This is not a game for the weak minded. One must be mature enough to look beyond the glitz and glamour of gaming to appreciate what Crusader Kings is: an uncompromising exercise in strategy and planning.

The whole nostalgia thing was nostalgic a few years ago. That’s a sad state of affairs, folks. Are we so void of new material, or can we spread our creative wings a little more than this?

Somehow, flubbing the gameplay itself surprises me; it's like showing up to a party and finding that the snack bar consists of really butt-kicking salsa and a bowl of live lobsters to dunk into it.

Aside from mediocre graphics, an inflexible combo system, and the omission of one of the best hair band songs ever written, Rocky: Legends is a satisfying experience.

Grab a walkthrough or something and get this one on the cheap and you're good for several hours of fun watching Sherlock solve a deeply baffling case. People who actually like to PLAY their mystery games, though, can take a pass here.

For a budget title, this game performs its duties to the utmost of my expectations, and even beyond, in some aspects.

Even some of the older games, like "Samurai Showdown 3," had more going on with the same quality of graphics and sound.

There's also a nasty glitch I should warn you about, be sure to keep your hands off the controller during cutscenes, or you stand a good chance of coming out of them having just walked off into an enemy or bottomless pit.

The controls, while being intuitive, definitely required a little bit of time to adjust to.

The controls are some of the best you'll find in a rally racer, the online experience adds smooth replay value, and the visuals are above par.

Not only did this title have mediocre gameplay, but it also stomped upon my fond memories of a beloved childhood show.

It just works; it combines a challenging combat system with likeable characters and a unique setting to create a truly excellent game. Covenant is easily a contender for the title of best RPG on the PS2.

    A mediocre release.

The graphics are blocky and unclear, the storyline is weak, and the combat is uninteresting and repetitive.

As a total game experience, it is enchanting, and sometimes even astounding, if you have a machine that can handle it well.

Timegate Studios has worked on what was perceived to be Kohan’s biggest weakness: its graphics. To this end they succeeded, the game looks good now.

In some ways this game understands that the core of a game is not flashy graphics and interactive soundscapes but is in actuality the gameplay. DDR is an extremely involving game, it’s like being mind controlled.

The soundtrack is slightly odd and different and gets repeated throughout a stage, which will either be a considered a nuisance or fuel your search for the game's original soundtrack. It's all a matter of personal preference.

It is a good game that is well thought-out, plays well (assuming you take the time to learn the game) and is a very satisfying experience.

The sheer amount of repetition in this title makes it seem longer than it already is and considering that it spans three movies worth of content that is quite a feat.

If Raven Software had just put some more polish on the graphics, found some better voice actors, ramped up the difficulty at the end and put it online, this could have been a contender for RPG of the year.

It's a shame that the gameplay had to be so shallow because the story is so great. In a game about psychic powers, you really should be able to use them more often.

I would highly suggest NHL 2005 for anyone who likes sports games, but the controls are too complex for casual non-fans who just want to pick up a game and play effectively.

An amazing action/shoot-"em-up of the sort that casual gamers everywhere seem to crave, yet never notice sitting on the shelves in front of them.

Functionally, the game was almost perfect, with only minor issues with the AI of the team members. The ability of the medic to heal the player to a certain amount, but with some damage that stays with the player through a mission or two is about as realistic as a game could get.

The children are fantastic addition to the game, and they do a great job at raising some serious hell as well. I never understood what Junior’s fascination with the toilet bowl was all about, though.
