    If you're looking for a futuristic racer that'll get your pulse pounding, Air Race Speed will do the trick. The vehicles are sleek little spaceships that extremely handle well, the courses are challenging without being impossible, and the whole time trial/star rating thing means that, particularly on the Vita, it lends itself perfectly to replayability. In isolation, each of these things would be great; taken together, they make for a genuinely fun game.

    Air Race Speed is a tight little arcade racer with a simple premise executed exceptionally well. The one more go nature of the game makes this ideally suited to the Vita and can easily keep you playing for hours at a time. It offers a decent level of challenge and a lot of content for the cheap price point. You need to own this game if you have a Vita.

    Air Race Speed is one of those pleasant surprises that never sets the world alight but yet still manages to thoroughly entertain. Rock-solid performance and a great sense of speed means that adrenaline junkies will enjoy this, and while it doesn't exactly threaten WipEout's speed freak crown, it should ease the wait for the Omega Collection next year.

    Air Race Speed has some good ideas but unfortunately the full package falls short of some of the promise displayed. There are some high speed thrills to be found for those with a speed craving but the game feels like it needs more to feel like the complete package.

The gameplay itself is really fun, addictive as hell, and provides plenty of challenge even if you don't get into beating your best scores/times. It's basically a stunt flying/racing game. You fly through tight tunnels at insane speeds, avoiding obstacles. The controls are actually very good as is the 60 fps framerate. There's a ton of levels, and even a few bonus levels which set themselves apart from the rest. There's also a range of ships you can unlock. The graphics are also definitely good for a 60 fps Vita game. It's very easy to pick up and play, but hard to put down so make sure you keep an eye on the time because 10 minutes can fly by as if it were 2. It's really that addictive and engrossing.

    I found this game to be fun. Basically just racing around in a airship through tunnels. Not deep but it runs well on Vita and good for quick plays.
