    Most recent "balance update" made the game go from bad, to the worst. Mounts have been in games for years, Diablo 4 can't get that right. Diablo4 also disconnects me upwards of over 10 times a day from their servers. BIGGEST MEMORY LEAK I HAVE EVER SEEN IN THE HISTORY OF GAMING, causing the WORST LAG EVER. Want to kill Uber lilith?     Bugs are everywhere, the druid feels like Winnie the Pooh, and if you add the poor excuse for a horse, you have the perfect Winnie the Pooh and Eeyore combination - useless beyond believe! Apparently the poor excuse for the lack of stash, is that it takes too much memory to load another players items in their stash when they are near your player!! HAHA what a dumb a$$ made up excuse. Everyone knows they want players to pay for more stash tabs.. good old Bli$$

    A really awful game. Coming from someone who considers the first two Diablos among the best video games in history.
    The game is incredibly boring, repetitive, identical in all its parts. The story is confusing, not interesting. The enemies all look the same, shapeless masses of beasts with no personality.     Played rogue in season 1 and after completeing 3 season journeys I got no legendary items! So I'm lvl 34 and only yellow equip with 1 uniqe item and once again got bored cause you basically explore tunnels.
    Doing season journey has no sense - in d3 you got set items - here nothin worthy. Next, I don't    It's just simply boring. Played necro - my fav char since d2 and got bored after 50lvl

    Gameplay: Conflicting visions here are causing a lot of turmoil in the community. Do they want slower more strategic gameplay or do they want a fast paced power fantasy with a ton of synergies that explode entire maps? You'll find both depending on what class you pick and what you build with it. Warning: The game doesn't accommodate the slow way, until they decide to nerf monster density, which causes a conflict with the michael bay players. They'll nerf many things without any kind of second order thinking or any insight as to what was causing problematic metrics in their systems. There's just a total lack of cohesion here, I feel like there's no communication between teams at Blizzard and/or a really apathetic person responsible for overseeing decisions. The balance between classes re: the seasonal mechanic is non-existent. One class's "caged hearts" (special socketable maguffins that do fancy stuff) lets them play the game AFK. Another class's caged hearts come with barriers that they don't generate to begin with or that grant them resistances that are mathematically broken (by blizzard's own admission). Actually, quite a number of things are broken mathematically.
    Who thought it was a good idea to make a multiplicative damage bucket? And then wonder why people want that multiplicative damage+ affix over all others? Was anyone home when this decision was made?

    What you chase in your gameplay loop is a minor smattering of items, a fraction of what's available in other Diablo iterations, So naturally people are tired of finding the same items over and over again. And consequently the team at blizzard makes it harder for you to find those same items over and over again. MIMS.

    Overall blizzard needs to pick a vision and stick to it. I think that would be step one to avoid insulting players who felt like they've paid 70+euros for amateur hour. Like it's shocking, once you have more insight to the game, you realize just how poor quality it is. The pricing is actually offensive in its audacity.    … Expand

    Blizzard killed the best thing about Diablo: the loot!!! boring gameplay. Boring, trash, not fun, confusing cross platform and party requirements for grouping. Bored to tears, actually refunded.

    This is boring. Boring is the main aspect of the game. 80% of skills are trash, You WILL have to play in a certain way to not suck at the game and freedom of choice is just a bad choice in the end. You will not enjoy your time, you will not have fun, Blizzard hates you for having fun and make you pay for trying to escape your boredom. I uninstalled the game, i'm just now bored AND angry.

    The 4 is empty of soul. The music is great, but the game is boring as hell after only 10 hours. The builds are annoying. Nothing original.     I wanted to love this game. I’m such a fan of the franchise. I grew up with it. All I needed was to hear the name of the title and I brought it without batting an eye. As of writing this, I've felt let down and regret paying more than $130+ of my hard earn money to play what feels like an incomplete game that continuously drags fun out of me as I play. I gave it my best crack. I reachedI wanted to love this game. I’m such a fan of the franchise. I grew up with it. All I needed was to hear the name of the title and I brought it without batting an eye. As of writing this, I've felt let down and regret paying more than $130+ of my hard earn money to play what feels like an incomplete game that continuously drags fun out of me as I play. I gave it my best crack. I reached 100 and did my best to give the game a fair play. I played Sorc... running nightmare dungeon was gruelling and the mechanics were not fun after a few runs. There was not much to do at level 100. World bosses die very quickly. That's not fun. There is no incentive for me to do Helltides. I have every legendary aspect other than the sun and I'm packed with resources and gold. My gear is the best that I can make it so what now? Maybe an Uber Unique? Oh sorry, they might as well not exist with that kind of drop rate... Oh! Shakogate happened. That fiasco left a bad taste in my mouth and I still feel second-hand embarrassed about it. Then patch 1.1 hits.. wow, talk about a middle finger to the player base! That completely gutted my class, my build and my overall game play experience. What was a slog before is now a corpse drag. Everything is longer, slower and harder. That's not fun. Imagine working hard for something and being proud of your earnings only for it to be stripped away. Without warning, I might add. This game has left a really bad taste in my mouth, and I am somewhat traumatized at the thought of returning to the game for season 1. It's just sad...… Expand

You cant trade because you can only trade with people in your Level range... Its mostly class bound Item Drops mostly for the class you Play...     Because everything Levels with you, Levels feel meaningless, they give you new Skill Points so you can handle the increased difficulty of the Monsters in combination with your Gear getting worse and worse each Level... Got a uniq you want to keep? Well **** you, stats are getting top weak in the next Levels anyways.

