    Boss! tries its best, but unless you dressing up monsters in seasonally-appropriate attire is your thing, you'll probably find it to be a little lacking.

    A crazy and charming beat 'em up that is fun to play in short bursts. The gameplay begins to become repetitive quickly but a wide variety of customization options helps to make things laughably fun. It's a lighthearted good time that manages to not take itself seriously at all.

    The price is far too steep for what you’re getting, but Boss! is still worth checking out at some point if you’re interested in simple, mindless fun.

    If you are looking for a game that will keep you entertained for hours, you’ll be best off looking elsewhere. The enjoyment I did find, I found when playing it in quick 10-20 minute sessions but anything longer than that the repetitiveness of the game would wear on me causing boredom.

    I wish I could feel like Boss! meant something other than a cheap throwaway downloadable, but sometimes video games we love become the story all on their own. I couldn’t find that in Boss! though you may have an excuse to download a handful of PSN games this holiday season.

I will also disclose that I'm involved in the development of the game, but that should take credit out of this review, I played it and enjoyed it before getting involved on it. The game has several elements to entice both children and young adults, the beat 'em up part of the game is a really good at stress relieving, and spending time customizing you Boss to make it more evil is very rewarding as well. I just wish we had the time to improve the sounds of the enemies, I wanted more and more variations of the SFX, also I wanted to improve the Boss battles to make them more memorable but that will have to wait for the next iteration. I definitely recommend the game and I feel really proud of being active part of its development.… Expand

This is a very good game, played for hours, selecting the best items and the best evolutions, I love the items that gives me special power like poison and freeze, also like the special attack of the blue evolution, I don't have the skeleton and the fire evolution yet, but I am looking forward to get them. Very funny the new enemies styles you found when you play Christmas or Halloween areas and I'm totally amazed by the knight riding the cow, that is hilarious.… Expand
