Wanderjahr provides an interesting spin on the RPG genre and there's plenty of content to keep you occupied, but repetition sets in too quickly to produce an experience that will keep you coming back to see it through to the end.

WanderjahR is an interesting and charming battle-focused sort-of-JRPG that undoes itself a little by dragging out the levels which is never good considering the Vita's battery life. It's no pushover either so if you fancy a challenge, this is a worthy, if flawed, addition to the Vita's growing list of RPGs.

It's hard to see why anyone would pick Wanderjahr over pretty much anything else. It's boring to play and not much to look at, so unless you have a thing for watching bland characters do the same things over and over again, you'll be better off spending your dollars elsewhere.