    There super uniqs which cant be farmed for, which means you will most likely never See them... And If you See them, good luck in getting good stats on them...

    There 4 difficulties... Tier 1 aka. "Most efficient, because its fast for the Story Line"
    Tier 2 aka. "Basicly Tier 1 with a littlebit more Challenge... Most likely not worth IT because u get slower"
    Tier 3 aka. "Chose me If you can, i got a new Item Tier... If you dont Chose me, all Drops you get are meaningless"
    Tier 4 aka. "Now we are talking, another, even better Item Tierlist... Remember Tier 3 ancient items? **** that **** Its Trash now"

    In Diablo 1... 2 and in generel 3.... Getting better items, progressing ment that you get stronger and feel stronger... New items gave you Major Advantages... But Sometimes there were cool Set bonis from lower Sets which could even be used in late Game... Getting Gear for twinks/ Friends or even random new Friends you met on the way, was fun and rewarding... In Diablo 4 everything feels meaningless... You have no reason to keep Low Level items... Little to no way to Support a friend with some items or the fact that you could Help them through tuff Battles. Diablo 2: Got a new build? Try it Out... Go back to Nightmare and farm Gear for it.. Progress and master it.
    Diablo 4: Got a new build? Well **** you... Respec every single Paragon Skill one by one... And oh Buddy, i Hope you got your full Gear rdy, because otherwise you Go Back to Tier 3 or even 2... Remember the new item Tier you Had in Tier 4? Forget it... Grind it till you bleed... Diablo 4, truly is hell.

    This game is a solid 4/10 for me. 3/10 after patch 1.0
    Back to 4/10, more 3.5 after the hotfix 1.1 But while you can say giving a 0 score is too low and fake...all the 10/10 reviews should face the same critic. Being a full game at 70$, with 1 month of basically open beta before Season 1, and going into S1 without ANY of the numerous problems reported in this month resolved....3-4/10 is the best I can give. Inventory space, UI still not fixed

    Respec is costly and a chore in the best scenario (just copy WOW for talent loadout and respec.....is also a blizzard game...just copy that part)
    Some specs are extremely underperforming.
    World chat doesn't work so the feeling is that of a single player game

    Before 1.0 endgame was very poor, made by uber lilith and dungeons T100, mostly the latter.
    Then devs said they didn't want dungeons to be endgame so they nerfed them.....ok
    ...leaving as the ONLY end game challenge uber lilith who doesn't even drop loot.......

    If they wanted to remove dungeons as end game content they should have given a replacement before nerfing them.... after the campaign is done... there is really nothing to do in the game but mindlessly farm loot for no real purpose Anyway I didn't vote 0/10 but I believe that until there will be people giving this game a score of 10/10, any 0/10 is totally justified to bring the total score of the game close to its true value    … Expand

    yeah, lowered it once again, the season is just like the base game, only slower and more boring. Lvling feels unawarding, killing mobs takes to long and since i allready know that the end game sucks, theres realy nothing to work forward to.

    What real problem is Blizzards lied and they don't care about that. I'm not talking about some fun things but real lies. Many of contents listed on pre-order are missing and they keep silence about that.

After 1 month of updates, they managed to completely remove all the fun parts from the game, leaving only unrewarding grinding. So disappointed at this game.

Even with the frame rate drops I would have been willing to continue playing the game and even buy the battle pass just for the aesthetic bonuses, but now given the blatant greed on display I will be moving on. I understand the need to fix game breaking builds like the druids ability to do a billion point hit, but the nerfs they introduced have broken legitimate builds that were fun to play. Hopefully they will roll back this nonsense in the upcoming patch, but until then I will be gaming elsewhere.… Expand

    The execution, however, was extremely rough and much worse compared to previous competitions. It seemed as though they threw away everything they learned from "Diablo 3" and decided to repeat the same mistakes.
    They adopted the disliked RNG (Random Number Generator) type from D3 and amplified it tenfold.
    The endgame design was extremely foolish. Imagine having only daily and world quests in "World of Warcraft," but your equipment self-destructs, and you have to replace it every week for no apparent reason.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. First and foremost, I am a casual gamer. I was not supposed to buy this game but bought it anyway because of how much I enjoyed D3 playing wizard/sorcerer.

    I played sorcerer for the campaign and toughed it out using a frost nova hydra build because it was the most suitable with my playstyle. Battles were usually long and arduous. Later on it became a task. I am mainly a solo player and only encounter other players during world events. That's when I see players 10 levels lower than my sorc from other classes dealing more damage.

