Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart is very important for the PS5 as it's a true showcase of what the hardware is capable of. The dynamic duo looks amazing in 4K, although it's the ray-tracing that really shines the most. Rivet is also an amazing addition to the cast, while the gameplay truly feels next-gen thanks to the DualSense and SSD. The game is rather short however which makes the 75 euro price tag stand out.

Torchlight II is a modern fairytale and offers a surplus of great action RPG elements. Comparable to Diablo III you say? We dare to claim it's even better. An awesome, colorful dream coming to you from your computer screen. Definitely a thumbs up for developer Runic.

XCOM 2 is a perfect sequel to Enemy Unknown. The core is almost the same, but is rock solid and the new setting is an excellent base for a wide diversity in missions. Only the graphical compartment could have been improved.

Dishonored 2 is quite a masterpiece. An interesting campaign with an enormous replay value takes you to the best Karnaca has to offer. Corvo is back, but he's not alone anymore.

It doesn't matter if you're a Minecraft-veteran or a total noob: the Minecraft: Xbox One Edition is just as addicting as all of it's predecessors. A larger world and higher resolution only adds to the experience, making this the best console version out there.

Divinity Original Sin Enhanced Edition is an enormous role-playing game that begs to be explored. The world is filled with content, and the overall experience is challenging but rewarding. The new co-op functionality makes this already amazing game also a blast to play with friends.

Despite the battles being a bit of a letdown, 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim is a must have for those who love plot driven games. Up until the very last moment you're still not sure of what's going on, but that's not annoying. Far from it: every single plot twist just makes it harder to put your console away.

A re-release or soft reboot of the latest zombie slasher from Techland is better and more challenging than before, with a new persistent survival mode, new roadkill races and more. The best part: it's a free upgrade.

Black Ops is another addition to the Call of Duty franchise but shows the same flaws as its predecessor. The multiplayer has improved, but a franchise of this stature should know how to get rid of the mistakes from the past.

Deathloop proves that the concept of Groundhog Day also works in games. The story is phenomenal, mostly thanks due to the excellent voice-acting. Arkane focuses again on stealth, but also gives the play more options for all-out warfare, with a plethora of guns, special powers, and upgrades. The stay on Blackreef Island can get a little bit repetitive after multiple time loops, but the island itself is beautifully crafted, and the ending makes it all worth it. Arkane once again hit it out of the park.

Metroid Dread is the return of Samus we waited for almost twenty years. The closing chapter of Samus' adventure is intended to kickstart the era of the Switch OLED and it does it with a bang. The game looks delicious and plays seamlessly smooth. The game has some minor flaws but feels nearly perfect as you search the depths of ZDR and need to flee the E.M.M.I. to save your life. This is simply a must-buy for everyone that owns a Switch.

The graphics and the sound in BioShock 2 are well done, but the gameplay hasn't changed much since the first title. The story and the atmosphere in Rapture are still the best part of the game and therefore the main reason to buy this work of art.

While the Rampage Mode was a bit disappointing, Monster Hunter Rise ultimately manages to incorporate the excellent gameplay of its predecessors while introducing the interesting new Wirebug mechanics. The game also brings back the interesting and often wonky weapon designs that many fans missed in Monster Hunter World. While graphics may have been sacrificed somewhat for this timed Switch Exclusive, Rise's personality more than makes up for it.
