Superdimension takes a number of steps forward for the series and a few steps back. Overall I really enjoyed it and it's clear a lot of care went into thinking up new and interesting mechanics but sadly an overuse of old content holds the game back from being outstanding.- The Vita Lounge

While Dragon Fantasy Book II is far from a bad game, it doesn't quite live up to its predecessor. The story is hilarious and characters are great. Even the graphics are good with the new models allowing for more expression, but the buggy combat system ultimately weighs the whole game down.- The Vita Lounge

If you're looking for an introduction to the beat 'em up genre, look no further - as MegaTagmension Blanc + Neptune VS Zombies is a prime choice for just that very purpose. While many will love the more relaxed pace I can't help feel that it now means you're much more likely to notice the unfortunately lackluster battle system. Thankfully the game has some really great characters and a fun revamped alchemy system which helps to make up for this.- The Vita Lounge

Akiba's Trip is filled with the things an otaku loves; strange plots, fanservice, Japanese culture/references and a great location. What it doesn't offer however, is a lot of depth, an overly lengthy story line or any shame.- The Vita Lounge

A Boy and His Blob is a beautiful and heart-warming game with a classic 2D platformer feel. The game is not particularly long and most of the puzzles are not particularly challenging but its charm and beauty make it a worthwhile experience. It's difficult to call Plague of Shadows an essential expansion to the Shovel Knight experience, but if you're seriously craving the need to play through the game and experience it in a different way then this is worth a look. Rocketbirds 2: Evolution is an explosive and humorous take on the action games of yesteryear. Combine that with the visual sheen of a modern title and it sounds like an instant win. However, uneven characters and the hit-and-miss soundtrack wear it down its charm. Extra finnicky controls for precise aiming, large difficulty spikes, and bullet sponge enemies hold it back even further from greatness.- The Vita Lounge

Farming Simulator 16 returns to the Vita, and it's bigger and better than ever. A number of small tweaks and additional features makes it the best portable farming sim yet. Good old-school adventure gameplay with very little else to be admired in its other aspects. For those who love unabashed, lowbrow humor, Demetrios might be the game for you. But if compelling narratives and likeable characters are more your thing, perhaps you should look somewhere else.- The Vita Lounge

Despite Dex having some slightly repetitive gameplay and awful shadow effects it kept me gripped throughout because of it's dark gritty setting and many interesting characters. If the game ever gets a sequel then I'd definitely want to return to Harbour Prime.- The Vita Lounge

It's not as good as the previous titles, yet still manages to offer a well rounded experience. If a lack of online isn't an issue for you and you don't mind the lacklustre presentation then you'll probably enjoy this but WRC 4 is far superior.- The Vita Lounge

Criminal Girls feels rather simplistic for its nature, but it may be enough to scratch that RPG itch for some gamers.- The Vita Lounge

Citizens of Earth is a game that spends too much time trying to feed on people's notalgia then trying to be unique or fresh. An old combat system is reborn, but then instantly gets old again. It also offers far too much in the way of side quests that the games main quest, which never seems to pick up anyway, even more forgettable.- The Vita Lounge