    I don't usually look at the numbers (unlike the plyers at reddit which is cool) but the disparity between classes was in plain sight. I thought maybe the sorc will be stronger at 100 but happened upon a 100 sorc in a legion event. Both of us tried to take down a structure but it took painfully long until a druid "TOUCHED" it and took us out of our misery. Honestly it was demoralizing since the druid was lvl 77, I was at 86.

    Basically, a 80+ and a 100 lvl sorc combined, is weaker than a 77 druid. I retired my sorc that night. I would have uninstalled the game but I paid 150+ for this and I have not gotten my money's worth. If I can't get it from the fun aspect, I might as well get it from playtime.

    Created a rogue for season 1 and battles are finally looking up. But...

    Season 1 is underwhelming and frustrating. New dungeon mechanics make it hard to complete for malignant hearts but require a malignant invoker that is not even a guaranteed drop in the same dungeon. Am I supposed to run around dungeons for a "chance" to complete it because that, to me, sound like a scam and a good way to tell me to cut my losses and just uninstall.

    I expected a fun game and a little challenge. I guess Blizzard wanted to build a challenging game more than a fun one so now we get a patch that makes things more difficult, in the process lessening the fun aspect. The game has become more and more uninteresting.

    The only saving grace I have is I share the account with my partner and did not pay twice for a bad game.    … Expand

Allocate a skill point thats a disconnect. Try to get on your horse disconnect. Someone leveled up half a map away thats a disconnect. Disconnect in a nightmare dungeon gotta get a new sigil. Nerf is the word of the day. Almost done with legion event oops disconnect you dont get anything out of it. Magic find on sigils for nightmare dungeons one day randomly vanished even the ones I was stocking in my chest. we buffed whispering chests same loot drops 2 blues and a goat. Loot drops have been basically cut in half. Everything can one shot you off screen so in hell tides your cinders get cut in half and can't open anything. Everything in this game is built to make you hate even playing it. Maybe if the developers can take 3 seconds of verbally and emotionally abusing women maybe the game would be partly enjoyable.… Expand

    The game content is fine before the patch. Honestly, I would give this game a 5 overall, but I also understand why many people are upset with the game recently. Really dislike some people give 10/10 just because they saw others don't like the game. So I am here to do the opposite to balance it.

    I believe Diablo IV has to potential to become a masterpiece. The classes and their abilities truely feel amazing and RP. The campaign is by far the best across all games of this genre. It actually makes me want to sit, relax and enjoy it instead of skipping like every other ones. The leveling experience could be improved on some classes but overall feels great and rewarding. On top of all of that, the cross-play and cross-save capabilities of the game bundled with the absolute best controller experience for an ARPG I've ever felt makes me want to switch away from mouse and keyboard on my PC on a lot of occasions.

    The game had an absolute amazing launch. Unfortunatly, it still has some issues and the most recent patch made a lot of the community feel like the devs were out of touch. I partly felt this way too but after seeing how fast they are pushing out content and how well feedback is listened to and influcences their design decisions is giving me more than hope.

    I really dislike the review bombing that some people are doing. Giving a game a 0/10 is just plain unfair.
    I would give this game 9/10 but since people are being unfair I thought I'd chip in to counterbalance.    … Expand

    greedy developers. The season pass does not pay off. Pumping began to take even more time. Nerf everything. I don't want to play it anymore. This is not the level of the game for 80 bucks.

    This game (not gonna lie) "Was" awesome. But then Blizzard went to be one's own worst enemy.
    That patch 1.1.0. "Is horrible" I was enjoying the game really. But after this patch all joy faded. I regret that i bought the deluxe version of 100 bucks. I will (because i got it with the deluxe version) finish the battle pass. After that. I'll un-install the game. Till they fix this sh!t back    This game (not gonna lie) "Was" awesome.     Diablo was great, Diablo 2 was great, Diablo 3 not so much and Diablo 4 was ok till the huge nerf patch & that was the nail in the coffin for me.
    Sadly I had to uninstall earlier today as I cannot bear to play anymore but will keep myself updated to see how it matures.
    It deserves a 6 for what it was on launch but a Zero now after the patch.

    The game was fantastic at first but recent patches have really tarnished my experience since I play sorcerer. It was a 10, but I’m changing to a 8 based on the recent changes. I just hope they make my class viable again soon.

    People are saying there is no End-Game.... There is end game and this occurs around level 50, when you have nothing else to do in it but uninstall.

    First diablo game ive played and i gotta say is that it?
    so grinded my ass off pre season to 100 which was a slog fest. min maxed as best i could, then got nerfed into the ground with a single update, only to start season 1 and its the same thing all over again except you get 3 hearts to choose from and they all suck. like seriously this is shocking. oh yeh and xp has been nerfed too so    First diablo game ive played and i gotta say is that it?

    While the future of the game is anyone’s guess, at present Diablo IV is a solid, but strangely unambitious take that fails to bring much new to the table. By the end of my travels, I was more than willing to put it down and take a break — somewhere amongst all the grinding, Diablo IV had unfortunately ground me down as well.
