At $20 and with its multiplayer mode, State of Emergency is worth picking up by anyone in of some incredibly mindless destructive fun.

If this game were to have some sort of co-op mode of play or four-player multiplayer mode, it would have been great.

Every time you sit down with Metroid Prime the experience is always entirely different thanks to the ever-expanding environment and numerous enhancements that you'll consistently come across.

One of those games that really turned out like complete garbage, and I don't mind saying that...Please, take my word for it and don't spend any cash on this lousy game.

Quite solid, and if there is one problem, it is the steep learning curve. If you are new to manager-type games, then the huge amount of options can lead to quick frustration, but the tutorial and succinct manual alleviate this, if only a bit.

Ankh delivers an enjoyable, kid-friendly romp through an attractive Egyptian setting in a compact, old-fashioned point-and-click package that is sure to induce a chuckle or two.

The randomness of much of the game can bring to ruin even the best-laid plans, and having a longtime ally stab you in the back while your army is on the other side of the map is, to say the least, frustrating.

A huge disappointment. The board games provided are enjoyable, but the journey to each one is ultimately not even worth it.

All in all, Battlefield 2: Armored Fury is a fun and challenging addition to the original game, and at a price of only $9.99, it is also highly affordable.

I can only recommend this game to passionate duck hunters and those with 10-year-old PCs too feeble to run anything else. Then again, I suppose this title is the best duck-hunting game I have ever played.

Having come from the imagination of a few of LucasArts alums, A Vampyre Story had the potential to spin a gothic comedy steeped in that tradition, which my score reflects. But I won't recommend half a game to players.

If you are looking for a tactical military shooter, I recommend picking up either of the Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter games, as they are legitimate products of this generation in video games. I think I'll go play them right now just to wash away the vile taste of Raven Squad.

All in all, Sword of the Stars: A Murder of Crows is a worthwhile expansion to those who are already infatuated with the series, but it doesn't alter things enough to convert non-believers.
