The game is free *to play*, so take this review with a grain of salt. It's not like I wasted any money on it.
When I got my Vita, Run Sackboy Run was one of the first games I downloaded, since I'm a huge fan of the core LBP series. A fun platformer with quirky characters, great level design, and a place to be creative allowing you to build your own stages.

This game lacks almost all of that. I mean, obviously, it's just an endless runner with the Sackboy face on it, I didn't expect LittleBigPlanet 4 or anything. Run Sackboy Run is one of the best examples of "pay to win" I've seen in a while.
It is possible to complete this game (that is, obtain all costumes, stickers, and trophies) without spending a single dime, but it would honestly take you several months, possibly a year, unless you're extremely dedicated. Unlocking new costumes costs bubbles, which you pick up as you play. Fair enough. Some early ones will only cost 1,000 or so (I could be off a bit, it's been a while since I unlocked those), but several costumes will take an insane amount of bubbles to unlock (350,000 bubbles for one particular costume). That's not even touching on the most elusive costumes that you can't even buy with bubbles. Two of the costumes require specific tokens, which you can only acquire by opening certain chests. There are two types of chest in the game: Lucky Chests and Mega Lucky Chests. These cost 500 & 2500 bubbles respectively. To unlock the Aviator costume, you need 300 Aviator Tokens which you will *occasionally* find within either chest (usually between 1-10 at a time), and the Wolf costume is unlocked with 50 Wolf Tokens (again, *occasionally* found within Mega Lucky Chests only). You could waste several runs worth of bubbles hoping to get a token, and only end up with a sticker or something that you can find within the stages themselves.
Stepping away from the paywall, the controls in the game aren't the most responsive. The game is entirely touch-based, which is probably not the best method for a precise platformer. I've had several instances where I know I tapped the screen on time, but the game didn't recognize it and I crashed into some spikes.
All I can say is that the game is free, so it's worth checking out if you're a fan of the LBP series, but don't expect to keep it on your hard drive for long.
Pros:
+It's "free"
+The LBP theme fits nicely
+The music is straight from the core series
+Unlockable costumes, even some exclusive ones you can port to the main series.
+Upgradable powerups change up the pace.
Cons:
-Very repetitive
-Flighty controls
-Not much variety in music
-Very large paywall… Expand
