It's free, it's fun and will fill some of your time up but it will get very repetitive and offers no real longevity.

Repetitive gameplay and a lack of original ideas drain this enthusiastic athlete of energy, however, and you'll be tired of the free-to-play experience long before you reach the finish line.

The LittleBigPlanet theme is nice and the powerups, upgrades, and boosts are great. My only problems though are that if you want to get through the game fast, you're going to end up having to buy more score bubbles with real money, and if you don't, the game is going to take a long time. The missions can be quite irritating at times and you might have to end up skipping some of them, which takes a lot of bubbles. Stickers are a nice touch because they give you a reason to keep playing other than doing missions to level up, but it gets confusing on where to find them, though. Still, it's a perfect free game compared to other ones on the Playstation Store. Expand

A fun endless runner to waste some of your time with. Too much microtransactions but since the game is free-to-play that's forgivable. Nice toA fun endless runner to waste some of your time with. The game is free *to play*, so take this review with a grain of salt. It's not like I wasted any money on it.

When I got my Vita, Run Sackboy Run was one of the first games I downloaded, since I'm a huge fan of the core LBP series. A fun platformer with quirky characters, great level design, and a place to be creative allowing you to build your own stages.
This game lacks almost all of that. I mean, obviously, it's just an endless runner with the Sackboy face on it, I didn't expect LittleBigPlanet 4 or anything. Run Sackboy Run is one of the best examples of "pay to win" I've seen in a while.
It is possible to complete this game (that is, obtain all costumes, stickers, and trophies) without spending a single dime, but it would honestly take you several months, possibly a year, unless you're extremely dedicated. Unlocking new costumes costs bubbles, which you pick up as you play. Fair enough. Some early ones will only cost 1,000 or so (I could be off a bit, it's been a while since I unlocked those), but several costumes will take an insane amount of bubbles to unlock (350,000 bubbles for one particular costume). That's not even touching on the most elusive costumes that you can't even buy with bubbles. Two of the costumes require specific tokens, which you can only acquire by opening certain chests. There are two types of chest in the game: Lucky Chests and Mega Lucky Chests. These cost 500 & 2500 bubbles respectively. To unlock the Aviator costume, you need 300 Aviator Tokens which you will *occasionally* find within either chest (usually between 1-10 at a time), and the Wolf costume is unlocked with 50 Wolf Tokens (again, *occasionally* found within Mega Lucky Chests only). You could waste several runs worth of bubbles hoping to get a token, and only end up with a sticker or something that you can find within the stages themselves.
Stepping away from the paywall, the controls in the game aren't the most responsive. The game is entirely touch-based, which is probably not the best method for a precise platformer. I've had several instances where I know I tapped the screen on time, but the game didn't recognize it and I crashed into some spikes.
All I can say is that the game is free, so it's worth checking out if you're a fan of the LBP series, but don't expect to keep it on your hard drive for long.

    Pros:
    +It's "free"
    +The LBP theme fits nicely
+The music is straight from the core series
+Unlockable costumes, even some exclusive ones you can port to the main series.
+Upgradable powerups change up the pace.

    Cons:
    -Very repetitive
    -Flighty controls
    -Not much variety in music
    -Very large paywall

You would have to be a special kind of sicko to find enjoyment out of this sorry excuse for a videogame. I'm sorry to any fans of this game, but you really should be locked up in the loony bin for a long long time.

The gameplay is simple. Tap the screen to jump and swipe your finger across the screen to the right to give Sackboy a small burst of speed. That is it. Sackboy walks automatically so you don't need to worry about that.. There is also the option to play the game using the PsVita's very useful REAR TOUCH PAD, which is so awkward to play with that I have to wonder if anyone genuinely tested the game using this in the first place because I can't imagine a real "thinking" human being would actually believe someone would enjoy playing their game like that....or playing their game at all for that matter.

You can unlock various costumes and powerups as you accumulate more 'bubbles' when you progress through the game. However, these things cost such an insane amount of bubbles that you'd have to have played the game for weeks...months...maybe even years if you actually wanted to get them all. You'd be much better off if you just spent real money to get them.

I would recommend this game to Psychopaths, convicted murderers/rapists, Vegans, Pickup artists, Youtubers, Nintendo fans and Clowns. This will easily top my upcoming "Worst games of all time" and "Top biggest mistakes humanity has made of all time" lists. Thank you for reading~
