tag. $130 for a game that's stuck in the past, not even bothering to acknowledge the basic standards of user-friendly controls? It's as if the developers are actively trying to rob players blind while simultaneously flipping them the middle finger. Congratulations, Blizzard, you've managed to outdo yourselves in creating a product that redefines the meaning of buyer's remorse.

    In conclusion, Diablo 4 is a catastrophic failure on every conceivable level. Its lack of WASD support is a slap in the face to gamers with disabilities, and the notion that control options are somehow irrelevant to good gameplay is mind-bogglingly absurd. Save your hard-earned money and precious time for a game that actually respects its players and embraces modern gaming conventions.     Gameplay is a slog. Visually, acoustically, and intellectually. Story hasn't held my interest and I will usually finish just about any    Pile if garbage.     While the future of the game is anyone’s guess, at present Diablo IV is a solid, but strangely unambitious take that fails to bring much new to the table. By the end of my travels, I was more than willing to put it down and take a break — somewhere amongst all the grinding, Diablo IV had unfortunately ground me down as well.
