It's a sad indictment of the brand that the most important point to be made here is that Dynasty Warriors Gundam 3 isn't a sloppy shambles, but there you go. [Issue#75, p.79]- X-ONE Magazine UK

Gorgeous, enjoyable and absolutely nutty, El Shaddai is full of ideas. However, it doesn't put them all to good use, and its beautiful world is merely a facade to dress up the repetitive combat. [Issue#76, p.86]- X-ONE Magazine UK

This is an unexpected game. Everything points to the fact that by all accounts it should be awful. Licenses like this hardly ever work, but amazingly it comes off feeling like a fun, throwaway shooter with a workable shooting mechanic and some quite enjoyable moments that, while strictly not very Bond in nature, make the game well worth a look if you’re either a Bond fan or even just enjoy a good shooter.- X-ONE Magazine UK
