With Pokemon Shield Game Freak has delivered one of their best games in years thanks to a fantastic addition with the Wild Area. Everyone can find something they will enjoy even though the National Dex isn't here and the online infrastructure isn't great. The music, new designs and animation alone give you enough reason to play on the first mainline entries to ever grace the TV.- XGN

A cherry on top of the cake that is 25 years of Need for Sped, or yet another 'what could have been'? Need for Speed Heat has the potential te be everything that anyone can ever ask from a Need for Speed-title, yet it makes several strange choices that do not benefit the game. Racing is fun as always, the story is poor and customizing cars makes up for a lot. But a title that celebrates 25 years of Need for Speed? No, not by a long shot.- XGN

Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC is everything that the console version was but better, although with some caveats. The controls are improved with mouse and keyboard, but are still a bit clunky. The graphics are breathtaking, but it does requires a beefy PC and there are some technical problems. If you can run it however, it's one of the best games the platform has to offer.- XGN

Thanks to a mix-and-match of different genres Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is the best Star Wars-game is years. Combat and traversal is challenging and diverse, puzzles will require your brain and Force powers are cleverly used in every part of the game. With a fun story mode and a ton of minigames there is a lot to love about Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020. The game is full of fun facts about the event and history that keep you learning as you play. The map could be better and there maybe is too much reading involved, but that doesn't take away from the game in any big way.- XGN

Scrat's Nutty Adventure finally gives Scrat his own game. The rodent runs around and collects tons of acorns. But the acorns don't affect the game at all. Next to that the game is way too simple, even for the younger gamers. It primarily focuses on the small starting gamer. Still, Scrat is a hilarious animal that makes you laugh.- XGN

Luigi's Mansion 3 treats the player to a meaty single-player adventure, with beautiful environments, a plethora of different enemies and cool puzzles. Obsidian Entertainment has learned from its previous titles and used those lessons in The Outer Worlds. It makes the best RPG from the studio to date, with a story full of choices and consequences, weird planets and inhabitants and a plethora of play-styles. It's a shame the combat feels clunky from time to time and there are fewer planets to visit than expected, but that shouldn't spoil the fun that The Outer Worlds has to offer.- XGN

Deck13 has learned from the first game and it has notably improved The Surge 2. Combat is visceral and fluid and the limb-targeting system remains brilliant. Despite the beautiful and fluent gameplay, the game has its flaws on the Switch.- XGN

Assassin's Creed III remastered contains a lot of content and you will definitely enjoy playing it. Still it still feels like a game which was released years ago. Not a must have, rather a nice to have.- XGN

Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon has an incredibly cute look to it. But don't be fooled, the game is unforgiving and challenging. The roguelike elements can feel a little off balance at times, but the fighting system and dungeons keep you going.- XGN

Yoshi's Crafted World is a great game thanks to the amount of content and the great coop experience. You just need to take your time when playing coop. The bosses could've been more challenging as well, but the Poochy-levels are great and make up for it.- XGN
