Oct 31, 2016Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters: Daybreak Special Gigs is a refined version of the original, while still maintaining the signature weirdness that made the initial release so charming.
-
Oct 9, 2016Ultimately, Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters: Daybreak Special Gigs is more of Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters, for better as well as for worse. The changes to the systems aren't enough to alleviate some of the frustration of the original, but for players that are open to the experience (or who enjoyed things the first time around), there's a lot to like about it.
-
Oct 17, 2016A beautiful game that absolutely nails its themes and atmosphere.
-
Jan 17, 2017Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters: Daybreak Special Gigs is a quirky game that'll likely win you over if you have the patience to master its unconventional gameplay. If you do then bustin' will surely make you feel good.
-
Sep 27, 2016One of the biggest frustrations with Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters [is] its combat is almost completely based on chance.
-
Oct 1, 2016Tokyo Twilight Hunters Daybreak: Special Gigs is made up of solid concepts that get forgotten due to lacklustre tutorials. Additions made to the story and gameplay improve upon the original title, leading to a decent experience, but only if you’re willing to stick with it.
-
Dec 8, 2016Obviously, I can't say that any of Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters Daybreak: Special Gigs! did much more for me this time around than it did the first time. But, as I said up top, the opposite is true, too: if you liked the first one, then get this one too, because they're basically functionally identical.
