Split Fiction is an excellent follow-up to It Takes Two. Though the very similar concept loses its shine a little bit, constantly changing gameplay, a heartwarming story and plenty of memorable moments make up for that. As does the plethora of easter eggs that can be found throughout the game.- XGN

Gears of War 3 is a must buy shooter that offers you hours and hours of gameplay. It's got a long campaign and the multiplayer is better then ever. Epic Games has made good adaptations. But don't expect really big innovations.- XGN

F1 2020 improves directly on the previous Formula 1 game from Codemasters. With MyTeam the developer has created the most complete career mode so far. The AI is also much more intense to fight in battles on track, which keeps singleplayer races interesting. Furthermore with the casual mode Codemasters have implemented every beginning driver can enjoy the F1 experience.- XGN

A Link Between Worlds has the ungraceful task of being the ‘sequel’ to one of the greatest Zelda games ever, A Link to The Past. It adds a few cool features, with the wall-drawings as highlight of the game. However, it doesn’t add too many new concepts to an old formula.- XGN

From Software has clearly learned from its earlier mistakes by creating an absolutely wonderful PC version this time around. Shame about the monstrous keyboard and mouse controls, but nothing a controller won't fix. Aside of that, the core gameplay really shines, because of the many subtle improvements the PC version enjoys. The biggest achievement, however, is that one of the greatest games of 2014 has managed to become even greater.- XGN

Dark Souls II is a sequel done right in every way. There is more to explore, mechanics from the first game are polished and further expanded. Fans will be happy to know that the game is still challenging and at the same time it is more accessible for newcomers.- XGN

While it's a shame the game is just a port of the Switch version from last year, there is no denying this is one of the best JRPG's in recent memory. The game is excellent in almost every way. If you can't get the Switch version, this is the way to go.- XGN

Nearly every issue from last year has been fixed, but it's a shame that some online issues still appear. But even with all the other minor issues found throughout the game, NBA 2K12 is a very solid presentation.- XGN

Animal Crossing New Horizons delivers on all fronts. Even though you know what to expect, the game manages to surprise you in meaningful ways that'll keep you playing for hundreds of hours. The localisation could've been better, but that doesn't impact the fun that you're guaranteed to have.- XGN

The biggest reason to get this game is co-op, either online or offline. Especially if you own a next-gen console, as this game looks great and has much more depth than most next-gen games.- XGN

Despite the fact that the new Tactical Defending isn't as good as we expected it to be, FIFA 12 plays like a wonderful soccer game. The new features for the online and career mode are really good, just as the Impact Engine. This is soccer at its best.- XGN

This remaster might feel a bit superfluous as the original PS4 version was already great. However, the added features including the commentary, deleted scenes and the new roguelike game mode are welcome additions. For new players, this remastered version is definitely the right choice. For owners of the PS4 version, the extras and extra graphical fidelity might be enough to entice the relatively small upgrade fee.- XGN
